Hey people, bit of a weird time, but I thought I'd run another one of these tonight as it's one of the few times I can this week.

As always, were starting from scratch again with a new setting and everything.

You are a Fairy Godmother, a magical and whimsical being. Your Godchild, Sasperella, has had a hard life. Her parents have both died and now she has been made into the house servant of her step mother and sisters. Tonight she sits alone in her room, looking out the window at the stars. Her step-mother and step sisters have left her all alone to clean the house as they head into the city to the great ball. Sasperella wishes nothing more than to make it to the ball as well, where maybe she could find happiness for even a short moment in her miserable existence. This is the first request you've decided to listen to, as you're feeling particularly bored and you absolutely adore balls.

You decide to make your flashiest entrance to date. But how?

To any newcomers, as a Fairy Godmother your powers are almost unlimited, but entirely unreliable.

> You can use magic to do pretty much anything.
> Attempting to use magic requires a write in command and a roll of a d100.
> 50 or higher is a success
> Lower than 50 is a backfire

In addition I may miss some requests, if I do, please feel free to try again, I don't consciously skip commands without acknowledging them, if yours got missed its probably because I planned to use it but forgot, or just didn't see it.

Feel free to recommend ideas for future adventures or how this quest can be run better.

We doing this again? Ohoho

Appear in front of God Child in a blinding flash of light, drunkenly singing sweet caroline.
>>
>>45796205
In a dazzling display of lights, colors and sparkles you appear before the girl, who attempts to cover her eyes from the painfully bright situation.

You materialize singing some verses from a tune you've had stuck in your head all night, then down the last of your tequila.

"I'm your fairy-mother and you're going to the ball young lady, whether you like it or not!"

"Excuse me miss, I think you might be lost, a little crazy and also drunk." responds Sasperella.

You start waving your magic wand around telling her you're for real. She tries to stop you, but you just put your hand on her face and shush her.

You spot some mice in the corner of the room, with a swish and flick of the wand you attempt start changing things. A bolt of energy shoots at the mice, but they scatter and it ricochets, bounching all over the room. It strikes Sasperella, who's rags turn into a swarm of bees.

You turn to the girl with a huge grin. "BEES!"

Despite just being forced into her underwear the girl looks at you with the most beautiful smile you've ever seen.

"You really are my fairy godmother, aren't you!"

Then the bees begin stinging both of you.

The two of you run around the room being stung before you decide to shape the bees back into some clothes. Nice ones this time preferably.

You begin to move your wand like a conductor and the bees begin to follow. You swirl them around Sasperella, landing on her in the vague shape of a dress. She stands perfectly still, shooting you a very concerned look.

With the bees in the perfect position you change them back into fabric, weaving together a very nice looking bee themed dress for her.

You think the outfit could use a little more so you decide to turn the stained glass window (which apparently exists now) into a pair of stained glass slippers. With a quick bit of magic they shape themselves nicely. Sasperella is hesitant to try them on, but claims they are actually not that uncomfortable.
>>
>>45796604
You also clean her up a bit, removing the dirt, doing her hair. She seems just about ready for the ball, now she just needs to get there, preferably in style.

Sasperella looks over her new outfit and goes over to give you a hug in thanks. You stop her and hand her a magical sword and sheath.

"Tis the blade of Esmerelda, Dragon Slayer Queen of Days Long Passed. Keep it safe, and use it well."

She seems confused, but quietly takes the sword and sheath and straps it around her back. You nod in approval.

>>45796696
Well this is going more smooth than any other magical job you've ever had did... (or any OPMUQ has) so why not spread the joy and start taking on two tasks at once?

With a quick spell you conjure a tall and mysterious looking stranger, covered from head to toe in rags. His hand is out with a few beans in them.

"What the hell? Oh come on lady, I was about to get myself a cow for a few magic beans. I WAS GONNA EAT THAT COW!"

"I'm here to help though!" you say cheerfully.

"I don't need help! I need a cow!"

You give the man a dirty look. Not wanting your help huh? Oh you'll help him alright, help him pull the carriage to the ball!

You fire off your wand, but in your anger you fail to aim properly. The spell bounces around the room. It heads straight for Sasperella, who you quickly give mastery over the sword. She blocks the incoming bolt and sends it flying at a mouse.

The mouse grows rapidly in size and changes shape into a cow, letting out a loud moo.

>>45796910
"You can have that cow if you want, I'll take the beans."

The stranger hands you the beans, not taking his eye off the cow. "Wow... you really are helpful... thank you madame. Do you mind if I eat it here? It could get messy."

>>45796942
As you think about it, you decide to give Sasperella some protection from various things like stains... oh and maybe while you're at it, protection from dragon's fire, and also swords and arrows and bullets. SHE'LL BE A WALKING TANK!

AS you begin casting charm after charm on her dress, it becomes incredibly stiff and heavy, to the point she can no longer move herself in it.

You decide to fix this dress scenario. With a spell, the dress begins to expand and change shape, Sasperella disappearing inside of it. The dress transforms into a metal carriage. A blood splatter comes at the carriage, but simply dissolves away. It seems the defensive charms are still working.

The stranger, now devouring the cow with wicked sharp teeth, like blades, turns and looks at the carriage.

"Do you want to drive the carriage?"

"Nah."

>>45797135
Well that failed. It'd probably be better if the carriage could just fly on it's own. You do your bippity and your bobbity and the carriage begins to float ever so slightly off the ground. You open the door and sit down next to Sasperella in her underwear. The seats are extremely comfortable.

"Were off to the ball darling. Make sure not to turn the dress back until I get out."

I believe you already have given her mastery over the way of the sword.

You decide to give Sasperella some more information about this ball. The king of the land, father to the prince she is all too eager to meet, is known as the dragon king. An ancient warrior who fought against the dragons in a great war many years ago. You fought alongside him, the fairies and the humans waged long wars against them, but eventually the dragons fell. The great King Charming took the skull of the Dragon Ruler and forged it into a mighty mantle of power, granting him immortality and the strength and cunning of a dragon. Since then he has ruled over humanity as the Dragon King.

Sasperella tells you she already knows all this. It's common knowledge, but everyone loves him. He's been a fair and wise ruler.

You're taken aback by this. You assure her to be ready with the sword and armored carriage regardless, just in case he tries anything.

The carriage arrives at the entrance to the palace. It's more spectacular than you remember. Not as spectacular as you are, but still decently spectacular.

You kick the door open and roll out a red carpet. You step out of the carriage and announce the arrival of the uh... to the girl, SASPERELLA!

The carriage transforms back into Sasperella's dress. The red carpet is coming out from under her dress, she trips on it and falls over. You look around to see you kind of just made a big declaration to the guards in front of the palace. They're holding back laughter as Sasperella attempts to get up, like a turtle on its back.

One goes to help her out. This was really quite embarrassing.

You are lead onto a balcony, where a man calls out to the great dance hall below.

"Introducing the girl, Sasperella!"

All the guests clap with the exception of an old, wicked looking woman, and her two daughters. They look furious.

"As well as... Her fairy godmother!"

With a quick spell while she's not paying attention you attempt to hide her from her family.

A bright glowing arrow appears over her, but only you and the wicked family seem to notice it.

Sasperella seems to be having the time of her life. She's met another young woman, with fiery red hair. You recognise her as Pyriana, she's known as the kindest and most beautiful maiden in all the land.

The two have rapidly become good friends and are already sharing their life stories. Pyriana is assuring Sasperella that she deserves to be happy, that her families death wasn't her fault, and that being trapped with her horrid step mother is not some kind of divine punishment.

A hand appears on Sasperella's shoulder. "I wouldn't be so sure about that." says the older step sister. She gives a wicked grin.

"I don't know whass happenung." she attempts to speak with her new forked tongue. Her eyes are slitted like a snake, and full of confusion. Her smile fades.

Doesn't look like you completed the spell.

At least the people are still distracted. You take this opportunity to banish the sister to a plane of infinite bees. You open a portal, but rather than her being drawn into it, a strange being, not quite human, nor bee, steps out of the portal. She looks around and turns towards you.

"I've been trapped in that dimension for what feels like an eternity.I do not know how long it has truly been though. There is no time nor space, no day or night. Only bees. I lost my mind... but then I found it again... thank you mystery warlock, for freeing me."

"Alright but then I'm free to go right? You won't try to stop me?"

Before you have a chance to answer, the snake starts slamming it's head against the mirrors. You look back and wave Rosella to go, she picks up the tortoise and begins to fly away from the crowd and out the nearest open window.
