You do realize that they only trigger their Flip effects if flipped face-up BEFORE they leave the board, right? So if I use, say, Wild Tornado's effect to destroy a set Man Eater Bug, it just dies like a bitch and its effect never triggers.

Unless a card specifically flips something up (and doesn't have that phrase "Flip Effects do not activate at this time"), a monster swings into it for battle (since you have to flip it up to check the stats to resolve battle correctly), or it's just plain Flip Summoned, Flips don't get their effects.

Also there's tons of monster removal that doesn't care if something is face-down first.
