From a distant star system you watch as your Armada defends itself and those it calls its subjects.

Creating Generals of heroic might and cunning to be the leaders and defenders of the New Necrotic Armada in your absence was a decision well made it would seem. Horizon's Drop has been defended, the Osjiic fleet reduced to scrap and the army captured and jailed in the various prisons the Armada necessitated. The system containing Station 88 prevented from returning to Confederate hands by the bluffing of Predator Eiton and the timely arrival of the Armatocere. Even now in Bastion, home of the ructu and Lavafather the sisters Agona and Muic clash with the waves of Ahkam ships and soldiers that appear throughout the system.

You leave the defense of your Empire in their capable hands and turn your attention to defending a newly made allies system. Sapling Slrrt had contacted you after your fleets arrival at the edge of their system. As Nails and sub-capitols rushed into battle with the patrols of Yuyut fighters and wardrones the floral ambassador informs you of Jors decision to accept a formal alliance with the powerful faction. At first you were annoyed with Jors brashness but this partnership had been a long time coming as it was.

Now as your fleet moves into the system proper you are hailed by the Armatocere picket fleet centered around their main world, welcoming you to the system and warning that the enemy fleet had been detected in a neighboring system massing to attack. The Fury of the Wormstar, the colossal bioship who's belly you rode in, stretches out its massive armored limbs and gnashes its ship-destroying beak in building excitement.

Finally the Beast would live up to it's new name, eager to prove itself and bring terror to these alien invaders. It's mind was cruel and malicious, a perfect fit for what would surely become a greatly feared legend of the New Necrotic Armada.

Should we make more think tanks? We do only have 200 of them and 50 demis

Maybe we should boost that to 1000/250?
>>
>>46866131
Oh, can we retroactively add ship order to the end of the past thread? Leaving resources and not doing anything to them sucks.
>>
>>46866774
I was actually just about to address that.

Because of the thread hitting bump limit and falling off before an order list could be put up and agreed upon players can post one during the thread and it will be retroactively added.

Looks good, but I'd like to note we've already constructed AOMBS systems and sheilds on Horizon's Drop an our capital, but we should add enough power stations to this order to power all of our cities and biomass farms.

10 Solar Powerstations (existing Biomass Farms): 20000B 15000
6 Solar Powerstations (planned Biomass Farms): 12000B 9000M
6 Solar Powerstations (Iti'a'Ropku): 12000B 9000M
20 Void-Nova Bombs: 20000B 4000M

Also, regarding the current number of active pylons, I believe we have the following in action.

10,000 small craft: 500 pylons
3,000 sub capitols: 600 pylons
500 capitols: 250 pylons

Can we start work on ambient crystal sponges?

Designed to absorb the excess ambient energy of living creatures that would normally be wasted we can capture store as use for training necromancers etc

Possibly weaponise it to drain living essence at range or a bomb design for draining life while leaving material unharmed
>>

Uh, dude, I think you miscalculated the cost of the ships there. It looks like you took the base cost of the hull without using the costs of the pre-made ship designs further down in the pastebin. A fully equipped common nail costs 10B 55M for example, with a piercing nail costing 30B 65M. Sorry to be a buzzkill, I still like the balanced look of the order.

While on the subject of ship construction, the discussion of torpedo boats in the last thread inspired me to come up with a new ship design, how's it look?

Torpedo Ship
Battlecruiser: 200B 500M
4 Pike Missile Bays: 240M
6 Jammer Missile Pods: 120M
3 Hull Spine Cannons
8 Fixed Voidflayers
10 Turret Chain Flensers
8 Auxiliary Molten Scrapguns
2 Boarding Pod launchers
Weaponized Tractor Beam: 60B 60M
Reinforced Shielding: 40B 40M

There is a flash of light as the Wick, corvette of Confederate make, exits it's wormhole in the Veraga system home to one of the most populous of the Confederacy's planets. A yellow star burns bright, its light reflected by the host of planets and a thick asteroid field from a pair of ancient planets that ground each other to pieces.

Buddy sits in the bridge with his partners, a male Netu named Clud and a Vorh woman by the name of Eigha. The Vorh steers the ship toward a world surrounded with heavy traffic, the world of Veraga Prime. A Confederate fleet floatis in orbit and surrounds the heavily industrialized moon where scaffolds surrounded the frames of new ships being built by swarms of drones.

A patrol of Confederate fighters and a corvette slowly approach as the Wick drifts on momentum alone and a hail comes over the line asking for identification and reason for visit. Buddy clears his throat and they send over the randomly generated ship identifier code and claims to be potential traders looking to visit one of the many markets on the surface.

There is a moment as sensors alert them to scanners being swept across the ship and there was a long concerning silence from the patrol as fighters moved to glide alongside with the Corvette looming over them. Finally after several nerve-wracking moments a message comes through wishing them well before the ships resume their patrol.

Buddy sighs and slouches in the command chair, glancing at the Demi-Think Tank floating beside him and projecting a holographic bust of a tired looking Jor who nods, wishing them luck before the connection cuts.

The Wick continues its journey to Veraga Prime with its payload of narcotikelp hidden within its floors and walls.

Within Bastion the Ahkam fleets have mainly been routed but they have placed many forces on the ground and seas. Lavafather ships made of stone carve a fiery path through Ahkam ships that skip into the system as reinforcements, Agona leading from the cramped cockpit of a stone ship the Lavafather had loaned her. The Destroyer sized ship was a heavily armed spire of stone, the largest of the Lavafathers fleet, launching stalactite missiles and melting through hulls with splattered magma. Obsidianborn crafted into fighters and host to Stonestar pilots duel with Ahkam teardrop fighters and Essat Gunships, obsidian blades glowing with heat carving through them or riddling them with burning bullets of semi-molten metal. Stonestar warriors and lumbering Obsidianborn Colossi of molten stone hunting down and exterminating the Ahkam with the help of Gargoyle and Cyclops sentries.

Punisher Muic leads from her battleship in the skies of Rukor, defending against ships attempting to break her blockade while dispatching troops to fight against the Ahkam already on the ground attempting to free their indentured comrades. Reconstructed fight bitter battles with the Ahkam troops as the prisoners are knocked out by their domination spikes and hidden in the underground tunnels of the ructu. Several villages burn, smoke filling the air as the metropolis of ructu is attacked by strafing runs of suicidal fighters shot down by Crawlers and a pair of Terrordrome halves hovering over the city.

Neither of the Punisher sisters call for aid, too proud of their skills and fleetes, but the Ahkam reinforcements seem endless, ships appearing by Skip drive by the hour. To their relief there had yet to be the arrival of a proper Ahkam or another fleet by Storm Gate but they knew it could be only a matter of time.

Send reinforcements or let them continue their battle on their own?

Despite the protests from Agona and Muic Necrotic ships soon begin appearing in the Bastion system, launching themselves into battle with the Ahkam. Predator Eiton, disappointed at the mostly peaceful interaction with the Confederate fleet, arrives with a fleet gathered from Horizon's Drop joined by Jareth and several of the Voidknight Disciples in their Void-Terrors.

The Ahkam fleets struggle against the new onslaught as ships appear seemingly at random through the system to attack from all angles against them. Void-Terrors slice through the hull of a cruiser, soldiers vented out along with the atmosphere before the ship ignites when the reactor detonates. Several of your sub-capitols are swarmed by Esat wearing atmospheric suits, the insectoid soldiers using what looked like construction and mining tools to bore through the hulls and swarming in to overwhelm the skeleton crews of Talons and Stingers to reach the cores. There they detonate the explosives they carried to destroy the ships in suicidal attacks.

Likewise, boarding ships ensnare several of the Ahkam capitols with their harpoons and send their boarding pods burrowing into their sides. Obsidianborn send their own boarding parties, ships latching on and melting through the hulls to unleash their Stonestars to fight alongside Reconstructed. The Stonestars found themselves uniquely suited to fighting in low and zero-gravity environments. Their bodies allowing them to spin and swing through the air with uncanny speed and attack from nearly any angle with their multitude of arms, natural sting whips zipping them along the hallways into deadly melees with Tyrre and Epikor soldiers. No longer relying on stone armor and obsidian blades these elites wore armor and wielded advanced weapons replicated from your own necrotic technology, the sleek echinoderms a new nightmare for the invaders. It was easy to see why the Ahkam had originally tried to recruit them into their fold.

On Rukor aquatic Reconstructed launch ambushes against the Ahkam that attempted to establish bulwarks and landing zones on the planet. Leaping from the waters aquatic Talons and Stalkers charge from beaches and rivers as Cyclops pop up among the breakers, firing their spine casters before disappearing once more below the waves. The heavily armored Crawlers march across the islands, their cannons bombarding the camps from a distance or shooting down passing fighters.

Even the ructu attempt to fight back, several groups gathering the weapons of slain invaders and Reconstructed to fight back despite their frail forms. They had been slaves to the Ahkam once before and they were not content to merely let the Reconstructed hordes fight for their freedom alone. Several Ahkam patrols fall under ambush as they enter ructu villages, the crustacean natives attacking then disappearing into the numerous tunnels that run under their settlements.

The General watch as the Ahkam fleets begin to disappear with flashes of light, skipping out of the system. As Jareth and Eiton both loomed in on the battleships that had generated Storm Gates, intent on capturing the actual Ahkam on board one manages Skip away as boarding cruisers closed in on it leaving behind it's fleet that quickly falls into disarray with its abandonment.

The other attempted to escape as well but Jareth and his Disciples slice through it's engines leaving it an easy target for the boarding ships that quickly descend on it. Angered by the escape of his initial prey Predator Eiton rushes to board the battleship alongside Jareth and the Disciples, a similar boarding party to their patrons Lorgul and Nekris.

The hallways of the Ahkam ship fill with smoke and fire, illuminated by pulsing emergency lights and muzzleflash from an array of weapons. A Tyrre glows with sickly green light, screaming in untold agony as a pair of trolls focus blasts from their Flayers to melt the armor and flesh underneath. Stonestars accustomed to the darkness of their eternally dim world have no trouble working their way through the halls and enemy troops, lit by the glowing edges of their blades and the light of their blasters.

Talons grapple with Kosda and Epikor, teeth and claws tearing at flesh and armor with crimson and blue blood splashing across their faces marring the warpaint made from black Osjiic blood. Essat dart about with their buzzing wings filling the air with barbed flechettes that shatter and fragment into cruel pieces of shrapnel against the shields of Stingers and Trolls only for them to turn to using small flamethrowers against them, the fires rolling like liquid in the low gravity to engulf the screaming undead. The cheers of the bugs were quickly turned to shouts and screams as Stonestars and Shock Trolls rush through the flames with a Disciple at their head to splatter them against the walls with great swings of their Reaver Hammer.

Predator Eiton's cyclopean eye glows with Arc light as he leads his own pack of Stalkers and several Stingers through the corridors, following the sensation of a great source of Arc-power. Thumpers fire smoke and riot grenades and the undead dash through the irritating fog with sonar pulses guiding their way. Stalkers spit up clouds of venomous shardspitter flechettes from their wide toothy maws or drag screaming prey to them with their sting whip tongues to be set upon by the pack. Eiton's bone rifle fires thick bullets crackling with energy that punches through armor and exosuit with ease, his blades slicing through any Tyrre that managed to make it through the clouds of smoke.

Jareth walks calmly through flames and bulletfire, protected by the telekinetic bubble of the pair of Dirges floating behind him. A Void Flayer rests on his shoulder and he blasts away the automated turrets that drop from the ceiling or emerge from walls the the floor, the powerful weapon tearing the devices to pieces. A pair of Epikor elites wait at the end of a hallway leading to the source of Arc power further in, their exosuits elaborate and decorated with a large weapon held in their hands, spinning metal arms crackling with electric energy that they aim toward the Voidknight and his soldiers. Static fills the air as they fire their weapons, twin beams of electricity arcing to connect against Jareths Reaver Hammer and the Shock Trolls that rushed forward to absorb the blows.

The Voidknight calmly motions with a wave of his hand and the Cyclopes clustered behind him unleash a volley from their spinecasters. The Epikor screams are cut off as the barbed bolts of bone lodged in their limbs and torso suddenly explode, sending bits of armor and gore spinning in the low gravity. Nodding in satisfaction the Revenant continues his march toward the command bridge where he knew the Ahkam would be waiting.

Much like their predecessors the pair of Generals break through to the barricades to the main command hall that counted as bridge and living area for the Ahkam nearly at the same time. Under hail of gunfire blocked by shield and Dirge the Generals link up to discuss their plan of attack with the Disciples but a sudden cease in the weaponsfire makes them look into the room.

Coiled in a heap at the end of the great hall was a blue-scaled serpent swaying from side-to-side, hood flared in anger with crackles of arc energy flashing along its body. Its maw opens with a loud hiss, fangs like blades glowing with energy as it calls out, "Foolish aberrations! You have tarnished the sanctity of the Ahkam and you wi-" it's proclamation is cut short as the Generals and Disciples rush firing as their soldiers flooded in behind them.

Rearing back it inhales deeply as its body pulses with Arc energy then unleashes a powerful bolt of lightning against the crowd of Reconstructed, blasting several apart and cooking others in their own armor. Its second blast curves unexpectedly away from a Disciple dueling with a pair of Tyrre in bladed armor, the lightning striking the trio of Arc attuned Dirges that floated into the room. Their crystal bodies glowing bright as they drank the power of the attacking titan.

Revenant Jareth finds himself facing off with an Epikor in a heavy exosuit armor that pulses with Arc power, a large halberd light as a feather in its grasp as it chased after the undead. A leaping Talon is cut clean in two by a swing of the weapon, afterimages of its glowing blade distracting to the eye as it feints and thrusts. Jareth cackles as his own blows and strikes were deflected or dodged by the skilled warrior. Hearing a bellow of pain from the Ahkam he glances to the side to see his Disciples scorching its scales with pillars of Voidflame and the Epikor takes advantage of the distraction.

>cont
>>
>>46873050
A hiss of mini-rockets regains Jareths attention as they launch from a pod on the exosuits back, a voidshield thrown up barely in time to absorb the blasts. Yet as the shield faded the spear point of the halberd thrusts through to pierce his black armor. Shouting in pain as his bones crackled with the Arc energy the Epikor poured into his weapon as he drives the undead back. The Voidnight grasps the shaft of the weapon and a swing of his hammer snaps the handle, Voidflame roaring off him in anger as he swung his hammer at the startled warrior to send him crashing into the wall. Dazed they don't resist in time as Looms drag him back with their sting whips into the waiting grasp of Trolls and Talons.

The great blue serpent bellows out another roaring hiss as their bolt of Arc energy cracks then shatters a Dirge into a shower of bone and red crystal dust as they overload their capacity. The other Dirges react by picking up several of the spears and axes dropped by downed Tyrre and Trolls, launching them at the Ahkam with frightening speed. Screaming in pain Eiton takes advantage of the distraction, flashes of blue light marking his path as he teleported across the bridge to run up the neck of the lashing serpent. The Ahkam feels him and it twists, attempting to knock him free but he drives the sword made from their slain sisters tailblade into their back and clings to them, firing round after round of his bone rifle point blank into the snake.

>cont
>>
>>46873050
Lashing out with their tail, crackling blades slice through several Reconstructed as they dash with wide open maw for Eiton but the Disciples and Jareth thrust their hands forward, blasts of rippling void energy launching from their palms to strike with explosive force against its jaw. Its scream of pain was gurgling, its mangled jaw working uselessly as it's remaining eye roiled with pain. Arc energy surges off the beast, frying its own troops along with any Reconstructed that neared too close, the fury of its last desperate attack likely to destroy the ship if it was allowed.

The Ahkam was crippled and entering it's death-throes but it appeared ready to sacrifice itself along with its entire crew to kill its attackers.

Neither General willing to let such a powerful potential source of power go to waste through death they silently agree on their plan. Eiton lets out a hiss of his own as he begins to drain off the latent power of the Ahkam through the sword embedded in its back, clinging to it to avoid being thrown off in its throes. Jareth and the Disciples rush forward, the spear like points of the Reaver Hammers opposite ends plunging into the beast as they leap at it with ripples of Voidlight propelling them through the low-gravity.

The Void-powered undead could not assimilate the Arc energy but with their Reavers they could sap its power and try to prevent its attempt at taking them all out with it. Electricity arcs off their black armor with great bolts, Voidflames erupting from them as they consumed the power, Eitons form flickering and twitching as he glowing white-hot with the new source of energy.

As the undead feasted on the raw power of the serpent the remaining Dirges cracked open a bone case hauled by a Stinger and a collar much like the one sealed around Dne'tec's neck back on Horizon's Drops moon is lifted, Glutton Spheres pulsating when struck by the Arc lightning as it's flown close, suddenly parting into several pieces and snapping into place around its neck.

The Ahkam bellows in pain as the undead rip their weapons free and leap away as she finally collapses in a heap on the floor. The remaining Ahkam troops still managing to hold out watch in horrified disbelief even as the Reconstructed swarm over them.

As the fleets in Bastion turned their attention to routing and capturing the remaining Ahkam forces on Rukor and the Lavafathers moon Jor finally replies to the Daggers. He tells them a time and place to arrive and soon enough sensors show a corvette leave the fleet with a handful of fighters and dropships.

A guard of ships move to escort them to planet of Horizon's Drop and the corvette descends through the sparse clouds. Soon Drakes are flying around the ships, sharp screeches ripping through the air that makes turrets swing at them but the large Reconstructed dive down and away with indignant screeching to their roosts in the mountain peaks.

The corvette slowly makes its landing within the grand plaza of the city and a ramp extends to allow the Netu Clanleader march out with a guard of soldiers. His exosuit was a relic but looked formidable enough if the trophies and stolen medals were any indicator.

Jor stands in his full Necromancer regalia, Red-Leaf-Strains and the Voidsinger Commander standing nearby with Nekris. Reconstructed are arrayed sitting silently through the plaza, watching as they approached. Necrolyte Legionnaires watch from balconies and roof-tops nearby, several of the Netu watching their former clan members warily. Unsurprisingly the Daggers hadn't come unarmed like Jor had requested but he made no comment on it.

Instead he bows his head, Reaver staff in hand as he welcomes the new visitors, "Welcome Dagger Clan to Iti'a'Ropku, the Home of All Souls and capitol of the New Necrotic Armada. How may I be of service?"

The netu leader scoffs, spiracles covered and protected by their armor their voice instead came from a small grill in the armor and slightly distorted, "I am Clanship Captain Troma. I come in search for my blood-brother Captain Krotur. You hold his Clanship and I see members of my Clan wearing your armor and colors. Tell me what happened," he demands as he folds his four arms across his chest.

How shall Jor reply?
>>
>>46874959
Could always make clones to replace them, even offer this to the netu "we can supply you with combat effective troops who follow orders"

Regarding the missing scientists
"We do apologise but they are dead we took them away to work on a experimental drive that combined both skip and void drives, there was a catastrophic event (show after images of the facility) as you can see for yourself."
>>
>>46875013
"They attacked when we first woke up. Sadly, not all of them survived, but we managed to spare as many as we could; whom now serve a slave-debt to our lord. The Clanship was destroyed and your blood-brother killed in the fighting, though we would be happy to replace it for you, and would gladly engage in further diplomacy with you and yours. It has come to our attention your people are nomadic, perhaps we could interest you in a safe haven to trade, or a planet of your own?"

Or something along those lines if other anons want to trim it down/add more. I'm no writer.
>>
>>46875052
Oh, forgot to add in, we should mention that we are also at war with the Osiijic and anyone else they dislike. Maybe the Akham?
>>
>>46875013
Our lord Jaydk and sovereign lord of this system was freed from his ancient tomb he has risen to claim this planet and it's surrounding systems, how ever the osjiic had also arrived and did war with your clansmen

Jaydk in his wisdom defeated both parties as being of the necrotic his appearance made diplomacy, impossible so we have been ebslaved and yet liberated, he offers those who attack him the choice of service or dearth those of us who have paid off our service may live here in peace or serve in his legion but all are free once our debt to him is paid

How ever he does not wish to sow death he wishs to bring peace and trade, this we would like to offer the dagger clan trade and refuge as we are a small empire with few friends.

But make no mistake though our dread lord offers peace he does not shy from combat and those who would attack him are crushed and serve him in life and in death.

Now would you like refreshments or to see our pet arkham?
>>
>>46875052
Clanship is not destroyed, is it? We have no use for it, no reason to lie.

Tell them truths, half-truths and lies by omission but don't outright lie to them.
>>
>>46875135
Yeah, at that point in writing I sort of forgot that we still had it; sort of assumed we scrapped it for Metal ages ago
>>
>>46875013
I say we just tell them how it was. We can pay reparations but we're not giving up our necrolytes
>>
>>46875176
They likely wont ask for them back, slave-debt and all that.
>>
>>46875013
Didnt we turn the leader into nekris? Or no?
>>
Your brother deigned not to serve and so was given death but before his death he made a singular request that me be made into something, deadly. And so now he serves as Jaydks hunter, predator Nekris. Would you care to meet him?
>>
>>46875188
Yeah, but apparently he isn't recognizable since he can't recognize him, so no point telling them unless they ask imo

Plus, I'm pretty sure at the end of his life he accepted being made into Nekris, so, there's that too
>>
>>46875182
Slave debt is not eternal, I think. Like a year or something

With a quick glance to Nekris and the others then back Jor's helmet snaps back to reveal his tired face with deep bags under his eyes but the dark-skinned man offers a polite smile, "Please understand we hold no ill-will to the Dagger Clans, or any Netu clan for that matter. Our sovereign, Lich Lord Jadyk of the Wormstar," Jor notices the Netu tighten their grips on their swords hilts and the grips of their weapons at the name but he continues unhindered, "Gained his freedom after centuries of imprisonment on this world and claimed it as his own. While regaining his strength this system came under attack by the Osjiic Empire who attempted to exterminate the Dagger here and claim this system as their own. Your blood-brother arrived to battle with the Osjiic and the Armada moved to capture both fleets," he makes to continue with his tale but Captain Troma cuts him off

"And you took advantage and captured them both. We've seen the ships you have on your moon. Dagger, Osjiic, Confederate and even Ahkam. We've seen the Clanship. Tell me what happened to Krotur," they demand sternly

Jor bows his head once more, running a hand to brush his hair back out of his face and resumes, "I was getting to that. Yes, our fledgling Armada rose up to subdue both sides, as is our right and rulers of this system. Krotur fought valiantly and bravely. In the end he and the rest of his fleet accepted the slave-debt and pledged themselves to us. Unfortunately Krotur was slain in a different conflict with the Osjiic when they attempted another incursion into this system," Jor telling most of the truth but placing the embellishment to hide Nekris' origin, "The Dagger in our service have served well and honorably and they will be allowed to return freely once their year and a half have passed, as if Netu custom," he finishes with a short bow.

>cont
>>
>>46875446
Captain Troma thumbs the sharp point of his beak for a few moments before answering, "The Clanship, it is holy to the Netu. Will you release it to us should we trade for it? I have many other questions for you..." he clacks his beak in annoyance, "You never told me your name, servant of a dead monster and Armada."

Frowning slightly at the faux pas Jor motions to himself, "I am First Necromancer Jor. These are my compatriots, Red-Leaf-Strains," he motions to the Plainsrunner who bows her head, "the Commander of the Necrolyte Legion," the nameless Osjiic nodding curtly, "And Predator Nekris, hunter and general of the New Necrotic Armada, slayer of Ahkam," he turns back to the Netu, "The Clanship is yours as a sign of good will and will be returned to you shortly."

Nodding in satisfaction, "Very well. Now, this New Necrotic Armada, reborn from the ashes of the long-dead Grand Necrotic Armada, ancient enemy of our people?" he asks while unfolding his arms, hands resting on his blade hilts and the handles of a pair of elaborate guns at his hip.

Jor narrows his eyes as Reconstructed throughout the plaza tense and ready themselves, "A reborn and reshaped Armada, yes. I cannot speak for the old Armada but this one is no threat to you or yours as long as your actions around us are peaceful. We are even willing to provide aid to your clan through trade and sanctuary."

The netu looks taken aback by the offer, "What do you mean, trade and sanctuary? The Armada killed, consumed, and reanimated the dead, explain yourself,"

>cont
>>
>>46875461
Holding up a hand to calm the captain Jor continues, "The New Necrotic Armada wishes to bring peace to it's systems and the downtrodden. We have seen the cruelty of the Osjiic and the Ahkam. Before Jadyk was freed by my own hands this colony suffered at the negligence of the Confederacy. Only the Daggers that visited showed us any respect. Jadyk aims to provide a place of peace without want for food or shelter for the living. I offer you a chance at peace and potential friendship, should you accept it. You may even stay here in our city should you wish as official representatives of your clans."

Turning to look at his guards then back Troma releases his grip on his weapons and the guards relax as well, "The Netu was recruited by the Alliance long ago to fight the Necrotic. We were betrayed for our sacrifice and our homeworlds destroyed. These are ancient but painful scars. I will have to discuss this with the other Clans and Captains. I am sure they would like to discuss these offers and thsi new Armada in person with your Jadyk upon my return. Tell my people to serve their slave debt, their Clan will be waiting for their return," he says before bowing his head to Jor and turning to leave with his guard.

>Clanship Captain Troma departs to gather representatives of the other Clans, planning to return and meet with Jadyk himself.

Sending:
>Clanship
>1 Osjiic Destroyer
>2 Osjiic Corvettes
>1 Ahkam Battlecruiser
>2 Ahkam Corvettes
>15 former Daggers
>Large supply of food
>Fuel for their ships

The Dagger try to hide their surprise at the offering and they graciously accept. As they visited the rapidly rebuilding fueling factories to fuel their fleet Jor visits the Dagger set to rejoin their kin. Consisting mainly of Netu and several humans and an old kesh that had been born into the Dagger clan they are given fresh clothing for their trip along with anything they could think to ask of the Think Tanks before they left. Jor thanks them for their service to the Armada, telling them he deeply regrets the pain and horror they experienced.

A Demi-Think Tank floats by them one by one, a small flash of its utility necroflenser and telekinetic pull later and all fifteen have their domination spikes removed. A Talon passes by to slap a healing patch over the small wounds as Jor pulls down the collar of his armor to show his own scar, "Joining the Armada is never without pain. I hope you can forgive us," he says with sincerity. One of the older netu, their long missing arm replaced with a limb resembling a Talons, hugging the human to his surprise before they depart for the Clanship.

The Dagger fleet, grown in number from when they arrived, disappear in a series of bright flashes as they skipped out of the system to bring word of the New Necrotic Armada. They shall bring word of its ferocity, its industrial might, and it's generosity to their people and they will return soon.
>>
>>46876018

It helps when the head of the Armada is a literal conversation between a living subject and any Reconstructed or Think Tank
>>
>>46876138

I also imagine that it helps that Jadyk, whatever his faults may be, actually genuinely gives a fuck about the people and takes an active interest in his soldier's lives and health.

Speaking of which, we probably really should hand out those treatments for Necrotic radiation to them before they ship out, they have been wearing bone-power armour and using void / necrotic weaponry.

Give them necrodogs, long-lived versions of the devouring worms or pet eels. Maybe even give them non-combat Talons or utility Demis?

The effect of multiple shield don't stack.

>How are the Confederacy officials reacting to the news that their captain brought them?
Those would be spoilers. Dretst would likely say there is quite a bit of panic.

Won't be a full thread, just a continuation of this one if it hasn't fallen off.

>>46876178

Grave how viable is this plan. When we turn The nameless voidsinger into a Voidknight Would it be possible to do it soon before the void is due to consume him if we had the other voidknights helping us contain his power.also for his future name i suggest something interesting Eidolon. it is greek for Phantom.
>>
>>46876285
No one's been brave enough to contact him directly but it is possible. Usually they just speak with a Think Tank or Jor. Usually they request specialty tools or the like from Think Tanks for their personal projects now that they have quite a lot of free time. There is a Kesh chef experimenting with all the new foods, a few artists like the Vorh siblings (among the potential Necromancers) who helped design the look of the Necrolytes armor, and even a woman designing aquariums for pet eels and other critters for the other colonists homes.

Usually Jor is contacted by concerned citizens to mediate between arguments or make requests. It's still easier for them to speak to a living person than a Reconstructed even though they are growing ever more accustomed to their presence. The inclusion of "Necrotic Pets" could help ease them and future citizens minds as well.

glad you enjoy it, i feel it needs alot more work, not to mention the weapon is wrong, among a few other parts of the image.

Also, in light of the ability to remove the dominion spike, might i make a suggestion.

Can we make a new, "spell" using the words of the worm star, and call it The Wormstar Devoution" its spoken in the words of the wormstar and basicly binds them to Jaydk granting him the ability to sense them just like the dominion spike.

I figured this would be Jor's suggestion once he has gained more power as a necromancer.

"Master Jaydk guide us. Master Jaydk teach us. Master Jaydk protect us. In your light we thrive. In your mercy we are sheltered. In your wisdom we are humbled. We live only to serve. Our lives are yours."

You watch from the belly of the Fury as your Generals and living subjects deal with events while you are away. It would have been easy enough to speak with the Dagger Pirates through a proxy but you found Jor to be doing a satisfactory job in negotiating with the living. It seemed that the other factions found it easier to speak to a living person under the thrall of an undead lord rather than speak to the undead lord themselves. Clacking your talons on the armrest of your throne you ponder if maybe the New Necrotic Armada would or even should help the Netu race after their aid in destroying the original Armada.

Shrugging as you let the thought fade you turn your attention to your fleet spreading itself through the system. The sizable fleet you brought with you move to hide in the shadows of worlds or on the surface of moons and asteroids, laying in wait for the UON fleets massing in nearby systems. The Armatocere claim they were preparing to jump, the Yuyut ships relying on a version of the Skip Drive, likely tied into their ability for short-range instant teleportation.

The Fury of the Wormstar floats above the moon where the Armatocere had their colossal living station that resembled a war damaged tree, ships docking with large branches that reach out to grab them, branch and root twisting together. Across the surface were the remains of the large black petaled solar collectors that resembled giant flowers, an easy target for the Yuyut, along with the shattered trunks and hulls of dead treeships being harvested by drones that resembled a collection of sticks and dexterous vines.

A message comes through and a holographic image of a vibrant orange Sapling, the same that greeted you when you arrived, by the name of Pttr appears and you bow your head in greeting before its mechanized voice speaks. Despite the mechanical nature of its voice you could hear the stress it spoke with, "The UON ships are mobilizing, likely to arrive here shortly. We will provide cover from range but our ships are too vulnerable to them to enter close combat with them."

"Of course, Sapling Pttr, my fleet will be ready to intercept them," the flesh and bone and metal walls around you rumble with the Fury's thoughts and you chuckle, the Saplings eyestalks twisting in confusion, "The Fury is quite eager to face these foes of yours. They will regret encroaching here, you have my word," you promise.

The Sapling's leaves quiver as it nods and the transmission disconnects. Your fleet warms their engines, shields cycled and ready, weapons mounts performing last minute checks and you wait.

It is not a long wait though, gravity sensors alerting you to multiple appearances of ships throughout the system. You watch as the UON ships, vaguely resembling the Confederates but with bulkier armor, appear and shed their fighters and wardrones. A Destroyer class ship belches forth a cloud of the wardrones they favored, the drones smaller than the normal fighter but relying on their massive numbers, its dark gray hull marred by scars and repairs. At it's prow you spot the image of four simplistic trees painted on its hull, each crossed out by a bold black X.

The Fury of the Wormstar uncurls its arms, turrets stretching and swinging in excitement as it rises from the surface of the moon. It was ready to live up to its moniker, bringing your fury to those that would harm your new friends.

These UON would soon learn of the might of the New Necrotic Armada and they will soon learn to fear the sight of your ships. Death has come for them, defending the forces of Life.

This happened in Ghoul Quest too. Jyoti planned for them to rise up and overrun the city they lived under but they ended up becoming the center of a coalition of mutants and monsters that live in the sewers.

They have trade agreements with mushrooms, a wight cryptkeeper, and a clan of not-TMNT. They're even best friends with the mushrooms almost symbiotic at this point, befriended the "Queen of the Sewers" a giant albino crocodile mutant and helped her family grow by getting her a mate, and even on good terms with a hive-mind slime.

"Monster" quests are by definition shallow as fuck.

Monsters typically only murder the shit out of everything, rarely engaging in acts that actively require higher levels of thought and infrastructure.

So perhaps we should write up what we plan to do infrastructure designs story arcs
I was thinking we should induct the rest of the necromancers offer aid to the ructu by also offer them to be trained as necromancers gotta be able to protect thyself

Also do you think the netu still control the dead worlds tey where given? I mean considering we have terraforming tech we could offer to repair them and make then livable

Also we should talk with the plant people if we are allies we should both openly disclose who we are friendly / unfriendly with
>>
>>46911231
Besides helping out the Netu just yet, I think we should do the other two, the ructu are pretty much a dead weight right now and not producing anything useful, and we definitely need to have a vast info sharing with the Amatocere.

I've been having an idea for a good way to combat the confederacy. What if we send a disguised dropship to drop off stealth troops into highly populated areas in order to start a mini reconstructed base, which with the large amount of metals and biomass available will be able to spiral out of control. My proposed list would be:
>Dropship (15B 35M)
>2 Demi Think Tanks (5B 5M)
>1 Think Tank (10B 10M)
>1 Cauldron (20B 20M)
>10 Looms (180B 50M)
Total:230B 120M
>>
>>46911535
My bad, the Demi Think Tanks would be 10B and 10M bringing the total to 235B and 125M
>>
>>46911535
Don't forget we have stealth capabilities for ships now. 10B 10M per meter
>>
>>46911968
So we could throw in stealth for 250B 250M bringing the total to 485B and 375M
>>
>>46912169
>>46911968
Whoops I meant 10B10M per 10 meters
>>
>>46912303
Well that's way cheaper! New total is 260B and 140M
>>
>>46911535
Perhaps that should be phase 2 for buddy, he gets started on making an crime lord empire, once he's set up we send over a think tank to assist he uses that to shard would be gang members to ensure loyalty

After the necrokelp starts working it's magic and influencing the minds if it users we can lure them into the cult either through coercion or drug dependancy

If the drug is popular enough we will bet quite a few people in high place with it. That's when we also start shipping in dream stones to be marketed as something worn by the wealthy and elite (this would also help spread jaydks influence and this the people below them an so on) so we can win over the heart an minds of the people with Jaydk affirmative propaganda, why invade a planet when with enough planning we could have them open the gates and welcome us instead

It's much easier to wear a collar if you willingly put it on yourself

>>
>>46915275
We need to retrofit the fuck out of our fleet or start designing new ships. Half of the breakthrough tech we've designed for naval combat hasn't been used yet.
>>
>>46917053
This.

We could stick solar powerplants into every ship, the small vulnerability to Void attacks is insignificant to the advantages it gives.

I think the problem is that no one wants to bother with that. Not only do we need to update our designs, we also need to breaking down our ship list into fleets. Also we need to start making different variants of our ships, with different weapon types. Like Void weaponry, Solar, Arc, etc
>>
>>46917247
>the small vulnerability to Void attacks is insignificant to the advantages it gives.

What advantages did you have in mind? All I remember is the ability to "flare" for temporary increased output, but maybe that's enough.
>>
>>46917247
I'm not so sure about those solar plants. Aside from the vulnerability to void attacks, which is not insignificant given the frequency of our fights with the Osijic, it would significantly increase the cost of all our designs. That's going to be an issue if we plan on drowning our foes in ceaseless tides of reconstructed bone and metal.

I like the idea of using the Solar plants on a special class of ships, maybe sort of like our line of boarding vessels. This would definitely become more viable once we've unlocked Solar based weaponry. Maybe we could start creating entire series of ships aligned to a specific element or battlefield role, once we finish researching advanced void reactors we could go ahead and do that with void based ships.

Shouldn't they count among the Necrolyte legion since, I assume, those are the ones we resurrected?
>>
Guys... What if we combined the powers not like we are doing with us using 3 right now but instead full combined.
Think of each power as a color of the rainbow.
If we combine them we get white. What I call the power of equilibrium

We don't even know how many powers there are. There might be hundreds for all we know.
We can barely contain what we have already, we had to give up Arc powers to get Solar. Though, perhaps, as we grow stronger we might be able to regain it and get more.

I've been assuming this is now already one of Jadyk's endgame goals. Absorb each and every single elemental force in the universe and fully master them all, wreathed in a technicolor nightmare cloak of infinite form and power.

I'm guessing the people we used to experiment on

And then we exit this universe, after making our own to retreat to. A paradise like no other. With blackjack! And hookers!

Grave really fucked up on the power scaling if we're consistently talking about creating/moving to a new universr

It's only a matter of time before we fully master the solar element that has touched us, and after that we will be free to pursue the Arc.

>There might be hundreds more
I really and truly hope so. All will be mastered Jadyk, the Necrotic will consume all!
