Hi. Sorry for being away for so long, but honestly it was ridiculous. It took my internet provider a week to revocer from losing some cables in a fire.

Why the fuck did that affect me since I use satellite dish to connect to the net, I have no idea.

The first one shows the map, the second one allows for a download. They both work.

I thought there was more open ocean between the two continents; it appears that there's a continuous chain of islands, which I would have expected would make ocean travel easier by allowing for lots of outposts and harbors along the trip.

Ah, the max size of the ´program i use to draw is 5080 poxels by 5080, so i had to shrink down something, and the empty ocean seemed the best choice.

Basically, the ocean is larger than it looks between east and west. I hope you downloaded it because it was a lot of work to make and the details get lost in the viewable online version.

Also, those plants around the desert are meant to be cactii. It was impossible to draw thorns on stuff that size and not completely mess the pic.

Alright, we still need to talk with Verdi. To quote:

Sleeping with everyone makes for a very soft and warm bed, but we'll probably need a bigger one in the future.

Morning on the islan arrives several hours earlier than in Albion, so we have plenty of time to cuddle with the girls before finally getting up to face the day.

We even make it back on time to share breakfast with the rest of our family before going to the campus.

Elysia and Alrond are playing on the living room's rug with Potria when we come into the house.

"Ah, Eldric, good morning." -the spiderkin girl greets us with a smile

Our baby brothers cry out happy to see us

"Ehl drik!" -Elysia cries out as we go into the room. She is still under 2 years old, but she's began learning plenty of words out of late.

"Ayyaaaa!" - Alrond mostly babbles, but he happily gets up and "runs" towards us.

We need to catch him at the end of his race, or he'll fall forth.

"Eldric, good morning." -Zoe is already up and in her uniform, with a white apron on top.

She looks rather adorable.

Slightly surprising, Stella is helping her with breakfast. She is still in her pajamas, though.

After a nice family breakfast, we head to pick up Mako, and go to school together.

At the gates, we are greeted by the sight of two new food carts selling breakfast to students. It looks like they are trying their hand at bread with meat in them.

No, its not a sandwich, but bread with baked meat bits mixed in.

"What kind of meat is it?" -we buy one and rip a little bit of the bread to look at the meat inside.

Taking a nibble, it seems rather sweet yet slightly bitter. It brings back memories of chinese food that this body has never tried.

The salesman is a birdkin beastman, with mostly human traits and soft looking feathers on top of his head, rather than hair. Other than that, he looks mostly human.

"Black Hog drops from the eastern dungeon 21st floor, young sir."

We take another nibble of the bread, and buy one for Athena, Zoe, and Portia.

"Thank you"

"Ah, it smells nice."

The girls happily nibble at it. The meat is somehow juicy when bit, but the bread itself soaks up most of it so it doesn't spill.

Let's buy some for later so we have some bread with lunch.

It looks like Athena is having some trouble trying to take bites out of it the way Zoe and Portia do. Well, she's much smaller after all.

"Want me to cut it for you?" -we offer her as we reach forth for it.
"No, I can do it."

Ah, is she trying to be independant? big brother wouldnt mind spoiling you a bit, you know?

Mako tries to buy one as well, but her shadows stop her.

Well, its their job to keep her safe, but isn't it a bit excessive? the chances of it being poisoned are really really low, aren't they?

We buy another piece of bread and have a bite of it before handing it to Mako.

As we are sitting in the mostly empty classroom (there's only about 2 dozen students in our class), we notice there seems to be an event in the gardens outside.

We apologize to the teacher, and go outside.

Nina is level 102, so she has no problem whatsoever resisting the push of the security staff. But, she's also a rather sweet child, so she hasn't fought back.

As soon as she spots us, she happily waves with both arms and wings. The staff behind her is hurled back several feet by her wings as she starts approaching us with a happy smile.

"Master, I found you!" -she says smiling widely
"Yes, yes, good work. Why are you here?"
"Ah... what was it, I wonder?"

She rubs the top of her head as she tries to remember.

"Yes! Master Tazar hired me! I am a de-livering staff. I need to deliver you...."
"You mean you are carrying a package for me. Right?"
"Is that it? so I don't need your liver?"

She retrieves a small package from her [Item Box] and hands it to us.

We sign the receipt, and she stands there looking at us.

We gently pat pat her fluffy head.

The harpy nods, and starts flapping her wings for takeoff. The wings of a lv 100+ monster make quite the gust as she takes off, further sending the security staff rolling away on the floor.

Well, with Nina's interruption, there was no way the classes were going to continue, so of course we got an earful by the headmaster afterward.

This is actually our first time talking with him in person. He is a surprisingly tall and muscular man, for an arch mage. He looks more like a viking than a caster, and his robe does little to hide the muscles underneath.

He's not a muscle wizard, right? I don't want him to cast Fist at me.

Well, in the end, the headmaster just reminds us not to bring pets to college, and gives us a slight fine.

Speaking of monsters, the last candidate was specialized in menagerie monsters. Its about time we spoke to him.

For now, let's go talk with the last researcher.

Verdi is a human from the easternmost country in the continent, Bastion.

A relatively young country, it is still an alliance of city states rather than a true nation. However, it has an unified and common code of law, as well as a national army that works more like a police force with authority to track fugitives and oversee crominal investigation across city state borders.

They were a very minimal part of the Gryphon Wars, as the conflict between the Portectorate and the Alquian Empire has become known, but they are proud of having fought for freedom.

Verdi is a short young man, slightly overweight, but very active regardless. In our old world, we would say he has a metabolism problem.

Despite doing plenty of field work and having more than a few levels in multiple jobs to assist his field research, he just cant shake those extra kilos.

We find him in the southern side of campus, overseeing some soecimens he keeps in special cages.

As we approach,. we notice that the cages have especial barriers not made by bars, but with magic walls.

"Good evening.Verdi, am I correct?"

The young man gets up (he was kneeling next to a small cage and talking to a small monster specimen) and greets us.
