Obviously spoilers for another quest
This quest is build on HMs first succesfull quest, Assassin School Quest, which began being about a teenage girl that comes to a school of assassins and needs to learn the trade and go on missions to kill people etc.
It over time developed into a supernatural mayhem quest when the protagonist (Layla) started cannibalizing her way up the supernatural food chain.
Several characters here will have roots in that quest, such as the druid witch (whos name is Kimberly).

The protagonist ended up bringing "natural" magic into the world leading to a monster apocalypse of sorts.

Important characters:
Layla: Countess or Brausburgs, The Cheshire Cat, The Cat of Ill Omens, Lamia Mother of Monster;- Enjoys Murder and Maria (and her family to some extent)
Deosn't enjoy- Things not prperly dying and lewd things (unless they're from maria)
Maria- Laylas wife, very possessive, a yurifiend, a bit anti-social shut-in, only somewhat accepting of Laylas murderous ways.
Kimberly-The druid witch here, responsible for... a lot of Laylas surge to power.

I sigh, as the silence of solitude fills this old forgotten tomb, as I am left with my familiar, Malizeral. I look down at her, and it seems like she's either passed out or fell asleep. Which makes sense, since she's been through a lot of stress. I frown as I slowly run my wing over the slowly closing wound in her forhead. I've always justified the separation as Greed is the "father" of Lust and Gluttony. They want specific things or things in a specific way while Greed just describes want in it's entirety.

Kind of like how Pride is described as the original sin.

I took theology for almost 8 years in school. We didn't really focus TOO much on the sins, but whenever they were brought up Pride was usually the main one. The others weren't as involved in the discussion.

I just sigh and rub my eyes after staring at the spot for a few seconds...well can't say I was expecting that when I thought of royalty, then again I didn't think this is how this would all turn out, so who am I to complain.

Okay that was perhaps the sec...third weirdest thing that's happened today and in my life in general. And besides I would like to know a bit more about what's actually going on. I walk over the balcony and look over the edge, and don't see a single hair or whisker of him anywhere, so unless he vanished somehow, he's pretty fast. And I can't just keep pushing this back, I'll have to fly back up to the rafter room sometime. And that time is now, as nervous as it makes me, I pull myself up on the balcony and stand up on it, take a deep breath, and walk off

I close my eyes as I start to fall, feeling the wind rush around me and my heart start to go into overdrive as a smile curls up on my lips. This is a little thrilling isn't it. I wince as I feel my wings move, and start flapping. I open my eyes, and cheer happily, my shout echoing throughput the colossal hall as I fly straight up, like a leaf on the wind. I've never felt so free before, It's amazing rushing through the air like this, I...I love it, it's just so fun, and I haven't even started flying yet. A little part of me wants me to push my limits, but I know that I'd probably get in trouble if any one saw me flying around like a fly stuck inside, so I'll just go up and tell iris, and see if I can get some feeling of...well all this strangeness.

Really I just want to lie down for awhile, but something tells me that I wouldn't be able to sleep, I just feel...energetic and alive, even though I died like...I don't know at least a couple of hours ago, which I should really stop thinking about since it's kind of hampering the rest of this day.

Besides I'm craving something I can't quite put my finger on, but it probably doesn't matter. I look for the hole in the wooden floors and find it, trying to fly straight up into it.

And, shadows swallow me up as I shout happily, alright I'm a natural this flying thing, that's good to know but I'm just glad I didn't know myself out trying to save some time, oh that was a rush~! Now I just need to stick the landing and I'm golden. I look back at my wings as I try and just slowly stop flapping them so I can ease my way to the ground like a majestic.

"AH!" I Gasp as I nearly run into the chain holding the bed up, and start tumbling down in my surprised. I cover my head with all four of my arms, wincing and waiting for the pain.

But then I feel something wrap around me and pull me back.

"Hupa" Iris says calmly as I land on the bed and she rolls over, flapping her wings as she stares at me, closing a book with her chin "So did you get my book back or...was Alexander being himself today, because that's a rather rare occurrence if so, and we should document it together, Mali."

"Well, he's going to get it" I say as I stare at her, not bothering to roll back to the right side up "apparently threw it at some one a few days ago"

"....you did talk to alex and not Karla right?" Iris asks, smirking with a short and curt giggle "huh, guess he got into mom's stash then, well no matter, unless you have any idea on how to do magic we have nothing really to do here until he gets back"

"And why's that?" I ask , as I push my self up,and look at her "I mean don't you have an idea about it"

"None at all, I was hoping you would but...you're not a normal demon, so can't expect it now can I" She sighs, her ears flopping over her glasses "So want to do something to pass the time, my familar?
