Last time you summoned Kiyohime and scoped out the Ryuudou Temple. This time, let's see what happens.

You and your partner head back down the temple steps, the latter keeping a vice-like grip on your hand as you walk. Before long, you've exited the temple premises.

The sun has continued its movement through the sky, a quick glance at the time confirming that it's gotten to be the late afternoon already. You don't have much time before night falls, and when it does recon will become significantly more dangerous, so it's best to get your priorities out of the way now.

So then, where to?

[] Matou house
[] Einzbern castle/forest
[] Church
[] Back to your base, the Tohsaka house
[] Fuyuki Park
[] Shinto
[] Miyama

Let's go to the park
>>
You decide to head to the Fuyuki Park. After all, it's one of the four locations where Tokiomi had told you that the Holy Grail was able to materialize, so it seems like a fair location to investigate.

The walk there is a fairly lengthy one, enough that by the time you've arrived the sun is hanging relatively low in the sky. Nonetheless, it's still light out and should be so for another couple of hours.

However, this thought doesn't even cross your mind. This is because, at the moment you reach the park, you feel a burning sensation race along the back of your hand, your Command Seals coming alight. Your eyes widen slightly as you mentally inform Kiyohime that there's a Master in the general area, though among the numerous people here it will be hard to tell who it is.

[] Investigate through sight along, don't risk anything.
[] Have Kiyohime spiritualize and search for another Servant.
[] Use magecraft to try and find another magus, though this will only work if they have their Circuits active.

>>
You decide to opt for the safest option and just look around the area. Sending Kiyohime out or using magecraft could attract unwanted attention, and the best option is one where you go unnoticed. You scan the various groups of people that litter the park, trying to find someone with an unconventional appearance like an old-fashioned magus or with inhuman characteristics like Kiyohime's horns. Come to think of it, you should think of an excuse for those; saying it's cosplay might have to do.

Regardless, simply looking around doesn't seem to net much in the way of results. You're just about to call it off when-

Your heart stops in your throat, body freezing up as your eyes stop on a seemingly normal individual, a woman who seems to be alone. You feel the hairs on the back of your neck stand up, a chill racing down your spine. You can't describe it, but in a feeling beyond words, something is "wrong" about that person. They are someone who should not exist in this world. It's a feeling different from that which you get from magi, different from the pressure Kiyohime gives off as a Servant. This is something entirely different.

"Hm? Anchin-sama, what's wrong?"

Kiyohime's voice wafts into your ears as the woman continues resting against a tree, apparently not noticing your presence just yet.

[] Leave now, you can't let her see you, even if you don't know why.
[] Go up and introduce yourself.
[] Try to continue observing her, figure out what the source of this feeling is.

AND

>Tell Kiyohime that this woman is bad news, to at least let her know we're not ogling at other women
>>
>>48010031
Good call, supporting this.
>>
You swallow your nerves, but manage to turn to your partner with some composure still intact. Not wanting to risk verbal communication, you inform her mentally about the woman, and about your strange feeling, being very clear that you in no way, shape, or form feel any sort of attraction to her.

Kiyohime seems confused but takes your explanation in stride, her head swiveling slightly in the woman's direction. You see the Servant's eyes widen a bit, her voice manifesting in your mind a moment later. '...You're right, Anchin-sama, that woman is trouble. This sort of feeling, it's...familiar, but I can't pinpoint it.'

You try to analyze the woman as best you can without magecraft. Nothing about her appearance seems off enough to give you this feeling, but the fact that both you and Kiyohime reacted in such a way is enough to set off warning bells. Something about her doesn't feel human, it's like the rest of the world is a river and she's a stone that the water is flowing around, like she's something that doesn't belong.

[] Try to use magecraft to analyze her.
[] See if Kiyohime has any views on the matter, maybe she knows more than you.
[] Leave, you can think about this more later.

You decide to consult Kiyohime. After her reaction, you can at least guess that she knows something about this. In response to your questions, the Berserker merely shakes her head in reply, answering you mentally. 'I can't pinpoint it, but something about her feels off. She seems like the sort of being that's...problematic for Servants. It's the same sort of feeling that I got from the barrier on that temple, but...different.'

Something like the Ryuudou barrier? That's...strange, to say the least, something like that doesn't exactly strike you as characteristic of a magus. Turning away from Kiyohime, you look back in the direction of the woman...

-Only to find that she's now facing you with a somewhat disinterested look.

Your blood chills in your veins as she looks at you, through you, and flits her eyes over to Kiyohime a moment later. A playful grin appears on her face, writing over her previous expression, as she stands up away from the tree she was resting against, and starts off in your direction.

Oh.

Your mind races, trying to come to a decision one what to do. The impulse to flee is strong, but in spite of it you manage to keep yourself in place as the woman approaches you, Kiyohime's eyes narrowingly slightly as she tightens her grip on your hand, seething at the approaching woman.

She stops a few steps in front of you, a cheshire grin splitting her face. "Oh?" She speaks up, looking you over in a way that makes you feel strangely violated. "Well, that's interesting. What's a little magus doing staring at me? That's rude, you know~"

The Command Seals on the back of your hand are burning furiously. There's almost no doubt that the person in front of you is a Master, but their presence is still something entirely different.

Silently, you tell Kiyohime to refer to you as "Master" instead of "Anchin" when dealing with others, lest her identity be revealed prematurely.

[] Introduce yourself, stay calm and courteous.
[] Try to take control, ask her what she wants.
[] Flirt. You're probably immune to dragon fire, right?

>>
You swallow your nerves and give your name, smoothing over your expression as best you can. Kiyohime steps forwards a bit as you speak, as if serving as a wall between you and the woman. In response, she merely lets out an airy giggle.

"A pleasure. You can call me Xuan, if you're so inclined." She says. You question the authenticity of the name, given that she certainly doesn't look Chinese. "I'm glad that the first one to come here was a cute one. If it was one of those old family heads or that professor, I'd probably have to kill them."

Those words are enough to make your eyes widen slightly. First, because she called you cute in front of Kiyohime. Second, because she spoke so confidently of killing other Masters. And third, because she was apparently aware of a Master you didn't know about, this "professor". Tokiomi had said he'd have some findings on the other Masters for you by tonight, but you didn't know anything about the others at the moment.

"Please don't talk to my Master like that. I don't want to ruin a wonderful day like this by killing you." Kiyohime cut in, her voice like a knife as she seethed at Xuan, who only let out a laugh in response and stepped back.

"Oh, sorry, sorry. You two are like that, then? Well, seems a bit quick, but I don't know when you were summoned so I won't judge. Yes, yes, no worries, I won't overstep my bounds then~" She replies, too cheerily for someone who was just threatened by a Servant.

"Hey, want to make an alliance? We'd get along well, I can tell already."

...what?

[] "Sure, if you agree to a self-geis scroll."
[] "I'll...think about it."
[] "No, you're too ugly."

while mentally asking kiyohime her thoughts on the matter
>>
>>48010551
Hmmm, lets see. One, I cannot even begin to explain how little I trust you. Two, I'm almost definitely sure you'll say or do something to piss off my Servant in a manor that will lead to your destruction. And three, you see stupidly confident and strong enough to back it up.

All I have to say is... welcome aboard.
>>
>>48010586
Seconding this.
>>
Your mind extends towards Kiyohime, about to ask her about her thoughts on the matter, but-

'I'm going to kill her I'm going to kill her I'm going to kill her hate hate hate hate hate HATE HATE HATE HATE HATE-'

...you retract your mind from the connection between the two of you. It's probably for the best if you don't ask her.

"I'll...think about it." You reply, a bit of your nervousness showing back through your voice, partially thanks to hearing Kiyohime's mental raving. Xuan merely lets out another laugh, waving her hand dismissively. "Ah, I expected that sort of response. Fair enough, fair enough. I'll be here more often than not, so if you ever reconsider then just stop by~"

Well, you can hardly trust her words on face, but you at least stow that information away for later. Whether you decide to ally with or kill her, knowing a potential location of hers could be helpful, even if she might stage a trap here.

[] Ask her why she proposed an alliance, who she is.
[] Ask her to show her Servant, since she's gotten to see yours.
[] Say your farewells.
>>
>>48010655
>[] Ask her why she proposed an alliance, who she is.
Then ask to see her Servant
>>
>>48010655
>[] Say your farewells.

Kiyo is pissed enough as it is, and she won't tell us anything worth knowing. Best to leave now and figure out how and when to nuke the park with dragon fire later.
>>

>[] Say your farewells.
>>
>>48010655
>[] Say your farewells
>>
You doubt any further conversation is going to net you worthwhile information, and all that's really happened so far is that your Servant's gotten absolutely furious, so it's probably for the best that you leave now.

"Well, I need to get going. Goodbye." You say curtly, giving Xuan a nod before turning away. As you turn your back, you see a pout form on her face from the corner of your eye. "Ah, kids these days, always running off to do one thing or another. Well, it was nice meeting you, do keep my offer in mind, yeah?"

You make a noncommital gesture before hastily walking out of the park's area, not slowing down until your Command Seals have stopped burning. You glance at Kiyohime and probe her mind a bit to see how she's doing. Her rage seems to have subsided by a fair amount, so she's probably just sort of fuming now. By now, the sun is dipping below the horizon, bathing the sky red. Night will be upon the city soon.

[] Head back to the Tohsaka house.
[] Keep looking around the city (Specify location).

Back to Tohsaka
>>
You don't want to get caught outside, unprotected, after night has fallen, especially given Kiyohime's lack of combat ability outside of her Noble Phantasm. With that in mind, you head back to the Tohsaka estate, Kiyohime in tow.

By the time you arrive, unlocking the front door with the key Tokiomi had given you and stepping inside, you find the head of the house poring over a few papers, looking up as you enter. "Ah, you're back, excellent! I've been looking into Master candidates as I promised." He says, rising from his seat as you walk into the living room.

"Of course, the Matou and Einzberns will have Masters of their own, and looking into their affairs is difficult since they seem to be handing things internally. Besides them, though, I have information on two other Masters, so that means that we should only have two Masters who are wholly unknown."

For some reason, you doubt that Xuan is a part of Tokiomi's report, so that probably brings the number of unknowns down to one.

[] Sit down and listen to Tokiomi's report.
[] Ask Tokiomi for information on the city.
[] Tell him to leave the papers in the guest room, you're heading back out.

You nod, taking a seat in the living room, as does Kiyohime. Without any further pause, Tokiomi launches into his explanation.

"Now, the first magus is a rather conspicuous one. His name is Feend vor Sembren, he's a high-ranking member of the Clock Tower. I'm not entirely sure why he's come here, but it's likely more for entertainment than anything else; I've seen his type before, so playing to his arrogance is something to keep in mind."

As he speaks, Tokiomi shows you a picture that you can only assume is one of Feend himself.

"He's an expert-level magus of the wind affinity, specializing in manipulation of 'flow'. In a straight duel, from what I know about you and him, you'd likely be at a small disadvantage, so tactics are needed. I don't have information on his supplies though, and he's likely brought a modicum of Mystic Codes, so you should certainly take him seriously."

After speaking, Tokiomi shows you a second picture. "And this is Adnan, a member of the Atlas Academy who has been sent here. I wasn't able to get much in the way of detailed information, Atlas is worryingly good at not letting information get out. All I know is that he specializes in the Atlas alchemical arts, and that the eyepatch of his isn't for show; it's a Mystic Eye Killer of some sort, though I don't know what kind of Mystic Eye he has."

"Those are the two I've gotten information on, but if you have further questions then I'm happy to clarify more. Our victories are linked, after all."

[] Ask for clarification about Feend.
[] Ask for clarification about Adnan.
[] You know what he's talking about, no clarification's needed.

While Adnan is worrying, the person you met in the park not long ago is even more concerning. With that in mind, you bring Xuan up to Tokiomi, describing her and your interaction with her as best you can.

Tokiomi's brows furrow slightly as your explanation goes on, a troubled glint forming in his eyes. "I see, she's obviously one of the Masters I wasn't able to get information on, but how you're describing her is concerning. 'Inhuman', you say. There are plenty of things that could fit such a bill, but that similarity to the Ryuudou Barrier is just...too strange. Very well, I'll see if I can scrounge up any information on her. If you're able to get me a picture then I could probably get better results, but I'll see what I can do off of your description."

"Is there anything else you need?"

[] Ask about Feend.
[] Ask about Adnan.
[] Ask about the other founding families.

>>48011295
They're a tool used to negate the effects of one's Mystic Eyes. Basically, a good way to view it is that the eyepatch turns his Mystic Eye off. Shiki wears them so he doesn't go insane from seeing "death" all the time, and Medusa wears them in the HF end so she doesn't turn everyone to stone all the time.

Ah, I see now. Thanks for that, I've only seen Fate/Zero and the most recent adaptation of Stay Night, so the UBW route. Sorry for the massive gaps in my knowledge.

Also, ask about Adnan, what Servant he is most likely to have, and such.
>>
Between Adnan and Feend, the one you know less about is certainly more dangerous. Besides that, the name "Atlas Academy" carries a certain weight to itself. The isolated branch of the Mage's Association, a group of mathematicians trying to avert the end of the world. Why has one of them come here?

Tokiomi looks back over the papers in response to your inquiry, before giving his response. "I apologize if my information on him is disappointing, but as you know, Atlas has millennia of practice at concealing information. He is skilled in Atlas's Alchemy, which is different from our western Alchemy. Our Alchemy is changing something to something else, transmuting metals and the like, while Atlas uses mathematics in tandem with magecraft to do such things as predict the future through calculations. By gathering data on a person or location, they can calculate the future using the past. It's not as powerful as it sounds, though; even with weeks of preparation, calculating the future of something like a city is unreliable at best."

"As for his Servant, members of Atlas generally have rather poor Magic Circuits, which is why they use mathematics to 'compensate', so to speak. They split their mind and overclock their brains to make up for their lack of natural talent. So, I doubt he will have summoned a Servant with high cost of maintenance. Someone like Heracles, for instance, is unlikely. Rather, it's more likely that he's summoned a Servant with low costs of maintenance, one more focused on efficiency than raw power. Of course, that's just my conjecture."

"As for his Mystic Eye, my knowledge on it is nil. All I know is that he has a Mystic Eye, but I don't know what it does, or even if it's artificial or natural. I've tried to dig up more on him, but it's proved next to impossible."

[] Ask more about Atlas Alchemy (specify)
[] Ask about someone else (Specify)
>>
>>48011538
Well, fuck. I've got a solid mid-boss feeling about this guy. But worst case scenario, it'll be really easy to goad him into doing stupid things by calling him a boring nerd who needs math to actually use his shriveled and limp Magic Circuits.

You broach the topic of the head of the Matou family that you have only heard about, Matou Zouken. At the mention of him, Tokiomi's face tightens slightly, and he speaks up somewhat reluctantly.

"Zouken...Zouken Matou is a shrewd genius. He has led the Matou family since before I was even born, and I don't have a grasp on how long he has been alive despite having lived near him all my life. The details of his magecraft are also unknown to me, all I can say is that it revolves around the usage of insect familiars."

"If I had to give you any recommendation about him, it's to not underestimate him. He and the Einzbern family head are older and more acquainted with the Grail System than I am. Even if his information is unknown and his familiars seem feeble, even though the Matou bloodline is dying if not dead, he isn't a force you can take lightly."

Oh it's there, but someone thought it be funny to down vote it to -10
>>
It's on there, I read it before posting here since I missed it. Dawn has the pastebin in the info doc
>>
>>48013969
ah, that would explain it.
>>
>>48012587
Please don't actually take shota/trap posters seriously. It never leads in good directions.
>>
>>48014565
>please ignore two-thirds of the players
>>
>>48014565
I'm fine with shota characters, just not traps. It always ends up with either a meme or degenerate character.
>>
so besides which general anime male archetype, what skin color should the mc have/where should they be from?
>>
Also I just realized... we actually kinda have to be around kiyohime's height due to how we kissed her, how tall is she?
>>
>>48015872
Let's just be Gudao. Comes with the advantage of there already being canary with Kiyo
>>
>>48015872
my personal vote is for him to be Japanese. maybe from the Kyoto/Osaka area?
>>
>>48015917
She's 158 cm, or about 5'2"
>>
>>48015926
I'm rather unfamiliar with the setting here (watched the anime with the dense ginger a long time ago and thats it) , who is Gudao? A quick google search was kinda inconclusive
>>
>>48015995
He's the male version of the Fate/Grand Order protagonist. Search "Gudao grand order" or something. Plenty of fanart with him and Kiyo, since she's from Grand Order.

so how tall do we have to be to do the fancy kiss we did in thread 1? cause aren't shota's usually 4ft or so?
>>
>>48016019
Yeah, we'd need to be about as tall as her or taller to pull that off without lining it up being awkward
>>
>>48016086
Stilts
>>
>>48016019
>so how tall do we have to be to do the fancy kiss we did in thread 1?
I mean, Kiyo is 4 foot or so too.
>>
>>48016019
She picked us up in my head, that or she got on her knees
>>
>>48011957
I had one original Servant candidate for each class, which are the enemy Servants that you're up against, with one exception. For the two canon options, I just got a list of all canon Servants in that class and rolled to pick two.

So basically, the OC candidate for Assassin is the one in this, while the two canon options would have been randomly picked; I don't know who they'd have been.

So on what difficulty are we playing?
Easy or "Archetype:Earth is a master"?
>>
>>48013765
Dear god I hope we have a social situation that needs disguises, and Kiyo just forces us into a dress. I'm sorry for the Magical Realm

Depends on you. The "strongest" pair on paper is high-tier, but still below, say, Illya/Herc or something similarly monstrous. With that said, other pairs have more potential, but whether they access that potential to the fullest depends on how events play out, since they need a lot of things to align to become something godly.

So, this can either be relatively easy with a few bumps in the road, "fighting a world-ending calamity", or anything in-between. Looking forward to seeing what happens.

Good luck.

You know, when I said Bumstead, I meant the other one.
>>
So what generation are we anyway?
Second?
Twenty eight?
>>
>>48018012
Ambiguous "good but not incredible". Probably in the 5-7 range.
>>
>>48016019
>>48016086
Or, we might be a normal person instead of a shota. Wouldn't that be a trick?
>>
>>48018271
that was the entire point of my question, you can't exactly be a little kid when you're over 5 feet tall, kinda takes shota out of the running.
>>
Shota? Seriously? I feel like that first summoning bit shoulda knocked something like that out of the running.
>>
>>48020853
Be happy it's not futa that people want
