Got two suggestion for you.

One is that we keep the original emblem. But we do it in the style of the Imperial Fists. The Hand will be enclosed within the circle and we change the iris in the eye into a candle flame.

The second is that we makes the flames look like a sun. A rounded slightly flaming circle with its flames directed slightly upwards. And the hand stays within.

It's not Imperial Fists/Imperial gold though, which is kind of the point.
The scheme is also overdesigned, with different colored kneepads and feet.
The choice of colors is also really unappealing in my opinion, with boring faded colors which are just not very striking.
Honestly, with the way it's set up, attention is being drawn to the groin.

The second one is both simpler and more striking. The gold is far more eye catching and the bone white works really well with it.
The green adds a little touch that instantly draws the attention to the upper body, which is something a color scheme should do.

We cannot forget that these are their formal/parade colors. They should be striking and recognisable, not faded and kind of boring.
