Better late than never

> Early 2000
> Be a teenager during vacation, good times with friends
> Decide to do a whfb marathon
> An hour later and three post-it full of scribbles, the DM comes back to begin this huge mission
> Spend 36 hours over the course of 48h playing

> An insane wizard is a true nihilist evil, she must destroy the world
> (Remember, teenager plot for whfb)
> For the apocalypse, she chooses the emperor (he banned her)
> Creates a secret society during years of hard work and magic
> Among the society's members, the most eminent ones get to have a reversed planet name : Sram, Repituj etc.
> Every one of them has a specialty, Sram is a weapon merchant.
> At the beginning of the game, the party have to investigate a mining facility being destroyed and angry miners being unable to go back to work
> Sram is leading a weapon smuggling network
> Repituj tries to build an airborne army
> Sunev is the nickname of the BBEG, the insane wizard who also runs a spy network using prostitutes in brothels
There might some other hilarious other villains but I don't remember.
> The whole thing is wrapping a mysterious series of events where mines are destroyed
> Turned out that they were harvesting mercury ore and bombing the place to hide evidence
> Mercury was the essential part of the magical plan to make the moon crash on the face of the Emperor, killing everyone else
> We discover that the huge winter fest in Altdorf is going to be the end, where Sunev would put all the refined mercury in a giant chalice and using it as magical ingredient to attract the fucking moon
> Epic clusterfuck ensues, Sunev gets thrown into the boiling mercury, disappears
> Half the bad guys get away using Sram's weapons
> Lose an arm in a mini blackhole, most of the party is bleeding on the ground
That was when I discovered that a scenario can be hilariously bad and extremely satisfying to play at the same time.

6 I assume is a joke.
7 is more a background element than anything.
15 is a one-scene gag at best.
29 could definitely be replaced.
36 would probably work better if the party did that as stated.
39 can go.
52 is once again best initiated by the party.
53 is once again more of a background detail. It could work in the right situation, but it's circumstantial.
57 is kind of a weak one.
79 is once again more of a troll move on a GMs part.
83 is kind of self-fulfilling. Not a lot of room for a story, so that can go.
85 is once again more of a gag than anything.
86 is once again a GM troll, though could be useful in the right campaign.

Party sent to put down lich with druids under his control; lich turns out to not be lich, is instead extremely ancient cleric of god of life, growth and fertility; druids turn out to be collective hallucination.

Referee of hotly anticipated local ball game assassinated, party drafted in to cover despite not knowing the slightest bit about the game.

Everything done in one night by insanely fast person, paradoxes ensue.

9 - I don't see how 9 would work as an adventure, really.
13 - Honestly, pretty standard fare for fantasy (other than the 'other planet' thing)
18 - Another great side thing, but not really an adventure by itself.
35, 43, and 89 - should be listed together
38 - Yes very funny, but is it really a good adventure?
50 - Again, not a hook, unless the Bard (somehow) employs the party to get his/her voice back. Wasn't there some fey creature that steals voices?
53 - I kinda like the idea behind it, but it's a shame there's no intrinsic motivation to go there. Not much of a hook by itself.
56 - Beating it at chess would probably be a boring or frustrating game. The wizard himself could destroy it himself if it's just a machine. Maybe instead, the computer got bored with the game and moved to fielding a real army? That would make it actually worth investigation.
57 - >>45520695 Party has to shrink down and infiltrate the beards. They end up fighting lice/parasites that have grown strong off drinking Dwarven Constitution. After a huge struggle, the party realizes that the lice were the ultimate power all along (hopefully).
63 - Then...burn...it...?
67, 69, and 77 - should be listed together
70 - should be listed with 65 & 66
71+ - To add to the list:
> Dark Lord travels through time to kill off the hero's ancestor, instead he results in becoming his own great, great, great, great grandfather. Decides to stay in that time.
76 - Funny, but again... so what?
91 - ....what....?

Anyway I've got a game starting about now; I'll keep the thread open and compile another image after, if someone doesn't. Make sure to link the new thread if you make it.

Sentient swarms of rats and roaches embark on a reign of terror, pulling out people's intestines and possessing the empty shells by filling the still warm bodies.

Rats in human hosts attempt to lie, manipulate, and deceive the locals, attempting to spread despair and chaos. They live in sewers and seek to manipulate the surface above. As they feed on human refuse, they do not seek to completely destroy mankind, but they do prey on the most idiotic and delusional of mortals.

Roach hosts, although deceitful, mainly focus on more violent methods of treachery, stabbing people in the back. They envision a world filled with rotting corpses to feed upon.

Enchant the book against fire then enchant the object into the book. Then enchant the book against any other means of destruction you can conceive of.

On a meta level, bring in a hidden object book, or photocopy and make the players find the object.

>the dragon is secretly the princess's therapist

>>45533030
There were a few threads a couple months back involving Tiamat becoming depressed for some reason (I think it was that her affections towards Bahamut went unreturned) so after trying and failing suicide enough times, she just kind of laid there and waited for some adventuring party to finally be able to pierce her natural defenses and end her existence. Her state had an effect on all the chromatic dragons in the realm, and the way some types coped with severe depression was threatening everything around them even more than usual, so the party is sent to find a way to kill her or cheer her up possibly by convincing Bahamut to give her the best dickings of her life.
