You see Tenten blush. You get the feeling you know what's going to happen, and your nerves get the better of you. Tenten notices your expression.

You find yourself inside Tenten's mind. There's no one here to guide you this time, so you make your way through Tenten's memories on your own, feeling all her emotions along the way.

What she's told you proves true, as her early years are focused on being told tales of legendary kunoichi, and aspiring to be one of them. As soon as she could hold them, she was practicing the use of all kinds of weapons. For years, all her thoughts were focused on this goal.

You eventually reach your academy days. Her thoughts toward you are friendly, but no different from the others at this point. Until graduation, when you start spending more time with her. As time goes on, you feel Tenten's emotions begin to change. As she spends more and more time with you, she starts to think of you all the time. Your encouragement drives her harder to achieve her dream, and she begins to associate you with it. Your presence in her dream becomes as natural as being a ninja at all. You train together, encourage each other, go on missions where you risk your lives for each other. It's not quite love... But you have become an irreplaceable part of her world. Where her every decision before was weighed solely against her dream, you are now as much of a consideration. More than her teammates, family, superiors. You still don't quite believe she didn't realize her feelings at this point, but you eventually reach that very night when she does.

Tenten is in front of you, crying even harder than ever. Whatever she saw, it must have effected her greatly.

You consider heading home and fixing something yourself, but you decide against it. You're not in the mood. You decide on ramen instead. You head to Ichiraku's.

When you arrive, you and Neji take a seat and order. They may be your uncle's competition, but one in a while surely couldn't hurt.

You're eventually served, and the two of you get to eating. There's something cathartic about eating ramen for breakfast. You certainly feel at least a bit less down after finishing.

"I can see why Sai recommends this place, it's quite good." Neji says, paying the bill. "Though your uncle surely fixes a greater variety of food, so I prefer it."

The two of you leave the ramen stand, then just wander around the village for today. You spend some time at the Memorial Stone, somberly remembering those etched on it. You pass by the academy and see some young ninja in training hard at work. You generally make your way around to see villagers going about their lives. After a full day of watching the lives of others, you feel much more calm. You've made mistakes, but you can't let that slow you down.

As the day comes to an end, you and Neji find yourself in front of the restaurant.

"Hopefully you're in better spirits now." Neji says. "I can't do much, but I can a least keep you company. Anyway, I need to head back to the compound. I've been missing all day and I didn't tell anyone where I was going. Good luck to you, Kon."

It's been a long time since I had something to put my heart into besides cooking and taking care of you. I had almost forgotten the feeling. Anyway, Tsume and I are getting on real well. We aren't thinking about anything serious, but I think we'll be involved for quite a while."

You're glad to hear things are going well for your uncle, at least. You chat over dinner, while avoiding answering any questions regarding your recent activities for now. You'll bring them up another time. After a while, you head upstairs to sleep in your own bed. After a night on solid rock, you fall asleep in almost no time.

I gave up on waifuing Tenten the third or fourth time that some of us tried to talk to her about it and failed to get any sort of momentum. One can only maintain interest for so long when nothing is happening.

It feels like kind of a depressing conclusion, we got a girl that lives in another village who we wont see all that much, who's kids will have to belong to another clan. We broke a girl we had feelings for and who loved us as a kunoichi and she no longer wants anything to do with us.

On top of that we plan on going on a trip with roshi for god knows how long, away from the woman we chose, at least with tenten she could have teleported us home whenever she or we wanted a cuddle or some affection. We wouldnt of chosen to leave her like we will Kuro because we could see her anytime.

Just feels weird we picked someone who alienates us from our home village, disappoints our hokage and elders and then we decide to fucking leave her for a road trip anyway.

The only "Harem End" i'd accept is as follows.

We are ask/told by the Elders to marry Tenten to solidify our loyalty to the Leaf, if we get a kid of of it whatever its not important. It's more stating our loyalty to the Leaf and about the leaf not looking like the Stone is nicking their Bloodline just like that.

Kuro would understand the political side of it and be ok with THAT BIT, but the rest is more dodgy. While it would mean we can return our feels to an extent it is more putting a band-aid on a bigger issue. I feel it's because in this entire quest, we really haven't focused on romance. It was all about training, going on missions, stopping the akatsuki, and getting gud to take down Kaguya. Now that's it's over, what's left? Romance that really was never expanded on.

Ok. Let's change things hypothetically. We tell Itachi first like we should have. He says what he said earlier, that he's okay with it, a little disappointed that Impact will be in Stone even though he has so many bloodlines already. So we have his approval and then we go to the Stone, same thing happens.

Telling Tenten that we were going to marry Kuro would have resulted in the same thing.

So the only that would have changed if we didn't 'Rushwithourdickslol' as you put it would less disappointment from Itachi. Which is a good thing, but not that significant in the grand scheme.

I'm a little less harsh towards the whole Ninshu thing. She was already at the point where she felt like she couldn't use her signature technique because it reminds her that she lost us because of her obsession with it.
