Summer has grown old and withered away into Fall; this has a few implications:
-It's dry, it's very, very, dry and unlike in summer the sun seems to shine just a bit brighter, but it isn't "hotter". There's less cloud coverage and the wind gusting through the tower can be quite dangerous.
-The Pond Waters of FLOOR 1 have begun to slowly recede and although the quantity of fish has fallen; the few that remain are quite large.
-Most of the other naturalized levels within the dungeon seem to have dried out: leaving the pond waters on FLOOR 1 an incredibly important source of fresh water to both a variety of species of animals native to the dungeon. This has drawn out some of the more exotic or reclusive animals from the other levels.

+Current Development+ Night Falls.
- Night fall in your area has succumb to strange noises and terror in the nights- The local animals even seem to have taken notice and begin making themselves scarce just before nightfall. The halls remain safe, but ghastly noises echo out from the interior of the tower at night, but most eerily of all- many of your people swear they hear the ringing of "bells" at dusk.

+Spiritual Development+ Lucid Dreaming
-As The Technician becomes more and more magically literate they seem to become visibly more.. "distant"? Not physically, but mentally: they sleep more heavily and for longer hours, they've begun staring more intently at seemingly nothing and they've begun to talk to themselves when they think no one is looking. The biggest change however is the surrounding paranormal happenings The Technician has begun to subconsciously cause: items moving and lights being extinguished or lit by their command as they begin radiating an undeniable aura of the supernatural.
The Dream has begun to spill over into reality for The Technician.

They crawl, scamper, and scrounge around for any sort of unique or interesting foreign scrap of genetic material they can find with their grubby little hands and entangle with their long, mucousy tongues- but it turns out to be more of an uphill battle then their optimism expected and despite their best efforts they keep returning with samples and Lilith keeps analyzing and telling them, "Negative, no new or sufficiently diverse genetics found- I'm terribly sorry."

Despite everything though, they manage to find a few shockingly unique Genetics traits, enough to fill in some lost gaps:

The Apothecary boys tell both Lilith and The Technician that the Canyon of FLOOR B1 has become littered with unusual, rubbery, tentacle-covered creatures that have been sticking themselves to the ledges and the entrance of the stair case.
"Most of them are disguised as weird rubbery succulent plants, but some of them have shells that look like rocks. We only noticed they were animals when we saw them retracting their tentacles to swallow up birds or insects that would get stuck on their tentacles. We collected as many as we could, though, uh.. We later found out the plant-like ones had.. um, stingers."
One of the Apothecary Units tongue is has become so horribly swollen they can't fit in in their mouth- several others are GLAZED in mucous and shivering.
Everyone gets a long bath and a vat nap.

The Technician has been having more and more livid and graphic dreams, to the point that the others in their community have grown concerned about them. However, no one is versed or literate in the ways of the arcane or the magic and The Technician is very much on their own.
They try to seek guidance from Lilith, she awkwardly, apologetically declines,

They feel no sense of authority, maternity, or shadow- They feel a gentle, genuine aura of familiarity and casual comfort like a sibling or a close friend.

The Technician acknowledges the voice and squeezes their hand.
"I'm sorry you only get to see what I've turned into- as opposed to what I am."
The Voice slowly forms into a vague shape; small, dainty. They can see the hand gently holding theirs.

The dark sky over them turns into the cool horizon of an endless view of stars, the sea below them morphs and bends into ocean and soothing waves of grass.

"My name is Baba, Emily, Koschei. You were The Technician unit #13-B, but now you're someone else now." Upper body of a sickly, black-haired girl- her eyes are slightly sunken in, tired and sleepless. Lower body of a black, white-spotted, almost dark blue-hued emaciated horse. Her tail and hair are kept tidy, healthy and complimented by the only splash of colour she has- two bright red bows.
The two of them walk together, Baba Koschei runs her hand against the blades of grass within the dream, "I'm sorry everything has been so difficult, I'm sorry I wasn't there, I'm sorry I'm a frightened little girl pretending to be someone she isn't who desperately clings to the past and won't take responsibility for the future."
She clenches the Technician's hand weakly, "The real me can be here for you in the dream though; I know it won't make up for anything, but, it's a start?"

The Technician doesn't entirely understand, but they feel like they can trust them or at least grow to trust them.
She draws a small comfort in this.

Some of your Soldiers have become curious about the Jingling Bells at night and the noises that accompany them later on- Some of the Apothecary units as well are concerned since it's enough to spook all the animals and monsters alike to flee all the same.

They patiently wait outside, just at the entrance of the interior and the exit of the hallway; they keep themselves quiet, discreet, hidden away in case things get ugly. They keep themselves distracted but alert until night falls and they hear the bells chime in from above.
Clattering, Marching, dozens- hundreds of steps come echoing down the stair case; closer and closer they come down the stairs of the tower from the levels above.

Walking corpses & bones: armed and armored in deteriorated equipment, make their way down the stairs, lit only by a flew flickering lights of haunting blue flame that seem to accompany them on their march down the stairs.
Your Homonculi are thoroughly spooked and -in the most professional way possible- tactfully retreat back home.

Ooooh, okay, yes, that would make sense. Yes, that can be arranged- Might I borrow The Master, please if you would?"

-The Dolls are significantly less "hungry" and "needy". They don't require "less" attention, they're simply easier to please- they've been using their new found spare time for non-sexual hobbies.

-They have not, however; gotten over the wiggly, floppy, physics of their silly, pink, slug-like piece of new flesh. The have not grown tired of the simple novelty of childishly swinging it around.

The Amazon is just happy to have company- Everyone has been so awkward around them lately and it's been making her feel alienated.

The Technician notices and she quickly jerks her hand back into her lap, Embarrassed.

Your Soldiers and the few Salamander units have been carefully and more methodically patrolling the interior in hopes to reveal all the secrets your local area within the tower has been keeping from. If its a wendigo we need to be careful with it's genes.
All the strength and senses and other general advantages that come with these kinds of creatures would be nice, but in this case there are some very serious disadvantages we need to be aware of.

That said, different settings and myths can vary widely on wendigos. I'd recommend we check out the Master's books and stuff for any information we can get on this. I don't want to send in all our salamanders only to find out that fire doesn't affect it as much as it would in most myths, or avoid the hunger genes at all costs only to later realize cannibalism isn't required, any meat would do.

It.. It isn't correct: The thing consists of two lower bodies fused together at the stomach with their legs shuffling back and forth like some demented Quadruped, "O-oh.. Okay that.. Um.." Lilith leans over the vat- The Mistake shuffles back and forth; it instinctively leaning against The Technician who's slightly disgusted, "I'm uh.. I'm sorry, this was meant to.. I'm remotely controlling it but I didn't really- It has a partial brain, like, just a stem.. communicating with my own, uh..O-oh, no, oh dea-" The Mistake spreads it's leg, it's stomach seems to cave in and both of it's female genetalia turn inside out to feed a malformed, bumpy, heavy-headed and mucous covered tentacle that slogs and drags onto the floor.

Lilith is horrifically embarrassed: she turns inside out, spills out of the vat and immedietly swallows the the creature whole before it embarrasses her further.

The Amazon finishes her little interrogation after about 10-15 minutes, she then remembers she should probably clean the little guy up and take some "non-invasive" samples to contribute towards the vat's genetic catalog.
The little imp doesn't have any say in the matter and comes quietly and limply; he's had enough genetic samples for one day.

Down in the Lab The Technician is caught climbing up out of the Vats and notices The Amazon come down stairs, "Oh, Hello there- Hmn, what..uh.. What it that?" The Technician motions at the hanging, tired, red little body the Amazon is clutching in her hand tightly.

She elaborates on everything.
"Isn't.. Isn't that a little excessive?" The Technician seems sympathetic towards the Imp >For Some Reason<
"Ah, well you see sir he-" The Technician nods, "No, yes, I acknowledge that happened but.. The Size difference.."

About 30 minutes later The Technician is petting the Imp's head while he's wrapped in a Blanket, sitting in The Technician's lap and they are both quietly drinking mugs of tea with milk and mana.
They exchange idle chatter while one of the Apothecary boys politely collects samples, "Y'know, I'm not- I mean, you know I just wana be romanced a little- maybe given something shiny or a yes please or a thank you's." The Technician nods, "I'm not opposed ta' anal- it's just a little courtesy ya' know?" The Technician nods again, petting the Imp.
"You know's what I mean? Bite my neck, stick your tongue down my fuckin- " He just goes on like that for half an hour- his accent is so annoying and abrasive too.
"Y'know, you really get me Boss- us Boys gotta stick 'ta getha you know you're not like these otha's-" He then goes on for another half hour with his compliments; his suggestions become increasingly more explicitly and graphically homosexual in an excessive and offensive power-bottom manner.
The Technician feels slightly betrayed, but aroused.

With a 'small' escort keeping a respectful distance behind the Imp gladly shows and guides The Technician to their stolen treasure trove of pillaged loot hidden away in one of the alcoves of the hallway outside your Arcanum- Many of the soldiers feel stupid how close it was to their home and not noticing it sooner in plane sight, but on the other hand the hole is so small only The Technician can fit inside and even then The Treasure Imp is about eye-level with their Thigh.

They described it as a "hole in the wall" (pun seemingly intended), but it's actually quite cozy and adorable.. if it wasn't completely littered with coins, jewlery- there's even a couple of deteriorated bank notes. True to his word he brings out the Necklace and hands it to The Technician, "'ere ya go, no harm, no fowl. So Boss, waddya think a' me ome? It's got all da' basic conveniences: kitchenette, livin' room, piles a fuckin' money.. ME" The Imp exposes his apple-shaped ass at The unimpressed Technician.

"Listen- I aint no idjit, love; You's an Alchemist, aintcha'? That means you can make gold and hypa-thetically speakin' shower me wot in great fuckin' stonkin' riches, eh? Now, between me, you's and the floorboards- I'm dyin' out 'ere boss. Feck me, there used' to be LOADSA coins on dem stiffs upstairs, but someone nicked the Chime-era and now we's reduced ta' povety since 'dem fuckin' copses as gettin' lively 'tanks da' auntie Babas enchauntments." The Imp presses himself against the Technician.. though to be fair it's a small room.
