Suzu is definitely a much better match for your personality between the two. You head over to her room and knock on the door.
“…Comein?” You here her murmur after a moment.
You ease the door open and suddenly freeze still as death.
Suzu is sitting in her bed, half slouched against a mountain of pillows and staring listlessly at you. She looks dreadfully tired, as always, but that’s not what froze you.
In her hand, she’s holding a steaming tea cup. A tea cup. A tea cup. A tEa Cup. A PorceLAIn TeA cUP.
Steaming with the unholiest of infusions, the odd runic designs around the rim seem to devour all the light around them, channeling it into that blasphemous tea.
“Uh… Hanako?” Suzu catches your attention by raising an eyebrow. You realize you just sort of walked into her room and froze.
“Um… My room was damaged… Can I bunk with you for a while?”
She sips her perniciously-warmed tea to wake up. “Damaged… ho- wait… is… that a bite-mark?” She raises an eyebrow.
You make a metal note to cover that for later. “O-oh. Akira. Lilly’s sister.”
“Akira… Room… Bite…” Suddenly her face lights up and she starts giggling like a drunkard. “Sure… y-you can stay… heeeeeerreee…” She loses herself again. Unsure of what she suddenly found so funny, you thank her and leave.
Time is wasting and you certainly don’t want to be late to your own birthday tea, but should you maybe drop by Miki’s and let her know about the new roomie-setup? It couldn’t take ‘that’ long… right?

“Wakey, Wakey, Hanners.”
Then a clear voice slices through that with a fresh wave of fear. Looking over, you see Akira casually leaned into the door frame, staring lazily at you with those crazed red eyes.
“I didn’t want it to come to this… mostly. I just couldn’t hold back anymore.” She giggles. “I’d forgotten what it means to be possessive.” The pressure on your back turns into a chill as she walks over and stroke your hair in the manner of a child playing with a doll. “You’ve always been my favorite.”
“A-Akira…” You lock up, not knowing which, if any words could reach her now. She just laughs.
“Oh? Did you want a token of your hunt? Don’t worry. I brought Hisao along.” With a flourish, she tosses a large bag about the size of a melon to the floor in front of you. It smacks to the floor with a wet packing sound.
Your mind whites out. Thinking is beyond you right now. Trembling, your hands reach to open the sack on the floor…

Akira, the last time you ‘planned a party’ you wound up in a deathmatch with Yetis inside an ancient Babylonian sacrificial temple. You know better than to actually say that, however, and instead just yawn and stretch out. Akira watches with a smirk.
“Oh, come on. You’re picking up bad habits from Lilly… You should be excited after your victory yesterday…” Right… you eliminated Emi and Rin with Akira’s help.
Recalling it is… a complex feeling.
Akira tilts her head as if to gauge your reaction, then sighs fondly. “You know… You looked so beautiful back then… covered in blood…”
Then she cranes her head down and bites your neck.
Not a playful or gentle bite either – she literally bites down hard enough to draw blood, which she laps up. Your breath catches. A bolt shoots down your spine. You snap harshly back into full wakefulness with a sensation akin to being fed on by a vampire.

A dreamy smile creeps over your face as you rub his back as if trying to feel his life itself. “Not without you, Hisao…”
The rest of your trip is spent in relative merriment, more having the attitude of a carnival than any kind of mourning. You hit up a café, window shop for knives, and spend most of your time at the arcade, where you manage to leave a good impression.
“You’re really good at this.” He pats your head as you conclude a two-player game. “Do you do this with Akira?”
“The ball games, yeah, but not the shooters. Akira has a bad habit of pulling New-York-reloads and stabbing the screen with real weapons.”
He laughs. You’ve really grown to like that sound.
In no time at all your brief lunch period is past and you’re heading back to Yamaku. You and Hisao split up as he heads to class and you head to the tea room to thank Lilly. You shoot him a wink as you split up, amazed with yourself at how easy that is now… It used to be that you could barely stammer a sentence. Now the light seems brighter. Sounds seem richer.
You arrive at the tea room grinning like a loon.
“Thank you soooo much.” You giggle as you elbow through the half-open door. “I had such a good day, Lil… ly.. ?”
Your voice catches. Everything grinds to a halt.
There, amidst a few broken shards of pottery, Lilly is lying completely still on the floor.
