Usagi takes off in a dead sprint towards you, moving at lightning speeds. The tension of the situation and the speed of his attack forces you to react in the only way that you're capable of to defend yourself. Kicking off with Shunshin and all of your strength, you dash forward to meet the boy's charge.

Your fist slams into his face, and his fist into yours. You struck him across the cheek and forced his head to whip to the side, but the bruise that was forming steams away into nothing.

His strike rocks you in the center of the face, crunching your nose and sending you flying backwards, rapidly spinning in a series of flips until you crash against the ground and roll along for a dozen feet or so.

You slowly crawl back to your feet, face bloodied. Well, at least you now have an idea of how strong he is compared to you.

Usagi is walking towards you once more, getting ready to take off in a run. What do you do?

One thing at a time, lets start out by gauging how big shit we're in and his general behavior before attacking.
We really should not be in too much of a rush yet.

You reach into your pouch and toss out a smoke bomb before he can dash towards you. Hopefully he'll remain where he is. As fast as you can, you preform the handsigns for False Sound and cast it forward into the wall of smoke. It travels until it reaches it's target. It seems that Usagi has only continued to march forward.

You're in the middle of forming the handsigns for the Haze Clone Jutsu when a roar silences the crowd. The wall of smoke is blasted back, and you're nearly knocked off your feet from the force of the shockwave.

Finishing the jutsu just in time, you roll out of the way of the charging Usagi as dozens of clones of yourself start to appear and surround him. You stand up and hang near the edge, but still looking alert and active so that Usagi can't easily pick you out while he's dealing with them.

Whilst I don't think the toxin isn't going to be super-effective, the generic poison certainly won't do shit, and his roar almost knocked us over, it could probably just blow the shuriken off course.

How good is our aim, im asking because if he closes on us again, if we are as good as i think we are, could we stick a Needle into the base of his neck, cut off the nerves as it were, it will leave him limp but once we take them out unharmed, just a bit sore

I am going to try and come to a conclusion on what our victory condition is, any ideas and thoughts would be welcome.
First off, we obviously can't give him a life-threathening wound and make the judges call the match.
Nor can we brute force him into a lock.
So i am seeing the options as follows;

>Try to tire him out (meaby hope that jinchuriki mode takes a toll on his body).

Although i like neither, i am leaning more towards the former seeing as our other matches are TODAY.
This would however mean we will have shown all our trumph cards.

Thing is, if i remember correctly, we have 3 uses of SUPER POISON, so the the amount of times we can use it is not really a concern pt. (also, let's not get overwhelmed by "too good to use" syndrome).
If we have to reveal we have poison sealed up and ready to use, we might as well make the best of it .

I don't see that working. Especially not if we wind up going ANBU Route. The villages may be on better terms now, but I doubt they'd be happy to let special forces personnel leave.

You start to rush through the clones, and pause before observing his movements. You summon the needle into your palm and grip it tightly, being careful not to accidentally jab yourself with it. Usagi is a human whirlwind of punches and kicks, rebounding from one target to the next without fervor. It seems as if you're really going to have to anticipate where he lands in order to strike accurately, but with your Genjutsu this shouldn't be too difficult of a task.

Focusing briefly, you create the sound of your voice crying out sharply behind Usagi.

"Hey! Bird brains!"

He whips his head around, roaring loudly and creating a shockwave that blasts away all the clones that were in front of him. His eyes glare, searching for you in fury, until-

Hey, ok, shortened the hair some (can shorten it some more if needs be), clothes as generic as it gets grey/tan shirt, brown eyes, big smile, shrank the gloves to a size practical for poison users and finally didn't touch the legs because I need by damned morning drink before I start drawing properly.

I named him Saitama, because he has abilities pretty much equal to Speed of Sonic Sound

Okay, so, Sarada fight. We throw Shuriken and Kunai, then dash forwards low to the ground to a spot just out of her reach. Then, we leap up and behind her, and yank the strings on our shuriken to slightly alter their course. If she keeps watching us, she gets the Shuriken that are no longer moving along the path the sharingan outlined. If she looks away, that's our chance to through some generic poisoned needles. Two doses worth, but still generic poison just in case she manages to avoid it.

It's also the main waiting area for the fighters, though some prefer to wait on their own. You notice that Nyoko has been gone for some time now, most likely psyching herself up.

Kichiro and Ai both step over to you as he leaves. Kichiro starts, his hands behind his head. "What went wrong with that guy? He went totally berserk at the end, but was calm and cool the rest of the time.

Sarada, sitting next to Boruto and Mitsuki several meters away, interjects. "You wouldn't be able to see it, but he was a Jinchuuriki. Like the Hokage. He had the power of a tailed beast inside of him giving him chakra. It's because Takeshi wounded him, and brought out the beast within."

Boruto whips his head around. "Nice going nutjob! Ya' coulda killed us all!"

You roll your eyes, and step away. A Chunin bursts through the door and breaks up the conflict, and everyone settles down as the match is about to begin.

You walk over to Kichiro and Ai and take your seats, getting ready for the fight begin. You smile, not having seen your friends in such a long while. "How did your training go? Feeling confident?"

Kichiro grins, and wipes his nose with his thumb. You notice that he looks much stronger physically, his muscles having inflated quite a bit. You're guessing that Hanto really put him to work. When you glance at Ai, however, from what you can see she appears to be totally the same. Odd.

She thinks for a moment. "My training was quite difficult. But, very prosperous."

You nod. "I think we can all say that. Oh- hey! The fight's starting!"

You look down into the arena, and see Shikadai and Nyoko facing off from each other.

Nyoko is wearing the same clothing as before, and looks as cool and confident as ever. Shikadai looks somewhat bored, with a grumpy frown on his face and his hands in his pockets.

Udon throws his hand down, leaping away. "Begin!"

You can't hear anything that they might be saying to each other, but from what you can see, Shikamaru is pulling a scroll out of his pocket.

He unfurls it, and an explosion of smoke washes away to reveal some sort of huge black iron slab in his hands. It's nearly as tall as him, and he slams it into the ground, leaning his hand on it.

Shikadai hefts it over his head, and unlocks some sort of mechanism. The black bar unfolds to reveal itself as a colossal fan, with three red circles on it. He slams it down with all of his might, calling out the name of his technique. "Wind Scythe Jutsu!"

A hurricane of bladed wind rushes across the stage, demolishing the soft dirt in a trail. Nyoko flies through several handseals, and takes in a deep breath. "Wind Style: Dragon from the Mountain's Breath!" Her frail body's chest expands as she continues the inhale, gasping, before blowing a huge tide of wind. The blades that Shikdai had sent are blasted away by the wind, and even in the stands your hair is blown back.

Looking down, you see Shikadai wait for the wind to hit him, and he throws his fan as he runs away from the wind. It catches the air and hovers for a second, and he jumps and lands on it just as the wind hits the wall for an updraft to carry him high. He's racing up vertically, and the fan flies past your face for a flash before turning back around.

He's perched high above, comfortable.

Naruto suddenly shot up for his seat "Shit the Kid's a Jinchuuriki" his hands formed knuckle tight fists as a bead of sweat ran down his brow, thinking back to his own first Chunin exam.

"Naruto sit down, my pupil can handle it" Shikamaru said waving the troubled Hokage back into his seat, Shikamaru turned his gave back down to the arena "Come on Takeshi, you can do this".

Down below in the stadium things were looking interesting, like looks like the young plain looking Genin had just been launched across the field before grinding to a halt on the ground, looking up in defiance of the brutal hit he'd taken. He clambers up to his feat and drops a smoke bomb obscuring himself as the Jinchuuriki begins a slow advance towards him, suddenly there is a mighty roar from the Stone Genin, the crowd is in a stupefied silence as the smoke is blasted away, the Jinchuuriki however stops his advance as numerous clones of Takeshi begin to appear around him, the Leaf Genin seamlessly mingling among them. The crowd is cheering at the match with all its back and fourths, eager for the finale all could sense coming. The Clones begin their charge and the Jinchuuriki begins to blast away clones, until one makes contact with the back of his neck. Suddenly everything is still, utterly silent and still. The Clones all vanish in a puff and the Jinchuuriki remains totally still, seemingly frozen in place, the Leaf ninja standing behind him. Shikamaru smiles to himself looking closely at the needle sticking out of the Jinchuuriki's neck, it was over.

Shikamaru's thoughts were disturbed by the sound of the Hokage dropping out of his chair "WHAT?" he said gesturing towards the fight "WHAT WAS THAT?", the crowd equally perplexed give a half hearted cheer, more confused than anything.

Udon holds the Leaf Ninja's arm into the air "Takeshi is the Winner". Naruto is still clambering back into his chair and Shikamaru breathes a sigh of relief.

Nyoko forms handsigns once more, and starts to exhale mist across the arena. She doesn't cover quite all of it, but enough of the center is slick with moisture sufficient for her next jutsu. The air starts to swirl very gently as she raises her hands, and water on the ground freezes in a flash. She's also coated her feet in ice, as you would expect, and is skating around the arena apparently waiting to see what Shikadai will do next without a care.


You look up at him. It's about high noon, and the sun is beaming down on him. Unfortunately this means there aren't many shadows in the arena, and that he won't have much to-

Wait a second. It's noon. The sun's directly above him.

Shikadai starts to swoop down, and you see the shadow of the fan solidify underneath him as he's forming handseals and flying forward. His shadow extends as he's racing forward, causing it's speed to be nearly doubled as Shikdai holds the handseal.

Nyoko's eyes go wide, and she flips into the air to dodge the shadow. Shikadai throws a kunai with an explosive tag at her, and she's forced to form a series of handsigns and spit a stream of water to absorb some of the impact.

She's blasted back, and skids across the ground. She punches her fist into the ground and stands up, growling at first, but then simply huffing and brushing her hair back.

"That's how it's going to be, then."

She holds up her hands high in the air again. The freezing air wafts up from the center of the arena where she stands, and ice and frost begins to form on every surface. High above in the air the few clouds start to swirl together, darkening the sky and concentrating.

Your breath becomes visible. Snowflakes are falling in front of your eyes, on this summer day.

Nyoko gently twists her body, and starts to sway in a dance. The snowflakes in the air rush down and swirl all around her in a glittering white stream.

She unfurls her arm smoothly towards Shikadai, and the snow bends to her command. It rushes through the air like a serpent, homing in on Shikadai as he races around the arena on his fan. He goes vertically up the wall again, soaring higher and higher until he's certain that the snow is just under him.

Shikadai flips, gripping the end of his fan with both hands. He slams downward, and a blast of wind completely disperses the snow.

On his descent, he rights himself back onto his fan. Nyoko forms several handsigns. The snow continues to fall, and you notice that it all glows white briefly before her jutsu finishes.

The snow in the air collects into crystalline sparrows, shining brightly in the sun. You're positive that they're as sharp as shuriken, and Nyoko raises her hands in the air and bends them to her will like a conductor.

The flock races after Shikadai from every angle, and you can tell he's feeling a tad pressured.

He lands, and twists his body around for another Wind Scythe Jutsu to destroy the flock that had been tailing him. He turns back to Nyoko and grins, exchanging some words that you can't quite here. There's a small pause in the action as the two discuss something.

Kichiro leans back. "Two long range fighters. Wonder how Shikadai is gonna keep up with her."

You scratch your chin. "I'm sure he'll come up with something. I'm sure he's learned more than one jutsu in the last few months."

Shikadai brings his hand up to his mouth and bites the tip of his thumb, drawing blood. He drags it across his entire fan in a zigzag and forms several handseals. In a puff of smoke appears an ancient, large weasel named Itachi. You've read about him before in the story of how Temari saved Shikamaru last minute. You're surprised that the creature is still alive.

Your eyes go wide as the realization of what's about to happen hits you. It's said that with Itachi's help, Temari destroyed an entire forest. What's Shikadai going to do?

He and the weasel leap into the air and spin around, and a violent tornado of blades expands rapidly all around them. It comes at Nyoko in a huge wall, and she flies through the handsigns for a retaliation. She blasts water down at her feet in a great torrent, and freezes it as it surrounds the lower half of her body.

The rest of it breaks off in large chunks that surround her. She levitates the ice that's encased her lower body high into the air along with the rest of the ice, and flies towards Shikadai and Itachi.

They start exchanging blows mid flight as the arena is ravaged by a storm of bladed tornadoes. There are gouges in the concrete of the stadium and the ground, and your hair is constantly blasted back.

Nyoko chucks spears of ice past Shikadai's head Itachi destroys them.

You know, the whole "destroy scrolls to reduce competition" thing is kind of silly. All the actually challenging people are going to get in regardless, you're just keeping out the cruft. Which means you have fewer opportunities to show off your stuff.

As Shikadai and Nyoko's match ends, people rave about it in the stands. Nearby, you can hear the member of the Stone team, Yu, speaking quite loudly. "Neither of them were very impressive if you ask me. Against someone of my level? They wouldn't have had time to bust out those fancy Jutsu."

You raise an eyebrow. Pretty odd for someone to be so confident among all these fighters. You mentally note that Ai is Yu's opponent.

You and your team all turn and look down at the stadium. "That sure was something. I knew Nyoko and Shikadai were both pretty powerful, but I didn't expect that from anyone."

Kichiro nods. "Yup. I hope not too many people can fly.."

Next to you, there's a flash of the color of flesh. You look over and Ai's shirt has been pulled up over her head, showing her chest. She's wearing a plain white sport's bra, so nothing is really revealed, but you imagine she must be quite angry.

She stands up and yanks her shirt back down, positively furious. She whips around to see Yu standing with a grin on their face.

Yu looks to be a girl just about as tall as Ai, with long black hair that's tied up in a loose bun behind her head. She's wear a lengthy black robe, and has navy blue painted fingernails. She giggles. "Woops, sorry. There was a bug on you I was trying to get off."

The announcer calls for Ai and Yu.

Ai looks at the arena, and looks back, and you're shocked to see a wide smile on her face. "I'm gonna kill you!"

They both quickly march down to the arena, and neither you or Kichiro have the opportunity to speak to Ai before she's gone. The two of them face off in the center of the arena, Ai visibly shaking with her fists clenched. Yu looks calm and confident, positive that she can take on your friend. You haven't seen Yu fight before, however, so you'll have to see where this goes. At least Ai knows what her abilities are.

Udon tells them to begin, and leaps away. Yu quickly forms several handseals and holds her hand up. "Blast Release: Grenade!"

Just above her palm, a pinkish orb is formed. It floats and glows brightly before Yu chucks it at Ai like a baseball.

Ai vanishes from sight in a puff of dust, leaving the explosion that landed there a moment later behind. She appears suddenly in front of Yu, and strikes forward with a series of quick jabs. Yu brings up her arms and blocks several of them, but a couple of jabs slip through. She's battered in the lower jaw and on the forehead, and she leaps away from Ai for some space.

Ai charges, but Yu is prepared. "Blast Release: Elbow!"

Ai slides down and kicks Yu's feet out from under her, but she simply drops her elbow into the dirt. It creates a powerful concussive blast, sending Ai flying and Yu high into the air.

Yu forms handseals while midair, and Ai jumps to her feet and looks to the sky.

"Blast Release: Cluster Bomb!"

Yu holds both of her hands together, and a much larger pink orb is created. The Stone Genin chucks it downward, and it shatters into dozens of much smaller orbs. They rain down like a carpet bomb and the arena, and Ai leaps and dashes from place to place dodging them. She eventually stumbles and is blasted around by several concussive forces before striking a wall, and falling to her knees.

She clasps her hands together, and preforms the jutsu you recognize her using to defeat S. The Four Witches Jutsu.

A second pair of arms sprouts from Ai's back just as you expect, and Yu holds her hand up to her mouth and scrunches her nose up in disgust. You imagine she says something along the lines of, "That's really gross, you know."

Ai starts to slowly march forward, and you notice that several strands of her long black hair start to float in the air. Is she gathering chakra?

She vanishes even more suddenly than before. It's clear she's been focusing highly on increasing her speed. The first jab is blocked, but the second, third, and fourth are simply too fast for Yu to react to. The four arms unleash a lightning fast barrage of blows as Yu's body bounces around, and you can practically feel Ai's fury.

All four fists reel back, and fly forward for a quadruple punch to cover every inch of Yu's face. She goes flying, rolling on the ground.

The crowd roars.

Yu is slowly making her way to her feet, but Ai's back arms are already forming a long string of handseals. You start to wonder what the new jutsu is going to be, but then you hear Mari next to you call out. "Huh?!? What's that technique!?"

You look over. "Whaddya mean?"

Mari doesn't look away from the fight. "Ai's eyes, they're..They're starting to move rapidly. Like, bounce around like a bullet. They're moving so fast that-.."

Sarada interjects once more, knowing what's happening. "Tanketsu. The Eye of Heaven. It's a Ninjutsu that was designed to mimic some functions of the Sharingan. By accelerating the functions of the eyes, they can rapidly scan every last point of their vision by searching it in a fine grid pattern. This allows them to predict movements, but constrained usage can cause damage. The thing is..Only one person is known to use this jutsu."

Mitsuki looks up, and chuckles. "Ahh, haha..It makes sense now. Lord Kakashi is her teacher."

Kichiro practically jumps out of his seat. "You mean Kakashi Hatake was Ai's teacher over the month!? How do you know?"

Mitsuki smiles. "Like Sarada said, only one person knows that jutsu. It's creator."

You look back down at the arena. "Incredible.."

What you can see of Ai's eyes, they're a blank white. The pupils are moving too fast to see.

She continues to preform handseals, and holds her dominant arm up in the air.

Her palm is filled with a soft blue lightning, and the sound of a thousand birds chirping fills the air and silences the stadium. Ai's hair floats gently from the pressure of her chakra, and an aura of blue surrounds her. She looks like a demon, four armed and shrouded in lightning, with blank eyes.

She vanishes again, holding her hand up high above Yu as she looks up, terrified. "I-I give up! I give up!" You hear her yell.

Actually I would not bet on that. Part of what has allowed us to get this far is the fact that we fight very, very dirty. Using techniques that most of the genin around us scoff at because it's not an up and up fight.

In a head on fight yeah I think Ai would have won with the Chidori but it would have been far more destructive and drawn out.

I know I'm being nitpicky, but "skin-entering toxins" would have to pass the dead skin before even getting the chance to get near live skin, let alone blood vessels. It'd have to be more like acid to get past the dead skin just by contacting them.
