Welcome to Saiyan Quest. This takes place in the years Frieza controlled Planet Vegeta, as the Saiyans grow in strength and try to find a way to free themselves.

Voting will operate on a first to five system, at least for the time being.

Dialogue is allowed to be added to votes, as are actions (though I'll ignore what I consider shitposting)

During battles, options will usually have a number assigned to them. After that vote has won, players will roll a d100, and have three chances to match or beat that number.

If a 100 is rolled, it is considered a crit success (unless 100 was the number you had to match).

If a 1 is rolled, it is a crit failure, regardless of whether or not the other two rolls are high enough to succeed.

If, during a battle, players want to attempt a writein action, that is allowed, but I am the one who will assign the number to it, so use caution

You're a young male Saiyan who fought in the war with the Tuffles. You've become one of the most powerful Saiyans in the universe, but there's still potential for you to grow stronger.

In the distance, you see that Cooler's ship has touched down, and can sense him along with three other significant power levels. Cooler is strong enough to be a threat, but the other three feel as though they'll be easily dealt with.

You see Cooler approaching, and take to the air, flying out to meet him. The two of you stare each other down for a few moments.

"To think that a Saiyan could kill Frieza," Cooler laments. "I can scarcely believe it. I always hated my brother, he was an arrogant, spoiled child, but he was still family."

He scowls. "And nobody attacks my family and gets away with it. Are you ready to die, Saiyan?"

You let out a yell, and a powerful gust of wind howls around you. The ground below trembles, and chunks of rock are ripped up. Your muscles bulge, your hair stands up, and a golden aura surrounds you as your power level climbs rapidly.

Cooler looks on in surprise and amusement as you transform, nodding thoughtfully when you stop.

"I see, this must be the power you used to kill my brother," Cooler guesses. "Yes, I can see how he might have fallen to you. But I'm much more skilled than he is, and I won't make his mistakes."

Cooler attacks you, throwing a punch into your gut before you can react and using a double-axe handle on the back of your head. You plummet and crash to the ground, picking yourself up and seeing him charging down toward you.

Well our SSJ form is probably only around 40% max Frieza (which puts SSJ2 at 80%). Cooler is weaker than his brother (in this form) but he's not holding back any of this forms strengths so it should be about an even match. Dice in the 70's seems about right.

You easily parry his first punch, and bring your knee up in time to block the kick he throws at you, but his other leg comes up, slamming a knee into your gut.

You hunch over, and Cooler wraps his tail around your right arm, pulling you to the ground, where he quickly stomps on your back.

"Is that all you've got, monkey?" Cooler asks. "I was hoping for some fun, but this is pathetic!"

Glaring, he fires beams of light from his eyes, and you barely avoid being struck as you jump back.

Cooler comes rushing toward you, but rather than meeting him or going on the defensive, you hold your hands forward and fire a wave of energy.

It catches him full force, and he lets out a yell as he's thrown back. You see an explosion and halt the attack, seeing a scorched Cooler trembling, with rage or pain, you aren't sure.

"That is it!" he roars, rising into the air and holding his hand above his head, finger pointed skyward. "I'll see you die, even if this whole planet has to die with you!"

A massive ball of energy forms over his fingertip, glowing almost like a sun and actually growing large enough to block the sun out.

"Say goodbye, Saiyan!" he yells, throwing the ball toward you.

He lets out a surprised yell before the ball, pushed by your Nova, carries him high into the sky and out of the atmosphere. You aren't sure how far it will take him. Maybe you'll get lucky and he'll go into a star or something.

You can sense your friends, but the other three powers Cooler had with him seem to be gone.

With Cooler, and, presumably his top men dead, Kuriza and the other Saiyans should have little difficulty conquering his territory. That threat has been ended, but if reports are to be believed, King Cold may be heading right for your homeworld.
