Welcome one, and I welcome you all to the tale of a world called Thespia.

Here is the odyssey of one that clings to this world with no face of their own! In a place where magic is fundamental to all of creation, all who live wear their lives upon their face, where a fire might wish to be the cooking fire of an inn!

The Faceless overcame the tyrant lord of Bikel, Stephan Grant, son of Mikael Grant. Thus, while wearing the face of the vengeful spirit "The Reaper of Aurel" otherwise known as Dramir, a story in the world of Thespia comes to an end as a hero arrives to deliver the accursed Guisi from their fates of enslavement and labor.

Yet despite this success, a shadow of doubt looms upon the horizon as the Reaper claimed victory from Lord Grant whilst in his Arche's true form, a secret kept by the Guisi at all costs for fear of true persecution at the hands of other Thespians.

Yet the curtain has closed upon that story and a sibling pair grow restless as they hear the whispers of the Guisi elders and their intent to make the Reaper disappear to ensure that there are no loose ends.

"We will not see our work undone."

You sit upon the roadside of Bikel towards the town of Pruden, soft wind stirs through idle branches as leaves sing their own chorus in reply to the slightest harassment Sol shines high upon the midday, bathing Thespia with warmth that filters through the treetops and down into your little camp of two, recently upped to three with-

“Tell me, how does a lady walk these roads alone?”

A self-imposing guest. The Namour bard sits upon a fallen treestump, leaning over with his fingers interlaced as he brazenly takes in every contour of your charms.

Turning your head to the side, you close an eye with arms crossed and legs the same. You hadn't expected to run into this dashing man again, especially after you'd so brazenly knocked him out and “lightened” his coinpurse. “I said before, I have a travelling companion. She's out hunting to put food in our bellies as we speak.”

He smiles like lovestruck fool, the flowing Namour marks along his cheeks and the eyelash marks above and below his eyes bend to match his mirth. You can't help but feel a little flattered...

Belinda whispers within, “While it is nice to have company... I'm not certain that he understands all that he's in for.”

“That's my line.” You murmur to her. “However, he's already involved himself with us.”

“Hunting could take a matter of days to the average hunter... Were you to be camped out here long?”

You smile at the bard's words, coyly turning your face back towards him as you look over your shoulder not making particular eye contact, “Average? Non, my friend is not the average hunter. She'll be bringing back something soon, I'm sure. Now, why don't you play us a song or something to pass the time?” You finish with a dismissing flick of your hand before turning away again.

The Bard rises suddenly, “Oh, of course m'lady Beli! I'll just...” The Bard reaches to his back, patting around. Slowly, but surely his eyes go wide as his smile changes to a nervous one.

“Something the matter?” You look back to him and see that he's particularly absent of his lute. Pursing your lips, you try not to laugh, “Oh no...”

“I... I must have...” His eyes dart left and right as though searching his thoughts, “I must have left it in the carriage. Oh no, no, no...” He says as he runs out into the road, as though to chase after what's already long gone. He stands there, looking down the distance of the road, desolated.

Pitying the poor man, you find yourself at the bard's side, rubbing his shoulders gently, “There, there, they can't have gone too far and horses need rest. You could try catching up, it's too early to retire, non?”

Biz takes a deep breath, steeling his soul, “My lady, you are right! To give up so easily is not the way of romance. I will hurry on to reclaim my lute.” The bard starts off at a full sprint down the road, you note that he runs in an almost silly manner. It's almost like he scampers, like a rat.

You find yourself chuckling to yourself a bit as he sets off, finding it thankfully easy to shake him, now if only Odette can return so that the two of you can carry on your merry way without that bard's doting over you.

Sitting back down at the side of the campfire, you cross a leg over, and then finding it uncomfortable, cross it over the other way. Lacing your fingers together, you smile, trying to enjoy the peace and little to the subtle song of the leaves and wind...

You're bored. As before, you're just back to waiting for Odette to return with nothing to do, and sitting still is giving you the nerves. Springing back to your feet, you find yourself pacing, trying to think of something to do despite the mild discomfort in your feet from walking this entire way for two days. This is boring, where's the adventure? The excitement?

“Pox on this road!” You say, “Why hasn't anything happened yet?”
>>
>>45242393

“Pfft,” The road grumbles, “Why hasn't anything happened yet?” It mocks you, obviously thinking that you can't hear it. “And here, we've got a bard running down to a carriage that he'll never catch. Well, save for the bandits waiting beside the road. I believe they wear tights?”

You listen to the road intently, feeling your ears flicker at their... interesting words.

“So the bard won't catch the carriage, but some bandits will...” Belinda murmurs.

>[“We should go help. At the very least it'll kill some time.”]

“We should go help, I'd feel bad if something happened due to our inaction.” You start to say, and then amend, “And of course there's nothing else to do around here!”

“Yes, I suppose we can help.” Belinda says in a nonchalant way, yet you can feel the resounding nature of excitement in her voice.

Searching through your satchels, you find a piece of parchment and a charcoal pencil to scrawl a brief note, “Went on ahead for fun and adventure! Might be bandits, be back soon! Or if not, avenge my untimely demise! <3
-Love, Beli”

Weighing down the parchment with a stone, you head over to the road and Belinda takes control. “This isn't the first race I've ever run.” She says as you get down into a sprinter's stance, full lunge and face down to the ground. Dramatically, you cast off your coat so that it doesn't slow you down as you ready yourself. With a deep breath, your muscles tighten as you feel the heat of flames leak from your body and then build, ready for action. Before you have the right mind to question what exactly Belinda's doing right now, she suddenly breaks into a sprint with fire exploding through her clothes and leaving a blazing trail of footsteps as you surge forward with blazing speed. Once you realize how fast the woods are passing you can't help but to enjoy the feeling of wind on your face again and break out into a laughing smile as your stride lengthens more and more to the point where it's almost like you're flying forward, weightless with every footstep.

As you're running, you notice a familiar blur that you pass in an instant, turning backwards to see the bard panting at the side of the road.

“Well, he didn't make it far.” Beli muses as the two of you put the breaks on your burning speed, slowing down to a stop before you jog over to Biz-Marq.
>>
>>45243363

The bard looks at you, sweat dripping from his brow, yet amazement in his eyes, “My lady, you have a pact?” He says between pants, “That's brilliant... So brilliant... And your... flames are... the most beautiful... I've ever seen...” He says between exhausted breaths.

“It's cute that you're trying to flirt when you're a hot mess,” You say as you brush a lock of hair to the side as your flames die down over your body and clothes. The flames wittle away harmlessly, leaving nary a burn nor scorchmark.

“Cute... you say?” he says, straightening his back to try to be a bit more respectable, “I feel I should be more than that to the lady I...” He smirked as though he'd conquered some kind of hidden territory.

Something inside you has you urged to place your hand upon his forehead, much to his surprise, and push him down the weary bard.

He teeters like a falling tree, flails to try to catch himself, and falls to the ground with a thud like a log. “Oof... ohh...” He groans, “My lady is so lovely yet so cruel...” He wears a smile still as you stand over him.

Your eyes wander down the road, and you see a plume of smoke some ways into the woods. Has to be the bandit's camp you suspect...

“Hmm.” You say, letting your eyes wander back to the bard that's still laid out upon his back. “What is a lady to do out in the woods where bandits might attack. Woe to her to stand alone without a man at her side.” You say aloud as though to profess this all to the would, when really it's just for the audience of one Biz-Marq.

The bard rises triumphantly, fist thumped hard against the heart in his chest, “My lady, I stand with you! No bandit no matter how bold will ever lay hand against you.”

>[“Right, say that to the fellows that are camped out here.” You say, pointing ahead to the ploom of smoke.]

“Oh wherever shall I find a real man?” You say as you swagger down the road, swaying your body to every step.

“R-right here.” The bard says, realizing that you're walking away. “M'lady, right here!” He says as he walks after you while you play coy, ignoring him while pondering aloud.

“You know,” You start, seguing away from the teasing, “I'm actually rather worried for that lady that you were riding with.”

“Oh yes? Why so?” Biz-Marq says, whilst looking upon you in a sidelong daze, his eyes simply ravaged by desire.

“Well, by that plume.” You say with a point, “Could that not belong to some bandits that've camped out here?”

“Oh.” Biz-Marq looks up at the billowing smoke, suddenly realizing how ominous it really is, “Oh.” He says again, panic casting a long shadow over his face. “Oh dear my no. My fair lady Eleanor!” He bolts off with a vigor unlike the one before. He turns back, “Lady Beli, you return to the camp, I can't have you in harm's-”

In an instant, you release your flames to sprint to his side.

“-way?” He finishes as you run by his side.

“And miss out on the adventure? What do you take me for? Some lady in waiting?” You say with a haughty wink and hold out your hand, “Come, let us hurry!”

He places his hand in yours and you pull him along into a dance-like twirl as you leap together with brilliant flames surrounding the two of you. He yells for fear at first when the ground approaches, yet your body moves by itself, twirling and leaping again at a dizzying speed as the two of you begin to laugh together until you hear the distant cry of horses and return to the real world.

As you come down the last time, you can see that far down the road, the Carriage has been overturned, the horses on their sides and quick movements in the woods.

Then suddenly, you hear tune begin to play throughout the air and the bandits rise from the bushes, suddenly presenting themselves and their number...

Then, they sing...

All the while drawing their bows and feathering the driver as the lady inside cries out asking for what's going on. One of the bandits, an especially muscular one with his tights straining against his well-built legs, casts open the door of her carriage and smiles wide for his teeth to glimmer in Sol's light.

Reaching in, he grabs the noble lady and spins around on a heel as he transitions to a bridal carry. That one runs off into the woods while the rest of the bandits start stripping down the carriage and looting the trunk.

This all unfolds while your jaw is dropped, staring incredulously at the brazen performance of these bandits.

Pushing Biz forward, you urge him on, “Go, save the lady, I'll handle these guys!”

“Wh- Lady Beli?” He says looking back with concern, “How? You-?”

You smile, “I can handle these fellows, get that lady back from that dashing bandit.”

Biz seems concerned as he's hesitate to go on, yet he finally darts off into the woods after the kidnapper.

With biz finally out of the way, you stretch your hands out, cracking your fingers. “With him gone I can really cut loose...” Taking a deep breath, you place your finds in your mouth and whistle so loudly that their musical number gets cut in the middle of their performance.
The men in tights all stare at you as he approach them from down the road.

Walking in pace, you can hear the concerto crickets shifting their instruments, the first of tiny hands resounding upon drums and other far more obscure instruments, you find your body surrendering to the beat, undulating and shifting as you get lost in the rhythm.

The bandits say something that you can't hear as your music banishes the need of their words for this scene.
>>
>>45245274

You find yourself shift just out of the way of an arrow as it flies past your ear, others stand ready with swords drawn, nervous at your approach.

Bringing your hands together as you slip effortlessly by arrow after arrow, you let the eternal flame dance from your fingers, and wreath around your skirts, rising to engulf your entire body as the flames dance with you.

Between beats you surge forward towards one about to knock an arrow. Coming up from below, you unleash a powerful strike carrying the weight of your entire body behind the impact, sending the bandit sky blue as he falls to the ground.

The others rush forth with swords drawn and like seamless poetry you dodge and wrap your arms around theirs, dismissing the danger of the blade as they're caught in your beat. With swift grappling techniques you bend their arms in painful ways, and use the leverage of their own bandit brothers to deliver powerful kicks to send the men flying as the flames boost the speed of your strikes in harmony.

Spinning without stopping you catch another man's hand as he tries to bring down his blade and the flame bursts from your palm, scorching his hand and forcing him to drop his blade before you deliver a powerful spinning elbow strike to his jawline, knocking him unconscious as you let the momentum carry you, rolling out upon the ground and popping up to parry another man swinging his sword with a knee that makes close quarters contact right at his wrist. There's a painful pop from his wrist and you kick the sword out of his newly crippled hand.

There's a lull as the sword drops with the rest of the bandits lose their nerve and you use the moment to dance without a partner, shimmying and shaking as the flames are exerted from your every move...

As the lull lengthens you change your movements and the crickets shift their beat following your lead.

As you bounce on your heels and toes, kicking your legs out and shifting around your waist and knee, you start tapping the ground with sudden bursts of flame that give off an idyllic popping sound.

The bandits, wary, do not bid you approach as they watch on, waiting for what's to come next as they slowly surround you.

The flames part around your face and hair, the flames shifting to brilliant hues of green as you smile widely, making eye contact with the most attractive bandit present.

Focusing on him, you approach swiftly, take his sword by the tip and cast it away from the silly man that would brandish weapon against you. Holding his hand, you pull him into your dance.

At first, he doesn't understand what to do, yet the music begins to take him and in short order his feet move as quickly as yours. Finally, you let his hand go and you both dance cheerfully for his companions that slowly find themselves bobbing to the new beat, their feet following suit.

They partner up as you take the one you chose as your leading man and dance about with him in furiously tapping rhythmic solos to the music.

Soon, the lot of them are lost to your energy and you keep them dancing, smiling ad laughing to yourself as you trade partners, and slip away with them still dancing merrily around their fallen comrades.

“And just like that, they'll be at it until they can't move anymore.” Belinda says with glee. “It's lovely when I can pull others into my rhythm like that.”
>>
>>45246004

“That was... such a strange occurrence... Was that part of your pact?”

“No silly! That's just how we Namour are! We can draw others into our passions. A Namour's passion can change lives. When they wake up after dancing all night, they'll wonder why they'd rob people when simply dancing is so much fun!”

“How... strange...” You say, but can't help feeling warm about the idea. If you could've made Lord Grant smile and dance over a duel to the death well... things would have ended differently.

“So you're trying to say that you're all so charming?”

“Indeed!” Belinda says with a heaping lot of mirth as you rut around the carriage, retrieving the bard's lute. “Well, the Men in tights are busy. What say we go and see how our bard Biz-Marq is doing?”

You run with the lute through the break in the woods that Biz took not too long ago. Following his tracks, you rush through after him, hearing a distant cry and rushing towards it as the branches of bushes and trees bend out of your way.

“Pardon sapling. Excuse me sappy. We leaf it to you. Those men in tights're barking up the wrong... oh you know how it goes.” The forest whispers in a cacophony of voices beyond voices. Their encouragement warms your heart as you press on and break into a scenic clearing where the lady's tied fast to a gloomy tree with a grumpy look and the most muscular and dashing of the bandits stands with his blade brandished, the bard on his rump, backed up into a tree as he's at the mercy of the bandit.

“And so I win this fight! Begone little man, m'lady awaits my affections!” The Dashing Bandit turns, throwing a wink out to the Namour lady that seems to not be all that thankful for the bandit's advances.

As you approach, you clear your throat, drawing the bandit's attention. “I'm sorry sir bandit, I was just delivering my friend his weapon of choice.” You gesture to Biz, who's trying to scramble to his feet and your side as quickly as possible. “As you can see, he's quite poor in a fight without blade nor trusty... “ You hold the lute resting against a shoulder as you present it baseboard first, “Lute!”

Biz grabs hold of his instrument all too swiftly from over your shoulder and quickly spins into his stance for playing.

The bandit sneers incredulously with a handsome smile revealing white teeth that glisten with Sol's setting light. “What shall you do? Play me a song to discourage my slaying of you both?”
>>
>>45246853

Biz strums a chord with confident stature, and a smile that's quite telling that his intentions have already been stated. As the chord resounds, he plucks them again, getting the melody going. He looks to you first, and then begins to sing as he walks devoid of fear and embracing Namour romance.

His voice is sad yet joyous, melancholy, yet hopeful. Though his eyes remain cautiously on the Dashing bandit, he keeps stealing glances towards you.

As he plays, the woods go quiet, the trees listening intently as he sings his heart out. Soon you hear the trees, the grass, and even the dirt between your toes singing the chorus back to him.

The Dashing Bandit seems to be trying to resist the song, advancing with his sword in hand, yet floundering between conflicted emotions. The Dashing bandit blushes heavily as he grips his sword more powerfully...

As Biz sings, you inch yourself around to the side where the Lady's tied to the tree and covertly cut the ropes with a flick of your flames.

Besides that, you stay quiet for the performance, letting Biz work his passion alone as he sings his heart out to the world, focusing really hard on the Dashing Bandit to sway his heart.

Finally, the bandit, sways. He's dropped his sword and he's taken a knee, blushing and breathing heavily. Biz stops playing and stands triumphantly over the Dashing Bandit. “I told you, had I my lute, I'd have you upon your knees good sir!”

The Dashing Bandit looks up, his breathing still really heavy...

You feel a toneshift coming as a cricket jumps onto a nearby mushroom. You see the Cricket. At first, you think it's a Concerto cricket... but then, you see its shades, the shiny brass instrument in its tiny claws. “Biz...” You say, trying to warn him as you fear what might be happening.

The cricket starts playing...

Whatever Biz is saying is lost in the dulcet sexy tones of smooth jazz, as are your words.

The Dashing Bandit rises up, blushing heavily across his cheeks as his lips part with a sensual glimmer as the Cricket picks up the beat.

By the time Biz is done gloating, he looks up at the powerful bandit and only then does he realize what he's done.

The Dashing Bandit takes Biz in his arms and kisses the poor bard deeply, much to his dissatisfaction, that much you can note by the surprise in his eyes. As the Dashing Bandit's tongue explores Biz's unprepared mouth you find yourself unable to look away as you giggle incessantly to yourself as you watch the Dashing Bandit make out with Biz.
You and the rescued Lady Damsel observe the steamy makeout session with a transfixed facination.

Biz's eyes plead with you, but Belinda doesn't care.

You're silent for a moment as you take in what's actually going on as the Jazz cricket plays.

The Dashing Bandit rolls into the grass of the scenic clearing as buds bloom around them one by one as Biz is mercilessly snuggled and snogged by the larger man. Biz tries to claw away, yet to no avail as the passions he'd shared with the man kind of fell short of target.

Kind of serves him right for trying all that on a guy in tights...

“Belinda... I... I don't want to watch this. Maybe give them.. uhh... some privacy?”

“What?” Belinda's daze his cut short as she realizes how rude she's being by staring so blatantly, “Oh, oh right! This is a rare moment like catching a Fleet-Footed Deer grazing in a meadow. They can't be disturbed or they might very well stop!”

In haste, she grabs the Lady Damsel by the hand and rushes off to give the Dashing Bandit and Biz their privacy.

The Namour lady, seems disappointed as the two men disappear from sight, yet you can feel how warm she is even through her gloved hands. She looks at you, the hearts in her eyes seeming to glaze over into an almost solid color as she pulls your hand a bit tighter. “I think... I'm in love with you.” She breathily says as she undoes the first button of her blouse.

>[“No, no you're not.” Let go of her hand, deny her advances.]
>[“I think I might feel the same way...”]

You look down to where you're holding the Lady Damsel's hand, and then back up to her blushing, huskily breathing face. With a smirk you disarm her guard as you slap her across the face.

As the lady reels from the blow, she blinks, seeming to have woken up from the stupor that song sent her into. “Oh my.. what came over me.” She laughs nervously as she rebuttons her blouse.

You look back to the clearing where the Dashing Bandit is still virtually assaulting Biz. As you turn back to the lady, you notice that she's still staring at you through “bedroom eyes”

“Will you cut it out?” You say, pointedly irate.

“Mmhm.” She murmurs, not really hearing what you have to say.

Rolling your eyes, you stomp back out into the clearing as you realize that you've arrested control from Belinda. With a decisive blow, you knock out the bandit, allowing Biz to untangle himself from the assault.

Crawling out from the heap of unconscious muscle, Biz spits over and over again, even going so far as to wipe his tongue on the grass.

“Biz.” You say with a cutely coy tone.

“Biz.” You say again, with a little more urgency. He keeps trying to detox himself.

You kneel down beside him, touching his shoulder, “It's okay. Boys sometimes kiss boys. Doesn'tmaky you any less of a lady man.”

Biz stares at you in desolation.

“Oh. Sorry, I meant Lady's Man.”

Biz's face cracks into an overreacting frown, “No you didn't.”

“I didn't.” You say, pursing your lips so as not to let all your laughter out.

Biz takes a deep breath that shudders on the exhale, “I'm going to need a long bath after this... Is the lady alright?”

“Aye, she's got her eyes on me a bit, I think your song did her in too.”

“At least my passions are true.”

You let out a “Snrk, ”as you try not to laugh...

This turned out very differently from what I expected.
Fucking dance-offs
The narmour ability seems nice

Thanks for the thread.
Am I seeing it correctly that "drawing them into their passion" is the rough equivalent to the shadow transformation of the guisi?

Thanks for the thread but isn't it a bit short today?
Also don't forget to archive

Basically, it's the unique trait of the Namour Arche, just like the shadow transformation of the Guisi Arche is their unique attribute.

I'll be starting earlier next time. This is just a good place to let the scene end as it segues into the next scene.
