Age: 735

Location: Unknown planet

Information: Receiving reports of invaders travelling in a ship like Frieza's, Daikon and his allies began to travel toward one of their worlds that had fallen under attack. On the way, Daikon accidentally damaged the ship while training, causing it to crash. Now, stranded on an unknown world, Daikon and the other Saiyans fell under attack from a creature known as Lusk, who was commanded by another creature known as Zakam. With both threats ended, Daikon now searches for the ship of his enemy, hoping for a way off-planet

Welcome to Saiyan Quest. This takes place in the years Frieza controlled Planet Vegeta, as the Saiyans grow in strength and try to find a way to free themselves.

Voting will operate on a first to five system, at least for the time being.

Dialogue is allowed to be added to votes, as are actions (though I'll ignore what I consider shitposting)

During battles, options will usually have a number assigned to them. After that vote has won, players will roll a d100, and have three chances to match or beat that number.

If a 100 is rolled, it is considered a crit success (unless 100 was the number you had to match).

If a 1 is rolled, it is a crit failure, regardless of whether or not the other two rolls are high enough to succeed.

If, during a battle, players want to attempt a writein action, that is allowed, but I am the one who will assign the number to it, so use caution

You're a young male Saiyan who fought in the war with the Tuffles. You've become one of the most powerful Saiyans in the universe, but there's still potential for you to grow stronger.

Power Levels (as of the start of this thread)

With your friends safely being returned to the crashed ship you arrived on, you scour the jungle for the ship of your enemy.

Passing through the jungle, you don't find any sign of it, and your scouter isn't picking up any power levels nearby, despite the fact that the girl who was with Zakam is almost certainly still out there.

You decide to stop relying on the scouter, and instead search for the girl with your new ability to sense energy. You close your eyes as you make your way through the forest, and soon feel something.

It's faint, but it's there, and it's not very far from your current location, making it easy for you to reach. You fly through the forest and come into a clearing only to have a large shadow appear above your head.

You glance up to see a colossal boulder plummeting down toward you.

That's when you notice the girl standing in front of you, fixing you with a look of pure hatred as she holds her hands toward you.

"You'll pay," she vows, extending her fingers, and you soon begin to feel a pulse in your chest.

Your right arm swells like a balloon, looking as if it's going to pop.

Thrusting your left hand toward the woman, you unleash a wave of energy in her direction. She yelps, quickly conjuring a purple sphere around herself.

The girl looks down, clearly not liking her options here even a little bit. You aren't giving her much choice. She can either become a servant or die like her father did.

There's really only one logical choice in such a situation.

The two of you fly in the direction of the wreckage, and that's when you get a good look at the ship Kamatsuna spoke of.

When you see it, you nearly vomit.

It's the same ship you saw years ago when the Saiyans lost their freedom. The ship that was reported to have attacked one of your worlds.

Frieza's here.

You watch as the ship slowly descends, crushing a large section of forest as it lands not far from the spot where your own ship has crashed.

You activate your scouter, warning the others that Frieza has arrived and has landed on the planet.

"Get back as soon as you can," Kamatsuna warns. "We'll need everyone if we want to have any chance of surviving."

You fly toward the ships, trying to sense the energy aboard Frieza's ship. It's mostly filled with weak power levels that you presume to be his soldiers, and one that feels almost as strong as Dodoria. The final one is, to your surprise, only about the same as your own.

Your power has grown enough to destroy scouters. Maybe you are as strong as Frieza after all.

As you approach the ships, you're surprised to see that the soldiers streaming from Frieza's look different than most of the ones you've seen. Some of them are really skinny and lanky, some are fat and carrying blasters rather than keeping them strapped to their arms, and a few look like crosses between Saiyans and furry animals.

You see the others, sans Rugula and Sabi, gathered outside of your crashed ship, readying to fight them.

You swoop down to land with the others, the girl following close behind.

Frieza's soldiers look ready to fight as you land, but relax as a figure walks down the ramp. He's large, with gray skin, a bald head, and four arms. Your scouter puts his power level at 20,000.

Then, another figure appears at the top of the ramp, only his silhouette visible against the entrance to the ship.

He steps forward, a three-toed foot slamming into the ramp. His skin is the same color as what you remember, and as he steps down the ramp, you see the armor is also the same color. A tail swings behind his body as he marches down the ramp, and cold, confident eyes sweep over you and your friends as he takes you all in.

Stepping off the ramp, he comes to stand by his subordinate, who towers over him to a degree that's frankly quite comical.

You don't remember Frieza being so short.

Or his head being so round.

And didn't he have horns?

This isn't Frieza.

"Who are you?" you ask. "Are you the one who attacked my planet?"

The small-er, smaller Frieza smirks.

"Yes, I am. I am Kuriza, son of Lord Frieza," he introduces. "And I assume you know why I'm here."

"To make us die of laughter?" Toma guesses.

The large alien glares in his direction, tensing and preparing to fight.

"Now, now, Neaput, relax," Kuriza chides, giving Toma an amused look. "You're half right. I'm here to kill you. I understand you have defeated some of my father's top soldiers. This marks you as skilled warriors. But, you still have no chance of defeating me."

"Sure we do, all we have to do is step on you," Azu suggests.

Kuriza frowns. "Your jokes are not amusing, and neither is your arrogance. Neaput, educate them on what happens when one insults Lord Kuriza."

The four-armed alien cracks his knuckles. "Gladly."

He swings one fist at Azu, only for her to block it. He swings another, only for her to do the same. Grabbing the wrists of the two hands, she spins and throws Neaput into the air.

He thrusts his four hands down toward her, firing four energy waves together. Azu leaps out of the way and fires an energy wave of her own, striking Neaput and sending him falling out of the sky.

"You've done it now," Kuriza comments, holding a hand up toward Azu and firing an energy blast at her while her back is turned.

You try to channel that odd powerup of yours, but it doesn't seem to work.

Kuriza steps forward, smirking at you and mistaking your lack of action for fear.

"You're right to be frightened, Saiyan," he assures you. "Soon, you'll be dead, and all of your worlds will be conquered."

Can the powerup dc be lowered more if we have Daikon start remembering how shitty his entire day has been from crash landing on a unknown alien planet, getting attacked, having two of his teammates taken hostage, nearly dieing to a green dude, having to fight his two body snatched teammates, etc.
>>
>>44351832
No way we can go SSJ before the Frieza fight. We can't need it to fight Kuriza! That's just pathetic.

You let out a yell, and feel your power surge as you become surrounded by a golden aura.

Kuriza looks at you in confusion, smirking.

"Ah, so you were hiding a bit of power," he guesses. "That's fine. Maybe you'll put up a fight."

You rush toward Kuriza, slamming your knee into his face and sending him crashing back into his own ship. You follow him inside, grab him by the tail, spin, lift him, and slam him onto the ground. Then you spin and do it again.

And again.

And again.

You throw him from the ceiling and chase him into the air, punching him in the face, grabbing his tail, spinning and throwing him down though the ground again. This time, you follow him below ground, blast him in the chest, then kick him back up to the surface.

You come back up to find him on his back, writing in pain and groaning pathetically.

Second.

If he dies, he dies but the kid probably has a ton of useful information for us.

If not, we've proven we can handle him in combat. Besides their kind isn't used to meeting someone stronger then them, so they'll generally buckle.

"Yes," he answers. "Most of my kind can. We create those weaker forms to conserve energy or for camouflage"

"And why were you looking for us?" you ask.

"Did you miss the part about me being Frieza's son?" he asks. "You made an enemy of my family's organization."

"Oh, thought I should let you all know that five powers are approaching the planet," the girl announces.

"Yes" he groans.

"Then cooperate," you instruct. "If not, I'll send whatever remains of you to your father in separate pieces."

He groans, agreeing, and good thing too, since your power up is already fading. You aren't sure when you'll be able to use it again.

You see five pods stream down and crash in the distance, sending chunks of ground and trees flying all over the place.

I swear to god, if these are the ginyu's I call hax. We went as far away from his space as possible for a goddamn reason.
>>
>>44352866
I would be incredibly pissed as well. We even did the false victory message in Zarbon and Dodorias pods. There is no reason those for the PTO to know we are here
>>
>>44352902
Considering he teased a pic of the Ginyu Force, it's the Ginyu Force.
>>
>>44352787
>B
Instruct the rest of the saiyans to get into the ship. Tell Kuriza to tell the interlopers (presumably the Ginyus) that he has defeated us and taken us prisoner to return to his father for punishment.
>>
>>44352928
That's pretty harsh. I don't see how we can win. You get the feeling he just wants to end the quest?
>>
>>44352998
It's not that, I just am going away in a few weeks...for four months, so I'm trying to wrap things up.
>>
>>44352998
Don't have to win. Just have to not die.
>>
>>44353075
I'd strongly suggest slowing things down massively. We've gone from building an empire on the fringes of space to dealing with Freeza's omniscient teleporting minions. I liked doing the first one a lot more.
>>
>>44353075
Any chance we can just go on hiatus when the time comes instead of trying to rush everything?
>>
>>44352810
>>44352866
>>44352944
You remain where you are, and take a moment to sense the power levels that are approaching. Each of them are large, but five of them are massive, and one is so unbelievably huge that you wonder if it's Frieza himself.

>End update

That's all for tonight, and you all know the drill. If I don't see you all, merry Christmas
>>
>>44353227
goddammit. Well hopefully after this Freeza will have an anyurism or something so we can go back to doing empire stuff while he's healing... For a year or 2
>>
>>44353304
Maybe. Cooler's sending him wine as a Christmas gift
>>
>>44353227
I thought there only were 5. This post makes it sound like more.
>>
>>44353372
Four of them are massive. Sorry, tired.
>>
>>44353359
Just saying, we were supposed to be forging an empire on the edge of space. Somehow, Freeza's forces are finding us in hours, when it should take them months. The rails are really obvious, knock it off.
Seriously, we're some random monkeys. Freeza should not drop everything to go murder us like he is.
>>
>>44353416
You sound like you have some authority anon.

Cute.
>>
>>44353416
You killed Zarbon and Dodoria, and several teams he sent after you.
>>
>>44353449
>You killed Zarbon and Dodoria
We specifically made sure that he doesn't know that
>>
>>44353449
>You killed Zarbon and Dodoria
He shouldn't know that yet. Him eventually sending them off after us is fine. Them showing up 12 hours after Cui died was not.
The Ginyu's somehow intercepting our own transition and beating our own people to this planet is just stupid.
>>
>>44353463
>>44353463
I'm pretty sure them not returning like he wants signified the last place he sent them was where they died.

It's not the fact we didn't hide it well, it's the fact that their dead and can't respond to him.

I think Frieza would notice his right and left hand man missing and dead.
>>
>>44353515
How would they respond when the pods put their inhabitants in hibernation?
>>
>>44353513
>The Ginyu's somehow intercepting our own transmission and beating our own people to this planet is just stupid.
Yeah, and our scientists have worked hard on improving our fleet.
>>
>>44353515
He'd know in a few months. And we aren't in the last place they were anyway. All attempts to delay a clash with Freeza's elite are inherently futile, all nonsaiyans we've recruited are totally useless.
>>
>>44353562
They can be woken up when they receive messages. Nappa was by Vegeta when they went to Arlia
>>
>>44353588
His pod was undamaged. Also doesn't explain how they found Dakon again, and how absurdly fast they are.
