PREVIOUSLY: http://suptg.thisisnotatrueending.com/archive.html?searchall=Star+Wars%3A+Fortune+HunterThe Jawas who had graciously taken you in to be hidden from what they call the “Storm Boys” had given you some element of shelter and medical assistance. On your leg now was a brace for the broken leg which was healing smoothly for now thanks to a capsule of bacta that the Jawas were willing to part with. Along with that was a bacta patch over your forehead that healed up that particular wound too. The Jawas’ doctor (or at least, you assume he was a Doctor) told you that it wasn’t a concussion or anything major, just a rough bruise from hitting your own helmet too hard. You need to get that thing fitted better. In the night, after the Crusaders had given up searching the Canyon, the Jawas ran out again to retrieve your heavily damaged R-22. There was no way you would leave that behind, not after what you’ve been through with it. Some pilots, and indeed all TIE Pilots, may think their craft is expendable. But not you. To you, a Starfighter is something special, and just abandoning one to the wind is like sending a pet to be put down because it stopped being cute. You sigh as you lean on the good wing of the R-22, looking out at the night sky from the inside of the sandcrawler. The Sandcrawler had been nestled into the cliff wall, hidden amongst the rocks and outcroppings. The night was the only time they could even risk opening up their cargo bay to do any trade with refugees or farmers now, which the Jawas were currently doing. As they explained to you, the Crusaders were deliberately targeting Sandcrawlers on their ground missions. They stole tech, droids, supplies, food, everything from the helpless Jawas. And the ones who resisted were either killed, or what the Jawas call “Strapping”. You don’t want to know what that last part entails, sometimes things are better left to the imagination.[1/4]
>>44111949[2/4]The Jawa leader who had nearly left you for dead walks up to you. You found out earlier that his name was Fivel, and he had indeed contacted your friends earlier with the location. But he warns you now, “If friends no come tonight, we move out in morning. You free to leave.”“They’ll come,” you say. “I just hope that whatever favor I owe you isn’t too great, Fivel. I’m not keen on stealing or robbing things for you scavvers.”Fivel scoffs, clicking his teeth. “We no savage like you think. Storm Boys destroy villages, rob poor, and steal everything! We Jawa no steal from living at least!”“That doesn’t make me feel better,” you mutter.“Hmph!” Fivel checks over the bacta capsule sending vital bacta through your leg. “How leg?” You shrug. “See, you owe us for hiding you.” You roll your eyes. Here we go. “You owe us for bacta, and for bacta patch, and for retrieving Starfighter!” He rubs his hands together. “Already thinking of ways to make you pay back!”“Can we not talk about this now?” you ask.Fivel clicks his teeth again. “Fine.” You suddenly hear the whistling roar of Swoop engines. You stand up, stepping down to the cargo ramp. The Jawas and hermits standing on the sand turn their heads to see two Swoop bikes ride on in. Kuvasz, Misri, and Vikker. They made it! “Those friends?” You nod.“Rhys!” Misri shuts off the engine, then hurriedly dismounts, not even taking off her helmet or her riding jacket. She sprints up the ramp, nearly tripping over herself before you hugging you tight. “Oh my God, they thought you were dead!” She rubs her cheek against your chest, sighing in relief. “I knew you weren’t dead!” She smiles, looking up at you behind those wrappings covering her eyes. “I just knew it!” She pats her chest, grinning. “My gut told me so!”Kuvasz and Vikker run up to you. Kuvasz especially is surprised. “Rhys, you’re alive.”
>>44111966[3/3]“No thanks to you,” you say. “Kuvasz, we just ran a blockade that even smugglers would think twice at, why did we just do that?” Kuvasz hooks his thumbs onto his belt, nodding. “I need an explanation and I want it now because damn it I was almost killed. Look at my ship for crying out loud!”“Oh my God!” yells Misri as she walks over to the R-22. “What did you do!?” She runs her hand along the shorn off left side of the R-22. “How are we going to fix this!?”Kuvasz grunts, then reaches into his pouch and looks at Fivel. “Hey, you.” Fivel blinks, looking at Kuvasz. “You the leader here?” Fivel nods. Kuvasz softly tosses his ingot of aurodium to a very surprised Fivel. “We got ships that need fixing, we want to fix them, that payment enough?”Fivel stares at the aurodium, then looks up at Kuvasz. “Y… yes.” Fivel looks at you, surprised, then calls over some of his cronies. They all begin to gather together scrap parts and materials.Misri again hugs you. “I’m just so glad you’re alive!” She kisses you on the cheek, then continues hugging you tight.“Yeah, Rhys, cheating death again,” says Vikker. “What can’t you do?” Honestly, you’re not in the mood to have your ego stroked right now. “And speaking of can’t, we’re stuck here. That blockade is not going to be stupid enough to let us leave. And we certainly aren’t going to stick around to help a bunch of farmers.” He looks over at Kuvasz, scowling. “Why did I even hire you?”“Because you needed a blaster, which you can buy easily without a guy holding it,” says Kuvasz.> “Just give me a minute with Misri. I just need a minute.”> “Kuvasz, just explain yourself. I want to know why I almost died doing this.”> “Can we just take a minute, all of us? I need to think.”> Other
>>44111979> “Just give me a minute with Misri. I just need a minute.”
>>44111979>Otheryou jawas know how to flip some more auridium?
>>44111979>> “Kuvasz, just explain yourself. I want to know why I almost died doing this.”>Other"As long as you got a plan, old man."
I was tempted to vote for the Misri option but I'm not sure whether I want to romance her or one onf the mandolarian chicks.
>>44111979>> “Kuvasz, just explain yourself. I want to know why I almost died doing this.”>Misri, is there anyway for you to improve it's performance?>>44112055Also this.
>>44112079>>Misri, is there anyway for you to improve it's performance? Our PC should know how to do that as well.
>>44112074Personally I want to romance her but i'm not sure giving her a 'minute' will routelock us, not to mention the fact that Kuvasz needs to explain what are we doing here.He said he wants to help but honestly we need to know what he's planning.
>>44111979>“Kuvasz, just explain yourself. I want to know why I almost died doing this.”
>>44112100Our PC?Misri is our mechanic so she has a better idea on making things I feel, not to mention she needs to improve the sensor.
>>44112103A minute with Misri won't routelock you, it's just Rhys wanting to spend a minute with the Les Mis.
>>44112103I like Misri but I also like the mandolarian chicks. And honestly Misri feels more like a little sister to me then a romance interest. She hasn't really shown any attraction to Rhys.
>>44111979>> “Just give me a minute with Misri. I just need a minute.”
>>44112124I know, it's just that anon temptation for wanting to vote for the Misri option won't routelock us so he shouldn't worry about it.>>44112130Besides shaking her ass at us when she walks in front of us?
>>44112130>She hasn't really shown any attraction to RhysShe does flaunt her assets when she knows Rhys is looking and she wants something, though.Or to tease and laugh at him.
>>44111979>> “Just give me a minute with Misri. I just need a minute.”>>44112151>Besides shaking her ass at us when she walks in front of us?I'm not sure if that's her flirting or if that's something she does unconciously. Honestly while Rhys has somewhat flirted with her she hasn't really responded. And like I said I find the Mandolarian chicks more attractive. Like the Ojou.
>>44112122Our PC is also a mechanic. Just a more practical one. Dude could mod his starfighter himself if he wanted to.
>>44112197Again what do you mean by PC.>>44112183German confirmed in a earlier thread it's both. Misri said it herself that Rhys can see her hips in order to cheer him up after Lotte.
>>44111979>“Just give me a minute with Misri. I just need a minute.”
>>44112263Rhys is a pilot, not a mechanic. He may know basic patchwork, but he's no specialist like Misri is. Just like in real life, pilots need ground crews to keep the planes in good order.
>>44112263Ah, Well he's not technically a mechanic he's a pilot by trade. While he can do maintenance and some repairs, building and upgrading equipment is something a mechanic like Misri does.
>>44112300>>44112274Actually I got the feeling that he is perfectly fine when it comes to upgrading equipment. I mean he did keep a TIE scout running for several years by himself. Also he fixed up R5. Building stuff from scratch like Misri can not so much.
>>44112319Maintenance and upgrading are two different beasts. Maintenance is to make sure the equipment is still serviceable. Upgrading is to improve the performance on existing equipment, which takes more skill.
>>44112124Has Misri been showing signs she's attracted to Rhys and I have just missed them or are they actually a thing?
>>44112402love is blind
>>44112381And? My point was I get the feeling that Rhys is capable of upgrading his ships on his own. However that's not his specialty field. So while he might know some tricks to it he isn't the best. To explain it better he's Han to Misri's chewie.>>44112418Again she feels more like a younger sister to me.
>>44112441>Our PC is also a mechanic. Just a more practical one. Dude could mod his starfighter himself if he wanted to.Dude this is what you just said and what do you mean by practical ? That is like saying a professional shooter is also a gunsmith.
>>44112402Misri does show general gratitude and some affection for Rhys, but not full-blown RABU-RABU.
>>44112441you just can't appreciate a good pun when you see one
>>44112491Rhys is capable of upgrading his stuff and tweaking some of the systems like say his controls while Misri is capable of building stuff from scratch and can pretty much tweak anything. Like how she built the jammer.
>>44112532When has Rhys personally upgraded his equipment?
>>44112552The only instance that comes my mind is that he was able to let the hanger bay release the RE-22, but that was a small, makeshift thing at best.
>>44112552When he had the TIE scout? Like I said Rhys is more like Han. He can do somethings but Mirsi is better at it.
>>44112596That doesn't answer the question.
>>44112596He didn't modify it IIRC though.
>>44112616He didn't modify it that we saw. Someone had to install the hyperdrive. Also like I said he fixed up R5 and made it so he could speak basic.
>>44112684http://starwars.wikia.com/wiki/TIE/sr_starfighterThe TIe Scout already comes with a hyperdrive. As for the R5 perhaps but that could have just been a personality Quirk it develop due to long usage without a memory wipe.
>>44112684>Someone had to install the hyperdriveTIE Scouts come with hyperdrives as standard.
>>44112744Actually Rhys mentioned he did that himself.
>>44112771So he can mod R5 with a voice chip. Does that mean he can upgrade a fighter?
>>44112810Yes? He's a pilot that knows all the various parts of a variety of ships inside and out.
>>44112854Clearly, you don't understand why ground crews exist.
> “Just give me a minute with Misri. I just need a minute.”“Just give me a minute, alright, guys?” Kuvasz and Vikker glance at each other, then nod, stepping down the ramp. You tug on Misri’s sleeve, then sit down on the good end of the R-22 with her. “How were things, how’s the ship?”“Scuffs and scrapes here and there, but we made it through alright I think,” she says. “The shield generator got blown taking all those shots and it’s basically burnt out entirely, I’ll need to fix that. Hopefully with the help of those Jawas.”Fivel yells at you. “No think this make us even! We make you pay for help!” He quickly ducks away into an elevator, escaping with his ingot of aurodium. The other Jawas claw and scratch at the door, trying to even see a glimpse of the sparkling aurodium ingot. Kuvasz probably doesn’t know what he’s done. Jawas are not known to share, at least not without knowing what’s in it for them.“Other than that though…” She smirks a bit, tilting her head. “We’re flightworthy. It feels good to finally ride the Starhawk again.”“I got a question for you though, Misri.” Her smirk drops, and she looks to you attentively. “Did you believe I wasn’t dead? Most smugglers and unmentionable types don’t really bother with going back for those left behind. No honor among thieves you know?”She shakes her head. “Not for a second. It was like…” She holds up her hands, wiggling her fingers a bit in thought. “I don’t know how to describe it, okay? It felt like a gut punch, and at the same time I just did not think you were dead. It was like… it was like I could sort of see you somehow. Not like through walls. Just… see you.” She shrugs. “I don’t know.”You lean back a bit, sighing. “Misri, what you describe is almost magical. You don’t think that’s weird in any way?”[1/4]
>>44112854I'm not sure that works that way. Tweaking existing systems makes sense but modifying/upgrading equipment seems a bit far fetch.
>>44112926I very much do. However you clearly have forgotten the situation Rhys was in before the quest started. Dude had to do a bunch of stuff to make ends meat. And likely he learned how to maintain, and modify starships because paying someone to do it would have been too expensive.
>>44112951[2/4]“Eh. Sometimes I meet someone that really glows or just er, sometimes makes me feel a bit twitchy I think.” You smirk a bit, staring at her. “Not you, you don’t make me twitchy, you naughty boy.” She gently slaps you on the cheek, huffing. “Feh. It’s just how I feel things, okay?”“I see.” You bite your lip a bit, then sigh deeply. “What do you think of what’s gone on so far?”“Honestly, I really don’t like that we’re stuck on Tatooine, that we’re being hunted by a huge band of Mandalorian warriors, and that we’re now on the run from both rebels and the Empire.” She sighs. “But, hey, if Kuvasz can make something out of this, we might make a little safe haven for ourselves, who knows. And besides, I can understand his reasoning. Innocent people are suffering, someone’s gotta do something. If the Rebels won’t do something or if Jabba won’t either, why not us?”You nod. “So you’re firmly on Kuvasz’s side.”“Not entirely,” she says. “Just, I do like the prospect of helping others. That do it for you?” You nod. “Alright.” You look up, then call over Kuvasz. He and Vikker turn to you, then walk on over. “Going to give Kuvasz a tongue lashing?”“I just want to know what his reasons are, and what his plans are,” you state. She nods, grunting as she crosses her arms. Kuvasz pulls off his helmet, and looks at you with a very concerned expression. “Kuvasz.”“I just want to say, Rhys, I’m sorry that you were nearly killed. I cannot begin to even apologize to you,” he says. “Especially since in my haste, I did not fully explain why we came to Tatooine.”“We came because we needed a forger, maybe we could hash something out with Jabba, you know,” says Vikker. “But that changed with all the pirates in orbit and on the ground. How many are there, again, Kuvasz?”“Hundreds,” he says. “But most are simply teenagers or drug addled nitwits, the veterans are old men we can handle them.” Vikker rolls his eyes, clicking his tusks.“What’s your plan?” you ask.
>>44112978[3/3]“You said before that the Darksaber may be here on Tatooine, I believe that may be why Stolmy is here,” he says. “If Stolmy takes the Darksaber, it will further legitimize his attempt to inherit the title of Mandalore, and will summon others to his cause as well. We need to find that Darksaber and keep it away from him.”Vikker blinks. “Why can’t we just kill Stolmy? I thought you Mandos were all about single combat and justice and all that.”“That would have worked had I done that the first time, but Stolmy is not an idiot,” says Kuvasz. “He surrounds himself with fanatics and radicals who will gladly sacrifice themselves to save him. Attempting to outright assassinate Stolmy is a suicidal prospect, not unless we had an army backing us up.”Misri raises her hands. “What about the Furies?” You all look at Misri, and she immediately shrinks at being put on the spot. “I mean, they seemed nice.”“As nice as they are,” says Kuvasz. “I simply would not trust the Darksaber with Forn. She is simply too young to take the mantle.” Vikker crosses his arms, groaning in frustration. “I do not have a plan for what to do with the Darksaber, but if we can retrieve it first, and erode Stolmy’s hold on Tatooine, we can gain success, maybe even drive him off the planet entirely.”Vikker grunts. “Yeah, or get us all killed.”> “We should head to Jabba’s palace in the morning. He’s our best lead about the Darksaber.”> “Let’s just take a rest for now, we can figure things out in the morning.”> “As nice a plan that is, Kuvasz, I’d rather we get our papers forged then leave.”> Other

>>44112999>“We should head to Jabba’s palace in the morning. He’s our best lead about the Darksaber.”and for the love of god make sure he doesn't find out about our little treasure trove we got stashed away on our ship... wait, these three did hide it before they left right?
>>44112999>“Let’s just take a rest for now, we can figure things out in the morning.”I knew this Tatooine lead would have something to do with the Darksaber.
>>44112999Wait so to just take the darksaber from them will not make them leave. They will hunt us for it with their fleet and they have a blockcade on the planet. That doesnt make sense as a plan.
>>44113068Vikker's forger bailed outright. We don't know where he went. All we know is that Jabba is running the biggest protection racket Tatooine has seen in years right now.
>>44113107Kuvasz wants to prevent the Crusaders from becoming a bigger problem than they already are. The way to do that is to keep Stolmy's legitimacy in dispute, and the best way to keep that from happening is to prevent him from getting the Darksaber. If we can get away with nabbing the Darksaber before Stolmy finds out it's already been claimed, he'll be stuck.
>>44113158Can't he just send troops to take us out then? This is the part where I'm a bit lost. We can't leave due to the blockade.
Guys since we are here maybe they here, lets ask if the Jawas have anything they can sell us?
>>44113193He doesn't know we're alive.
>>44112999>> “We should head to Jabba’s palace in the morning. He’s our best lead about the Darksaber.”>Ask the Jawas if they have stuff to sell us.
What type of droids should we aim on getting?
> “We should head to Jabba’s palace in the morning. He’s our best lead about the Darksaber.”“We should head to Jabba’s Palace in the morning, I happen to know where it is.” You stand up, then check your wounded leg. Might be a bit of a limp when the Bacta runs out, but it’s better than leaving it broken. “He’s our best lead about the Darksaber. Although…” You sigh. Getting new Jabba about historical artifacts may mean having to deal with Oktovard. That damn Selkath. “Nevermind, look, we’ll go in the morning, alright?”“Thank you, Rhys. You’re being astonishingly reasonable,” says Kuvasz. “While Stolmy’s death would destabilize the Crusaders incredibly, we cannot afford to be hasty. This is no snake we’re dealing with, this is a wild rabid Endorian chicken we’re dealing with. And if we cut off that head, who knows what the body will do.” He pats your arm, smiling. “You’re doing well by me, and the people of Tatooine I’m sure.”You sigh. “I’m not in it for them or you, Kuvasz.” He nods, his smile dropping slightly. “That Darksaber could fetch a pretty price on the market. And hey, better in the hands of some stuffy collector than in the hands of some bigheaded warrior.”“Fair,” he says.Vikker grumbles. “Great. Walking into Jabba’s Palace too. You forget about your bounty?”[1/2]
>>44113561[2/2]“The bounty is only for people who want to work with the Rebellion,” you say. “You assume that Jabba wants to cheese off the Empire by turning me over to them or even associating with them at all. The Emperor worked hard to get the Cartels to stop raiding Imperial shipping, and Jabba likewise knows that if the Empire really wanted to, they’d crush him.”“Yeah, that’s nice,” says Vikker. “But well, that assumes Jabba actually thinks you’re important enough in the first place.” You’re not? Vikker shakes his head, walking away.Misri pats your arm. “I’ll take a look at the R-22.” She stands up, then hops over the side and looks over the damage.> Talk with Kuvasz a bit more. > Talk with Vikker. He clearly doesn’t agree with what you’re doing after all.You walk over to Vikker, who is fuming as he stands on the end of the cargo ramp alone. “Vik.” He turns to look at you, clicking his tusks. “Listen, I know you may not agree with what’s going on…”“Oh, you know,” he says. “Look, Rhys, I’ve worked with you for a long time. We’ve been through a lot you and me. But this thing of ours that we’re doing, detouring to help some moisture farmers and hermits? Against one of the biggest pirate gangs in the galaxy?” He shakes his head, placing his hands on his hips. “Rhys, I thought you were smarter than this. Not to mention that the hired blaster I brought on is sucking us into some personal crusade to restore Mandalore’s glory.”“Now, Vikker.” You cross your arms. “Kuvasz has been straight with us, always has since you hired us. Whether or not it’s some personal crusade is for him to decide.”“Tch.” Vikker kicks at some of the dirt gathered on the floor of the Sandcrawler ramp. “Mandalorians, think they’re still the biggest thing in the Galaxy. When will they realize that the Galaxy has moved on without them? I mean, in the ancient days, yeah, we feared them. We hated all that they were, they were savages, barbarians, no amount of honor to their code could redeem them. And now look at the Galaxy now, we’re civilized people, and the Mandalorians refuse to move on.”“What are you saying?” you ask.“I’m saying the Mandalorians simply have no place in the Galaxy anymore,” Vikker says quietly. “Warrior culture is outdated. You know, Boba Fett doesn’t wear that armor because he’s Mandalorian, he wears it because it’s tough and it looks cool. In a couple of decades, that armor is probably all that’s going to be what’s left of the Mandalorians.”“I didn’t know you felt so strongly about it,” you say. “When did this come up?”[1/2]
>>44114317[2/2]“Look, when I’m angry, I get philosophical,” he explains. “You know that. To put it bluntly, I’m simply not interested in Mando politics anymore. Hell, I’d rather Lotte come out of the sky with a fleet of Star Destroyers and arrest us right now.”The two of you look up at the sky for a few minutes. Nope, he didn’t call it.“Look, Vikker, I’ll try to make it up to you, I promise.” He grunts, looking down the canyon. “But right now, we’re stuck here, and we need to make the most of it, at least until we find a way off world.”“Yeah, you better,” he says. “If I hear from Jogi, I’ll get our papers forged.” You nod. “And listen, Rhys. I know Misri and Kuvasz talk about wanting to help others, and while that is very noble of them, it’s not how the Galaxy works anymore. Out here, when you’re on the run, it’s you or them.”“Noted,” you respond. He grunts again, clearly not willing to talk much anymore.Fivel walks up to you, grinning as he rubs his hands. “You, you want buy anything?”“I thought I owed you,” you say.“You buy something!” yells Fivel. “Buy droid, buy uh…” He looks around. Actually, now that you notice, the cargo bay was a bit empty. He might have been prioritizing food and water and medical supplies over scrap. There’s actually very little for him to sell. “Er uh…” He runs over to a storage closet, then an aging old R3 unit pops out. “Oooh! Buy droid!” He rolls it over to you. “Work well, very good price, all parts intact!”You blink, then point to his dome. Vikker turns around, curious. “… are those bloodstains?”Fivel looks down at it, then quickly scrapes and rubs the bloodstains off the dome. He looks back up at you. “No.” He holds out his hand. “2,000.” The R3 suddenly pops out a mini-blaster out of its dome, searching for targets. So how will we use this new droid? Turret gunner for Kuvasz's H-Wing or or the Bartoz?
>>44114790I think it'd work best on the H Wing. In flight repairs and frees up a man for tasks on the mothership.
German from the bug planet which had a ship graveyard, what type of scrap did we find?Anything useful?
>>44114860Only useful stuff was scrap metal parts, which Misri has been using to fix up the Lion's Share and improve its armor over the course of the past week or so. It's patchwork but it is capital ship grade scrap you're using to armor up the ship.
>>44114923Well that will explain how we survived.Adding that to the pastebin.
> “Forget that. 1,000.”“Forget that, this thing looks like a deathtrap,” you say. “I want it for 1k.”Fivel hisses. “You will have it for 1.5k! No less!”Vikker leans in. “We’ll have it for 1k.” He bangs on it. The blaster and a circular saw quickly pop out of the dome, clearly intent on chopping something to pieces. Fivel knocks on it again, and the weapons quickly retract. “Why exactly is this droid like this?”Fivel shrugs. “We find as is. Overturned in wrecked speeder. Lots of bodies.” Yeah, that’s not exactly confidence inspiring. But a friend for R5 would be nice. It might actually be useful. “Fine, 1k! But no less!”“Deal.” You shake the Jawa’s hand.“You still owe for medical help!” says Fivel. “We call in favor soon! Soon!” He kicks the R3 over to you. Rather smartly, you step away. The R3 whirs and beeps as it reactivates itself, then turns up to you.“Does something seem wrong to you about this droid?” asks Vikker.“Yeah, but it’s bargain price,” you say. The R3 hunches, then sprays a huge puddle of green oil out down the cargo ramp, as if it were vomiting. You check the designation label on the side.R3-M18.[1/2]
Rhys and Co. survived because Mandos are overrated and only famous for getting their asses kicked.
>>44115172[2/2]--You left the Jawas in the early morning, right as the twin suns were beginning to rise. After a short nap and the explanation of how things were going, you were clinging to Misri’s hips as she drove the swoop bike through the Dune Sea. Next to you were Kuvasz and Vikker on the 105K Lancer. Back at the ship, R5 was ready to leave the canyon at anytime and join you, with his new arrival R3 and Sparks the Vulture droid being his escort. You can trust R5 not to abandon you to the Dune Sea and the pirates.Misri looks back, then pulls her mask down to talk to you over the loud sound of the engines. “You know where Jabba’s Palace is!?”“Yeah!” You nod, looking past her and pointing. “That direction! We’ll hit in just about a few minutes!” Kuvasz and Vikker roll up alongside you as your two bikes race across the Dune Seas, kicking up sand and dirt behind in a cloud. Hopefully those Mandos won’t see what’s going on. “Listen, when we get there, you let me do all the talking, alright!?”Misri blinks. “Are you sure!? This Jabba guy sounds like a real piece of work!”> Charisma: “I’m an even bigger piece of work!”> Intelligence: “He’s a smart guy but I’m smarter!”> Skill: “Well, we could always just steal it if he does have it!”

> Intelligence: “He’s a smart guy but I’m smarter!”“He’s a smart guy, but I’m smarter! Just you wait!”“That’s not saying much!” yells Misri. “But okay, I trust ya!” She pulls her mask back on and continues speeding along. Your speeders continue braving the sandy wastes of the Dune Sea until finally, you see it on the horizon. “There! Is that it?!”“Yep!” You nod, patting her on the hip. Poking out from a rocky hill was the cylinder-like shapes of Jabba’s Palace. You’ve been there once before, wasn’t exactly to your taste. Hopefully you remember what it’s like inside.“You can stop holding my hips by the way!” she yells.“Would you prefer your chest or your legs?” you respond.“Nevermind!” she says again.Your speeders run up the single passageway to the main gate, then stop right outside. The gate leading in dwarfs all of you. He could fit a rancor through that gate if he wanted to. You step onto the dirt and walk up to it. “How are we going to get in?” asks Kuvasz.“Look, just let me handle it,” you say. You gently knock on the gate.…“That’s your big plan, knocking on the door?” asks Misri.Suddenly, out of the wall comes a robotic eyeball on a stalk, a gatekeeper droid. He yells at you in very vulgar Huttese. “Hey, watch your language,” you say. The droid continues yelling at you in Huttese, asking who you are and what your business is. “My name is Rhys Cykgil, and company. We’re here to talk with Jabba the Hutt. We’re looking for something that he may own.” The gatekeeper hisses at you, then retracts back into the gate. The gate slowly creaks open, revealing a dark passageway. A squad of Gamorrean guards have already arrived behind the gate, squealing and threatening you with their vibroaxes and pikes. “Come on,” you say. “Don’t want to keep Jabba waiting do we?” Vikker and Kuvasz follow you without another word. Misri hesitates for a second, before following you in as well.[1/3]
>>44116204[2/3]The dark passage is occasionally interrupted by Gamorreans on guard duty. But before the stairs leading down into Jabba’s throne room, you meet his majordomo, Bib Fortuna. The disgusting sharptoothed Twi’lek stood in front of the stairs, backed up by a pair of more capable looking Mercs. “Rhys Cykgil. You are known to Jabba.”“Bib Fortuna, I see your dental health hasn’t exactly improved,” you mutter. He grunts, squinting his eyes at you. His eyes suddenly fall on Misri, and he smiles gleefully. Kuvasz steps in front of her, crossing his arms, and quickly dropping the smile off of Bib’s face. “Listen, Bib. I need to talk with Jabba. He might know where something I want is.”“And why should I just let anybody talk with the great Jabba the Hutt?” He gnashes his teeth, looking at you. “He’s very busy these days.” Yeah, partying and gorging himself so recklessly that even other Hutts would call him obese.“Well, I happen to know a few people here and there,” you say. “… plus I know his son.”Bib blinks, then quickly grabs your shoulder and pulls you away to talk privately. “You know that Jabba the Hutt does not like talking about Rotta.”You roll your eyes. “Is it really that hard to believe that Rotta doesn’t want to inherit Jabba’s cartel?” Bib nods. “Come on. Rotta can vouch for me, I’m reliable.”
>>44116226[3/4]Bib grunts. “Fine. C-… come on down to his throne room. But wait for me to talk with him first. I will… schmooze with him.” Fair enough. You of all people should know that nobody likes working with Jabba. You’re sure that Bib has experience in that regard. He’s more two-faced than a Podracer announcer. Bib leads you down the steps, and immediately your senses are assaulted by the scent of spice and deathsticks, and the sound of wild music. Mercs, drugheads, smugglers, and bounty hunters of all kinds are gathered here to bask in Jabba’s company. This was the absolute filthiest place in the Galaxy, worse than your home planet maybe. And upon a repulsor platform, surrounded by scantily clad slave women of all types of species, and covered cheek to cheek in chunks of food and drink, was the big Hutt himself. Bib quickly directs you to an empty table, where you all quickly pile around to sit.“Whoa.” Misri turns around in her seat, kicking her feet up onto the table. “I’ve never seen a big Hutt like that.”“You’ve never seen Mama the Hutt,” mutters Kuvasz. Vikker nods, agreeing.Bib walks up to Jabba, whispering in his ear. Jabba lazily listens, squinting. You look around the Throne Room, careful not to draw too much attention from anybody. Hm, Fili doesn’t seem to be here. And Oktovard-“Rhyz Cykgil.” Ah damn it. You turn around to see that drooling Selkath treasure hunter right behind you. Your crew looks at him. “Been a while.” He holds up his hand, which is scarred from your last encounter with him. “What bringz you to Jabba’z turf?”[3/4]
>>44116249[4/4]“Business, Oktovard,” you state. You look back at Jabba, and he points to you, calling you over. “And speaking of which.” You push past him. He hisses at you, spraying bits of spittle on you and your face. Disgusting little fish. You step up to Jabba the Hutt, and he looks at you with a very calculating and skeptical expression. “Jabba the Hutt. I’m honored.”“Make it quick, pilot. I am only giving you audience because you know my little boy Rotta,” he growls. "If Rotta can tolerate you, maybe I can as well.> “Me and my crew need a safe place to stay, and what better place than here?”> “I’m looking for a Darksaber. > “I’m looking for a Darksaber. Rumor is it’s in your possession.”“Darksaber?” Jabba groans, rubbing at one of his thousands of chins. “Ah yes, the Darksaber. Emperor Palpatine gifted me with the Darksaber in exchange for the Hutt Cartel’s peace with the Empire. I do not intend to harm a single hair on the Imperial shipping lane patrols or any of their freight because what a present it is! Bib!” Bib nods, pressing a button on his wrist. The ceiling opens up a small hole and out of it comes a capsule encased in ray shielding. It hovers in the middle of the room, catching the eye of many of the Throne room attendees. Even the singers are having a hard time concentrating. The Darksaber, currently just a black sword hilt. “Magnificent, iz it not?” says Oktovard as he walks up next to you. “The Darkzaber is a Sith artifact of immense power, one that the Jedi intended to keep locked away in their zecret vaults on Coruscant, before the Mandalorian Warz of course, and the Zacking of Coruzcant.”You cross your arms. “Real nice. You know, the Mandos planetside are looking for that, if they knew you had it Jabba, they’d be tearing this place apart right now.”“Hahaha!” Jabba slaps his skin, jiggling in amusement. “Those pathetic warrior wannabes cannot match the mercs I hire!” You look behind Jabba to see some of his best personnel standing behind him. None of Jabba’s famous bounty hunters like Boba Fett were with him right now. “And even then, why would I want to throw those boys off world! They’ve been giving me amazing profits on protecting the people!” He points at you, smug. “People are willing to give away everything if you put something big and scary behind them!”[1/2]
>>44116973[2/2]“That’s not going to last forever, I hope you know that,” you say.“Of course I do! People run out of money eventually, but that's what slavery is for!” Jabba grunts, nudges Bib. He quickly retracts the Darksaber back into its ceiling mount once again. “My freighters have to run that blockade almost every day, occasionally we lost one or two, not too important. But, we are making amazing short term profit in this protection racket of ours. Once the money dries up though, we can drive them off in say… several months later? But regardless, the Darksaber. What, do you want it?”“Yes,” you say. “Name your price.”He leans over, licking his lips. “Who is that girl that came in with you?” You look back to see Misri sipping on a cup of ale, looking around curiously. Kuvasz and Vikker stare at you, wondering what’s going on at your end. “I’ll trade the Darksaber for her.”> “Sure, why not.”> “She’s not for sale, sorry.”> “Maybe I could just owe you something in favor of that Darksaber instead?”> Other

>>44117079>>44117084Of coarse, but honestly I'm kind of loss on how to deal with this situation.

>>44116994>“She’s not for sale, sorry.”
> “She’s not for sale, sorry.”“She ain’t for sale, Jabba. Sorry to burst your bubble.”Jabba grumbles, tugging on the chain of one of his girls. The slave girl, a young Togrutan, whines as she struggles against the chain. She wears nothing more than cloth strips covering up all the unmentionable stuff. You really do not want to put Misri in something like that. Definitely not. You cross your arms as Jabba says, “Then we have no deal. Though, I like you, Rhys. You seem very direct, it is a breath of fresh air.” If you’re a breath of fresh air, then the air in here must be absolutely toxic. “You are free to stay here in my palace if you wish. If you have a ship, you may use the hangar and the motorpool.” You nod, and he motions you closer. You lean in, then suddenly regret it as the smell pulverizes your senses. Not even the Killik were this bad. “But listen, do not ever mention Rotta around me again.” He sighs, and you also vomit right then and there. “Right, we can talk later.”Oktovard grins, nodding as he watches you walk back to your crew, defeated. You sit back down, sighing in relief at having escaped Jabba’s amazing smell. “So?” asks Misri.“He won’t trade, not unless I put you in a chains and your underwear, Misri.” She whistles a bit, suddenly shrinking down and pulling her feet off the table. “And with ray shielding in a place like that, there’s no easy way we can just steal it, if we do, we piss off the Hutts and you do not want to do that.”“Smartest thing you’ve said all day,” says Vikker. “We have to consider an alternative approach now. The Darksaber is out of our metaphorical reach.”[1/2]
>>44117583[2/2]“Hey, I said there was no easy way we can just steal it,” you explain. “Doesn’t mean there isn’t one.”“Should we really be talking about this with Jabba in the same room?” asks Kuvasz. You point back to Jabba, who is yucking it up as he licks a very disgusted and frightened slave girl with his tongue. “Fair point, I guess he isn’t paying attention.”“Everyone in here is high off their rockers, we just have to be careful not to say anything too… uncomfortable with him. I’m sure Jabba even appreciates the fact that we’re even talking about stealing it, that’s probably the only value he sees in it,” you say. You lean back in your seat, and take up the cup of ale set out for you. “But we’re alone. And with very few options left.”Kuvasz says this, “Not entirely.” You blink. The three of you look at him. “We could ask Lotte for help.” Oh, for the love of… “Hear me out. The Empire may not pay close attention to Tatooine, but if you can convince Lotte to send a relief force, they may be able to inspire a bit of Imperial loyalty in the area. And if Lotte asks Jabba for the Darksaber, there may be a chance he gives it back, and keeps it out of the Crusaders’ and Stolmy’s hands.”“And what stops Lotte from pursuing us once the Mandos are gone?” asks Vikker. “We’d be better off asking the Furies to break the blockade for us.”“I would rather the Empire have the Darksaber than Forn,” mutters Kuvasz.Misri looks between you three. “Yeah, just uh… do something cool.” She sips her ale, unable to really contribute meaningfully.> “We do this alone, there’s no need to overcomplicate things.”> “I guess I could ask the Furies for help. Revisiting the idea to just straight up pay for the Darksaber:What if we make it look like we're talking with a collector that hired us. The Collector wants to buy it from Jabba, and we're just the middleman. We offer, straight up, 2 million credits; a price high enough to make even Jabba take notice. We hash it out, make a good show of negotiations, say that our buyer wants to pay in auridium instead of credits, and try to get him to agree to 4 million. That way he doesn't know that we have a lot more than that, and we can slice up an ingot to hide its original size.
>>44117604> “I guess I could ask the Furies for help. Doesn’t mean they will help us.”
>>44118228We have no cash to pay for the Darksaber, Jabba has all the cash he wants, and we still have to get our treasure exchanged (not with Jabba, because he'll fleece us for everything).
>>44118301>We have no cash to pay for the DarksaberThat's why I said to make Jabba think we're representing an eccentric but very rich collector who wants to pay in auridium instead of credits.

I’ll call R5 to bring the ship over, we get restocked and resupplied and uh…” Your eyes track the swishing hips of a Twi’lek slave girl. “… yeah, sleep on it.” Misri slaps you upside the head, getting your attention again. “Ow!”“Focus,” says Misri. “I agree, we should sleep on it. We really rushed into this thing. I think we should take a bit more time to understand what we want to do and how we’re going to do it. Kuvasz, Rhys probably isn’t comfortable associating with Lotte. Hopefully it’ll come with the R-22.” She starts walking, but suddenly her hips start shaking to a new beat. A new band has come on, and they are playing some of Misri’s favorite songs. “… but first, I’m going to dance.” She slowly slips into the dance floor, grinning and now dancing on the dance floor. You really should pull her out considering all the hungry eyes that are on her, but you have to admit one pair of those eyes are yours. That just left Kuvasz. He calls for a drink, and a slave girl places down a glass of water for him. “Thank you,” he says. He takes a sip, then looks at you. “Well, Rhys, looks like we are genuinely stuck.” He pulls out a cigarra, then lights it as he kicks his armored boots up onto the table and watches out for Misri, carefully and closely. “Guess we’ll have to enjoy the pleasures and splendors of Jabba’s Palace.”> Dance with Misri. Been a while since you’ve danced.https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=M212A0NTrEcYou stand up. “Well, nice talking with you, gramps.” He nods to you, raising his glass. “Listen, me and Lotte have our own things to settle. Right now, the Empire simply is not an option.”He nods. “Fair. I won’t pry, sorry for bringing it up.” He points down to the dance floor. “You enjoy yourself.”You mosey on the dance floor, stepping past a few drug addled goons and some guards looking for someone causing trouble. And right smack dab in the center getting all the attention is Misri, who is shaking it, absolutely loving every minute of shaking her butt to the deep bass beat. When was the last time you ever danced? Might’ve been on… Huh. Damn it. “Hey,” you say, shaking your shoulders a bit to the beat. She looks over at you, not even breaking stride, smirking. “Room for one more?”She gently pushes you away. “Get outta here, I’m a one woman show.”You roll your eyes. “Fine, guess I’ll dance next to you then.” You call on all of your experience of drunk dancing during your days at Flight School. You’re not sure where your hips and legs are going, or what you should be doing with your arms. But soon enough, you get some general idea of rhythm. You’re told that dancing can really relieve a lot of stress, get yourself exercising, build up your muscles while attracting a lot of girls to your side too.But judging by how Misri has stopped dancing and is staring bemusedly at you, it’s not working. You stop, looking at her. “What?” you ask.“You have the same sense of rhythm as a deaf Ithorian,” she says bluntly. Wow, rude. “Come on, like this.” When the bass goes by, she shakes her hips like one two three. “Like that!”You point to her hips, frowning. “Yeah, I don’t have those.”“Clearly, hehe!” She laughs a little at your expense, patting your arm. “Hey, I’ll teach you some later.” You cross your arms, and watch her step to the side and get back to dancing.
>>44119465[2/3]--The Lion’s Share had made the journey of traveling to Jabba’s Palace from the canyon relatively unmolested. Everyone had gathered around once again to hang around, waiting for your word to figure out what to do next. Misri had taken Lev out to work on his circuitry, and was busy nodding her head along with the beat from upstairs, through several layers of rock and stone. Vikker and Kuvasz meanwhile were shooting the breeze a bit, standing next to the newly repaired R-22.Well, more like hastily repaired R-22. The Jawas had to replace the thrusters with those from an RZ-1 A-Wing actually, but clearly they only had the engines of the A-Wing itself. You say that because the entire left side had been replaced by hastily built together scrap and junk. It was as if they couldn’t find a new left to the R-22 so they just fitted what fitted. A few of the new plates were sticking over onto the good side of it. It was making your eyes twitch in frustration. It wasn’t orderly. R5 rolls over to you as you examine it. “Hey, at least they fixed it for you.”“Fixed?” you say. “It looks like they just vomited all over it.”“Well A-Wings and Spearheads are hard to come by, sir, I don’t imagine Jawas would simply have parts ready made for it,” he reports. “By the way, it’s nice that you bought a new friend for me, R3-M18.” You nod to him, smiling. “But he is quite the er… bundle of energy.”“How so?” you ask. Behind you, R3 rams into a crate, knocking himself over. Kuvasz and Vikker look over for a second, then go back to talking with each other.
>>44119489[3/3]“He doesn’t seem to understand the concept of patience,” says R5. “But don’t worry, I will mentor him. Just you wait.” R5 rolls past you, moving to get a struggling R3 back on his feet.“Hey, Rhys!” Misri calls you over. You step on over, and look down at the deactivated body of the Tactical Droid Lev. “Hey, listen. I know you wanted me to give Lev a memory wipe and I fixed most of the issues with his programming, he won’t recognize Kuvasz as a Stormtrooper now and er…” You cross your arms, quirking your brow. “I fixed him but uh… can I ask you not to wipe his memory? I mean, there’s a lot of history there and I’d feel really awful. A factory fresh Tac droid would be nice but… I like old Lev, sort of.”> “Wipe his memory.”> “Don’t worry about it, just reactivate him.”> Other

>>44119513> “Don’t worry about it, just reactivate him.”
>>44119513Is he still loyal to Lotte? If yes wipe him, if no it's fine I guess. He's your responsibility though.
>>44119513> Other"Either he gets a mind wipe or he has to remain deactivated. He betrayed us once already."
>>44119543A backup of his memory will be created in the case of either decision.
>>44119513>> “Don’t worry about it, just reactivate him.”
>>44119577Have we removed all communication to the empire with him?
>>44119513>Well, more like hastily repaired R-22. “Hey, at least they fixed it for you.”Do i call this a modification, should i remove the retuned engine modification from the pastebin?
>>441196041. Yes.>>441196352. Yes and no.
>>44119513>> “Don’t worry about it, just reactivate him.”>Test him out, if he acts strangely we will have to mind wipe him.>>44119715What do i even call this modification and it's benefit? I'm at a loss right now.
>>44119513>“Don’t worry about it, just reactivate him.”He's cut off from the Empire and had his explosives ripped out of him. He's isolated from his true handlers now, but if he tries anything fancy (i.e. sabotage), wipe him immediately.
>>44119801>What do i even call this modification and it's benefit? I'm at a loss right now.Just call it a "secondhand repair" and be done with it. You're starting to get neurotic about this.
>>44119847>>44119801Yeah, I'd call it secondhand repair too. There's no real benefit to it and there's no real drawback to it either.
>>44119847>neuroticDidn't know the meaning of the word until now. Huh. Well I'm fine just a bit confused on the condition of the ship. >>44119867Will do.
> “Don’t worry about it, just reactivate him.”“Look, don’t worry about it.” She smiles gratefully, drumming her hands on Lev’s head. “Just reactivate him, he’ll be your responsibility then on top of Sparks.” You both look to Sparks as he scares off a pair of Weequay guards. “Got that?”She nods, then quickly reconnects the power cords in his head. Lev’s photoreceptors glow once more, this time a very deep blue. “Ah.” Lev’s hands are thrown up. “Please do not wipe my memory. I am too old to have my memory wiped.” Still the same old monotone.” He turns to look at you, then at Misri. “What happened? Why am I here?”“Lev, I’m giving you a second chance,” you say. He cocks his head, confused. “You’ve been a relatively decent partner with me and I reward that with second chances. Don’t squander it. Misri will take responsibility for you if you mess anything up from here on out. You better not betray me again, you got that?”Lev stares at you for a few seconds, then nods slowly. “Yes, sir.” He stands up, then looks down at a sitting Misri. “Thank you, ma’am.” He looks back at you. “And you, sir. Do you have any orders for me?”“Sit tight, I’ll have something for you to do soon,” you say. You walk on over to Kuvasz and Vikker. “Alright guys, Lev has rejoined the party for now. Got any ideas for what to do next?”“I’m getting into contact with Jogi,” says Vikker. “We’ll have our forged papers and IDs in the morning after. Once we finish our business here, I suggest going back to Coruscant, get the you-know-what pressed and cashed.”[1/2]
>>44120461[2/2]“As for contacting the Furies for help, maybe giving them a call wouldn’t hurt.” You tilt your head. Oh? “But we shouldn’t mention the Darksaber at all. Just say that you need help, maybe they’ll send someone by to help break this blockade. I am well-aware that the Furies specialize in heavy bombing support with their Starfighters, perhaps we can coax them.”“Always a compromise with you, Kuvasz,” you say. “That’s a surprise.”“I’m old, I’m never going to get what I want with you kids running around,” he mutters.> “Fine, I’ll call the Warmaster.”> “We’ll hold off on calling them. I need to explore my options.”> Other

> “Fine, I’ll call the Warmaster.”--Warmaster Forn Vizsla appears on your holopad. She’s on her throne, backed up by Erma as well. She sips on some tea from a saucer and cup, smiling as she addresses you. “Ah, Rhys Cykgil. It has been some time since you last contacted us.”“It has,” you say. You look over at Erma. You noticed that her once dark blue and gold armor has now been decorated with black streaks, and the helmet she carries under her arm now has the ceremonial Jaig eyes adorning it. “Erma.” You smile a little. She scowls at you, quirking her brow and probably wondering why you’re addressing her at all. “You’ve been promoted to one of Warmaster Vizsla’s Nite Furies I see. Black looks good on you, you know.”“Well, thank you for noticing,” she says, venomously. “Did you have business with us or is this a holosex call?” Warmaster Vizsla clears her throat, silencing Erma. She stands stiff at attention, glaring at you.“I apologize for Erma’s saltiness, you must understand considering the unique circumstances between you two,” she says. “Now, what business did you have with the Furies. Did you find the Darksaber perhaps?”“No,” you explain. “Actually, I’ve been trapped here on Tatooine. I ran a blockade through a fleet of pirate vessels under the command of Stolmy Keldau.” Vizsla’s smile drops considerably. “He and his band of Mandalorians are looking for the Darksaber, to legitimize his rule, and perhaps gather other stricken clans to his cause. He intends to become the new Mandalore.”Warmaster Vizsla scratches her chin, thinking on it. “I see…” She crosses her legs, sipping her tea. “And why exactly should we help you? Stolmy and his band of ‘Crusaders’ are well known to us, and while weakened considerably over the past few years, they are still a force to be reckoned with.”> Charisma: “Because then I’ll be indebted to you, Warmaster.”> Intelligence: “You eliminate a rival, it’s simple.”> Skill: “A fight’s a fight, isn’t it?”

>>44121044> Intelligence: “You eliminate a rival, it’s simple.”I mean running the blockade I cost him[list units here] Imagine how much damage you and your could do now?
>>44121044>Intelligence: “You eliminate a rival, it’s simple.”
>>44121270Good question. We're not explicitly calling in a favor on our own behalf; we're just saying "yo, Stozla and the Crusaders are here on Tatooine being cunts and hunting for the Darksaber; we're pinned down, so if you want it, you better get down here and find it before they do."
>>44121044> Intelligence: “You eliminate a rival, it’s simple.”
>>44121297Because we broke her nose with a bigass rock when we fought her weeks ago. As much as that hurt her, she declared the feud with Rhys over and their debts square. There's no reason to foist a new debt upon ourselves.
>>44121044>> Intelligence: “You eliminate a rival, it’s simple.”
>>44121044>Intelligence: “You eliminate a rival, it’s simple.”Pincer manuever, you deal with their front, we hit them from the rear.
>>44121044>Intelligence: “You eliminate a rival, it’s simple.”Better the threat removed or weakened than with the ability to beat you.
>>44121101we only too out 11 fighter but damaging their two corvettes.Maybe hitting their rear will help but they will have reinforcements.
I wonder how Uncle Owen's farm is handling these asshole Mandos.
>>44121576They're using power converters ay a rate that's unsustainable.
>>44121576The Mandos are actually giving the Lars homestead a wide berth. Local Jawas and Sand People in the area are talking of some kind of "desert guardian" that protects the local land.
>>44121044>Intelligence: “You eliminate a rival, it’s simple.”Also, they might have information on the Darksaber that we can pry from their databanks. The above is obviously a lie, but she won't know that.
>>44121627They must have a Krayt Dragon under some kind of control. What else could be making those noises?
>>44121801Old man Obi-Wan, you dummy.
> Intelligence: “You eliminate a rival, it’s simple.”You cross your arms. “You eliminate a rival. Very simple logic. Stolmy is challenging your right to rule and you can’t have that.” You lean in, looking Vizsla right in the eye. “Warmaster, Stolmy is commanding a force much larger and much more fanatical than yours. If he is allowed to grow any larger, you can say goodbye to the mantle of Mandalore.”“Hm. Send us the details. What is their fleet composition?” Without another word, you quickly compile a document indicating the strength and size of the Crusaders’ fleet. Warmaster Vizsla scratches her chin, then looks over at Erma. “Erma, What do you make of it?”“Their fleet is very patchwork. Although they outnumber us significantly, I believe we may be able to force a breakthrough with the use of the new Diamond-Boron missiles we acquired from those salvaged Broadside Cruisers. We can perhaps even capture some of these ships for our own use, if we play our cards carefully.”Vizsla nods. “Our ship is still so damaged though. Are our shields at least functioning?”Erma grunts. “At peak efficiency. We cannot slug it out with that Recusant and all of those Corvettes at once, but we will force a breakthrough with all of our firepower from our Y and H-Wings combined, along with the new Skipray Blastboats we stole as well. Intelligent coordination of all of our squadrons, combined with fire support from the Vode An, we can open a hole to allow a groundside force to relieve Rhys Cykgil and company and perhaps also allow for relief supplies for the local population.”[1/2]
>>44121824the jedi all died when they tried to overthrow Palpatine you silly billy
>>44121947You smile, leaning back, impressed at how well thought Erma’s plan is. It’s simple, but effective you suppose. “Well, there you have it, Warmaster. I can see why Erma is now one of your elite Nite Furies.”“Hmph.” Warmaster Vizsla smirks, proud of Erma. “Well, very well. The Furies will come to relieve Tatooine of its barbarian problem. I will personally lead the Vanguard and we will meet you planetside. Meet us in Mos Espa spaceport, Mister Cykgil. We can further discuss details down there.”“Very well, Warmaster. Thank you for your support.”She smiles and gives a little wave with her fingers, and with half-lidded eyes she says, “Ta, ta, Mister Cykgil.” Erma quickly gives you a throat slitting motion with her finger before the hologram cuts out.Ah, great. As if you need more women in your life.

>>44122050Thanks for the thread but for our new r3 what equipment does it have?
>>44122050Thanks for the run boss, Oujo Mando is too great. Also being Star Wars Nathan Filion is suffering.
>>44122076>All right, Warmaster. I have good news, bad news, and worse news.>...What's the good news?>I know where the Darksaber is.>Fantastic. Take us to it.>Let me finish. The bad news is that someone else already owns it.>...And?>And the worse news is that "someone else" is Jabba the Hutt.Oh, that'll be a fun discussion.
>>44122051The Furies have had a few lucky breaks in between when you last saw them and now.1. They've been raiding several shipyards in the Outer Rim, they came upon some H-Wings being delivered to a rebel base and basically stole them.2. A successful raid on an Imperial freighter netted a large shipment of Diamond-Boron missiles and a new supply ship for them in the form of a Gozanti-class Imperial Freighter.3. Erma, Uggla, and Lima were promoted to Nite Furies for their actions in all of these engagements. Lima's pet massiff Poke was promoted to Ultra Battle Buddy.>>44122075Stock parts and equipment, but includes a surprising variety of... other stuff.1. Blaster pistol of indeterminate make designed to be operated by R3.2. Buzzsaw that is clearly not designed for medical use.3. Short range flamethrower.4. Long range grenade launcher mounted in dome. No actual grenades for it though.
>>44122162>Ultra Battle Buddy2 cute, my heart
>>44122208look at it, it's so cute, it wants to kill you.
>>44122236with big sharp teeth.and kindness.
>>44122162How many round on the blaster? How many gendarmes can it hold?
>>44122286Thirty rounds.Five grenades.
>>44122328What are the conditions of our other ships? How long will it take for the furies to get here?
>>44122475R-22 is fully repaired.H-Wing is fully repaired.Sparks is also fully repaired.Lion's Share is still undergoing repairs but conditions have improved considerably from last time. The Furies will actually be here by tomorrow morning because fuck if i can into pacing things properly anymore
>>44122535So Misri will not get the makeshift generator to full power or complete adding the capital grade armor to the hill?
>>44122719Misri will work through the night with the astromechs to get it finished by morning.
>>44122750So how with the introduction of our new friend how will battle layout will be?Do Lev or R3 go to the turret gunner? Do they stay on the Bartoz?
>>44122860We'll figure that out when we get to it. Though I wouldn't trust R3 with more guns than necessary.
>>44122860>>44122941Basically yeah, you'll figure it out as the situation develops. But R3 wants the H-Wing.
>>44122941The only other slots we have our guns. Between the Quad Laser and Laser Cannon on the Bartolz and the Medium Laser Cannon on the H-wing, between that and flying. Gunnery is the only spot for the R3 wouldn't it? How is it's personality between R# and the other droids?
>>44122990R5 already described R3 as an "unruly" droid and promised to "teach it manners."
>>44122970I never seen anyone (who wasn't insane) to be the turret gunner.
>>44123023I kind of meant by interacting with the other droids. Sorry.
>>44122990R5 is a snarky but dedicated worker who will stick by you through thick and thin.TA-11 "Lev" is a Tactical Droid with a somewhat inflated opinion of himself but still relatively resourceful.Sparks is a playful but scary Vulture Droid.R3 is well... he's special in that wanting to wage war and destroy all the things kind of way. But he longs for the approval of others, as is dictated by his original personality programming. He wants you to witness him.
>>44123080Does he have any additional programming systems added to him, like a targeting program?
>>44123100Surprisingly, he actually doesn't have a targeting program of any kind despite his armament, which would explain a few things.
>>44123080We have our own warboy, neat.
>>44123080How operational is the Furies ship again? I forgot on how many ships it can carrier and a bit worry about how they can deal with this since it seems they have basically bombers and no escort fighters.
>>44123146They've repaired a lot of the systems since you've been gone, and only taken minor damage since you last saw them. Their weapons are mostly functional, the engines are working properly, shields are as they said operating at peak efficiency. They're still working out some kinks in their targeting software though which you sabotaged last time you were aboard.
>>44122970But looking at the wooki on the R3 wouldn't giving him a place with the most weapons (The Bartoz) a better idea since the R3 units are equipped to help with gunnery.
>>44123173Did we inform them of the damage corvettes which will probably be the best way to get through the blockade?
>>44123253They were part of the details that you skimmed over, they know.>>44123188R3 has the unfortunate fate of literally not having any targeting software at all, not even ones that would come stock.
>>44123080So he's the astromech version of Bender from Futrurama even the vomit reminded me of him.Wish we stole that R4 unit from before.
>>44123271I feel amused by our new droid but utterly horrified as well. Does it at least know the concept of friendly fire at least because i rather not have him shoot down furies,
>>44123346As long as you tell who not to shoot, it won't try.But if you tell him to shoot, he'll go kamikrazy and do whatever he can to blast them to bits.
>>44123378But won't the Crusader carry the same equipment as the Furies, does it have a way of designating a target?
>>44123484Well the Furies all distinctly girls, and most of the Crusaders are men. There's nothing really sophisticated about it.
>>44123512R3 can see into the cockpit on who He shoots?
>>44123581Ah, I thought you were referring to groundside stuff. No, it's relatively simply to just tell R3 not to fire on the Furies because they do use relatively distinct equipment from the Crusaders.
>>44123597but don't both of them use old clone war surplus? I mean don't the furies have anything else besides the heavy fighter/bombers or are their relying on their new missile to clear through that fighter screen?
>>44123655The Furies use exclusively fighter/bomber Starfighters, which means lots of BTL-B Y-Wings, a few H-Wings, Skipray Blastboats, the works. They also modify their bombers extensively to fire all kinds of armaments Uggla's personal Y-Wing is equipped with a Turbolaser from a Star Destroyer for example. They're very sophisticated and organized however.
>>44123715How does she even manage to power that thing or not have that move as slow as a rock?
>>44123767Stripped out the ion cannon armament, armor plating, reworked power supply with a specially modified generator. Only one barrel to work with though which means it's not as power consuming as you might think. And with that, I oughta head to bed. Good night anon.
