Namely a thawed out dead mouse. He sinks his jaws into the mouse from the hip. “Aw come on, Cuddles, that’s not how you eat mice!”You roll your eyes, sighing. You receive a text message. You wound me!” Winona frowns, holding her hand over her heart. You roll your eyes. What a joke. “Aren’t you going to apologize?”“I don’t apologize for being right,” you say candidly.“Wow.” Winona quirks her brow. “That’s heavy. Well…” She checks her watch. “Time to get to work.” You both wave goodbye to each other, then head onto your jobs.--> SHIFT 14 (40 STUDENTS)You stare at everyone, trying not to make your frustration known. You suppose it’s smart, but they’re treating this more like a day out than a job.A job that involves cleaning over forty trucks before 3 O’Clock today. You check your watch. You’ve got to make these trucks all cleansy in seven hours. You sigh, then walk over to your shift supervisor, Lieutenant McLean. She sits back in her car, looking at you. “Think you can handle this?”“Don’t worry, Lieutenant, things will be under control in no time,” you say.She frowns, looking at your PT outfit that you wear right now. “I’m just concerned about you though. Why did you even bring this. “Well, I’ll check back around lunch break, beau. Try to have some fun with it but we do need to have these trucks clean today, don’t dawdle.” Understood. You nod to her. “Alrighty, beau. Laters.” She drives her car out of the lot.Good thing it’s a hot summer day, otherwise this job would probably be even more of a nightmare to take. You fold your arms, and your shift members all look at you attentively. “Alright, girls. We have 40 deuce-and-a-halves to clean up before 3 sharp. So let’s try and show some hustle and get them clean, alright?” One girl raises her hand. “Yes, what is it?”“Are you going to help us?” she asks.Hm. Actually, that’s a good question.> “Sure! At least the last time you saw it was clean. “Get me a sponge and some water.” The shift members all excitedly chat, happy that you’re going to lead from the front. “Right, let’s get this going. Come on!”“Yeah! Come on girls!” yells one of the girls, a short Hispanic freshman. “Let’s show those scum what for!” They all cry out a war cry and charge right past you, immediately splattering the trucks with water and soap in no particular.Uh, that- that’s not you clean-… oh fuck.--Okay, after having to spend an hour or so demonstrating the proper way of cleaning the trucks, things have settled down somewhat. You settled them into six even teams, to which hopefully they’ll each finish cleaning a truck in about twenty to thirty minutes, which means you should be on schedule to finishing before three O’clock today. You hurriedly scrub some grime and muck off the side of a truck’s cabin. How do these things even get this dirty anyway? You pull your sponge back, then wring it in your hands. In your haste, you accidentally spray the water right onto your chest. “Agh! That’s cold,” you yelp involuntarily. You shake it off, then bend over and douse the sponge in your water bucket. Need to show some hustle and-You look over to the girls next to you, who seem to have been ogling you. You look down to see your swimsuit shining right through your wet t-shirt. > Continue as usual.Hmph, if they can’t focus on their work, that’s their fault. “Keep up the good work, girls.” They nod frantically, hurriedly scrubbing even harder now. You stand up and arch your back, stretching upwards. Ugh, this is killing you, but work is work. It’s never easy. You hear a car horn, then find Lieutenant McLean’s car pulling in.Along with an ice cream truck and a food truck? “Ice cream!” They all look at you. You check your watch. Yeah, it’s about lunch time, you give them OK signal. They all drop what they’re doing and hurry on over to grab some grub and some cold custards and drinks.Lieutenant McLean rolls down her window, tipping down her sunglasses as she checks over the trucks. “Oooh, you’re already halfway through?” You nod. Ten trucks were done, another five were close to completion, another six were being started on. She checks her watch. “It’s only 11:30. That’s excellent! You might get done early.”“You don’t have any extra work for me, do you?” you ask skeptically.“On the contrary.” She holds up a finger, smiling. “Captain Spruance took note of your good performance yesterday, she told me to give you a Vacation Day as a bonus.”[1/2]

Then you pop it out. Agh, it’s getting onto your shirt! Dang it! That better not stain! You look up at him, and he stares at you. “… so how are our tanks?” you ask.“Huh? Oh, da. Honestly, this gave you time to reflect, you haven’t much time to do that ever since you got yourself a roommate and a crew and a few friends to back that up. From zero to hero it seems, like in Hercules.Still, you’d guess you were reasonably popular in middle school. You should’ve seen all the money my sister spent during that one year. It’s just money.” Hmph, just money.“Well, are we going to start practice or what?”Griselda nods. “Yep. > Radio Operator--Ingrid sits in your command chair up in the turret while you sit down next to Josephina. The height issue Josephina has is actually quite severe, you can see the top of her head visibly tap against the top of her hatch, which is why she elects to wear the helmet. “Ingrid, how do you like it up there?” you ask.“It’s really weird, there’s so much room up here,” she says.“I’d like to see that,” says Josephina.“Alright!” You quickly boost Griselda’s signal. Except, you were did it overzealously. Everyone groans and holds their ears in pain as the radio screeches in their ears. Okay, too powerful, too powerful! You switch it back to the normal position. “Alright! Target of opportunity, girls! I got Cupid on remote control running around in the dark.” You peer through the hull machine gun sights, and find nothing but darkness. “First one to hit him gets a prize!”“Get him!” yells Serafina. Their Pershing immediately speeds off into the darkness, only to suddenly find its tracks explode and have it be immobilized.“Oh, by the way, I laid training mines on the ground,” says Griselda. Those are a thing!?“Well, I’m content to sit back and wait,” says Iris.“Same,” says Patton. “Sometimes you have to let the enemy come to you. I read those books don’t you know!”Great, are you going to sit around too? “I see it,” says Ingrid as she stands out of the hatch. “I can barely get eyes on it though. It’s just a blob out there.”“Distance?” asks Stack. Ingrid shrugs, unsure. “Alright. Ellie.” You look up at Stack. “Take the hull gun. Fire into the darkness. You got tracer rounds, that’ll help us pinpoint the distance to target through the darkness.”“Tracers point both ways,” mutters Winona. The machine gun? Hm. You take the trigger in your hand, and rest the stock against your shoulder. Let’s see how this works. You squeeze the trigger.[1/3]
>>46446660[2/2]And immediately your ears ring as the gun squirts a barrage of yellow bullets right across the way. You see a few plink off of Cupid’s side armor. Sweet Mary and Joseph, your body is shaking, your cheeks are flush. What- what feeling is this!? “There!” says Stack. “Got distance?” Seeing Cupid in the distance, the other tanks fire off into the distance, trying to get the tank as well. All they do is miss horribly.“Five hundred meters!” says Winona. “Targeting!”“Fire at will,” says Ingrid. The tank rumbles from the shot. You take a look through your sights, and see the shot plink off of Cupid’s turret side. “Ah, close.”“Good shot though!” yells Griselda. You sigh, stroking the butt of the machine gun. You like this. You’re jealous of Ingrid now.--“Good practice, everybody!” says Griselda. Everyone sleepily stand around. You check your watch. 11 PM!? Jesus Christ.> + 5 TALENT TO ALL CREWMEMBERSOleg claps to the side, along with all the other boys. “Yeah, way to show that tank who’s boss!” yells one of them. “Whoooo!” You roll your eyes. Ugh, boys. So primal.“Go ahead and get some rest. You earned it. For those of you who want to spend the night in the Tank Hangars, the bunks are open,” says Griselda. The Poles all gasp, then immediately hurry into the Tank Hangar’s living quarters. Figures. “Iris?”Iris takes a sip of tea. “We are above that, I am afraid. Good night, Griselda.” The Etiquette Society bows to Griselda, then turns and leaves. The Junior Historians also turn tail and walk away, apparently having their own place to stay for the night.Oleg walks over to you, smiling. “Was good practice, da? Reminds me of Tankathalon days.” You, Griselda, and your crew look at him skeptically. “What. My activities were perfectly legal.” He looks to you in particular. “Though, you, solnyshka. It was still a single bedroom with a bathroom and a kitchen area near the doorway. But, there was so much space! Plus, there were models of tanks everywhere, including some tank shells too. Overall, this was the home of a tankery fan it seems.Even Griselda herself had changed into a camo pattern nightgown. She paces around the room, reading off of a spreadsheet. “So Camp Gagetown is the floating Military Academy of Canada, recruits primarily girls and boys who want to go into the military, spits out good officers and soldiers, yadda yadda, the thing we’re looking at is tanks.” She looks over at you all. “… guys, come on.”This table-leg-warmy-thinger is so fucking comfortable holy shit. Josephina herself was already asleep, while you and everyone else were barely struggling to stay awake. “Can we just do this in the morning?” asks Stack.“I knew the warming-table-lap-thingamajig was a bad idea,” she mutters. She sighs, rubbing her face. “Well, here’s the lineup anyway.” She places it down for you all to see.> CAMP GAGETOWN> Commanding: Meryl Hoffmeister> 3RD IN DIVISION LAST YEAR> Camp Gagetown is the most prestigious military academy of Canada, and as a result its students are well-disciplined and ready for induction into either the Military or the RCMP. Its lineup of tanks includes a set of vehicles revolving around the Grizzly tank and the Sherman medium line, including SPAA and SPG vehicles, with a few mobile Stuart tanks as light recon support[1/2]
>>46447911thanks so much for your hard work!whatever you did
>>46448008[2/2]> Its tactics largely revolve around standard military principle of find-fix-flank-finish. Once they see you, they will attempt to hold you in place with suppressive fire from long range, while mobile elements attempt to flank from the sides or the rear. While balanced, Gagetown does not seem to be able to adapt to uneven circumstances, unlike the other Canadian school Sherbrooke Girls High.> Its current lineup includes:> Grizzly I tank w/17 Pounder x 1 (ELITE)> Grizzly I tank x 15> Skink SPAA tank x 1> Sherman VC Firefly x 5> Sexton 25 Pounder SPG x 10> M4A4 Sherman x 10> M5A1 Stuart x 5> Note: Commander Hoffmeister has gone on recording saying she will respect even matching only on elimination fights. now i see the timeline here now i caught up the thread along with the archives>after lga wins senior council is graduated>since one crew was available griselda immediately fills one>spring competition with griselda in command>failed miserably>lga competition>let say they advance quite a bit but ended up with kursk as opponent>griselda as flag tank>frenzy>got stucked in a ditch>orloya sniped the ever loving tank grselda has along with other tanks>loseso that means Griselda here is a Sophomore and Gertrude is now Senior Class President also Betty Grable Graduated and Sealand takes tankery to make a 20 man crewis that right German or im just making up something something?
>>46448199Nah that's basically the gist of it.The spring ITL tournament (+ All-Star match) actually went rather well for LGA, but they were knocked down by Kursk in the semi-finals, that was before Gris-Gris' time. The fall ITL tournament where Gris did participate as an Officer also went well, but Gris-Gris had trouble adjusting to the role of an Officer. She frequently ran, charged blindly into traps, and did indeed get stuck in a ditch. They made it as far as the semi-finals before Gris-Gris was unfortunately sniped by Oryola herself. So yeah, Gris is set to become a Sophomore in the Fall, Gertrude is becoming Senior Class President.

You swat her hand away, leaning back on the floor and curling up beneath the thick comforter of the table. She leans over to you again, smiling warmly. “By the way, if you ever need anything-““I don’t need more money from you.”“Not money,” says Griselda. “A friend.” She places her hand on your cheek, and immediately your cheeks go red.
