Boy, apple doesn't fall far from the tree. The baby looks just like his dad. Spiky hair, even his face seems to mirror it. Though in contrast to Vegeta's, it seems... slightly softer. The moment you step in, though, it's like trying to walk through a pool full of custard. The tension would need a chainsaw to cut through it.

"Tuffle." Vegeta seethes out, eye almost piercing you with his glare. "Why. Are. You. Here."

"I asked her to come, Vegeta." Shao says weakly. "Hey Maple, Goku. Ah... and your kids, huh?"

Peppa glares at the Saiyan prince, but then looks up curiously at the baby in bed with his mother. She has this look of confusion on her face. "Buh... two a' them?"

"That's his son, sweetie." you tell her. You sit down next to Shao. "So, took the advice I gave you?"

She nods. "It was... probably easier, since I only this lil' guy here, but... ow. Pretty sure I could've lost a leg from his struggling."

"A fighter, like a proper Saiyan." Vegeta comments.

The man stands and glares at the Saiyan. "My daughter nearly broke her hips and-?!"

"D-dad, please. Let him rest." Shao asks, gently patting her son.

He remains silent, a judging glare directed at you. The man stands again, trembling. "You wouldn't dare-!"

"Dad." Shao breathes out. "Please, not now."

"Vegeta, really, it's your son-"

"I'm aware." he grunts. "...I didn't ask for it, but I'm aware."

Shao's dad looks like he's about to start hurling insults, but to everyone's surprise, it's Peppa that approaches him. "...You be a good dad. Don't leave him."

Vegeta and Nappa stare at her blankly, the Saiyan prince breathing out a "What?" as she goes back to her father. He shakes his head. "Tch. Maybe. But I will not have any influences corrupt the boy's upbringing." he nearly spits out, directing his glare at you.

"...ah, but, I was kinda hoping to have her and Goku be Godparents."

"NO." Vegeta finally shouts. "Keep his upbringing free of that bitch's corrupting influence. Do that and you have my word, I will make sure he is taken care of. Raised properly."

Shao's turn to be angry at him. "That's not fair!"

Peppa looks up at you, worried, as you continue. "None at all. But think you can win this bet? In addition to our previous bet, I'll fulfill your wishes, provided you beat me in the Tournament."

He laughs. "You continue to dig your own grave, Tuffle. I-"

"But, if you lose? You're going back on that demand."

"...you're too confident for your own good, Tuffle. I'll make sure everyone on this planet knows the price of defying me. You have your bet. Because I'm not going to lose." He stands. "Let's get ready, Nappa."

"Sure, just a moment, Vegeta." he replies. Vegeta leaves the room, and to your surprise, Nappa approaches you... then sighs, quietly mumbling at you once Vegeta's out of earshot, "...I hate myself for asking this, but please. No more of these bets."

"W-what?!" you and Goku gasp out simultaneously.

"I don't ask out of any respect for you. Either of you. I ask this because Prince Vegeta has spent too much time on this planet. He's losing his edge. He's losing the bigger picture. You've hurt his pride. And the more injuries he takes, the more determined he'll be to try and correct them. The longer he'll stay here." He makes the last sentence sound more like a threat.

You sigh. "Fine. No more, you've made your request clear. But... Nappa, there's something more to this, isn't there?"

"...I've talked with enough of your allies, Tuffle, to know there's another corrupting bitch to watch out for." he says grimly. "I've served Vegeta too long to risk him falling into a trap set by her."

...Towa. Of course. "Then... we'll work to keep that from happening."

Next thread I'm planning on the Tournament, and going along with the Junior Division idea. More importantly, this means two things:

First, explaining the dice system that will be used for it. It will be using the same system from my Secret Princess Zelda Quest, which works as follows:

System is now based on a d10, best of three situation, but there can be multiple actions taken per turn, up to five (maximum of 3 rolls of 5d10). More actions mean higher DC, but better payoff. Actions include dodging and blocking; it's recommended to pay attention to enemy movements to know when to best attack and counterattack. Critical (10) on attack options means double-damage, defense options means enemy knocked off-guard. DC is also influenced by what enemies you are facing.

Stronger foes have naturally higher DC than weaker ones, and vice versa.

Example of a round:

Peppa and Gohan are facing each other. Peppa focuses on blocking Gohan's next attacks, countering with the Ki Jan Ken, and finishing with a Kamehameha. That means the rolls are 3d10, best of three, with a DC of 5 for all rolls. If Peppa only chooses defending and the Ki Jan Ken, 2d10, DC 4 for all rolls. If instead of a Ki Jan Ken she opts for a Wind-boosted Geist Magnum, 3d10, but DC is 6.

This all making sense?
