Hive can instantly kill most of any non mechanical robots with his toxic fumes. As for TES weapons, Roll 1d6 if we are to use it:
1,2=The circuit is fried, no wreckage, only alloy fragment
3,4=The circuit is fried, but we can reclaim the wreckage
5,6=We can reclaim the whole thing intact.

Deploy Oleg, Adhira, and Andrew to the south east on the cliff.

overwatch team - focus on killing the guys out in the open and thoses that will probably come running outside of the compound.
Have Barris, supported by another scout and Loki-1 (thats the scout drone right?) take out the alien in the north west top corner of the map with his silenced gun before moving jurgen, munn, youset, brandon into that spot and scale the eastern cliff.

bait team - draws fire and enemies
send the goliath and everyone else to move in from the south west. they start the attack and have everyone pour fire at any targets in the open. goliath focuses on any turrets.

attach ann with the exalt guy to heal him if he gets wounded.

Deploy the team to the southwest, having LOKI-1 pop smoke as GOLIATH-2 takes point and fires on the Advent Grunt and distracts the Advent Mech.

Have Oleg and Adhira target the Advent Grunt coming in from the east.

Crunch and Cavalry go after the Advent Mech to have Cavalry take down the mech with the TES Rifle.

Have Jose suppress the Mech so that Cavalry can get close to it.

Everyone else aim towards the north and any enemy that pops their heads, shoot it off.

Hive instantly released greenish toxic fumes in the air, Killing anyone that inhale it, you felt a burn in lungs but that was it. The grunts, the sectoids-Dead.

After the Mech was disabled thanks to the new experimental weapon, A blur of Mechs burst out of the compound, one stood out from the rest, it wasn't armed with a particle canon. It was armed with a grenade and a rocket launcher.

Both GOLIATH-2 and LOKI-1 were wrecked by the initial blast of it alien grenade, it primed its attention towards your squad.

Jose suppress the Elite Mech.
Cavalry use the TES on one of the Mechs firing on him.
Crunch fire on the other Mech that's shooting at Cavalry and him.

The rest of the team try to disperse and have Hive take cover behind the cliff.
Have Oleg pop smoke so that he can fall back.
Have Adhira try to disable the weapons on the Elite Mech. If she gets that shot off and the rockets/grenades get disabled, have the squad take out the other mechs/turrets.
If the disable doesn't work then everyone concentrate fire on the Elite Mech.

Mechs/Turrets take 1 shot to take down.
Sniper Turrets/Advanced Turrets take 2 shots.
Elite Mechs take 3 shots.

So far we've only done 1 shot per turn.

If he can, then he can try to take down the Elite Mech. But we've only had single shots/rolls a round so far.

Your squad scattered as the Mech fired another grenade. Yousef shot the damn thing twice before it was disabled for good, Once this main thread was gone, the rest of the Mechs were easier to pick off.

Hive thanked you and your squad for the help, he wished to see us in the future soon. He advised us not to take the corpses. Somehow, you trusted his words; both the grunts and the sectoid had a greenish tint on their cold dead faces. You and your squad may be immune but the whole base wasn't

So, does each person roll 3 dice if we're taking down an Elite Mech?
Do we get 1 roll per TES, or is the 3 rolls just for the attempt?

Because you mentioned "balance", normally that'd imply that we need 3 hits instead of 1 hit, and each weapon can only make 1 hit per roll per update.
Or do the updates encompass multiple rounds and we should make plans accordingly?

What about advent/alien equipment or fragments.

Theres got to be at least 3 or so intact advent armours theres plus the assorted weapon/shield fragments.

And considering we salvaged mech wrecks, we should have been able to salvage the equipment.
