Shu and Mai lead you on a long trek through the desert, not saying much on the way there aside from complaints about the heat every few minutes. Honestly, Bulma and Oolong complained less than these two, and that's saying something.

You're still quite tired from dealing with the machine and plane, but you're able to get going. And, slowly but surely your strength is returning to you. You don't think you can use another Kamehameha just yet, but you aren't stumbling as you walk anymore.

After what feels like hours, you finally see your destination, and it's probably the biggest building you've seen in your life by far.

It's a strange looking place. The bottom portion looks like a pyramid, though it has a large front door, and the upper part is a palace with many towers and a large antenna.

"Here we are," Mai says as you approach the building.

"Home sweet home," Shu says.

"Wow," Goku says, admiring the building. "Look at this place."

"It's huge," Bulma gasps.

"How do we get in?" you ask.

Shu and Mai share a look, and the dog steps forward.

"Don't worry, I'll get you in," he promises.

He raises his right hand and brings it to his mouth, letting out a sharp whistle.

Nothing happens.

"Alright, what's the hold up?" Oolong asks. "I'm frying out here! Get those giant doors open!"

When Oolong stops shouting, you hear a new noise. It takes you a moment to recognize it, but when you do, you know trouble's coming.

You hear dogs barking. A lot of them.

"W-what's going on?" Bulma asks nervously.

Shu turns around, grinning. "My dog police are on their way! Now hand over the Dragonballs before they rip you limb from limb!"

Dozens of dogs appear, some coming from around the sides of the building, others jumping down from the walls.

They rush to Shu and Mai's sides, growling lowly at you, foaming at the mouth and preparing to attack.

"Last chance," Mai warns.

You drop into a fighting stance, preparing for the dogs to attack.

Goku follows your lead and gets ready to fight. You're sure that between the two of you, these dogs won't be a problem. But, you think Shu and Mai might try something with Bulma, so you take a step closer to her just to be safe.

"Alright, sic 'em, boys!" Shu orders.

The dogs bark and attack, three of them leaping at you together. You jump up and punch the two on the sides before kicking the one in the middle.

Landing, you duck as another dog leaps at you, and get into a pushup position, kicking upward and catching it in the stomach.

Goku's having an easy time of it, too, taking out his Power Pole and using it to swat away groups of the attacking canines at a time.

As you continue fighting off the dogs, you see the massive doors open. Shu and Mai quickly turn and flee inside.

The doors begin to close.

You shout for Goku to use the Power Pole to keep the doors open.

After smacking away a trio of dogs, he does as you say, pointing the pole toward the doors and shouting loudly.

"Power Pole, extend!"

The pole glows and increases in size, stretching out and going between the two doors, preventing them from closing completely.

Goku drops the end of the pole he's holding and resumes fighting the dogs, doing a backflip and kicking one in the face.

Oolong runs around in circles as a dog snaps at his backside.

"Nice doggie!" Oolong desperately cries as he's chased. "You wouldn't like me, I'm too gamey!"

You jump over and kick the dog in the head, saving Oolong's hide.

It takes a few minutes, but soon the dogs are beaten. A few are unconscious, and the rest have retreated. For the moment, you're safe.

"Well, this is just great," Bulma complains. "They ditched us, and now they could be anywhere in that giant palace!"

"We'll find them," Goku says optimistically, approaching the large doors and pushing one open.

It must be quite heavy, because Goku seems to have a bit of difficulty getting it to move.

The door swings open, revealing a dark hallway.

You lead the way into the dark hallway, the others following closely behind. You all halt as countless glowing red eyes appear in the distance.

A swarm of bats fly by, and you duck, covering your head while Oolong and Bulma scream and jump all over trying to avoid them.

Once they calm down, you lead them further into the castle. You pause as your foot seems to sink into the floor, and the next thing you know, square pillars are coming down from the ceiling and out of the walls, threatening to crush, or at least trap you.

"Run!" you shout.

You and the others dash forward, and things you wrong almost immediately.

You run face-first into one of the pillars, and Bulma trips into another. Goku starts smashing them, and Oolong runs around and desperately tries to avoid behind hit, only to be conked on the head.

Goku smashes the pillar above Oolong, and as you recover, you see another lifting Bulma toward the ceiling.

It's gonna crush her!

You leap at the pillar, kicking right through it and freeing Bulma.

You land on the ground and catch her as she falls.

"Thanks," she says, sighing in relief.

You set her down and help Goku, smashing through stone pillar after stone pillar until you're all able to safely move further into the castle.

After a short while, you see a glowing arrow on the floor.

"Well, that's odd." Bulma comments.

"Think it's a trap?" Oolong asks.

"Nah, it's too obvious," Bulma concludes. "Let's follow it."

You decide to follow the arrow, and it leads you down the hall, where you find another arrow, then another, then another.

Finally, you find yourselves in a long hallway, and follow it with you and Goku in the lead.

With every step, you expect something to come out and attack you. Bats, dogs, snakes, Shu and Mai, anything. But, no attack comes. Instead, you're able to follow the hallway to its end, where a monitor hangs from the wall.

You hear a crash behind you, and turn around to see a new wall has appeared, boxing you and your friends in.

Bulma looks around. "Oh no, we're stuck!"

"Wonderful! Now I get to die today, too!" Oolong shouts.

"What's wrong?" Goku asks them. "Why are you so upset?"

"Because we're prisoners, Goku," Bulma tells him.

"Oh, don't worry," Goku says optimistically. "If there's a way in, there has to be a way out."

"Goku, they're going to try and kill us!" Bulma explains.

"Scary!" Goku laughs.

Bulma sighs. "Don't you take anything seriously?"

"Those ignorant bafoons," you hear a shrill voice laugh. "I really do have to hand it to myself, the old "follow the arrow" trap gets them every time!"

"Sire, I think you have the microphone on," you hear Shu say.

The sounds seem to be coming from the monitor.

You rush over to the monitor, and ask if that's Emperor Pilaf talking.

The monitor turns on, and the image of a blue creature with pointy ears appears before you.

"Yes, I am the all-powerful Emperor Pilaf!" he confirms.

"Oolong, I think I can get him if I dive through that window," you hear Goku tell Oolong.

"That's a television, you moron," Oolong tells him.

"Thank you so much for bringing the Dragonballs to me," Emperor Pilaf goes on. "I see you even brought them in a nice suitcase for me. Hand them over and things will go much easier for you."

"Maybe in the next millennium, jerk!" Bulma tells him, sticking her tongue out at the radiot and tightening her grip on the suitcase.

Emperor Pilaf gasps, then growls. "So, that's how you want to play it, little girl? Fine, then, time for the treatment!"

You hear Shu and Mai gasp.

A part of the ceiling opens up, and a metallic arm descends, grabbing Bulma by the waist and pulling her upward.

She drops the suitcase as she's dragged out of the room.

You leap up after Bulma, but the ceiling closes up just before you can get through, and you end up banging your head before falling painfully to the ground below.

"So, what did he mean by "the treatment"?" Goku asks.

Oolong smirks. "I think I know."

You pick yourself up and look at the monitor, watching as Bulma is dragged into the room by the mechanical arm.

She kicks her legs and squirms in an effort to free herself, but to no avail.

"What is this?" she shouts. "Let me go, you freak!"

"You insolent brat!" Emperor Pilaf shouts. "I am the great Emperor Pilaf, and I will be the only one giving the orders here! Tell your friends to hand over the Dragonballs, now!"

Bulma sticks up her middle finger. "The only thing I'm handing over to you is this finger, buster!"

"I see, you actually want the treatment, don't you?" Pilaf asks.

He smiles in a way that makes you feel uncomfortable, and you see a bit of drool leak from the corner of his mouth.

"Oh, you'll wish I'd have killed you," he promises, laughing hysterically.

Bulma actually looks frightened now, and cringes, trying to force herself to move further away from Pilaf.

"Let her go!" you shout at the screen.

Pilaf doesn't respond to you, but continues to cackle madly.

Oolong chuckles a bit at your side as he watches the monitor.

"Not "the treatment", have a heart," Shu pleads.

"No, please, Emperor," Mai begs.

You feel sick to your stomach. Whatever this treatment is, it must be horrific if Pilaf's minions are begging him not to use it on Bulma.

Pilaf brings his right hand up, and places his fingers over his lips.

He takes a step forward, and Bulma squeezes her eyes shut, trembling in fear.

Then, to your astonishment, Pilaf blows her a kiss.

Emperor Pilaf chuckles, and you can see that his cheeks have gone red.

"There, now you will do as I say," he tells Bulma.

"That's it?" Bulma asks. "A kiss?"

"Well, yes," Emperor Pilaf tells her. "Pretty scary, don't you think?"

"Is that the best you can do?" Bulma asks curiously.

Pilaf looks at her in shock and horror.

"I thought you guys were tough," Bulma says. "But man, that was easy. A first-grader could think of something better than "the treatment"".

She laughs, and you see Shu and Mai tremble as Pilaf's eyes go wide in shock.

"What?!" he shrieks. "Did you hear what she said?!"

"Yes, Emperor," Shu and Mai tell him fearfully.

"I'll have you know I got my degree in torture!" Pilaf tells Bulma. "I am a certified master of torture! Ahh, that does it!"

The ceiling opens up, and Bulma is lowered into the room.

You leap up at the ceiling again as Bulma is dropped, but once again you only succeed in hitting your head painfully and falling back to the ground.

"Kid, it's good that you're using your head, but it's not supposed to be literal," Oolong tells you.

Bulma growls from the ground. "Nice catch, you guys."

She sits up and rubs her back.

You hear a hiss, and look to see some sort of yellow mist coming from the wall.

Bulma gasps, and Oolong covers his nose.

"Sleeping gas!" he warns.

Goku seems to know what you meant, though, as he cups his palms and faces toward the wall where the monitor is.

He begins coughing too.

You fall forward, and everything goes dark.

When you wake up, you notice two things.

One. The suitcase is gone.

Two. The wall that trapped you in the room is gone.

You rush out of the room as fast as you can. If Pilaf has the Dragonballs, he could be making his wish at this very moment.

That sleep seems to have done wonders for your energy, you feel refreshed and ready to do what you have to do.

You're down the hallway in seconds, but you quickly realize you have no idea where you're going.

You see the path branches off in many directions, and Pilaf could be in any of them.

Or, that's what you were thinking until you hear the little imp's voice from a nearby hallway.

"I can't believe you two nitwits missed one!" you hear him berating Shu and Mai. "You call yourselves agents?"

"We're sorry, sire," Shu tells him. "We thought they were all in the suitcase."

"Well, you need to be more thorough!" Pilaf lectures. "Let's find that last Dragonball before they wake up!"

"But where did they hide it?" Shu asks.

"There were two boys in there," you hear Mai comment. "I'm sure there's at least one ball between the two of them."

There's a silent pause.

You giggle to yourself before looking around the corner, finding Shu and Pilaf staring at Mai.

"Agent Mai, I believe I've told you how I feel about dirty jokes in my presence," Pilaf tells her. "I expect my minions to have a little bit of class."

"Understood, sir," Mai says, saluting with one hand and pulling out what looks like a piece of poop on a stick with another.

"That's exactly what I'm talking about!" Pilaf shouts. "Quests are already on thin enough ice on /tg/ since that new board was created; we can't afford to be so tasteless and vulgar!"

"S-sorry, Emperor," Mai says, throwing the stick away.

"Now, come on, let's go get that last ball," Pilaf instructs, leading them toward you.

Mai pulls out a gun, but you punch it up, causing her bullets to ricochet off the ceiling. You shove her against the wall, and her gun goes clattering to the ground.

"Good luck!" Pilaf shouts to his agents before taking off down the hall.

You run after Pilaf as fast as he can, following him down the hall. You're gaining fast, and he seems to realize it as he looks over his shoulder.

He screams and runs faster, running into a wall and hitting one of the bricks.

A door opens, and he dashes inside, waiting as the door slams shut behind him.

You rush to the wall and hit each tile you find, but nothing happens.

Pilaf's muffled laughter comes from the other side of the wall.

"You'll never get through here," Pilaf tells you. "I deactivated the door! You should give up and get out of here while you have the chance!"

"What was that?" he asks. "You're going to have to speak up."

"HA!"

Your blast strikes the wall and causes it to crumble, revealing a confused and dizzy looking Emperor Pilaf sitting with bricks in his lap.

"I'm sorry, could you repeat that?" he asks.
