For a brief moment, you imagine yourself lashing out. You see yourself immediately lunging forward, engulfing the leader Magical Girl's masked face with your palm, before smashing her brains out all over the nearby wall with the meaty crack of splintering bone. It's an oddly comforting daydream. One that would have improved your mood, if it hadn't already been raped and stabbed to death in a dingy back alley and dumped there for the rats to eat whatever's left of it.

So instead of bringing that split-second fantasy to reality, you instead let out the breath you've been holding, and force your voice into a low, room-volume murmur. One that seemed to sound even more threatening than usual - even with you willing civility and politeness in your tones, despite you feeling the complete fucking opposite.

"I'm going to see my Incubator, confer with him about Officio business." Just like the watch-wearing dildo you've become, you think to yourself with an inward snarl. "...Please let me through."

The entire security detail seems to freeze at that, but you hear a nearly-muted snigger come from one of the Culexus, the noise sounding more like an asthmatic wheeze more than anything else. But it's there. "Funny now that you mention it..." The Leader begins, but you don't let her finish her sentence, simply choosing to continue your stumbling journey. The follow you soon after that, an entire squad marching beside you, making everyone else traveling in the opposite direction stop and flatten themselves against the nearest wall to prevent themselves from impeding your progress.

It's...certainly strange, to walk through your own Officio like some sort of guarded criminal. You're sure that it's happened to you before, but like every other memory of those simpler times, you've fogotten about it. It's...a lonely reminder, one made even worse by the fact that everyone seemed all too eager to avert their eyes from you. Focusing on anything else BUT you, even deigning to plant their eyes on the ground, or on the spot above your head, or even the ceiling.

And to think that you were once loved enough that they'd been falling all over each other trying to get you to notice them.

Probably the whole turning into Satan thing, but you can't really be sure about this nowadays.

True to their word, the security detail doesn't follow you inside - simply standing in stiff formation with their backs towards the entrance. ...Well. Anyway. You turn around and make your way into Kyuubey's Office, where his inner sanctum is - throwing a glance at the receptionist's table where Mami had once sat behind - and immediately stumble into what seems like a meeting in progress.

One that seems to be between Rea Ashford, your Vindicare Rank Leader, and the mutant cat bastard himself.

The blueprints of what looks like a very well-defended military fortress or bunker flashed on the LCD-covered walls and floors of the sanctum itself.

"...Entry isn't the problem, it's breaking out that's going to be the challenge." You hear the bespectacled blonde Vindicare murmur, her eyes glinting as she pointed towards something labelled 'Lunar Base Airlock'. "From what Miss Vintage has told me, they have self-propelled drop pods for emergency planetfall, but they go into full lockdown mode once the base goes on full alert. And it will be, even if we try to be quiet about the rescue attempt."

"What about teleportation?" You hear Kyuubey muse. "I'm sure that--"

"Teleportation wards go right up along with full alert. Nothing gets in and out of there." Rea shakes her head. "Unless, of course, Miss Vintage furnishes us with the access codes, but I'd rather not have her risk it. Tensions are running high, especially with the attack."

Before stepping into Kyuubey's office, you'd hoped to re-establish some sense of normalcy in your life by...well, shooting him. Or something. Well it all makes sense now.

Mumi was something akin to an undercover agent for the First. The probably have sleepers in the Officios as well.
Meanwhile the First Officio is in fact a cult dedicated to You-Know-Who.

Other than QB and Kaneda no one else knew who Murderface really is.
