Recently: You've escape your cell with Violet, retrieved both of your teams (minus Mewtwo) and met up with your friends.

General rules:

There is a 10 minute voting period after each post. Non-contradictory votes will be combined as best as possible.

Write-ins for all votes are always welcome and encouraged. They may not all make it into the post or be altered to fit in, but I'll do my best to at least try to address the spirit of the write-in.

Very important or contentious votes may be redone in a stricter voting system as it comes up.

Combat involves rolls! Once there's a clear vote winner, we roll for the move accuracy/crit/secondary effect. Usually it's just three 1d100s. Sometimes you can get a modifier from circumstances, so be creative! Add flair, do tricks with moves, mess with terrain, whatever! This is not a video game. Weak moves tend to be quicker.

Call me out on a mistake and receive an apology butt or suggestive picture.

Badges: 10

Alright, time to kick Hornbeam ass once and for all.
>>
You’re assaulted from all sides. It’s a hopeless situation. Your senses are just overwhelmed. You can barely see or hear anything that you can make sense of.

And it’s great! Your Pokemon and human friends hug, kiss, and lick you.

“Nice to see you, Kat.” Geno’s unjudging voice cuts through. “Robin.”

Robin looks up at the crowd of spectators. Gym leaders and the Elite Four. She gets up, brushes herself off, pulls you up, and coughs. “Alright people. Show’s over. Main unit, keep advancing. Reserves, watch the rear. Nice and steady, but keep that pace up. Remember, we have people on the outside that are counting the seconds. Move out!”

Wow! She is commanding.

The group gets into gear and Robin turns back to you. She looks terrified but giddy. She breathes and forces it away. “There’s a PC box with the others. You can switch your team there if you need.” Robin grabs your shoulder. “Just a little more, and we’ll set everything right.”

“Robin.” Violet greets her cautiously.

“Former champion Violet.” Robin grabs your hand and starts walking back to the main group.

Violet still isn't over it and will probably need a second defeat to understand that Robin is actually better than her, but now's not the time for that.

Also, how much time were we locked up? Robin sure has changed.

I think playing as Green in FR:LG makes the story between her and her rival more interesting, since Blue's alpha douchebag personality is now less about dominance and more about charming his way into Green's skirt.
It'd probably work too if Blue could actually win some battles against her.

You decide to stay out of it.

“What happened with your eye?”

“Huh? O-oh, right. I’ve been modifying it and I didn’t really have time to make it look good.” She lifts it up. It’s honestly not that bad, but it is noticeable. “P-plus I think it helps with getting people to listen to me. It makes it look like I’ve seen some s-s-sh-poop.”

Dalsim turns around to face her.

“Eyes front! Don’t let your guard down.”

He jumps at the order. “Yes ma’am.”

“When did this happen?” You whisper to Clair.

“I know right. Isn’t it hot?” She composes herself. “She went a bit overboard when you got captured.

It’s only been a few weeks. Granted, they’ve been really long weeks, but you guess people change at the pace of life, not time.

The main group as a PC and some sort of other device on the back of a Torterra. Electric pokemon work to power it.

“We’ve got a machine that stops Hornbeams mind invasions. At least, in a big enough radius to keep us safe.”

That’s a relief.

You’ll probably have a few minutes before reaching Hornbeams vaulted room. You don’t know what you’re going to face, but you’ll probably want a wide variety of options to deal with it.

You swap Levi and Raistlin for Oberon and Fel.

You look around. “Hey, where’s Vance and Jeanine? And all the others?”

“We split up, just in case there’s a trap or something. They’re taking the secret back tunnel.” Clair rolls her eyes.

“Not a fan of this plan?”

She keeps her voice down. “Just worried.” She hugs your arm quickly. “I’m sick of everyone I care about being in danger.”

You smile back.

“Ugh. Gross. You really need a shower.” Clair pushes away.

“I tried to tell her that earlier.” Violet walks ahead.

You reach a huge, reinforced vault door. It’s the main lab.

The group turns to Zoe, one of the Team Imperium members from the temple that’s been helping. “There was a smaller, weaker one here before. He must have activated a secret security measure or something.”

There’s a rush of noise coming from the back. “We’ve got company!”

A swarm of Pokemon start pouring down the hall towards your group.

“What do we do?”

Robin thinks. “Reserve team. Time to shine. Remember our drills. Careful with sound moves in the tunnels.” She turns her attention back to the vault.

The rest of the group takes a defensive position. They’re cautious and ready to back up anyone that gets overwhelmed.

“Porygon!” You say.

Of course!” She looks to Professor Fir. He nods.

Instead of using the Pokedex like you expected, she grabs a cable from her pocket, sticks one end in her eye, and the other into the terminal.

“He’s been helping with it. You should see her eye laser now. It’s-”

He ducks as an attack comes by. You throw out Fel to help with Tailwind and powders. You take it a little easy since you don’t want to mess with the teamwork of the unit, but your help makes a difference.

“We’re in!” The huge vault door starts opening.

Fir stops at the console. “Porygon! Use the electrical grid and get out of here!”

It’s huge and dark inside. You, Robin, Clair, Violet, Fir, Schechena, and Geno get through before there’s a crash behind you. A huge Pokemon came through the side wall and is attacking the others from behind.

Lugia.

“Go! Close the door!” Alex yells. “Stop Hornbeam!”

Geno, Schechena, and Clair move to go back and help the group.

It’s the wildest idea you’ve had in a long time, but if it works...

Damn. You don’t have one. But you’re part of a team. “Does anyone have a quick ball?”

Clair stops mid-run. “What? Sure.” She grabs a ball from her bag and tosses it to you. She knows time is a factor for whatever you’re planning. You didn’t expect her to toss it to you, but that works.

You catch it and throw it through it.

“That’s your plan!” Clair looks furious.

It goes over Schechena’s head, passed Geno’s ear, through the vault door and under an Ice Beam. Lugia is no ordinary Pokemon, though. It turns to deflect the pitiful attempt to capture it with a psychic barrier. But the ball carries like a curveball on the wind and zips up and over, hitting it squarely in the head.

The Legendary Pokemon vanishes in a ball of light. The fight comes to a seeming standstill as the ball hits the ground. It wiggles.

Wiggles.

Wiggles.

No. No way.

Click.

The ball vanishes in a ball of light since you have six on you.

The team fighting doesn’t have much time to celebrate, but there are clear shouts of victory. They start a fighting retreat through the vault door now that they have their back covered. You’ve just made this a million times easier.

“My ball! That was my ball!” Clair tries and fails to announce to everyone over the sounds. Clair knows the rules for this sort of thing. Lending a Pokeball doesn’t give you ownership over the caught Pokemon.

Like as a Legendary Pokemon its opinion probably has weight, and might consider it to be like the will of Arceus or whatever.

Now if it doesn't really have much opinion of us one way or the other, we can discuss trading it.

“What did you think I was going to use it for?”

Clair raises a finger and opens her mouth, but her expression changes. “Well. I- You could have a plan where...”

She shakes her head as you run forward. She’s terrified, you can tell, but she’s masking it. “You’re such a butt.”

You stop as the room lights up.

Hornbeam has his helmet on and he’s fiddling with some controls and beakers. He’s behind some sort of clear plastic or glass wall across the huge open lab.

“Just need a little more time!” He mutters to himself. Mewtwo is unconscious beside him, hooked up in some sort of tube. There are wires hooked up to it.

What really concerns you are the massive cages in the room to the sides. Huge, two story tall cages rippling with electricity. You think you can see huge Pokemon in them, but they flicker in and out. What you see in the closest one reminds you of Dialga, though.

In the center of the room is a huge platform. Machines with antennas point towards it, like he’s going to summon something. Violet narrows her eyes.

Hornbeam looks up from his work to see you and your group. Specifically you and Robin. “You two.”

Clair throws up her shoulders. “Seriously? Come on.” Nobody seems to hear her.

“Why are you fighting me? Do you even know what I’m planning to do? Do you even care?” His voice projects through speakers from behind his plastic wall.

Robin leans close. “The other team should be sneaking in the back.”

“I’ll destroy that little toy that keeps me out of your head in a moment, but first I want you to understand why you’re so wrong.”

The group crowds around the Torterra with the device.

>>
You see it. The outline of something awe inspiring. It’s not totally here, but part of it is.

Arceus.

“Why should they have so much power? Are humans not the masters of Pokemon? Is that not the title you squabble over?” He starts gesturing and walking. You take this opportunity to take out your flute and softly play.

“It’s a cosmic injustice, isn’t it? That one species is delegated to constantly support the other. To live their lives worrying about the other.”

“You’re right about that,” Violet interjects. Her Pokemon viciously growl in his direction.

You keep playing.

Hornbeam smiles down at her condescendingly. “It won’t matter what small minded philosophy you try to push. A Pokemon is just a Pokemon, and they all work the same way. These ones might be more powerful, but the basics behind capturing and controlling them must be the same. With human ingenuity, I’ve found how to rewrite the very rules of our universe. I’ll take their gifts and put it to good use for everyone. Imagine a world where humans can do everything that Pokemon can. Where they no longer have a reason to be catered to. In fact, maybe I’ll just not have them exist any more at all.”

The figure flickers into view again. You hear terrible pained noises from the two cages. Mewtwo reaches out and does something to keep them from fighting too hard. Row upon row of psychic Pokemon in cages behind him light up as they help.

You close your eyes and play. By now the sound is echoing and he finally starts paying attention to it.

Arceus’s outline flickers away and is replaced with Dialga’s. The mighty time god appears directly on the platform in all of it’s full presence.

Time slows to a crawl.

“What! No. What did you do? It wasn’t designed for this!”

Robin looks around the facility again. A realization hits her. “It’s like a massive, super powered master ball.”

(continued)
>>
>>49051343
Like honestly depending on how Gobble interprets this, we could have just auto-failed the whole fucking quest by giving Hornbeam control over time.

The machine activates and hit’s Dialga. It roars through your memories. The plastic protecting him shatters and the cages burst open. He ducks and keeps working. The figures in the other cages become more clear. Giratina and Palkia. You can’t let the awe of all this get to you, though.

“Fools! This isn’t what I wanted, but I have all the time in the world to do as I please!” There’s an audible amount of concern in his voice despite his words.

The aspects of Palkia and Giratina that are both here and not here begin fighting in confusion. Just watching it for a second is like looking at impossible shapes come to life. You're just glad they're not turning their attention to you.

He furiously works his console now, re-calibrating and adjusting his plans. “Mewtwo! Destroy that device that protects them from me! Summon everyone!" Something explodes near him. "Also, protect me.”

A new flood of Pokemon rushes over the defenders in the back. The facility erupts into chaos as Dialga fights to keep the machines from capturing it.

Because of it’s incredible status and power, and not being the Pokemon Hornbeam was going for, Dialga is able to put up some resistance to being fully captured and controlled.

Aria kicks a Pokemon that flies at you. It’s total chaos. Everything is going wrong for everyone. Violet rushes ahead.

Geno looks horrified. “If the legends about Giratina are true, we have to stop it. It’s supposed to rage out of control at anything outside of it’s realm.”

Violet runs to Mewtwo. Her Pokemon surround her and protect her as she rests a hand on it’s tube.

You decide to help Dialga.

“Devon! Oberon! Destroy those antennas!”

Devon fires a Fire Blast at one and weakens it. They’re surprisingly sturdy. Oberon finishes it off with a slash. You have Dan and Destiny run interference to cover them and yourself. Fel supports with powders.

They explode and Dialga pulses out an energy blast that hits both Pokemon. They recover quickly. You can’t tell if that was intentional on not, though.

“Keep going, guys! You’re doing great!”

Oberon moves slowly, but Devon is hasted. With each antenna broken, Dialga is able to fight back harder. It’s weakening fast, though.

“Last one! Let’s go!”

Devon weakens it out with several fire blasts in a row. Oberon and Aria finish the ray.

Dialga weakly turns to you. It just gives you a look of acknowledgment before rushing to aide Palkia.

“It doesn’t matter,” you hear Hornbeam muttering. It seems he forgot he still has the speakers on. “Data scanned. I can replicate this. It’s all Pokemon. Pokemon all work by the same rules in the end.”

Palkia and the weakened Dialga seem about evenly matched with Giratina, but that could swing in favor of one side or the other at any moment.

You look to your friends around the Torterra. They’re putting up an incredible fight. If you hadn’t stopped Lugia they’d be worn down to nothing by now.

Robin and her Pokemon help Palkia and Dialga against Giratina. She’s not dishing out powerful blows, but she’s able to set the others up for great opportunities.

You decide to go for Hornbeam. The last thing you need is him pulling another trick. Your Pokemon cover you as you rush over. Attacks and Pokemon fly at you, and even a stray beam from Palkia as the mighty beings battle.

Hornbeam sees you coming and stops working. His big helmet flops as turns his head.

“You fool. I’ve always been in control. You’ve been around psychics. You should know that there’s telepathy,” he reaches out a hand and makes a crushing gesture. “And telekinesis.”

You look over to the Torterra. The device on it’s back is crushed.

“Ha! Hahahaha!” He laughs. “I could never be stopped!” He opens his arms wide. “Now. Pokemon! Handle those legendaries until I have this sorted. Humans...” He grins wickedly, locking eyes with you. “Kneel.”

You stand there. Your Pokemon walk up alongside you. You don’t feel any compulsion at all to do what he says. You look at the others. Nobody seems to be doing what he says.

Robin glances back to you as she coordinates the fight against Giratina. Her eye glows hard, like it’s being taxed.

Son of a...that’s the real device!

Hornbeam’s arrogance vanishes. He's still dangerous though. That telekinesis could do something nasty.

He reaches into a pocket.

Playtime is over. At this point we either choose his life or Robin's. If we give him a second he will crush her head like an overripe tomato.
>>
>>49052439
>Have Pokemon incapacitate him
Guys, I don't really think having our pokemon murder someone, even this guy, is the best way of doing things. It might mess them up, also there might be like... laws?
>>
>>49052439

>Have your Pokemon attack. Don’t hold anything back
>>
>>49052520
Anons are way too bloodthirsty even though this hasn't really been that kind of quest.
>>
>>49052520
>>49052537
>>49052523
We spared his life before and look what happened.
>>
>>49052439
>Have Pokemon incapacitate him
All the status effects.
>>
>>49052439
>Tackle him. Hurry!
I don't know, it's possible that he can set up psionic barriers and shit so he actually won't go down easy, but I do not at all think that being torn to shreds by pokemon will end well.

Like they might be legally bound to put down our pokemon. At minimum we'll traumatize them really badly.
>>
>>49052520
Hornbeam genetically made pokemon that constantly feel pain and explode corrosive goop when defeated. Killing him quickly is a mercy.
>>
>>49052439
>Have your Pokemon attack. Don’t hold anything back

Attack alongside them, as well, if possible. We can't ask this of somebody without being willing to do it ourselves.

KILL HORNBEAM.
>>
>>49052439
>Have Pokemon incapacitate him
>>49052542
But that probably isn't needed now. Like even though it won't make us near as bad as he is, it's still a kind of evil thing to do.

Especially since all we need to do is get rid of that helmet.
>>
>have our pokemon kill hornbeam.
>some of these plebs wouldn't go to jail for Robin
>>
>>49052583
>>49052568
How stupid are you people? Do you really think Kat will be able to segue into happy lesbian funtimes with blood on her hands?
>>
>>49052588
Maybe not, but fuck Hornbeam. I don't think anyone will blame us for getting caught up in the moment when GODS ARE FIGHTING ALL AROUND US.
>>
Have Zappy Dan cling to Hornbeam and use explosion. We do have him on us, right?
>>
>>49052604
Not sure if you're serious, but I doubt Hornbeam being alive or dead would affect that at all. Kat doesn't strike me as the type to feel super guilty given what Hornbeam has done.
>>
>>49052630
That is the worst possible thing we could do I think.
>>
>>49052605
Kat will blame herself you fucking chump.

Hornbeam's been a shitty influence on this quest, and you assholes are letting him drag down the epilogue as well just because you don't like him. He can rot in jail just fine.

Honestly you guys are really kind of dumb aren't you?
>>
>>49052588
Mercy is a luxury for when you've already won. Until that point, holding back just increases the risk that we fuck up and lose a fight we could have won.
>>
>>49052643
Feel free to leave pal, if you honestly think this will effect Kat as much as the eye incident or Aria's voice then you are dumb.
>>
>>49052635
She's not a sociopath. Even if Hornbeam is pretty much Poke-Hitler, Kat's still a teenage girl whose never killed anyone before. It'll mess her up, and might mess up how other people see her as well.
>>
>>49052643
Right back at ya. We've tried that. Twice. Do you know the definition of insanity?
>>
>>49052643
All the times Kat held back on killing, it was mooks that weren't really threatening lives at the time. Calling people retards isn't going to convince anyone either.
>>
>>49052439
Wow, shit went to hell, didn't it?

Looks like crisping Hornbeam is going to win though.
>>
>>49052659
>Poke-Hitler
More like Mega Poke-Hitler who was literally harnessing gods to rule the world. If you think killing that person would make people think less of us you are a moron.
>>
[Just to be absolutely sure, do you want to kill Hornbeam? Not just hit him really hard, but straight up kill him with your Pokemon?

You can, and no jury would convict you, but everyone will see. He's at your mercy.]

>kill
>mercy
>>
>>49052439
>Have your Pokemon attack. Don’t hold anything back
>>

Look, this is still a pokemon quest and not a completely edgy/grimdark one like AoPH. Do you honestly believe that murder is the ideal answer?

>>
>>49052735
Yeah basically everyone did. If it turns out he's still a threat after we use mercy I'ma bitch at gobble.
>>
>>49052695
>mercy
>>
>>49052709
There is no ideal answer. And this may not be an edgelord quest, but I think it wouldn't be out of character for the final boss to die, real bad stuff has happened in this quest before.

To be completely serious, Kat would probably feel pretty messed up afterwards, I would if I was in her position. But I certainly wouldn't regret it.
>>
>>49052715
>>49052726
>>49052695
It's just not in the character. Others, certainly, but there're so many equally quick options where Hornbeam is stopped and we have a clean conscience.

Plus, Geno is probably going to kill this guy anyway if the poke-gods don't.

No need to go kill-stealing.
>>
>>49052695
So just to clarify, we CAN just hit him really really hard and beat him right?

Because juding by the vote, I think a big part of why people were advocating kill him was because they figured that as long as he has Legendary telekinesis, he's just too dangerous to be left alive.

But yeah if it turns out sparing him just gives him another chance to hurt us, I'll be annoyed.
>>
>>49052695
Also, Gobble, this boat is sinking, we're in autosage territory.
>>
>>49052775
He's had random shit up his sleeve every time we encounter him, we hardly have a foolproof way to incapacitate him without killing him.
>>
>>49052787
I don't think this'll be going for too much longer.
>>
>>49052794
We have 3 ways to paralyze him.
>>
>>49052775
I've already voted, you're not going to change my mind. I think we should kill him.

It would have been the correct choices especially if gobble hadn't suddenly said, "Oh you can totes be mercyful!"

He's literally attempting to fuck up reality.
>>
>>49052738
>>49052749
>>49052764
>>49052775

I say being crippled/unconscious isn't dead, and its certainly better than he deserves, it shouldn't be us that does it.
>>
>>49052797
>>49052787
>>49052695
Yeah, but this isn't archived yet.
>>
>>49052801
>>49052802
I get it, I just couldn't add that onto my vote because it would've invalidated it, yours were just related.
>>
>>49052695
>kill

After what he and Team Imperium under his command has done? Those mutated pokemon?

Fuck this guy.
>>
It's kind a moot point, since we all know what the first thing Mewtwo is gonna do after he's freed.
>>
>>49052798
There are several in-game ways to avoid status effects, plus random technology hornbeam might have to protect himself. That is in no way a foolproof plan.
>>
>>49052867
Yeah, just pointing out we are still the Status Queen. Also KO'd is a status.
>>
>>49052865
Yeah, but why ruin the moment.

Kill-stealing is still a dick move and there're at least five ultra-powerful entities and Geno that want to end Hornbeam themselves.
>>
guys, a problem.

if we don't kill him, Robin probably will

You have a dark temptation. You can end up. Permanently. He’s done nothing but put innocent people and Pokemon in danger and pain.

But you can’t. Maybe if your life had gone differently and you went down a different path you’d be that person. But you’re not. You look at Devon. He thinks you're the best person in the world. It makes you want to try to be.

You don’t have to say anything. The simplest gesture and your Pokemon know your command. Devon dives to grab his arm. Dan hits him with a Thunder Wave. Fel follows up with a carefully aimed cloud of sleep powder to the face.

Hornbeam collapses unconscious. His wireless helmet rolls off his head. You’ve done it. He’s stopped. He looks like any old man. Almost pitiable.

Giratina unleashes a desperate series of attacks, driving back Palkia, Dialga, and the others for a few seconds. It’s on it’s last legs, but a wounded animal is the most dangerous.

Mewtwo bursts from its tube, Mega-evolved. Violet and her Pokemon face you and yours.

(That’s it for tonight! I’ll be around for a little for questions!)
>>
>>49052933
Robin strikes me of more a torture person myself, but god help him if Vance gets a hold of him.
>>
>>49052949
Violet, you stupid fucking cunt
>>
>>49052933
Don't forget Violet.

We've already established that most people in the room want him dead.

I just want to see what everyone else comes up with to do him in.

There probably won't be enough left over to put in a matchbox by the time everyone's had their shot.

And Dialga is probably going to keep resurrecting him so everyone gets a shot at catharsis.
>>
>>49052949
Now really isn't the time for betrayal Violet.
>>
>>49052949
Welp. While I don't really wanna kill Hornbeam, I'm absolutely not gonna face Mega Mewtwo to defend him.
>>
>>49052949
Violet, stand down or we're going to beat you to death with our bare hands
we just decided against one murder, we won't do that again
>>
>>49052983
This seems less like betrayal, more like "I'm getting my revenge, don't try and stop me."
>>49052949
Thanks for running! What was you're reaction to catching Lugia with a quick ball? What was the DC?
>>
>>49052949
Once again, this is yet to be archived and autosaging.

On another note, on a scale of 1 to Homicidal, how angry are the legendaries in the room right now?
>>
>>49052949
At least we get a chance to test out Dan's Sparkle Cannon if not on Violet's pokemon, then on the Giratina.
>>
>>49052949
VIOLET YOU CUNT
>>
>>49052949
>>49053014
I don't know I don't think this is revenge, I think this is Violet or Mewtwo thinking they can wear Hornbeam's helmet and then enforce THEIR crazy world view.

...Even though, as dumb as Hornbeam is, I doubt he made his crown THAT user-friendly.
>>
>>49052695
>mercy
>>
well fuck you too, Violet
>>
What happens if mega mewtwo uses the helmet?
>>
>>49052949
Weird, I could have sworn Violet would have been a Mega Mewtwo X woman.
>>
>>49053177
Well, it'd be bad, IF he could get it on that massive noggin of his. Like just look at the size of that thing, not to mention the stuff sticking out of it.

[97, basing it off of a calculator and factoring a few things in. I figured you'd maybe roll high enough to keep it trapped for a few seconds while everyone lined up stuff like Stealth Rock and powerful attacks. If you guys hadn't done that, the showdown would be much harder.]

>>49053021
[Confused and angry. Also a bit worried. Arceus' attention was drawn here and that's pretty much one of the only beings that makes them concerned. It's the only Pokemon that knows Judgement. Giratina isn't sure who is responsible for it being pulled here or why, but someone dun goofed big time. They have a bit of an alien perspective though. Dialga is the chill one, what with infinite patience. Palkia is open minded, what with infinite perspective. Giratina is the bad boy with a major axe to grind.]

>>49053177
[The opposite of what Hornbeam wanted]
>>
>>49053218
Thanks for running gobble.

See ya
>>
>>49053218
>That last one

Uh oh.

I take it that the next thread is going to swing heavily on whether we can convince Violet and a very ANGRY Mewtwo that the whole of Humanity is not the same as Hornbeam.

Or get philosophical with 'one is a whole but two is a whole and twice as good' or something.

This has got me more worried than getting captured did.
>>
>>49052949
Thanks for running.
>>
>>49053218
Thanks for running as well, even though I wasn't here for most of it.

Hope I catch the next time you run a pokemon quest.

Avatar isn't my thing, but there's so much about the way you've written this that I've loved reading through and taking part in.
>>
>>49053521
[Thanks! I'm not 100% sure on what I'm doing next. Another Pokemon quest could be fun. I feel like I'd be retreading a lot of ground, though.]
>>
>>49053603
Depends on what you do with it, really. As long as we change up our team and it's nit a sequel or something, it should be a lot of fun. Maybe have a male protagonist this time around (as much as I love Kat, Robin, and Claire's dynamic).
>>
>>49053603
Well, if you do decide to, I'll be there in a heartbeat.

That said, the popular consensus of your playerbase was Avatar and a break might help spawn new ideas.

Plus, Sun and Moon are coming out in a couple of months, so there's some inspiration to stew over coming up anyway.

The Pokemon Adventures Manga is a great place for inspiration if you haven't read it as well.
>>
>>49053689
Yeah, just swapping the protag's team and gender would make for a whole other story, but if it's just the quest structure in general, taking a break for another setting might be the go.
