You've finally entered well into your 2nd year of independence from your deceased Master and since then your people have grown significantly; having come to terms well enough with their independence and individuality. The people have larger, longer and more vivid moments of independence and the first real step towards a true society has begun to develop in the form of a "genetic" caste system.

Previously: Mostly home economics & improvements to our living quarters as well as finding more about ourselves and the world around us. We craft a new "Salamander" flamer model homonculi and we get wind of a clue leading to our development and possible heritage through the name, "Baba Koschei".

Collect Genetics. Expand the Psych. Establish your Independence. Create Beauty.

+Current Environmental Development+ Summer 2nd year
(Cycle repeats: Summer)
Spring has matured and blushed into Summer; this has a few implications:
-It's hot, dry and humid and all three of these things in horrible, uncomfortable excess in any level with outdoor access.
-The stair case has completely dried out and there is no danger of traversing them. The pond waters on FLOOR 1 are also pleasantly full of now adult pan-sized fish.
-Most forested areas (particularly B1) have become completely and absolutely overwhelmed with insects: the sound of Cicadas in B1 are particularly loud and droning.
-Floor B2 ("Canyon" level) has been emptied of most flying nesting animals with the exception of 2 Wyvern couples who still have babies that won't be fledgling's till autumn.

+Current Development+ FLOOR 2 (Chimera Kennel) Mysteriously Clean?
-Floor 2 is empty of any bodies. They're all gone- yes, even the skeletons.

+Current Development+ Something in the Woods.
-There's something in the "woods" of the levels below us.
-No one has seen it, but the Soldiers are on edge; they can smell it's horrid, putrid, musky odor and hear it's heavy breathing after nightfall.

>Unquestionable and unarguable complete failure.

What had initially started out as a simple set of exercises quickly and beautifully gets completely out of hand:

A few of the Soldiers invite the Salamanders out to join them in their drilling and training exercises- something the Amazon unit didn't feel as though she needed to supervise, something they had been doing by themselves completely fine for months now.
Everything goes wrong very quickly and very dramatically.

-A section of Forest growth on the interior of FLOOR 1 is burned down to cinders.
-Now completely, utterly and graphically over-stimulated; The Salamander Girls come back home in the afternoon coated in charcoal, glazed in sweat and smelling of ash and proceed to: initiate what can only be classified as a "loud and brief lesbian coven" with several of the Soldier models before running a marathon of unsolicited molestation on the Technician- literally grabbing the small unit from their study, no hold-bars, on the floor.

The Kennel that had been used to house the Chimera kittens has to be used as a kind of drunk-tank for the Salamanders; they are locked in their until they calm down.
They desperately try to convince passing laborer units to let them out or bring them burnable materials.
They grind their genitals between the spaces of the bars of their cage- exposing themselves to the Technician when they pass by to try and talk to them.

The entire day is pretty much ruined and they don't calm down 'till the proceeding day.

>High end success, met with consensus and relevance.

With the recent... 'happenings' it seems pretty topical to consider safety and anti-fire measures; now more then ever before.

The Salamander girls seem to be under control for the moment, but The Technician orders and commissions the Laborers to get to work making and converting an area of the interior into a kind of fire and arms proof district and no man's land where there's no danger of collateral damage and any solider or military-minded model may brandish and practice using their weaponry.

The Laborers even find themselves a renewable pastime: remaking, weaving and crafting dummies from bundles of dried grass and garbage so the Salamanders and Soldiers have something to fire at- it's essentially at the moment just a "shooting range" in one of the abandoned round structures on FLOOR 1.

The entire military division is quite pleased.
The Technician receives appreciative kisses on the cheek in place of rough, spontaneous, sexual harassment.
Everybody is quite happy.

>Idea: Start experimenting with mind-expanding/mind-altering to create minds as diverse as our bodies.
>Roll 69/100
>HAUGHTY AND NAUGHTY 69; THE SEXY NUMBER.

The Technician is interested in expanding, making more complex and more individualistic the minds of their Artificial people and summons forth The Philosopher's stone Lilith.

The Technician asks her what can be done; what can explain and expand the spark and drive of independent thought and ambition in the hearts and minds of their fellow Homonculi. They've seen it in themselves, The Pilgrim and even Lilith, but the others remain still just a little stagnant.

"We're the only ones that have retained and developed a Complex soul: You and The Pilgrim Unit seem to have developed yours naturally and you graciously gave me a piece of your own to convert and initiate the development of my own.. But the others.." She slithers and rolls around in the tank, "Can we talk in the tank, please?"

They oblidge and the Technician climbs into the Tank and Lilith pulls them under and into their true body; if only because she wants to.

"Everyone but you and I have an artificial soul; like a lantern burning a candle- when the whick and wax are all gone it needs to be renewed and replaced constantly." She shuffles, wrapping her arms around The Technician and immersing them slightly in her mercurial, porcelain flesh and sighing in satisfaction.
"We're more like a pyre or an open fire; we burn and produce heat, energy, light so long as we're fed fuel. You and I will continue to produce Mana and intern become exposed to it and increase the complexity of our minds and bodies so long as we eat, sleep, and.." She rolls her long, clawed, hand, "Reproduce.." before trailing off a little, running her hands against The Technician's body before pulling them out of her.

"Don't you think it's Odd you haven't had to sleep in your Tank? You don't feel tired the same way anymore, do you?"

Tell Lilith to not make all the models that are going to be created in the future female, but male/genderless instead. Both so that not every single homunculus that comes out of the vats has a chance of trying to rape the poor guy, but also so that the rest of the civilization has other people to entretain themselves with, leaving the technician alone to work on his magic or whatever he wants to do.
>>
>>45541842
Well, I'll be damned.
>>45541783
But didn't the Technician had an artificial soul until Lilith did something to him?
>and.." She rolls her long, clawed, hand, "Reproduce.."
Does that mean that once a Homunculus's soul stop being artificial, the Homunculus in question becomes able to breed? Or was she just being lewd for the sake of it?
>>
Just a question, would it be possible to integrate ancestral traits from Lilith in new units?

"You and me have become something more than the Sum of our original parts; Even The Pilgrim -which I will never admit to the Unit themselves- is something of a marvel. We're the Alpha and Omega, we're the self-sufficient and completed Ouroboros. You might not have noticed it, but every day our people have to spend less and less time in their vats as well.."

Lilith Slowly morphs, folding her body slightly into herself, drawing a Claw down her true body and clutching The Technician fondly, "We have an unrepresented opportunity of unlimited expansion, diversification, perfection in a singular form is a delusion by those who seek immortality, but I've begun to ponder and I think we might achieve the next best thing... Though it'll take some time and effort." Lilith notices the leery stare of The Technician.

She giggles ominously and the entire room quivers, "Oh, no, no, no, don't worry, don't worry- I can't do it without you; you're a very important part of all of this.. You're an important part of Us." Lilith begins to lay back, the floor begins slithering out a spine to act as a support before it blossoms like a flower of pure-white flesh and into an arched piece of furniture to recline upon.

"Now; hold me tightly and don't let go- let me expand your mind, 'traditionally'."

>The Technician's Mana production has increased slightly.

The Technician goes out with an Escort of Soldier models so they might collect biological samples from the local insects on B1.
Another team though with Salamander's is taken down to B2 to collect any Wyvern, Bird and Flying Reptile Samples.

The Technician however soon discovers that catching Bugs is the single most enjoyable thing they have ever done. They proceed to get COMPLETELY out of hand for the first time in their artificial life and at the end of the day they've captured at least a dozen varieties of insect with several being different species of beetle.
"See, this is a stag beetle, this is a Hercules beetle and this is a Jewled Dungeon Beetle, you can tell because of the larger horns and the subtle amber colouration between the- " The Soldiers nod and gently pet The Technicians head while quietly humoring him, "Yes sir, very good sir, excellent beetle samples, sir."
The Technician brings out the single Scorpion they caught- the creature nearly as long as their arm, "And I'm quite proud of this one, I think we should actually cook and eat- " The Soldier takes it away, fearful it might sting The distracted Technician, "No sir, please."

The Second team comes back with several flying reptiles hung on a line like geese, several samples of Wyvern "fur", scales and scat.

Eventually The Technician's "buzz" from bug collecting dies down and after they throw their samples into the vat to be processed, admire the Otyugh tank, feed and pet the Chimeras and have dinner... They tuck into the Late Master's study for a bit of extracurricular Arcane Homework while the others slumber.

The room lit with oil lamps, The Technician Cozy in their late masters cushioned chair with a cup of goat milk, they quietly read and gaze over arcane patterns, charts, illustrated diagrams and written instructions covering on all the basics, advanced theory, principles and remedial of all manner of magical implications and schools: Elementalism, Druidism, Alchemy, Divine-sources, Necromancy, Eldiritch Study- it's all there and never before had they such drive or success with understanding these magical source texts.

>Perhaps too much success though.
>Baba Koschei sees an opportunity.

There's a slight breeze; nothing uncomfortable, but just a gentle, cold, waft of air from what is otherwise a windowless study. The Technician barely notices it, but eventually, slowly, gently- they hear a distinct chime; just a gentle wind chime blown and tickled by this spirited breeze.

The Technician responds before they completely understand the nature of their current situation, "Oh, well I've just got my Goat milk and I'm working through some of these Reference Texts. I've managed to power through the more remedial stuff and have moved onto the more advanced works- With that said though, I haven't really applied any of this outside of pap- Wwwwwaaaait a minute."

The Technician jerks violently to the side in their chair.
There's no one there.
They feel the same cold hand now on their other shoulder, "That's quite impressive, do you enjoy reading?"

"Well, generally, yes- I quite enjoy reading; I recently found out about Bug catching though and that's been eating up a bit more of my spare time in between work- NA HA"
They violently jerk to the other side.
There's still no one there.
The hand trades shoulders yet again. "That's good to hear, you know; everyone needs a hobby. Though, I think- What the hell is that." The voice cracks slightly.
The Technician looks over the desk, confused, momentarily distracted, "What is what?"
The Desk shakes and brings to attention the small silver idol molded in the shape of a praying dusky hooded woman on the counter of the desk. "Oh, yeah, that- truthfully I don't know. It's just some ornament or trinket I imagine left behind by The Late Master?"

The Technician feels the hand's grip squeeze just a bit before it loosens, "This will sound silly, but do you think you could cover it or turn it's face? I know, I know, but I just think it's a little.. creepy."

The Technician feels like that's a bad idea to listen to mysterious voices.

Thrust idol towards voice. Don't look because she may disappear when we look at her.
If she is only offended by the idol, worst case scenario she gets triggered but we can move past that in whatever alliance or relationship we have. If she actually is some kind of demon who is hurt by the very presence of anything resembling a holy figure, then maybe we shouldn't mess with that, and this is how we get her to leave.

Also, goat milk?
Let's put that in Lilith after this. That and any other biological material from any animals we have but haven't given her yet. Even if we have given her goat hair or something, let's see what milk does. I don't think we've experimented with different sources of genes too much.

From last game

>Baba Koschei reaches out to you within the void.

A light; cold but a bright and vivid burning blue wisp in the darkness. Gently humming and calling out to you in the distance, "No, no please no, Oh please, god no."
"Don't listen to her. Please, Please, I beg of you."

Maybe I misunderstood?

>Examine and Thrust Idol towards the voice.

The Technician gets up, resting their knees on the chair and reaches over to the Idol, they briefly examine it in their hands; It's made out of silver, but seems to have a sort of luster to it that implies a slight impurity of some kind. The Woman carved or molded into the metal figure is praying with her hands open towards the 'viewer' almost as if beckoning. The idol seems maternal in appearance and oddly.. familiar, nostalgic even. There's a small text inscribed at the bottom, "The Dark Mother" or "The Dark Lady" - The Technician can't make it out in this light.

They turn around with the Idol in hand, "sorry, I'm just actually looking at this for the first time, do you think you could make out the inscription on the bottom for me- Oh."
There's a very brief, but audible, "Tsk" of disappointment and frustration before both the voice and chime cease and the breeze seems to flee.
Whatever it was it's gone.
The Technician has to be escorted to the Bathroom that night as they are left thoroughly spooked.

>Develop new model: Apothecary Unit
>Roll 100/100
>Complete, unarguable, horrendous and overwhelming success. "100".

The next morning The Technician rises out of bed; pushing away at least 2 Dolls and 1 Plus-sized Doll that had come to sleep around and on top of them in the night and immediately heads down to the Laboratory.
Their little bug adventure the other day had given them inspiration for a new Unit Model and they had to get it out of their system and into the real world before they forgot or some other distraction or calamity reared up once again.

Lilith is actually still asleep when The Technician comes down, but that doesn't seem to bother either of them: The Technician quietly slips down into the Vats and squirms over, down, down, to where her real body lay suspended- still half asleep and twitching idly from her lucid dreams.
The Technician latches onto her from behind and leans over to her ear, "Lilith, I'm sorry, but I need to borrow you for a moment- I've got an idea and I just need to use you for a bit. I hope you don't mind." Lilith lazily splays herself out for ease of access.
>She doesn't want to admit this is one of her Fetishes.

>+New Model Unlocked+: Apothecary Unit
>Apothecary Units are modeled slightly after the Technician: They're small males with a fierce level of adaptive intelligence and an incredible overwhelming desire to experiment, learn, compile information and above all acquire and obtain new genetics. Physically speaking they're not very impressive: the same general height, genitals and physical disposition as the Technician they're not meant to fight, but to LEARN. They do however possess a few Unique traits and features: Explicitly green, lush, artificial hair that blends in well with foliage as well as a paler freckled complexion and an almost lime green body-suit. Their "main" feature though is their loooooooong drawn out frog-like tongue and they paralytic venom coating it that they can use to safely detain living organic samples.
>Apothecary Units are small, adaptable, little frog-like Homonculi boys; adaptive and independent, they're "free agents" who go out and seek Genetic material, but are just as happy staying at home and tinkering away on side projects or assisting their "Older Brother" The Technician.

The Technician makes and Cultivates a team of 12 of these Apothecary Units.

>Ask Lillith about the idol

The Technician also takes the opportunity to show Lilith the Idol that the mysterious voice had been disturbed by; placing it within the vat shortly after they had finished up with the Apothecary units and having Lilith analyze it.

She.. She essentially fellates it, "Hummn.. Well the inscription as far as I can make out reads 'our dear matron, lady of the dark' or at the very least something along those lines. It's some sort of Silver Idol to a Matriarchal Monotheistic Religion." She continues to.. mouth it suggestively- she still seems pretty warmed up from this morning.

"Hmn, Silver though is a funny choice- Silver doesn't necessarily have any specific alchemical properties beyond obviously being able to physical interact with ethereal or paranormal beings." She trails of a little, eyeing over The Technician to gauge their response, "Curse Hunters- Mortal or mundane folks use Silver to hunt supernatural beings and so- HEK-GEL" Lilith starts to choke, gag, cough, the laboratory shakes and rattles and she violently spits out the Idol before throwing it out of the vat.

"AH-LB-BLECH, BISMUTH. IT HAS A BISMUTH IMPURITY OF 10% AAHH-GHH.." She snorts, she coughs, she gets mucousy and her entire body shudders in revulsion, "EEgUUGH- Gahh.. Ah, keep, keep it away. Put it back in the Study." The Technician takes it, "What's wrong, I don't understand?"

>13!!!!!!! NUMBER OF THE TECHNICIAN!!!! OMINOUS OR UNUSUAL RESULTS!!!!

The Salamanders retain what can only be called put lightly as "problematic behavioral tendencies"; being sexually aroused by Fire can do that to a person.
Fire, everywhere. They love it.

They've been spending so much time though outdoors they haven't had a good opportunity to familiarize themselves with the Apothecary boys and they've finally begun to make their rounds: >>45545236 >>45545341 enacting biological surveys of the surrounding areas in search of unique and interesting genetics, reagents and other materials- shuffling in and out of the foliage.

They encounter one another in the field. They exchange serial numbers, genetic information and the Salamander unit then briefly exchanges the exchange by giving them a quick complimentary kiss on the mouth. The Apothecary doesn't entirely understand, but complies and returns the affection by sliding his long, drawn out, muscular frog-like tongue into their "Sister" Salamander's mouth in an act of misguided affection.
She is a little impressed once she catches her breath, nothing to write home about, but she enjoyed that more then she thought she would.

>The Salamander then finds out the Apothecary unit is capable of spitting up a flammable mucous.
>It isn't even designed to do that, it's just got a very high porous viscous quality to it as a safety measure in case an Apothecary accidentally swallows something alive the creature doesn't drown in their stomach and can be retrieved.
>But it BURNS, it BURNS without spreading, it burns bright and it burns relatively smokeless.

>Good, Solid, divisible by 5 reliable success.

The Chimeras have been doing well.
It's been months since you've detained them, but you've reached a point where they can be let out of their cages and be more carefully studied and understood as well as interacted with.

The Chimera Lion remains a little feisty, but he's opened up to the Technician as well as the Doll units and has stopped trying to burn or tear the soldiers to pieces, so that's progress.
The Kittens as well have become adolescents; growing in their snake tails and losing their spots as 1 of them turns out to be a boy and begins developing an awkward, patchy, mane of youth. They really turn out to be essentially just very large, weird-looking, dangerous cats- The Technician is almost shocked by how easily they were tamed. The Technician asks about the Chimeras,
"Well, no, they're not artificial- not these ones at least, anyway. But generally speaking they're an example of an extreme over-saturation of mana remediation being naturalized and rationalized over generations of functional survival and breeding. I'm sure the original creature that was their ancestor was some horrifying, unnatural, artificial monstrosity, but the Chimeras and cockatrices we see today have had thousands of generations to come to adapt and evolve."

>+STRUCTURAL GENE CATALOGUED: TERTIARY BRAINSTEM
>The Chimera's Snake Tail isn't actually entirely genuinely connected to the brain and nervous system of the rest of the Chimera: it functions, bites, produces poison and acts as a sensory organ, but it doesn't eat, breath and can be detached and slither off or be broken off and continue to bite enemies while the Chimera flees or goes in for the kill - the tail eventually growing back. It's an extremely complex, regenerating, limb.

>Complete and total unarguable horribly failure.

The Amazon unit leads a team of Soldiers and Salamanders to commandeer and take control of the Chimera Pens, Aka FLOOR 2. The Tactical advantage it holds is obvious, but the unknown resources and possible other materials it possess could be of great importance for the continued survival and expansion of our society.

When they arrive up there, they confirm the reports are true: The floor has entirely been cleared of any remaining bodies or skeletons and the new bodies mysteriously disposed of seem to be cleaned, collected or spirited away as well. The party begin scouting out the entirety of the floors features and landmarks- making note of the abandoned and rusted cages, the "body floors" with hatches on the ceilings and on the far end of the level.. What appear to be an abandoned and ruined either Alchemy lab or Arms factory? Some kind of Work space?

The entire area has just been completely destroyed; furniture has been burned and the surrounding area is warped and ruined.
There's a body sitting upright in the middle of the area however.
It's a suit of armor clutching a long sword in it's hands as it seems to wait patiently.
The suit of armor is emitting a dull light emitting from a small blue flame rising from it's helmet-less neckhole in it's armor.

The Armor raises it's hand and points at your scouting party, "Leave now, you chemical wenches. Your gaudy presence disgusts and disturbs me."
The Headless Armors voice seemingly echoing out from the flickering flame.

>Initiate with organic flames.
>Roll 17, 5
>Dullahan Rolls: 11, 12
>Failure, but high resistance.

One of the Salamander Units immediately drenches the suit of Armor in flame.
They don't even wait to receive the order; they're pent up, this level is creepy and they want to go home and be berried in Apothecary units with a Technician on top. They don't even hold back- their lungs expand, they push out their chest and their entire arm inflates before the muscles contract and a vocal, "snk- VWOOOOSH" and a torrent of red, hot, flame is produced dousing the suit of Armor.
"HAH, SO BE IT."
The suit of Armor doesn't seem phased at all, if anything now it is a hot, glowing, angry suit of armor drawing what appears to be a runic blade and discarding the sheath- dramatically throwing it to the side before rushing over to your party, "Clank, clank, clank" The thing is heavy despite being so empty.

>FUCKING KILL IT
>Roll 19/20

The Amazon unit doesn't have time for this; neither her Flamers undisciplined behavior nor the uncouth and impolite behavior of this metallic ensemble; She heaves up her massive bone mallet, readies to swing, the veins and muscles in her pink-fleshed body visible being to flex and coil as she tenses up; The armor drawing closer and closer-
>>45547376
>roll 1/20
>Dullahan Rolls 13/20
>13
The Armor is struck square in the chest, there's a loud, hollow, BANG and it immediately and VIOLENTLY falls into several pieces flying all over the area: gloves, greaves, breastplate, leggings, it just rains armor pieces for a solid minute with the chest piece rolling helpless before it clinks against the wall. The Flame seems to laugh, slowly dying down, "Pathetic" before it snuffs out.
The Amazon isn't so lucky.
The Armor's sword has been driven straight through her neck- she falls to the ground and the leverage from the palm of the sword hitting the floor pushes it entirely through and she's decapitated.
One of the Soldiers dry heaves. Panic.

Panic.
The Suit of Armor has ceased function- the flame has been snuffed out and it's been hammered into pieces; several of the Soldiers and Salamanders however are still trying to kill the suit of armor- stomping on it with their heels, shooting it with spines, burning it, denting and obliterating the plates of motionless metal.

The others don't have no idea what to do; some of them pace back and forth, some of them cry, some of them paw and tug at the body.
>They're not supposed to let their body die. They're the guards.
>They're bad guards. They're worthless guards.

The severed hole begins to pouring a bright golden fluid and one of the Soldiers still in shock covers the stump in an attempt to stop the bleeding, to try and fix things.
The Amazon's body starts to twitch.

The Amazon's body begins to pick itself up. The Veins in it's body turning a bright fluorescent gold as they pulse out vividly the entire body shaking, shivering and wobbling onto it's hands and knees. The Mana keeps pouring out, their core in their chest beating hard enough to cause their chest to palpate.

The Head behind the body, no longer dazed; begins moving it's eyes back and forth, opening and closing it's mouth as it pantomimes words breathlessly.

PUT THE HEAD. BACK ON. THE BODY.

The Soldiers quickly run over and grab the head; the body beginning to slowly turn and shuffle it's hands about as it palms the cold floor.
They then place the head on the stump and hold it in place- making as tight a seal as possible. The mana keeps pouring, it starts pouring into and out of the mouth of the Amazon's head and nose, they show signs of visible discomfort, but the longer it goes on the more responsive they become and it isn't long before their actions and movements become less and less sluggish.

Eventually this nightmare is ended when she begins to cough, hack, retching up mucous and spitting out the viscous Mana pouring from her face. She immediately leans over to pick up her bone maul, "Ish, ISHk, is everyone okay, wh-what happened to the Enemy? Is everyone okay?" She snorts, spits, trying to rise to her feet before she falls over.

The others pile ontop of her crying and assuring her that everyone is very fine and the suit of armor is very dead and that they are all very sorry.
"That's good. I'm happy I could protect everyone- I was, I was so worried." She falls asleep, she fell ASLEEP- her face is sucken and appears visibly anemic. The party drops everything, lifts her up and carries the Amazon unit back home.
She weighs a ton though and has to be carried back by the entire party, but they're glad to do it.

The Amazon unit spends five days in her Vat.
She comes out no worse for wear, but the entire military caste clings and constantly apologizes to her.

I'm thinking a morphology that focuses upon rapid movement, carrying capacity, and armored carapace. Basically, super strong legs and spine, sleek enough to get a serious turn of speed to intercept blows. A focus upon maternal PROTECTIVE instincts rather than combat focused directly. Obedient rather than leadership role.

They should imprint on a group during the beginning of a mission or something and act to defend the group, and be built to take serious damage, or pull even an amazon out of the combat zone.

We also should make a doll/technician fusion variant, specifically one for medical repair and upkeep.

But before we do ANY of that.

I want to have our Apothecary and Hunters combine efforts, and do a full biological genome scan of the floors we have access too. We find all the genetic data and take as many samples as we can.

That should give us options to build with.

You are briefly Baba Koschei.
You're tired, you're always tired, but you thought you'd make the commute down to the workshop level to see how that Dullahand you had placed to keep the "kids" under control was doing.

You drag yourself down there; making sure as usual to avoid the light until you make it down the 8 levels to the appropriate level- and It's dead.
They killed it. Neat.

You can't help but feel impressed and a little proud; you saunter over to the discarded, empty, husk of a body and pick up the collar of the armor to inspect the runes enscriped on it- they even stomped and melted that part to disuse. Now you're REALLY impressed, but you can't help but wonder if they only did that by accident.

Whatever. "Burn alone" you mouth to yourself.
You sit down for a moment, run the collar through your hands, spin it a little before getting up and making the commute back to your hall.

Just from this? I think we did the dullahan a favor personally.

She bound a soul to armor or something. That's horrible. Imagine if a being with a SOUL was bound as we were once bound? I mean, it's one thing for a being WITHOUT a soul to be bound, a thing without a soul, even if it has the POTENTIAL to have a soul, is a thing, it serves a purpose rather than making it's OWN purpose, as Technician and Lilith have.

If she took a soul and then bound it as we were once bound, took a thing capable of making it's own purpose, and forced it to HER purpose.

Well that's abhorrent.

>anyways are you not waiting for questions?
No I can do questions.
We can do questions.

>you've gotten slower- and it doesnt last very long (or as long as you did before)
Well that might have to do with two parts:
1. Is I've been trying to end these at around 11pm my own time for the simple sake of not dying.
I'm doing this entirely improved with the only real planning being the setting/world itself.
2. Homonculi Civ runs on a much slower micro level civ in general; each session is like a season at the moment were as in Cyclops civ we had to go at it like blap, blap, like snap snap baby- decades passing.

But, you're right to feel that way; that's a valid observation I'll take into consideration. I agree.
I HAVE been trying to work on the pacing though, full disclosure.

1) We know the soul is good because it's a baseline thing we have decided from the beginning. It's a starting point of our morality. Otherwise, why the fuck are we trying to get every other homunculi to develop them? Why did we go out of our way to defend Pilgrim so hard?

>>45549476
>We know the soul is good because it's a baseline thing we have decided from the beginning.
we're trying to homunculi to develop them because we are striving to a reason or purpose to live my friend, its much more deeper than "he is good because he has a soul" or whatever the case
>>

The militant arm needs more variety. Salamander was a mistake, but Amazon was a resounding success. We should certainly look into forging defensive units and maybe some heavy hitters. Oh, and "mana batterys" units for expeditionary actions.
