Welcome to Saiyan Quest. This takes place in the years Frieza controlled Planet Vegeta, as the Saiyans grow in strength and try to find a way to free themselves.

Voting will operate on a first to five system, at least for the time being.

Dialogue is allowed to be added to votes, as are actions (though I'll ignore what I consider shitposting)

During battles, options will usually have a number assigned to them. After that vote has won, players will roll a d100, and have three chances to match or beat that number.

If a 100 is rolled, it is considered a crit success (unless 100 was the number you had to match).

If a 1 is rolled, it is a crit failure, regardless of whether or not the other two rolls are high enough to succeed.

If, during a battle, players want to attempt a writein action, that is allowed, but I am the one who will assign the number to it, so use caution

You're a young male Saiyan who fought in the war with the Tuffles. You've become one of the most powerful Saiyans in the universe, but there's still potential for you to grow stronger.

Toma is with you. Soko and Totapo are safe in their healing tanks, and Kamatsuna is on the bridge. That leaves the others for you to find.

You can sense a pair of fairly substantial power levels somewhere on the ship, and some others somewhere in the distance.

You decide to take a look for the two power levels that are still on the ship, and, with Toma following you closely, you make your way through the wrecked vessel in search of whoever is left.

You come around a corner to find Bardock and Gine standing in the middle of the hallway. You quickly notice blood streaming down Gine's face, telling you she likely was injured in the crash.

The two look toward you and Toma as you approach, and Bardock gives his friend a smile.

"Good to see you're up, you bum," he says. "Totapo still in the tank?"

"Yeah, but he should be fine," Toma answers. "I wish I'd had enough time in there to recover all the way."

"We'll get you fixed up once we're out of here," Bardock promises before looking to you. "How bad is it?"

"Is she still on the bridge?" Gine asks. "Is she alright?"

You tell her that she seems to be fine and the last time you saw her was on the bridge.

"Well, we should probably go ask her, then," Gine says before leading the way to the bridge.

The four of you find Kamatsuna leaning against a console on the bridge, looking tired and irritated.

"Are you alright?" Gine asks as she approaches the other woman.

"I'm unharmed," Kamatsuna answers. "But this ship isn't going anywhere any time soon."

You tell her to start on repairs, adding that healing tanks are the first priority.

She sets to work, and you agree to help her. In the end, that mostly results in you handing her tools when she asks for them, as she prefers to do most of the actual work by herself.

She's able to get the power running for Soko's tank, and able to repair one of the busted tanks. Eventually she stands up, stretches, and declares that the two of you have accomplished about all you're going to.

You jump out of the way of the blast, watching as it incinerates a line of trees as far as you can see. Bardock, Toma, and Gine barely manage an escape, and all prepare to fight Azu.

"What the hell are you doing?" you demand of her.

Her eyes go wide, and her posture relaxes. "Daikon. Sorry. I thought you were someone else."

"Someone else?" Toma asks.

"Rugula, Sabi and I left the ship when it crashed," Azu explains. "We split up, and when I met up with them, something attacked us. We fought it off, but Rugula wanted to chase after it. Sabi went with her, and I stayed behind."

You tell Azu to hear back to the ship, then immediately begin to fly North. Toma follows, but Bardock takes a moment, following only after Gine has gone back to the ship with Azu.

Sensing energy, you find three large powers not too far away, one of which is comparable to your own, perhaps even stronger.

The three of you keep flying, spotting smoke rising in the distance, and sensing the three powers in that general area. You draw closer, seeing flashes of light and watching as Rugula appears over the trees, raining energy blasts down into the forest.

Trees are flattened, knocked over, or thrown into the air from the blasts, and Rugula keeps firing more until a long arm stretches up, and she's seized by the ankle.

Letting out a surprised cry, Rugula is pulled down into the burning forest.

You dive down into the smoke, trying to sense for the energy of this mysterious attacker. You can feel three power levels in the forest, one of which you identify as Rugula. One weaker than her you quickly figure is Sabi, and a larger one which you assume to be the attacker.

A blast of energy strikes you in the gut, sending you sliding back and slamming into a tree. Looking ahead, you can just barely make out the sight of a long green arm stretching toward you, hand opening in preparation to grab.

You open your mouth wide, and unleash a blast of energy of a size that surprises you, as well as your opponent.

He lets out a surprised cry, and your blast strikes him in a great explosion, sending smoke billowing all around the attacker.

You see drops of blood fall from the smoke cloud, hitting the ground and soaking into the dirt as the smoke begins to blow away.

You can see your foe's expression struck somewhere between pain and shock, and as the smoke clears further, you can see that he's clutching his shoulder, a shoulder which you soon see is no longer connected to an arm.

The smoke vanishes entirely, and you see that your blast not only removed his arm, but also took a good-sized chunk out of his body.

"Y-you...this isn't over...." he growls.

The alien warrior glares at you, breathing heavily as he clearly deals with a great deal of pain from missing a large chunk of his body.

"I was following orders..." he tells manages to get out through gritted teeth. "I'm-I''m..."

He lets out a deafening yell, and as you watch in stunned disbelief, he regenerates the section of his body, and a new arm sprouts to replace the old, throwing some type of green liquid everywhere.

You watch as the warrior breathes heavily, and his power level drops to a range that your scouter can read, putting him at about 25,000.

"I'm ready," he tells you, rolling his shoulders. "Let's get back to it, shall we?"

He fires an energy blast at you, but you power through it, reaching him quickly and slamming your fist into his gut. He brings his knee up and strikes you in retaliation, causing you to hunch over.

As you do, however, you slam your head into his nose, causing him to stagger back in pain. You spring forward, letting out a yell as you attack with a vicious series of strikes that sends blood and spit flying everywhere.

You throw a kick that shatters his leg, and a punch that breaks his nose and sends him crashing onto his back.

You stand above him, poised to deliver the final blow.

"That would be me," a voice answers from nearby.

Looking up, you see a large blue sphere slowly descending toward the ground, vanishing in a flash of light just behind the fallen warrior.

Two figures now stand before you. One is a thin creature with pale skin, messy gray hair, and a large staff that ends in a large orb. The other is a female with a skin tone similar to your own race, and shoulder-length brown hair.

The female kneels next to the fallen warrior, placing her hands upon him. Her hands glow with a green light, and the warrior sighs before opening his eyes and sitting up.

The pale creature approaches you, eyeing you appreciatively. "You're clearly a very skilled warrior. Not many could hope to take down Lusk."

"I wasn't beaten just yet," the green-skinned warrior insists as he gets to his feet. "I still had a few tricks left."

The pale creature gives him a warning look. "You could not have continued the battle without our intervention."

"Well I'm healed now," Lusk tells him. "So let me settle things with this guy."

"No, stand down," the pale creature demands before looking back at you. "I've never seen one of your kind before. What are you?"
