Alright Hunters, head-count. How many of us are still here after the absolute fucking catastrophe that was this Halloween?

Yeah, yeah, we're coming. How many organs are outside your body right now?

Oh, we're short on human organs, as a warning, so some of you might be getting some... Not so human organs. They'll naturalize, eventually, and require some harsh medications, but I promise you'll be fine!

So, who wants a free incubus dong?

Nothing is "temporary" with Demons, you fool. You will *think* that it's just a "temporary situation", but you will have already well and truly damned yourself beyond saving by working with the Enemy. But since you seem like the sort to not listen no matter what anyone else may say to the contrary, you can enjoy getting fucked over by things made of fractal black-holes, or things composed of mathematical formulae.

but there were several types in the contract
is it valid?
specifically my friend 'owws' him his 'sole'
if my friend gave the demon his shoes would that be good?

"Don't burn them at the stake," they said. "That's barbaric," they said. So I didn't, and look what happened.

WHO'S LAUGHING NOW

NOT ME

BECAUSE IT'S NOT FUCKING FUNNY

There is a REASON "just shooting it" does not work with most of this shit! What is it going to take to get people to grasp this? You can't "humanely" kill something with any major regenerative capacity short of actual, literal artillery! Werewolves, witches who know restoration charms, people possessed by basically anything - you either explode them or you burn them.
>>
>>56202218
I mean sure. if you bound a spirit to the shoe then maybe. casting a spell to make the shoe sentient might also work.

But thats offering someone elses soul, which Im not complaining. but that just makes the contract a little less special.
>>
Well Halloween was a fucking horror show. Demon realms and really old shit started popping up like crazy after 9 PM, me and my buddies were running ourselves ragged trying to shut all that shit down before the locals were touched, but they still got hit, took a couple blocks of the town out and a dozen civilians are hurt pretty bad. I lost three of my buds, and two more are slowly turning to moss, and I am down an arm and an eye, my good arm by the way. Only reason I'm even still awake is a mixture of pain killers, red bulls, lots of whiskey and some pain runes I learned back in my time in the army. So now were cleaning up what's left and trying to pick up the pieces. I dunno what the fuck stirred the bees hive this Halloween, but it was no where close to what it normally is, I saw some things that I've only heard of in my grandad's journals, things that havn't been around for decades.
>>
I found the Book of Horus and read it front to back. Well, as front to back as is possible for a big ass scroll.

>the absolute fucking catastrophe that was this Halloween?
So where the fuck do you live? Everything was completely silent over here. No great shambling beasts, no unknowable terrors from beyond the hells of hell, not even a fucking vampire bat. Don't think I wasn't looking, too, I spent damn near all night camping out in the deepest darkest parts of the woods here.

Here, there's usually some kind of overbearing feeling of impending doom year round, but this halloween was just as boring as ever. Even the animals slept soundly through the night, and they're usually jumpy as shit. Like, honestly? Pretty disappointed

And it wouldn't be the FIRST time you assholes got me all excited for nothing. I can't even begin to count all the LETTERS I've gotten and foolishly ignored warning me of some new terror coming to devour us all.
>>
Fuck fuckfuck ok so there were some shady people in the alley round the back of my flat, nothing to worry about until they started singing. Weirdos in a back alley is pretty common in this city but this wasn't proper music, it made my skin crawl and I swear to God my ears bled a little. So I don't know what to do, I'm a trainee, all I've been taught is self-preservation and maintaining already-controlled situations but my bloody mentor's away for the evening on 'business'. I thought I'd get a better look but I didn't want to get any closer (sure as hell didn't want to go outside with them) so I got my binoculars and tried to see if they had any eldritch-looking tools or something, I don't know. Anyway, so I looked at the one who seemed to be leading the 'singing' and she locked eyes with me, like she knew exactly where I was. Obviously I freaked out a little and closed the windows but the singing's only gotten louder and I'm certain I can see the sounds drifting through the air. What the fuck do I do? How do I fix this?
>>
>>56203690
You go out there and do what little you have been trained to do, which a generous dose of shotgun based improvisation. Get out of there alive and you graduate to the darwin school of veterancy.
>>
>>56203729
I'm in England and it's just my flat, I don't have a shotgun. I haven't even passed handgun training. At best there's kitchen knives, rope and null salts
>>
>>56203590
>So where the fuck do you live?
We are a vast hive-mind that merged with the spirit of a Hunter near his hour of death, so we aren't affixed to any *one* location. We got to see the devastation from multiple points because of this. The fact that you didn't hear about that one city being swallowed up by a gaping maw, or several well-populated towns turning into Meat-Moss, is far more surprising dear Hunter.

I live in the middle of nowhere. Typically the forests here are crawling with the most aberrant terrors the deepest pit can choke back up. So imagine my surprise when there wasn't an encroaching march of black lambs baring dim torches, that came in the night and hauled us away one by one to invade and re-release back into society to infiltrate and devour the unworthy.

I really expected at least something to happen, with all the hype you guys were drumming up. Not to mention things have been eerily silent for months prior. So good for you, I guess. I wish something interesting happened around here once in a while. Devils clad in hides of wool so stained with blood the crimson is deeper than pitch, eyes smoking black, horns twisted and thorned, you know that sort of thing. Even though I guess I should be grateful that there isn't some eldritch terror crawling beneath my skin that whispers and wails in a thousand different voices, barely able to move my own limbs.

But I guess there's a FIRST time for everything, so if anything comes around I'll send a LETTER to keep you all updated. I never know when i might NEED the HELP.
>>
>>56204125
>But I guess there's a FIRST time for everything, so if anything comes around I'll send a LETTER to keep you all updated. I never know when i might NEED the HELP.

>>
>>56204226
Beg your pardon, nothing is wrong, evrything isi as it is memeantant to be be be, perfectly safe. Little thing I do sometimes for absolutely no significant reason, YOU know. A quirk you pick up living with the GUYS out in the styx, we all have something a little off about us. Can't say it has any real purpose. Kills the boredom a little.

Look, I'm just rambling I guess. Actually I guess I'm pretty thankful that nothing out here has come to SUCK out my soul and feed it to some unHOLY monstrosity only for it to SHIT it back out into some shambling abomination. Maybe I'm just being as irresponsible and foolhardy as I usually am that tends to get me in way over my head. But nevertheless, it's not like there's some GREAT CATASTROPHE and WE'RE ALL GOING TO DIE or anything, so who am I to complain.

Well there's your problem. Get the priest to bless a scouring pad and start abrading away the flesh, letting the scraps fall into the Holy Water/Chlorox mix. Once you're down to the bone crush it to dust and pour that into the mix too. If the mix starts luminescing in any way add more Holy Water till it stops then start over with a fresh mix.
Oh and you'll want to wear proper PPE, demon fumes are no joke and slashes will burn like mad and leave nasty scarring.

I need some advice. Halloween was a pretty uneventful night, oddly enough, for my quaint little slice of country nowhere, I think it might have something to do with the skeletons that are leaning up against bronze poles that line the hills, creepy crawlies don't seem to take too kindly to getting near them. But the night was not totally without event. These little shitheads showed up that night, and they have been there since Halloween, just dancing in a circle and singing in their gross demon language. They havn't done fuck all else, and vanish during the day, but as soon as the sun goes down they show back up. I've gone out and tried to chase them off but they come right back to dancing like little assholes, just in a different spot, they started in my drive way but now they are dancing in my garden. They havn't made any threatening actions, but they are pissing me off, what do I do to get rid of them?

When I showed it the front door it rushed out like a dog chasing a cat, snatched up a shade that was lurking on my porch and ate it just like that, kind of surprised how quick the thing acts. Now it's run off towards the forest to the south of my mansion, I'm contemplating if I should follow after it, after all it is a one of a kind, ancient entity that has been sleeping under my mansion for decades...but I also really don't want to go out, it's cold. I could hear some pretty nasty screams coming from the forest though, not human, so don't worry about that.

Ran into trouble doing the graveyard shift, someone or something raised the dead, tried doing the norm of just shooting the undead in the head, but that didn't work, as they were quite capable of functioning without their heads, so had to use a liberal amount of fire to rectify the situation via makeshift flamethrower using a water pump, and a 'borrowed' tanker truck.

Desert Hunter here. I'm still in one piece, though I have some new pieces in me.

The old man says "shrapnel builds character" and "having three inches of a six inch long silver plated steel flechette shouldn't slow me down outside of metal detectors."

Turns out aerosolized holy water really does good to slow down the nasties. Father Martin did a lot of good, blessing all those canisters.

The old man's friend who runs the milsurp and gets him his more unusual requests through back channels and war buddies from the military mothball and museum collections, less so.

Fuck you, Frank. Fuck you and your magnesium parachute flares, your clever "let's set claymores with silver plated ball bearings, it'll work great" plan, the M79 you neglected to mention bringing, and fuck you most of all for spilling your coffee on the goddamn radio base unit.

If I didn't know with absolute certainty that you were anything other than a world class fuck up, I would think you were actively trying to get me killed.

Silver jacketed bullets and the old long handled viking axe (thrice consecrated, first to the old norse gods, then buried under the step of one of the first christian churches for a few hundred years 'til some black metal kids burned it down, and a third time by Father Martin before the eve began) worked perfectly until midnight. When the big stuff rose from the shadows in the canyons. Frank's goddamn/blessed claymores worked, but he forgot they ricochet. Notched my ear and a few others grazed me. In hitting the switches, he knocked the coffee over and shorted the radio.

As I was pulling old Sküll Büster (fuck off, I thought it was funny. Unfortunately, my mentor did too, and used his old wood burning inscription kit to make the name a tad permanent) from what looked like a mass of stitched together stomaches of corpses of men who drowned, something else began to arise.
>>
>>56208324
It "flowed" for lack of a better way to put it, together from all the side canyons and deep shadows. It was like boiling rancid grease mixed with the kind of really unpleasant clay you always find on your boots after a night spent doing graveyard work. Crumbly and dry, but still unpleasant to the touch.

It started taking the shape of something substantially larger than me, in a "look! It is Godzilla" way. Like the stalwart guardian against the ever encroaching things of evil my mentor taught me to be, I turned on my heels and ran like a scalded cat.

Good Father Martin saw on the old man's inexplicably useful man portable modified an pps5 radar ("helldar") that something fuck-huge had appeared. The last canister shell of holy water had been fired. So, my concerned mentor told his oldest and most trusted friend Frank to send me the warning that he was going to switch to the silver-plated steel flechette canister rounds. A modified version of those they used in viet nam to clear large areas of jungle.

A fact some of you might find useful someday: Nitro fused magnesium nautical parachute flares are designed to be seen from dozens of miles away.

A second useful fact: When launched at an angle towards the intended signal recipient, they tend to burst into a pure white radiance outstripping the violent end of the sun going nova, several hundred feet from the ground, instead of the intended thousand feet.

Yeah, since Frank felt the urgency of the situation, after having shorted the radio, he felt that creating his own personal "star in the east" would be an adequate signal for me to retreat. I still see spots when I close my eyes. On the positive side of things, apparently monsterous hulking satan spawn are just as susceptable to light that welds your eyes to the back of your skull. I tripped over fuck-knows-what after I was blinded. The flechette round burst in that big fuckers face. I got one lodged in my left ass cheek.
>>
Okay, good news is I've got a new (temporary) hand. Not my preferred cast but it'll have to do. Bad news is fog's rolling in and I'm not sure about some of the locals here. If anyone's in the vicinity of St Mary's I think I'm going to need back up.

>>
>>56202408
Oh, you "found" THE Book of Horus? Must have been some really rare find in the way back of an antiquer, or an old sea chest?

That's 9 times out of 10 a trap by Set. Try using any incantation and you're as likely to find your tongue turning to sand as you are discovering a new infestation of shadowy figures in your basement. It's meant to troll would be white necromancers like yourself. You might even find yourself losing an eye as an extra twist of the deific knife.

If anyone is going to find an actual Book of Horus, they would know to look among a bunch of nice paperbacks at a Goodwill, at the estate auction of a kindly old professor who lived to 120, or among the decorative scrolls at a small but fiercely proud public museum's one Egyptian exhibit. Good books have the good sense not to hang out hastily unearthed clay jars, morIbund universities, and black libraries.

Look, it's your fault if a white book doesn't feel like dessicating in a mausoleum for eternity waiting for some dark magician to effortlessly slay the temple guards and claim it for themselves. It's just not going to stay put, even if you do enshrine it in an admittedly nice marble casket. The book is going to find its way out on its own terms anyway unless you put down some nice carpeting, let a little sunlight in, and surround it with other wholesome books and LIVING readers to make it feel comfortable. Maybe some cats. Old books are like old men, very stubborn even when pandered to.

Ok, here it goes:
I'm not sure I believe any of this bullshit, you guys all sound like crazy and bored rednecks going about guns and having some fucked up shared alucination, but I'm running out of options.
My sister started going to this new age cult her pothead friends convinced her to go where they go naked to the woods and use a lot of drugs. I never really cared about this, but once she started eating raw wood and chanting at midnight it started to get on my nerves. She started acting strangely about two months ago, selling her stuff to buy old books and crafting material. Her room looks more like a shaman cave, strange numbers and drawings on the wall. Last week, some of the people on her cult ended up dead and she didn't even flinch at the news. I tried talking to a priest, but when he came to our home she just kicked his ass and has been locked on her room since then, leaving only at night to get more wood to eat.
Yesterday, my uncle (wich i haven't met since I was a kid) shows up from nowhere and gives me a fucking sword and a link to this thread before getting back on his van and going god knows where again.
So... what do you guys think? What kind of fucked up explanation can you come up with? I might be inclined to believe, but I'm really skeptical right now but I can't really pay for a psychiatrist and I doubt she would come willingly.

>>
>>56214854

Fuck, why can't I have just a single year without people going crazy around here?

Well, we survived OK over here. Severe lack of guns because Britain but it turns out that a bunch of improvised chemical grenades worked almost as well. The physicist is dead, my Bio team and the chem guys are out of resources until we can nick some more and the assorted actually armed boys and girls are hiding out for a few days, but otherwise we're good.

Bogstandard acid did jack shit to ghouls, but nitrogen dioxide poisoning worked rather well after we managed to trap the necromancer in his "atmospheric crypt" for a couple hours and concentrated alkali dealt with the slimes even if the poor sod who tried baking soda didn't last long.

Resting in Norway. I lost a hand to some unspeakable horror. But hey, the new robot hand showed up this morning. So that's nice.
>>
>>56215461
Yeah, we have other teams for that. Based in a old uni, so a surprising number of the ghosts are helpful when you explain what's going on and they haven't given wrong advice yet. We leave the religion to the humanities departments most times, since knowing exactly what's in all the weird rituals and how they shouldn't work seems to dilute the effect and they have more men than we do. Still, it's a lot less bad here in the bigger towns than it was out in the country before I moved.
>>
>>56200310
Don't answer this... any smart demon hunter knows this a famous tactic for undead to draw in new prey
>>
>>56215510
Yeah, if you're the lot I think you are you're doing good work. Your ritualists tend to be arseholes who think they can sort magic out and work out it's rules but that's not uncommon nowadays.

We stopped holding meetings because they take forever to arrange and we got ambushed half the time, and killed each other the other half.
Still, next time I'm in the states I'll swing by mate. I know a lot of shit went down back then but we need to stick together aye?
>>
>>56215547
There's a reason the hard science people don't do that bit, we're worse because we won't subconsciously accept stuff only working empirically. Train yourself to catch biases and inconsistencies for years and you can't doublethink properly when you need the blasted things. We were expecting worse than we got, something appears to have mysteriously deleted the vamp coven we were patrolling against and none of the other groups have owned up to it yet. Made the few physics and engineering people we have left paranoid, they haven't stopped setting up new sensors since then.

Are you bringing up ol' shit with the killing each other at meetings? I tell you that group of kids and their dog were about to turn undead. The tall one and his dog had eyes redder than the incubus eyes from the hunt in '93. The blonde and the gals were making groaning noises after drinking from my water jub.

Sounds pretty odd to me. Wasn't a territorial clash since they're messy as fuck so either they got desperate and tried a ritual which backfired, got wind of your op and squirreled away into the cracks or someone came in silently and cleared em up and left.
I'd have to see it to be sure but the first even you guys would be able to tell, it's unlikely that they'd slip your net and I can't think of anyone who'd be capable of -

Hey kid, you got vampires? Garlic helps. I could teach you a thing or two. Dynamite, for example, can colla-burrrrrp-pse caverns and such.
>>
>>56216399
Vampires are really not the problem, we had those dealt with. Managed to cook up some concentrated allicin nonsense over a few days, which makes for good poison crossbow bolts regardless of where you hit them. Problem is that all the vamps are mysteriously gone and we have no idea what they did and/or what the fuck did it to them.

Well, we have recently discovered the wonders of FOOF in a stasis spell. Always nice to have some kind of superweapon on hand and it's unlikely any of the older creatures will know enough chemistry to not blow their faces off.
>>
>>56216399
It's a tribute? Makes sense, I'd always wondered why it was so strong. You've always had ridiculously solid convictions
>>56216523
I've had a very brief scan through my journals and did some quick and dirty bone readings. If it's who I think it is, there's gonna be trouble, but probably not for you yet.

Could just be being paranoid but better safe than sorry.
>>
>>56216605
Oh, excellent, more heavyweights. Thanks a bunch, and we're on call if you need some extra bodies for anything or any particularly esoteric reagents we might be able to dig up. We may be poor fighters without prep time, but you'd be surprised who you can get to know at academic conferences.
>>
>>56216523
No powder or traces left? They leave dust after a good old stake. Trap doors? Underground places with enough stone can block out your signal thingy.

Only thing else that comes to mind is an idea my old pappy had. Strap vampires in tubes to cables and dribble blood from a large creature that regenerates it fast. Then you get a big battery. You'd need to kidnap a lot of those bitey fucks

Is security still tight? Last time they tried to take my pistol, Betsy.
>>
>>56216753
Gotcha, we'll lay low for a while and build up our assorted explosive stocks in the meantime. Surprisingly few monsters can survive clinging 1500 degree fire and/or C2N14 in supernatural quantities suddenly appearing in their orifice of choice, and if that doesn't work it's onto the weird stuff. No good against the "you need magical weapons" stuff and 2/3 of our would-be ritualists were recently found smeared across a very nice old library, but hey, know when to fold 'em.

Well, the manufacturing process for the first resort is "mix pressurized oxygen and fluorine at 700 degrees in a very specific plastic tank washed several times with strong acid" and it tends to blow up the meters we used to work out exactly how explosive it is. Managed to blow up methane on contact at -180 degrees, and the other stuff is worse. We couldn't come close to handling this stuff in these quantities without stasis spells, so we can't exactly post it.

Run this through the usual decrypts and it should give you a code. Send that to Hangzhou Sage Chemical and a friend of mine will sort out a standard order's worth, although you'll have to send us the passcode on the case and a sitrep to get us to unlock it remotely. Slightly paranoid with chemicals that blow up so hard that you can't even measure the colour of the explosion before it wrecks the infrared spectrometer.

That's a preta. They're the spirit of someone that was to much of an asshole to reincarnate as a human but not enough of one to wind up in hell. They're cursed with constant hunger, but usually its for humiliating things like feces or corpses. They're not exactly dangerous, can even be pretty useful to have around depending on what they're craving, but it's best to keep them away from super young children and the elderly. Like if you found it hanging around a hospice, move it somewhere else.

Okay, so I was fumbling around in my pack for my alchemist's fire only to realize that I had already wasted it all in an incident I don't want to talk about. In that time, the creature was already gone, so I headed on home to get some rest. I checked my things again when I got home to find that my food pack's torn a hole. At least I still have my whiskey, though in hindsight I could've probably used it to burn the critter. Ah well, a toast to my failures. Bottoms-up.

>molten form

Managing to make it even that stable would be a hell of an accomplishment. Keep as cold as possible and maybe dilute a little so it doesn't instantly explode when you try to throw it after the mix up. If that doesn't work then I'll crack out the big guns from the dead physics department. Massconserving transfiguration-powered electron railgun was his last project, and that thing fires a lightning plasma blast so overpowered they called it God's Sparkplug.

Update on the knight situation. Lost track of the first knight I woke up last night, searched for him in the woods for a few hours then gave up and went home. Woke up this morning to find it standing guard outside the mansion, so apparently it wandered back after...I guess filling it's belly? I dunno how these guys work. Just to be safe I woke up a second one, he was a little less voracious as his comrade, and came back after two hours in the woods. I still don't get why these things survive off of eating demons and spirits, but I won't question it as long as they do what they are supposed to do. I have the second knight patrolling the town to quell any problems. There eleven more knights down here, but I don't think I need to wake the rest of them up, yet that is.

Oh I am. My grandpa taught me about them when I was just a kid. He said his own grandpa 'obtained' the thirteen knights, called them The Circle of Iron Nails, and using some magic he bound the knights in service to our family, as guardians and servants. Gramps told me as long as I had his blood running through my veins the knights would obey me if I woke them up, but I aint gonna just rely on old magic so I did put some precautions up in case these big fellas got some old secrets.

I had to kill her. After you guys told me to kill her I called a friend for a intervention after she went for a walk, but when she came back she had the whole neighborhood dogs following her. They stormed the house and I had the use the sword my uncle gave me. I have no idea if that thing died, i just grabed what i could and set the gas on the kitchen to explode. I'm currently parked under a bridge and the police is searching for me. Fuck. My friend is dead, my house is burning and whatever was using my sister should be burning with it. Took a nasty bite as a reminder.

I blame the influx of newbies who got into the business after the Witcher games. They know what makes a good sword, but couldn't tell a good crossbow from a bad one if it hit them in the face.

Anyone know some old-timer merchants or weaponsmiths in the frozen north realms? (Canadafag here)
>>
>>56219383
Try messaging the dragon they have up north. Sure he'll ask for an odd price but he's on our side (relatively) and his strings last forever along with the positive effects.
>>
>>56219339
Huh. That's odd.
My daughter took one look at that image, and said something about messing them up, before running off somewhere yelling about "that damn cat bastard fucking up again." Do you have history with my daughter?

>>56219365
Hmm...Now, i have an idea - and you'll owe me a keg of rum cola for this - but you could ask Artemis about his organ garden. Tell him i gave you the tip, he'll trust you then.

>>56219383
Don't know if it's still in business, but the Bulwark Brothers make this really rockin' bowstring from a mix of spider silk, orichalcon wire and sturdy copper.
>>
>>56219365
thanks, I always feel like the best thing to do in the downtimes is stock up on supplies and resources, look for the slow and quiet plans of the enemy, document and share information with others in the know, especially trying to find newbies who, admittedly, are the first line of defense against some threats. Finding and giving assistance to some poor bastard who has no idea who knows whats going on is necessary. If only there were more of us compared to the old days.....
>>
>>56219452
>>56219365
Don't take Artemis' prosthetics lads, they ruin you in the end
>>
>>56219524
He's moved on from prosthethics to grafts, though. Did that before he started working on that skinwalker cure.
>>
>>56219524
Speaking from experience?
>>
>>56219550
Regardless, I'll stick with hallowed wood.
>>
>>56219557
Lost a good mate back in the day
>>
>>56219432
>>56219452
So I either have to go on a long trip to one of the most dangerous and inhospitable locales in the realm, or try making a deal with the Bulwark Brothers without getting fleeced for every penny.

Damn. Guess I better pack my bags and warm clothing. Had a scarf of warmth around here somewhere...

But seriously, the Bulwark Brothers are masters of haggling. I'd rather see the dragon and risk freezing on the way there.
>>
>>56219613
The dragon will want something weird but since he's generally on our side it'll be fair
>>
>>56219557
Mate of mine got absorbed
>>56219593
Lad here had the same experience
>>
>>56219579
That's not an entirely good idea either. There was this old veteran i studied under, and one day his hallowed wood pegleg just up and burst to full sprout.
Sure, it killed ten score of high-end demons, but it also literally exploded what was left of his leg.
Since then, he's been real bitter towards all druids, hippies and greenpeace activists. And especially the local god of harvest.

But, i'ma go to bed. Maybe my daughter's back by tomorrow. Hey, white cat thingy! Keep an eye on this girl in platinum suit for me, 'k?

>>56219613
...Now, this is technically against our contract, but...if you mention my name (still Isaiah) they'll give you a discount. Pacified their forge demon a few years back, i did.

Checking in. Attention, morons: CROSSES DO NOT WORK ON ASWANG, JIANG-SHI, BIOLOGICAL VAMPIRES, TOO MANY FUCKING VARIANTS TO COUNT

As usual, if you use the 'well you're a vampire, you can heal from it', A) it's aswang you fucking white boy B) i bet if I fucking 'accidentally shot you' (which i can't because I'm not fucking blind unlike half of you) you'd be screaming to all your fucking buddies 'help help an evil monster shot me' and half the city would be out for me.

Not at all, good Hunter. We suspect however that a Rogue Unit of ours has been plaguing the universe for quite a while now, after it escaped some time before we could have it destroyed. If you ever see a creature resembling our preferred form, please notify us immediately.

Alright, so I sometimes get called by concerned citizens to help with some little monster problems here and there. No big deal, I go in, clean house and the world is none the wiser

But a few days ago one of my more "concerned" customers tried to get in contact with me about a vampire problem or something. But shit happens and I wasn't in the office that day. So the guy left me a message and said he found some other guys from Alabama? Any way I figure I better check on the guy, see if he still needs my help, y'know good customer relations and all that.

So I call him back and he hands the phone to one of those Bama guys. Owen something? Anywho, this guy tells me they've got everything under control. So, yeah I don trust that one bit.

Anyway I get to my customers town (little sleepy thing, maybe 400 souls) and THE WHOLE FUCKING TOWN IS EITHER ON FIRE, DESTORYED BY WHAT LOOKED LIKE HEAVY ARTILLERY. Also there were Werewolves scratchmarks all over this shit.Werewolves!? In this part of the fucking country? So long story short, my client is dead and those Alabama Hillbilly fucks owe me some sort of Explanation/Apology

Only hint I found on them was this patch. You guys ever heard of this company, cause I sure as fuck did not.
>>
>>56200296
okay, back from the forest, there were quite the few monsters there, but no cat thing.

Desert Hunter here.

Something tex posted earlier reminded me of a question I had, and given all the experience here, maybe I can get an answer. The old man just gives me a look when I ask him. Harker may be a hell of a hunter (only reason things went as smooth as they did was his insistance on being prepared. For what? When I ask that he just laughs at me and says that is what. Just be prepared.) but that old bastard can be tight lipped.

Is there a connection between the Wild Hunt(s) of Europe and the Ghost Riders In The Sky of the US southwest? I don't know about how things go elsewhere in the world, but they seem to be on our side. They usually turn up around all hallows, solstices, etc. Tend to chase down anything truly demonic. It's a (literal) hell of a thing to see.

The last few all hallows, I've seen em running the sky, way up like a small, swift cloud. Didn't see them this time. At all. When I asked Father Martin about it, he gave me an odd look. Asked what I was talking about. Hasn't spoken to me since.

Any ideas?

>>
>>
>>56220439
D.H. etc.

They're half the reason I'm in this business. That's a story for another time.

What I want to know is do the Wild Hunts elsewhere chase down hellspawn? Do they intervene at all in this world?

Most importantly: Where did they go this past all hallows? Did the Hunts not appear elsewhere in the world?

Old man Harker told me I was seeing things when I asked him about it after he took me in. Said I must have taken a harder blow to the head than he thought. Is it just not discussed? Does no one else actually see them? Are they the same as the Hunt or something different?

Father Martin came back a short while ago, said he had something for me. Big old package of oilcloth. It was a mideval shield, battered, still mostly painted white. Told me is was from the "Order of Saint George" (never heard of that, and it wasn't in the old man's books) and that it might be useful if we face things like night before last again. I swear the old man's setting me up, using me as a pawn or bait or something.
>>
>>56220840
The order of st George? You should be honoured, he believes in you.
Look, don't worry about wild hunts, you'll understand in a couple of decades or after your death

Hey, puti puto, prayers and thinking you shoot better if you think you do don't fucking work on biological vampires or werewolves. They're BIOLOGICAL for a reason. Unless the fucking virus or bacteria or prion or whatever is fucking hexed, you're not doing shit.

And you're probably smiting most monsters because, wow, .50 bullets tend to push through heads as well as .50 bullets with fuckin' Jesus on them.

meh, could be its prophet or pharaoh form, no worries until confirmation dude; just trust him if it's a magician and don't believe his lies if he's a pretentious fuck usurpating his father's authority again, simple as that.
If the crawling chaos is really out for fun then I can't think of a plan to banish him that wouldn't end with reality getting crazily severed, maybe forcing him to return to the dreamlands with some godly bait using the already existing gates on earth? anyone have contacts with the few remaining ascended humans in there to lure him?
