Well, if you hadn't heard yet before, I beat XCOM 2 a few days ago, with Niko pulling the game winning clutch shot! Honestly, Rochelle and Niko were the top performers in that campaign, though Cole was suitably OP as a maxed out Psi Trooper!

Anyways, let's get to the quest!

Twitter: https://twitter.com/MercCommand

Archive: http://suptg.thisisnotatrueending.com/archive.html?tags=Kantai%20Collection%20Pacific%20Strike

Other Quests: http://pastebin.com/g5TtAaee

You are the former United States Navy warship USS HOEL, now returned as a shipgirl and ready to kick Abyssal ass!

Currently, all of San Diego was in an uproar as a possible Abyssal attack was looming just over the horizon. A giant supertanker, once thought MIA, had mysteriously appeared just off the coast of San Diego, making a huge commotion. Helicopters were being spun up, troops were taking defensive positions along the shoreline, and noncombatants were being evacuated further inland. Just on the docks, you can see a trio of Littoral Combat Ships and three shipgirls hastily being mobilized to meet the potential threat.

Meanwhile, you, your sisters, and White Plains have gotten caught right in the middle.

"We've just gotten new updates." The unnamed Navy Lieutenant says as he glances at his tablet. "As you can see, that supertanker is heading right for the naval base, but there is chance it could change course north to here."

The Lieutenant points to a smaller bay just above San Diego harbor.

"What's there?" White Plains asks.

"Sea World." The Lieutenant says grimly. "That's thousands of civilians packed into one very small geographic area. Local authorities are trying to get everybody out without starting a panic, but the going's slow."

"I get the feeling that's not the only problem." Heerman frowns.

"Sharp." The Lieutenant acknowledges. "Sensor buoy readings are reporting anomalous movements near San Clemente Island. Not many civilians there, but there a military test range there. It may just be a feint of some sort, but we're not taking any chances."

"What, you got some secret weapon there or something?" You ask.

"Classified." The Lieutenant grunts. I technically don't have any command authority over you, so deployment is up to your discretion. I've got USS Wren, Daly, and Luce ready to back you up as well. They're a bit inexperienced, but they're Fletchers like you, so I believe you'd be a better judge of their capabilities."

"Well uh, maybe we should split up our forces." You suggest. "That way we can cover the most ground."

"That's a bold move." Red frowns as she brings out a map. "Now, Clemente has its own ground based defenses, and an airstrip for local air assets. We got two Perry class frigates there for defense as well. Sea World here is completely open, but thankfully the only entrance is pretty narrow. We're scrambling Army and Marine units to shore up the defenses. Now, the Naval Base itself is fairly well defended. The Abyssals need to get through this narrow mouth to reach the harbor by sea, and to do that they'd need to pass between Coronado Point and Naval Station North Island. That's a pretty formidable defense, but I'm betting the bulk of their assault is going to be here."

"And all we have are six Fletchers, an escort carrier, and a destroyer escort." The Lieutenant frowns.

Current shipgirl forces:

Fletcher Class Destroyers
USS Hoel
USS Johnston
USS Heerman
USS Luce
USS Daly
USS Wren

Casablanca Class Escort Carrier
USS White PLains

John C. Butler Class Destroyer Escort
USS Samuel B. Roberts

"All right, me, Johnston, and White Plains will hold the fort here." You say. "Sam and Heerman will head for Clemente, and I guess the other Fletchers can handle Sea World."

"Understood." The Lieutenant nods. "I'll let Command know. I suggest you all deploy right now."

With that, all of you head to the dock, where you could see sailors trying to get whatever operational ship present there into a battle ready state, though things weren't looking good. They're all so preoccupied with their tasks that they don't even notice five shipgirls dashing for the water and manifesting their Rigs.

"Ah man." Sam grumbles as she stretches her arms and legs. "It's been a while since I wore this thing. Feels like all my joints rusted up."

"They've got you stuck behind that desk for too long!" Johnston pouts. "Why the heck would they do that to a ship like you?!"

"Ahehehe, it's a bit more complicated than that." Sam chuckles a bit defensively.

You're about to ask her to clarify, but you're interrupted when a flight of Seahawks, packing missiles and miniguns, shriek over your heads, heading west to meet the oncoming threat. To you left, you could see infantry and tanks positioning themselves on the breakwater separating the Naval Base from the ocean, quite literally the last line of defense. As you loop around the breakwater, you can see a large, docked carrier to the right. One of the more modern ones with the angled decks.

"Oh, that's the Midway..." White Plains says a bit wistfully. "I really wanted to see her..."

"Maybe some other time." You try to comfort her. "Hey, maybe after this battle they'd let us go back!"

"Maybe..." White plains sighs.

>>45388708
To the left, you can see what you assume to be Naval Air Station North Island, sitting at the mouth of the harbor. You could see dozens of helicopters of all types sitting on the tarmac, rotors blades warming up as they prepare to take off. On the opposite side of the harbor entrance was Point Loma, a large elevated peninsula. On that, you could see the barrels of numerous howitzers and artillery cannons protruding in the sky, ready to fire on anything that approached.

You hoped it was all enough.

"All right, good luck, girls." Sam grins as she pats you and Johnston on the shoulders. "We'll go see what's going on up at Clemente. Don't get yourselves sunk or anything!"

"Ha, as if we'd let that happen again!" You grin as you punch the destroyer escort lightly in the shoulder."

"Be careful." Heerman says simply as she sails past you.

"We should be saying that to you." You say seriously. Heerman nods silently in response as she follows Sam out.

Up to the north, you could see the other three Fletchers, Luce, Wren, and Daly. They were stopped dead in the water, apparently receiving new orders over the radio as they're all huddled together, their heads nodding rapidly as they take in the new information.

"Hey, let's go see what's up with them." You say as you steam towards the other Fletchers. Johnston and White Plains follow close behind.

"Hey! HEEEEEY!" You yell, waving your arms like signal flags.

The three Fletchers turn and three sets of optics center on you and Johnston. Now that you've gotten a better look, you noticed that all three destroyers looked fairly similar, with long brunette hair tied up in long braids. The moment they see you, though, they explode in excitement.

"OHMYGOSHITSTAFFYTHREE!!!" They shriek as they blaze through the water, covering the distance between you in flash, their optics sparkling with light.

They're... they're not stopping...

Johnston moves in first, crouching low like a football player before reaching her arms out and wrapping them around the waists of Wren and Daly with a loud WHUMP. She then straightens up, hauling both destroyers over her shoulders like logs, their arms and legs flailing in alarm.

"Aaaaaaahhh!" Wren shrieks.

"Nooooooo!" Daly wails.

Unfortunately, Luce is just a bit faster than you, launching herself like a cannonball and slamming right into your chest with an almost perfectly executed tacklehug. The sheer force of the impact forces you backwards, but you fortunately manage to keep your foot and don't embarrassingly fall over backwards.

"Mrphmrmgmrmph!" Luce says happily, her voice completely muffled since her face is still buried in your chest. You tap her on the shoulder, reminder her to actually face you before talking.

"Ohymgosh!" Luce says quickly. "I never thought I'd actually meet Hoel! Ohmygoditsthebestdayofmylife!"

"Whoa whoa, calm down there, Luce!" You grin.

"W-wait. How can you even tell them apart?" White Plains asks in confusion.

"What, you can't?" You and Johnston look at White Plains curiously.

"Of course not! They all look exactly the same!" White Plains sputters.

"HEY!" Wren cries out, her limbs still flailing helplessly against Johnston's grip. "That's incredibly rude!"

"Totally classist!" Daly nods.

"You don't see US saying mean things about escort carriers!" Luce pokes her head over your shoulder and stick her tongue out.

"This is our first battle!" Daly continues.

"Ya know, maybe I should keep an eye on you." You say.

"REALLY!?" Luce's eyes flash like star shells and she instinctively hugs you harder, crushing your chest in just a bit.

"You sure about that, Hoel?" Johnston frowns as she finally sets down Wren and Daly.

"I'm sure you and White Plains can handle things here." You nod.

However, before anybody can say anything else, you see a quartet of Super Hornets roar overhead, flying straight for the approaching tanker. No doubt the Navy finally decided to put its foot down. You watch as the Super Hornets detach a wave of Harpoon missiles before breaking off, the missiles continuing on and slamming into the tanker, exploding and tearing chunks out of its hull, and the tanker explodes.

However, not in the way you expect.

Instead of exploding in a ball of fire, the tanker is instead torn open from the inside like an egg sac. Deep holes and rents in the hull open up and dozens, no, hundreds of Abyssal combat forms begin flooding out splashing into the water. Swarms of skull-like Abyssal fighters likewise begin flowing out of the stricken tanker like plumes of smoke.

And your radio is suddenly flooded with transmissions.

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Y8CM-CUE2k4

"Shit, come on, White Plains!" Johnston cries as she steams back for the harbor mouth. Behind you, the howitzers set up on Loma Point begin firing, each cannon blast booming like thunder and sending shockwaves rippling across the water.

"Hoel, this is Magic, I'll be your mission controller." You radio buzzes. "Aerial recon indicates an Abyssal battlegroup headed straight for your position. Numbers and composition cannot be determined at this time. Beachhead is not secure. I repeat, beachhead is not secure. You need to delay Abyssal forces until we can reinforce."

"W-what do we do?" Luce looks to you for guidance.

So I went looking for interesting tidbits on our new comrades. So far:

Luce was stuck in the same desron as Willie D. Porter.

Wren both has an extra 4.9 knots, and appeared in operation petticoat.

Daly received 9 battle stars for her work in both WW2 and Korea, which probably indicates she has potential as an ace, even if that's not anywhere near what Nicholas had.

"Then, what's the plan?" Luce sails up alongside you, a determined look on her face. You gather that Luce here was the impromptu leader of this little trio here.

You think for a second. You could leverage your maneuverability, weave in and out of the enemy formation and harass them with gunfire. Force them to focus on you instead of the coast. But you'd be taking a LOT of fire in that scenario.

Or you could start with an opening torpedo volley. Split up the Abyssal formation and sow a bit of confusion among them. The only issue with that was with the numbers disadvantage you had right now, you may not be able to keep track of the whole force if it breaks apart...

Meanwhile, supporting fire from artillery batteries inland provide what assistance they could. Shells rain down on the Abyssals forces, sinking a few unlucky destroyers, but they continue to press on, undaunted by the long range fire.

"We'll lure them away from the coast!" You tell Luce. "You still remember how to pull evasive maneuvering, right?"

"Of course!" Luce nods. Daly and Wren nod in unison.

"Good! Just keep moving and prodding at them! If you got an opportunity for a kill, take it, but don't go out of your way!" You instruct. "Remember, keeping them distracted is the objective!"

"Roger! The the girls all nod as you all sail straight at the enemy.

As you close distance, you ping the approaching battlegroup with your radar, and see the distinctive signatures of Abyssal destroyers. About twelve of them. Behind them, you see three larger contacts. Possibly light cruisers of some kind, and even farther back, you pick up a faint, but large contact. You can't even begin to guess at what it is.

However, you don't have a lot of time to think as shells begin falling about thirty meters ahead of you, the Abyssals trying to range their shots in on you. Immediately, you dig your heels into the water and veer right in a sharp nearly 90 degree turn. Your 5 inch cannons begin blazing away at the approaching Abyssals, and you can hear the cannons on Luce, Wren, and Daly joining in on your barrage.

"It's working, they're shifting position!" Magic reports. Keep it up!"

However, that's when you see it. Three humanoid ships zipping along as if they were riding a jetski. At first, you think that it's a trio of VERY unlucky tourists, but a quick radar ping and optical verification inform you that they are very much Abyssal. It looked to be the top half of human connected to an Abyssal propulsion device, a large white mask covering most of its face and one of its arms ending in a stubby torpedo launcher. They manage to break out from the pack of destroyers, obviously having superior speed and making to try and cut you and your impromptu task force off.

Looks like you found your light cruisers.

"Luce! You and your girls keep the destroyers busy!" You bark. "I'll handle the cruisers!"

"What are you-" Luce's query is cut off as you veer to the left a bit, bringing your cannons in line with the torpedo cruisers. Fortunately for you, they had overextended, and none of the destroyers are in a position to screen for them. Effective suppressing fire from Luce and her sisters prevent the destroyers from focus firing you as you close in. The 3 torpedo cruisers all turn their heads to you in unison, their arms vibrating wildly as they prepare to fire.

>FATE POINT used!
>0 points remain!

You draw your 5 inch gun and quickly bracket the torpedo cruisers with cannon fire. Two of the cruisers are forced to break off their attack runs, dropping speed and falling back into the rest of the Abyssal formation. However, the third cruiser manages to get a torpedo off and you watch it splash into the water, its motor engaging as it speeds out. You grunt as you dig your heels in, putting your engines in reverse while applying full rudder. The torpedo sails past just a handful of meters from you, but your quick dodge has put you on a course to drive straight through the Abyssal formation...

"Hoel!" Luce cries as they sail past, moving too fast to match your maneuver. "We'll loop around and assist!"

"Stay back!" You bark. "Just stick to the plan, I'll be fine!"

"B-but-" Luce stammers.

"GO!" You bark. You turn your head to see Luce and her sisters continue on. leading the Abyssals away from the coast. Well, most of them anyways. With you maneuver, you had actually cut right through the Abyssal formation, so now there was one torpedo cruiser and four destroyers standing between you and the coast.

"Magic, I don't suppose you can call in any backup for me?" You ask over the radio.

"That's a negative, Hoel. The Abyssals are driving for the harbor hard and all available assets are being diverted that way." Magic says apologetically. "I've got CAS incoming in three minutes that I can route your way, or if you can get closer to the coast, I can direct shore batteries to provide supporting fire."

Yeah, you were pretty sure that these Abyssals weren't going to let you do as you pleased. You could try fighting them here, breaking through them to reach the coast, or head further out to sea to buy some time, assuming they didn't have reserves further back...

Well, it was do or die. You knew that the longer you stayed out here alone in the open water, the more vulnerable you were. You were certain the Abyssals had to have reserves coming in, and indeed, you could sense movement on both your radar and sonar coming in from the west.

"All right, you sons of bitches." You grin as you arm your 5 inch cannon in one hand and draw your bat with the other. Your hull mounted turret swivels forward and your torpedo mount twitches with anticipation. "Thank you can catch me?"

You fire your boilers up to maximum power and you're lurched forward on a sudden burst of speed. The destroyers open fire, but you start ducking and weaving to dodge their shots, while your radar guided cannons return the favor, punching cannons shells right into the ugly foreheads of two of the destroyers. The torpedo cruiser swoops in from the left as it attempts to fire its own cannon at you, but a quick swing of your bat sends your weapon smashing right into its skull with a metallic CRUNCH. You can see its white mask crack and shatter as you send the cruiser flying several feet into the air before splashing down. You don't have time to confirm whether it was sunk or not as you speed back towards the coast. Your radar starts warning you that there were MANY contacts coming up right behind you.

"Hoel, this is Goliath Actual. Maintain current heading. Hit the beach and do not stop." A warped voice calls out to you over the radio.

"W-what? You want me to beach myself?!" You ask incredulously. "I'll be a sitting duck!"

"Hoel, just listen to them. Goliath will provide supporting fire." Magic informs you. "Additional units have arrived and are ready to provide support."

"All right..." You grimace as you continue to speed for the coast. You can hear the whistling of artillery shells as they sail over you, and your radar catches brief glimpses of the shells as they pass over and land behind you. However, you can't afford to turn to see the damage, as the sand of the beach comes of very quick. It takes a bit of timing, but you remove your Rig the moment you feet feel sand, sending you stumbling into the sand. Almost immediately, a pair of soldiers grab you by the arms and start dragging you further inland before hitting the deck. You manage to get a glimpse of the ocean, and your eyes widen to see a horde of Abyssal ships, easily over a hundred of them bearing down on the coast.

"All right boys, let's show these Navy girls what he Army can do!" One of the soldiers whoops.

And the entire beach is suddenly engulfed in fire, as freshly arrived Abrams tanks, Bradley IFVs, and Stryker ICVs unload cannon, autocannon ,and machine gun fire into the approaching Abyssal horde. Even the regular infantry join in, hundreds of infantry firing everything from their converted Beowulf M4s to heavy .50 caliber machine guns. Crimson tracers come down like rain as shell and bullet alike tear through the Abyssals. .50 cal and 25mm rounds punch holes through their armor like paper, sending black oilblood gushing form their terrible wounds. 120mm cannons simply obliterate whatever they hit, whether it be a destroyer or cruiser.

"YEAAAAH! GET SOME!" You hear one of the soldiers cheer. You get the feeling these guys were venting a lot of pent up frustration.

However, the one sided turkey shoot doesn't last. Just as quickly, shells begin raining down on the coastline. You see one Stryker explode outright, its hull peeling open like a banana, while a near miss flips a Humvee on its side. The radio is immediately filled with cries for medical assistance and confusion.

And that's when you see it. Another full humanoid Abyssal just off the coast. A tall woman with long black hair, wearing a black shirt and long pants. Her 16-inch cannons are still smoking, and your optics manage to pick out her smug smirk as she surveys the damage she caused on the coast.

Your gut roiled at what you saw. This wasn't just some carrier or light cruiser. This Abyssal was a full blown BB.

"C'mon girls, let's get them!" You hear Luce cheer. "Get those torpedoes ready!"

"Shit, SHIT!" You gurnt as you pick yourself up from the sand and dash back to the shore.

Damn, this wasn't good. That battleship looked about ready to blast Luce, Wren, and Daly all the way across the Pacific. Your 5 inch cannons weren't going to so much as scratch her, especially at this range. Grimacing, you pull out your bat and chuck it like a javelin, striking the battleship in the cheek with the heavy end of the bat. Your bat ricochets off with a CLANG and and splashes down in the water. Even with the loss of your bat, you achieved your aims.

And then it slowly turns to you, its eyes narrowing no in rage, but annoyance. Bitch didn't even consider you a threat!

"Torpedoes away!" Luce cheers. Behind the battleship, you see Luce and her sisters release their torpedoes, twelve of the projectiles screaming through the water and kicking up lines of air bubbles. If the battleship held position, she was sure to have a bad day, but you'd have to find a way to KEEP her there. If you tried to run, she'd likely follow, risking taking her out of path of the torpedoes...

"HEY! HEEEEEY BITCH!" You holler. "WHAT'S THE MATTER, TOO SCARED TO HIT A POOR OLD LITTLE DESTROYER LIKE ME? I'm the USS Hoel, bitch!"

Something about that causes the battleship Abyssal's eyes to widen. Was she surprised or something? Either way, the objective of distracting her is achieved as Luce, Wren, and Daly's torpedoes all converge on her, exploding brilliantly in a huge column of water.

"HAHA, EAT IT, BITCH!" You whoop. In the distance, you could hear the Army guys cheering as well. Guess you showed them what a Navy shipgirl could do!

In the distance, you could see Luce and the others speeding forward to link up with you. However, right ahead of you, you could see the battleship, or what was left of her, as she slowly sank below the waves. All you could see was her head and one of her arms poking out of the water, the rest obscured by a thick, sludgy layer of oilblood, debris, and ruptured organs. However, you were pretty sure there wasn't all that much left underneath anyways.

You hear faint wheezing as the battleship reaches her single arm out to you. Was she begging for something? Trying to say something to you?

The battleship's head then explodes in a shower of skull fragments and oilblood, staining your clothes and face and causing you to flinch away.

"Hoel! Are you all right!?" Luce helps you back up to your feet, her 5 inch cannon still smoking from the fresh discharge.

"Huh, what? Oh, right." You nod absentmindedly. "Thanks."

"Looked like that Abyssal was trying to pull you down with it!" Luce says with a bit of disgust. Behind her, Wren fires a few more cannon shots point blank in the the remains of the battleship, and drops a depth charge just for good measure.

"I got your bat back, too!" Daly says, completely soaked as water drips from her hair and clothes. Did she.. did she just dive down to grab it for you?

"How did you find it?!" You gasp as you take the bat back.

"Sonar, of course!" Daly smiles brightly. "Didn't seem right just to leave it after you used it to help us!"

"Heh, thanks girls." You grin. This time, all three Fletchers lunge in and hug you.

"All right girls, good job." Magic says, ruining the sweet little moment. "Your sector looks to be clear for the moment."

"What about the others?" You ask. To the northwest, at Clemente Island, you could see smoke rising as transport planes and cargo helicopters were desperately evacuating what they could from the base. The south, you could see the battle at the harbor was still raging. Countless columns of smoke were rising from the water, Aircraft of all types, both human and Abyssal, were swarming over the sea and coast. Things seemed to be going rough on both fronts.

"The harbor is holding for now, but the Abyssals are still pressing the attack hard." Magic explains. "We've already lost two Coast Guard cutters and the tanker is still advancing on the coast. Abyssals have already made landfall on Clemente and are hitting the base from both sea and land. Both places can really use some shipgirl reinforcements."

"Well, what's the plan, Hoel?" Luce looks to with an anxious smile.

"All right, girls, we'll get a minute break, and we'll head for Clemente to help them out." You instruct Luce and the others.

"All right!" Luce finally exhales loudly, as if she were holding her breath the entire battle. All three destroyers take out juice boxes from the rigs and suck them dry, the sugary liquids reinvigorating them, at least temporarily.

As Luce, Wren, and Daly were resting, you try to open up a radio connection with Sam and Heerman.

"Sam! Heerman! Do you hear me?!" You ask. "Do any of you read?"

"Oh, Hoel!" Sam says cheerfully, the sound of cannon and machine gun fire loud and constant in the background. It sounded like she was taking an afternoon stroll rather than fighting a battle of life or death. "What's up?"

"I heard things aren't going well over there." You say as you look at the clouds of smoke over Clemente worriedly.

"Both the Samuel B. Roberts and the Kauffman were forced to retreat due to damage." Heerman reports, obviously exhausted. "It's just me and Sam holding the coast."

"Wait, what...?" You blink in confusion.

"One of the frigates is named after Sam." Heerman explains quickly. "Anyways, if you're going to come help, you need to do it fast. The Abyssals are really pushing hard here."

"Got it. Just hold on!" You say.

"Yeah, come on!" Sam cackles with glee. "It's not fair to let us have all the fun!"

You then hear a pained, alien shriek as an Abyssal dies a presumably horribly gruesome death. Judging from the volume, it had be in close range with Sam...

"Hole! We're ready!" Luce tugs at your sleeve, snapping you back to reality.

"Yeah! Let's go!" Wren nods.

"Let's help them out!" Daly adds.

Overhead, a pair of A-10s swoop down like birds of prey. Seeing that there are no targets, they tip their wings to your little formation as they shift northwest towards Clement, no doubt being rerouted to provide what support they could. If you could remember from the map, Clemente Base was on the northern tip of the island, while you were at the south. The Abyssals were already swarming the west side of the island. If you came up from the south, you could hit the Abyssals from a different direction, putting them in a pincer and hopefully splitting their forces and drawing heat away from Sam and Heerman. Then again, you could swing around the relatively clear eastern side of the island and link up with Sam and Heerman to provide more direct support.

You steer to the west, where the Abyssal were making landfall on the island.

"Sam! Heerman! We'll be hitting the Abyssals from the south!" You announce. "Well try to cut our way up to where you are, so stay alive!"

"Better said than done." Heerman grunts as what sounds like a nearly missed bomb drops into the water near her. "But we'll wait."

Meanwhile, your small flotilla continues on, and you see dozens of large Wa-class transports making landfall on the island, their massive, bulbous bodies opening up to disgorge the land versions of Abyssals. Ugly crab-like creatures and skittered across the land. All the while, they were covered by packs of destroyers. In the air, the pair of A-10s you saw before orbit the island lazily, probably trying to spot for targets.

"Hoel, this is magic. Viper Flight is saying they can help clear a path for you to the base, but things are looking pretty bad over there. Do you need their assistance?"

"Just focus on protecting the base!" You tell Magic. "We can handle ourselves!"

"Roger that. I'll relay it to them." Magic says.

Up in the air, the two A-10s break off from their orbit and dive down towards the besieged base, their 30mm cannons chattering as they were presumably shredding damn Abyssals to ribbons. You, Luce, Wren and Daly meanwhile punch right through the Abyssal formation, blasting apart a pair of destroyers trying to intercept you.

"Shouldn't we take out those transports?" Wren asks as she points to the ones already landed on the beach, and the others still sailing in. "The more troops they land, the more it'll be a problem for the base!"

"We just need to punch through them!" Luce remarks. "Once we link up with others, THEN we can start getting fancy!"

Ah well, I guess it's getting late for everybody involved, so I guess we'll call things here!

As always, next thread is next week! Don't forget Infinite Stars on Saturday! Also, I might run another KanColle thread on Monday afternoon, since you know, holiday and all. Hope to see you there!

Also since we still got posts leftover I'll be open to any Q&A you might have!

Pic slightly related. It's from our KC TTRPG campaign.

Haha, to tell the truth, they actually started out as NPCs in our tabletop campaign, but I liked them so much that I ended up porting them over here!

As far as I know, the GM literally picked their names out of a hat, since, you know, 175 Fletchers.
>>
>>45399121
did you pick them out of the hat that contained 175 flecter names?

also did you put some research on what they did during the way?
>>
>>45399207
As far as I know, they were restricted to the Fletchers that didn't really do anything notable.
