Just as you're about to finish speaking, the door bursts open, startling every student in the room, even the huffy Hakurin to your left. Following the door's speedy opening, the class' two sensei enter, with Aiko-sensei holding a stack of forehead protectors, and Muramaru-sensei holding an electronic scroll, which you can imagine holds the composition of the teams, and their sensei.
Muramaru-sensei looks down at his tablet and begins calling out the teams, at his call, each team goes down to the front and receives their headband, and where to meat their sensei tomorrow.
"Team 4, to be lead by Rakuyo Sarutobi, Choga Akimichi, Shikasho Nara, Inoko Yamanaka!" He calls out, and the three amble their way down to the front, receive their protectors, and leave.
"Team 5, to be lead by Kyuu'o Uzumaki, Mikadzuki Norihime, Ryuko Ishizumi, Mayuto Namikaze!" He calls out with similar gusto. As Ryuko walks by, Sakutai asks you why you didn't wish your girlfriend good luck, you roll your eyes at this.
"Team 6, to be lead by Eisai Shimura, Sakutai Uchiha, Matsukawa Sarutobi, Himarase Uzumaki!" Sakutai rolls his coal-colored eyes and makes his way down.
"Team 7 to be lead by Hōōmaru Tachibana, Kuro Nijiiroh, Hakurin Hyuuga, Jimmaru Sh- er, Uchiha!" He finishes, as the three of you go to get your headbands and assignments.
You and Hakurin walk down almost together, coming from the same row, and Jimmaru meets you before you get to the center. The three of you are the last students in the room, and as she gives you your forehead protectors, Aiko-sensei wishes you all luck, and Muramaru-sensei tells you that your new sensei wants you to meet in one of the larger Academy classrooms tomorrow.

Wire, kunai, and explosive tags certainly, although I'd specifically look for a second spool of extremely thin wire (Throw kunai+tag, use super-thin wire, tricky tricks).

We're not specialized enough for a big weapon, but tonfa would be a nice compromise. If we get stuff for traps as well as a bulky melee weapon, we can force opponents back into things they don't want to be in.
