I'm sorry for starting late today. Captcha was being super glitchy and was being a total pain in the arse. Hopefully it will be solved by now.

Also sorry for leaving so soon the last thread. I was somewhat ill and tired from class and the combo of those two totally drained my motivations to run for that day.
>>
You were confused, wounded, tired and furious…but it was all worth it, was it?

Your descent towards the guts of the undercity gave you nothing but more questions. You had been the objective of a botched assassination attempt by a group of miners that was lead by Petra, a teenager psyker that apparently could glimpse the future in her dreams. This was the second time a seer told you that you were the cause of a future catastrophe of apocalyptic proportions. In both times the ones that saw that apparently unavoidable future tried to kill you in a desperate attempt to avert that destiny.

What were you? Were you special? Why? You didn’t wanted to be different, all you wanted now was to kill the two bastards that turned you into a monster, meet once more with Liwet and take care of your daughter Alaria. It was time to get answers; it was time to end all this nonsense for once.

After returning towards the academy you saw the entire building covered in debris and bullet holes. Even if the Nox Vox tried to kill you your hatred towards the Magii Coven made you wish that they had made more damage and killed more members.
>>
>>44059958

“We have managed to kill most of the attackers, their leader has run away. They won’t bother us again.” You told to the eccentric Magus that was waiting for you.

That was surely a lie as the possibilities of them attacking again were incredibly high. You knew that, and without a doubt many others did too. It didn’t matter much that people were able to see thru your false words or not, all you cared about was discovering the truth.

“So, when I am going to meet the Benefactors? I am pretty excited about it.”

“It will be soon; very soon. Tomorrow possibly, let us prepare the ground first, such high meeting needs the necessary rituals to do so. Our main Benefactor is also wishing to finally meet you.”

Those words reverberated on your ears as they were pronounced. A cold chill crossed your metallic spine. You were so close to your objective that what once was impatience now had mutated into utter fear. With a simple reverence you left him to work on his chores; you too had things to do.

>Rest for the day. You need to be completely fresh for tomorrow’s meeting.
>Go to the infirmary to check on the rash that the toxic waste had formed on your stomach.
>Contact with your Generals, see if they have made any new discovery.
>Try to find one of the black slabs that Walthari found. Investigate about it.
>Return to the underground and try to search for Petra on your own
>Return to the underground and recover the recordings of Axsiselios and Hellenica. Study them.

Holy fuck finally. I was about to end it for the day. I was even considering scrapping the quest and ending it sooner, simply telling how would I like it to end and not running ever again.

Writing now.
>>

Sorry Ax, I was waiting for your op but then I had an spill IRL to clean. What's got ya down?
>>
>>44060592
It's just that seeing how in decline this quest is turns me down and makes me sad. I think I should have ended way sooner, most people who used to read it have simply lost the interest and since it is so long getting new readers is a near impossible task. I just want to make people have fun reading this, but it is pretty hard if nobody participates.
>>
>>44060713
Your timeslot is harsh for your majority audience, it's the holidays where people usually work more and have less time for questing, and you're run time has gotten erratic. Once the holidays are over and schedules more forgiving, it'll pick back up. Also weekdays are slower then weekends in general.
>>
>>44060744
>Your timeslot is harsh for your majority audience
It's 8:50 PM right now. It is pretty late for me already. I simply cannot do it later. I would have to spend the night awake to run in an hour that would suit the americans. I simply cannot do that.

>it's the holidays where people usually work more and have less time for questing
Do you think I should simply wait until christmas are over?

>and you're run time has gotten erratic
I know I know. I don't have any excuse for this. It's just that my life has become more active and thus I simply run whenver I can.
>>
>>44060788
>Do you think I should simply wait until christmas are over?
your call boss but it will only get worse for non school kids trying to catch you until after the holidays.

>It's just that my life has become more active and thus I simply run whenver I can.
RL first boss, I was just noting it

you do what you think is best, pretty sure some more people will come in shorty.

>Go to the infirmary to check on the rash that the toxic waste had formed on your stomach.

Whatever you were about to find it was surely dangerous. You better check yourself first, no matter how strong or armed you are, if you get into a combat already wounded your chances of dying increase exponentially. The Medicae Bay was filled to the tops with wounded people and even several cadavers, some of which used to be regular students and were now going to be processed into useful chemicals and have their bionics extracted and reinstalled in new users or melted down and recycled if they were damaged enough.

Since you were now a member of the Coven the servitors and auto-docs gave you priority over all the regular students, and even the ones that had grievous wounds and required urgent treatment were displaced backwards and forced to wait, something that would surely kills several of them from the lack of assistance.

No matter how many times you told them that your wound could wait they insisted in attending you first, it was obvious that those doctors wanted to treat the more urgent patients, regardless of how low their rank was but still they were forced to use their medical arts on you first. There was a very strict hierarchy there and you were now on the higher echelons, you were above them all.
>>
>>44061265

When the Medic saw your rash he studied it and took a sample of your hermetic blood. Luckily for you, the liquid on your veins was so resistant that it didn't became irradiated and hence you didn't had any risk of developing leukemia. The rash was simply an allergic reaction to such toxic substance and after applying an herbal ointment you felt how the pain started to fade away. After that you left the place and saw how several patients had died while waiting to be attended due to you. You did all you could trying to convince the Doctor into attending them first but he sternly said that the hierarchy had to be followed. There was nothing you could have done, and therefore lamenting their deaths was pointless.

>Contact with your Generals, see if they have made any new discovery.

Now that you were somewhat better you decided to head into the roof of the school once more to try to connect to some antenna and see if you can contact with your Generals. Thanks to your six wings the ascending wasn't hard, making the connection on the other hand probed to be quite the challenge, most of the antennas and comm devices had been destroyed, there was a short wave radio beacon on top, maybe someone was trying to talk with the exterior while they were being attacked, not a bad idea, but it was useless for you.

You looked above and saw that the energy shield was active and stronger than before. The Academy and the Coven were now weakened and the necessity of strengthening their defenses was bigger than ever. It seemed that there was no way of crossing it in or out. Hopefully the electromagnetic waves would be able to surpass those shields and spread your message towards your loyal men.
>>
>>44061275

Luckily for you there was nobody around to bother you so you had no trouble into starting to tinker with the few working antennas. After working hard for about an hour you managed to create a working transmitter that barely managed to cross the energetic barrier that loomed over you and covered the entire building with a dome of crackling energy.

Campiní , Georgius and Walthari didn't answered back, only static came from their frequencies. Knowing how hard for those waves was to cross the barrier you hoped much but still having one of them answer back was kind of hope crushing, besides, it was the second time that Georgius didn't answered your messages, it was starting to turn worrisome. Nathaniella was the last one you tried to contact and the only one that answered back, hearing her voice made you feel pretty relieved to be honest. The last thing you knew from her was that she was exploring the lower levels of the underground city.

"Nathaniella, do you copy?"

"Yes, yes I do. I have found, something quite odd."

"Report what it is."
>>
"A black pillar, about one hundred and fifty feet tall, it seems to connect with the ground level, it's completely smooth. This anomaly its odd because I can see that its here, but not catch it. I mean, I am pretty sure that it exists but my external pict-camera cannot record it. All it gives is snow or at most a blurry image. It is cold to the touch and there appear to be some parts that are from a different material, they seem to form some icons or glyphs."

"Where are you now?"

"I have descended from the sewers to some natural caverns that have taken me to what seems to be a small abandonded settlement, there is a great fabricatorium in the distance. I heard some gunfigths and combat sounds not long ago but by the time I reached the place everybody seemed to be dead already."

Nathaniella was just under your feet, that explained why the signal was so good with her.

>Tell her to wait and descend towards the tunnel, meet her and study the black pillar.
>Tell her to continue scouting the town and to start searching for Petra.
>Tell her to retreat, she could be attacked by a group of Nox Vox survivors at any time.

"I know where you are, let's rendezvous at the top of the abandoned Fabricatorium. ETA minus fifteen minutes."

"Roger Roger."

With a quick jump you descended onto the floor level and then quickly strode towards the massive perforated hole from which you came in. This time instead of using the drill you used your long wings to descend. Since they were so big you couldn't extend them to their full size and more than real flight all you did was plunge into the darkness while you glided, with each meter that you advanced your speed increased more and more until you reached your maximum possible speed, you fell so fast that the own friction of the air was starting to generate turbulences and making your wings and chest grate over the wall and floor.

When you reached the end of the tunnel and entered into the massive cavern you noticed that your wings had been locked in their position for the many G-forces and stress that they had suffered. Each second you saw yourself closer and closer to the wall of the Fabricatorium where Nathaniella awaited, unless you did something you would fatally crash.

You have fought aliens, crazed cultists, mutants and even daemons of several kinds. It won't be a god-damm wall the one that will bring you down!

As if they were pneumatic jackhammers you retract both arms and punch the floor at the same time. It is somewhat ridiculous but it works. After your strong punches your body starts to tilt upwards and thanks to your own gliding wings and already existing acceleration you start to ascend and decelerate. You reach a stop about ten feet above the roof your destination. You land heavily and with little grace but the kinetic crash is enough to unlock the servos of the wings and make them become as articulate as before. From outside what has been an improvised emergency maneuver has looked like a daredevil act full of boldness and agility.

"Is your life a constant act of danger?" Nathaniella says, as she has been the only one that has been able to see your act.

"It was not what I wanted, but it seems that danger shows whereas I go."

"Then those dangers would have to face me and my Skitarii sire. We have sworn to protect your back."

"And I am lucky of that. Can you now show me your discovery?"

Nathaniella then nodded started to descend towards ground level by using a rope. She couldn't fly and it wasn't until then that you noticed that she might had trouble to reach such place, still she had managed to obey your orders without questioning them. She was a good soldier.
>>
>>44062118

Once you two were on floor level you saw that on the other side there was a small sized town that looked in disrepair and abandonment. It was surely a small mining town whose economy centered about the extraction of valuable ore. Most of what they mined went towards the forges but another smaller portion was for theirs to keep and they surely used it on the Fabricatorium to build their own tools and other possible machinery. Maybe the Nox Vox used to live in there, maybe this town was abandoned when the mines went dry and they only used it as a temporal base. Whatever the reason it wasn't important now, your duty was to study the strange pillar.

On the center of the town there was a massive statue of a techpriest holding a Omnissiah Power Axe on his hands. It was by far the biggest building of the town and the rest of the houses paled in comparison in dimensions and quality. There was a Mechanicus symbol on the base of the statue, a skull whose right half had been augmented; as you walked closer to the statue you saw that the bionic eye of the symbol wasn't made from rockcrete like the rest of the building but a crystalline lens as if it were a real augmented eye. From its interior a very faint laser light illuminated a path, it seemed that aeons ago that laser sight had been way greater but that the years had drained the internal battery until it was little more than a thing red cord.
>>
>>44062130

That laser sight went for several feet, maybe even a thousand feet before it reached the black column. During its path it didn't crossed any obstacle or building. It was strange, it seemed that the column had been covered the bedrock for years and that only a recent minor tremor has revealed its position, still the statue clearly pointed its location. Maybe the artisan of the statue knew what the column was and tried to tell everybody of where it was but it couldn't simply say it.

It was just as she described, a massive black pillar that has half covered in natural rock and seemed to ascend to the upper level, where the city was located. By looking at it with several of your optics you saw that some vision spectrums could detect it while others couldn't, it was as if it were partiallt invisible. You looked at your clock and saw that time had flied, several hours had passed.

>Spend the last hours studying the pillar with Nathaniella.
>See if now that you are out of the Energy Shield's reach you can contact the rest. If possible ask them all to come and study the pillar while you rest.
>Whatever happens it might be big, ask your men to position themselves around the Academy and all your Skitarii and warriors to descend to the planet.

"Stay in there and make guard. Whatever this is it might be dangerous, we cannot let strangers get close to it. Maximum precaution with it. Do not touch it. I'll return shortly."

After saying that she gave you a military salute and you flew towards the ceiling of the cavern. As you flew you unsheathed your hidden powerblade and used it to stick yourself to the roof and maintain a steady position without having to use the wings. Once it there you were pretty close to the upper levels, you could in fact hear and sense the vibrations of the hundreds of feet and vehicle tires that were moving only mere inches above your head. In that position you would be pretty near antennas and repeaters that would let you contact with the exterior. Once you were completely steadily hold into position you started to transmit your message.

"Requesting contact with channel =][= 0419-Alpha-Sigma-Sigma. Confirmation code Zero, Zero, Apple, Jack, Terra, Blue."

Your message crossed the air channels and ascended into the skies until it reached one of the many secret BioHost Satellites that hovered around your planet. A single blip confirmed that you had been given accreditation and that your message was now being recorded.
>>
>>44062799

"Speaking from the Interior of Telematha. There is a strange Coven made entirely by Magos of an Scholastic Academy in Aquacadens city. Among the members of the Academy there are two in particular, ArchMagos Biologis Axsiselios and ArchMagos Artisan Hellenica, as far as I know those were the ones that placed the chip on me and created it on the first place respectively. I have managed to get inside the Coven and I have clashed with a psyker girl that seems to be able to predict the future, she has told me that I will unleash a cataclysm and that I have to die. The Eldar witch said something similar. I'll meet the Benefactors tomorrow. End of the Message."

The Inquisitor and his allies were stations several light years away. About two weeks of warp travel. They couldn't get closer without raising suspicion, no matter how powerful the Inquisition is if they tried to attempt to spy a Forge World they have all the chances of failing with their mission and being attacked back. The hatred between the Mechanicus and the Inquisition is noteworthy after all. That is why they had to use you as a proxy, they left you on your own.

Still, even if they were several light years away that message was simple data. They surely have an Astropath somewhere ready to instantly send it. They might not be able to aid you instantly but communication was possible to some degree. With that done you descended and let your wings slowly carry you towards the floor as if you were a falling leave.
>>
>>44062811

>Spend the last hours studying the pillar with Nathaniella

"What do you think it is?" You ask her, who has been surely thinking about that during the last minutes.

"Can't say. It is ancient that for sure. Geology isn't my specialty but according to the rock strata this pillar could have been lodged there for many millennia, even way before this planet was discovered by the Imperium."

"Xenotech then?"

"I'm unsure of that. I don't recognize any kind of mechanism or anything that could give us a hint. For all that I know this could be a great Dark Age of Technology discovery. It could explain why the statue was pointing at it with its laser."

"If it were an STC or similar why would have they left it hidden? I think that the artist was trying to tell us about the pillar, that it is an Omen or some kind, its message could be that Technology recognizes Technology, even if it is alien or tainted."

You looked at the column and saw its surface completely smooth and black.

"You said that there were some kind of glyphs. I cannot see them."
>>
>>44062822

Nathaniella then pointed a lux caster at the surface, most of the wall continued being jet black as if it absorbed all the light while other parts reflected it. The parts that reflected lights formed some symbols made from circles and straight lines, they were strange and alien looking and altogether they resembled a circuit board of some kind.

"Any idea of what do they say?" She told you.

"No...but I think I have seen those same symbols somewhere. It was years ago, when I was a prisoner and forced to run in races for some orks. I saw an orb with those same looking glyphs, it is incredibly advanced technology but I still don't know if it is human or alien..."

During the following hours you two tried to discover what those symbol means to no success, after that you and she tried to chop part of the wall to have a sample to study but once again it was moot, the surface was resistant to even your powersword. By the time you noticed it was soon time for your appointment with the Benefactor. It was now or never

>Call for Nathaniella's best Skitarii and go with them as bodyguards, who knows what will happen.

"Nathaniella, I'll require your best Skitarii, order them to come down there. Continue with your good work but be prepared, there is a danger that hovers over us and I think it will make its landing pretty soon."

She looked at you somewhat worried and then nodded before she looked at her dataslate and selected a few names before sending them an instant message. It took them about an hour to completely reach the sewers and further descend into the caverns were you were. When they came you saw that they were a pretty homogeneous group of five red robbed warriors that wore the silver and gold trimmed armor and color scheme of your ship.

"From now on you all are tasked with my protection. Anything that posses a risk for me is to be eliminated. Understood?"

"010100110100100101010010001000000101100101000101010100110010000001010011010010010101001000100001"
>>
>>44064254

Along with them you needed hour to ascend back. The Magii in there were pretty surprised to see you with warriors and even wondered how did they managed to cross the energy barrier. It was obvious that they were so out of touch with what war was that they had completely forgotten about the tunnel hole.

"I'm here to meet with the Benefactor. He should be awaiting me."

"Y-yes of course!" Said the same Magus that talked with you yesterday. "Please come to the Teleportarium with me."

He took you towards a massive room in the lower levels that was completely circular and covered in coils and hundreds of nixie tubes that showed several numbers and letters that changed at all times, they could be codes, coordinates or even numbers for all you knew, they all changed way too quickly before you could completely read them. In the center of the room lied a great hexagonal plaque that somehow hovered over the ground.

"Please stay in the plaque." He said, somewhat shyly and intimidated by the five warriors and you.
>>
>>44064265
Once everybody was on place he pushed some buttons from a panel on the floor and quickly left the room. The entire room started to slowly spin and the numbers and letters from the Nixie tubes started to change faster and faster until they became a blurry sphere of light, as the seconds passed the room spun faster and faster while you all stood in place on the plaque. From several places tubes exploded from the sheer stress and power output creating a shower of sparks that fell over you all. There was then a time in which the room became a complete wall of light and then suddenly, darkness. The plaque vibrated for a second and then went , falling down and making you all stumble. There was a figure in the far distance, a inhumanly tall man that moved across the darkness and approached you all with its long and deadly Scythe as if it were death incarnate. All the Skitarii got in position and raised their weapons at the stranger who didn't flinch nor react. When it got closer you managed to see that it was no human, but a machine.

The incredibly tall and slender man walked with swift steps and sent shimmering shining lights when his metallic articulations and mechanisms perfectly intertwined and moved with a grace that seemed to be impossible coming from a being that was so artificial and ancient. He was old, incredibly old, yet his body appeared to not have been affected by time in the same way that mere mortals do. Somehow his dead eyes showed a level of intensity and experience behind them that proved that he had seen creatures that nobody ever should even glare at and events that,if heard, would be considered mad ramblings from a psychotic person. The only part of his body that looked to be somewhat deteriorated or affected by rust was his lower jaw, it seemed as if it had been completely locked in position and was unable to move even the slightest inch. After doing his advance he looked at you, and then a flash of light froze everything in time.
>>
>>44064278
Somehow, he had managed to create an invisible bubble of stasis in which you two could move at normal speed while the rest laid completely immobile. Time wasn’t completely halted thought, after looking at your crackling power sword you noticed that its energy sparks moved at an incredibly slow pace, something extremely noteworthy considering that those were pure energy and hence moved at the speed of light. Before you could react, the alien made his act.

You expected an attack, an execution, but instead you found a mental monologue whose words echoed inside your brain like tubular bells and sounded ghastly yet emphatic.

“I am Szarekh, a self-imposed Silent King, for my actions led to the biggest silence that the Galaxy has ever experienced. Right before that cataclysm came onto my hands I was leading a war that should never happened and whose actions still endure and affect to this day. Your kin was a desperate creation made by some desperate Old Ones… they were so hypocrite that they thought themselves as the judges of who was fit to live and who had to die. My people was condemned to a natural and inescapable death at the hands of the Cancer and Tumors. Our primal enemies thought that it was a lesson of humility that showed how frail life was; that we were the living example of life and death. They had the ways of saving us yet they declined giving us aid and after we retaliated they created several races that were forced to fight in a war that they had originated and escalated into complete genocide."

He moved in circles around you and let you see more details. He was a robotic skeletal humanoid with several strange tubes inside its chestcage and what seemed to be a mechanical heart pumping a neon green liquid.
>>
>>44064292

"When we found your race the war was at its last years, your kin was nothing but a scared animal with a microscopic hint of intelligence on their craniums…the Old Ones decided to use some of their strange Majyyks to turn those grains of sand into a small mound and therefore the race of Man was born. It was an unfinished project thought, they died long before they could further guide your evolution, your kin was orphaned, but that was good, you had been freed from their tyranny. We found your race and saw that they were fit; that what they had in excess was what we lacked; adaptability, endurance and spirit. The Necrontyr pitied the humans and at the same time envied them. Believing ourselves superior we also decided to tamper with your genome and future, to guide your people into a living dream. We would go to sleep and hoped to find your race to be as anathema to the Warp as we were, your people would be the heirs of the Mantle of the Necrontyr. But what we found instead was the inverse. The gift of the soulness wasn’t spread as it should and in lieu of that there are now several millions of humans with the same Majyyks that the Old Ones used to dominate, even your Gilded Deity is the greatest of your psykers…”

Szarekh walked, you tried to move but found yourself unable to do so, it wasn’t that you were paralyzed, your clothing and other objects that weren’t part of yourself had also become affected by the time dilation and hence moving them was a seemingly titanic effort.

Calmly, he looked at some of the Skitarii that had entered with you and using his War Scythe he softly pushed the tip of his curved blade into their hearts. You didn’t knew if it was because of the effect of his Hyperphase weapon or maybe that the strange time dilation had made his slow attack feel and act like a supersonic one, but his mere push was able to enter inside their armors and bodies as if they were made from molten wax instead of layers of ceramite and hardened muscles. One by one he managed to kill them all, each time his blade retracted completely clean of blood. Those people were dead; it was just that they didn’t knew it yet.

“This wasn’t a complete defeat thought. The same endurance, adaptability and spirit had prevailed up to this day. It wasn’t until my kind completely devoted itself to the Biotransference that I understood the great mistake that I had made. In this universe most people might think that they have pitiful lives and wouldn’t mind dying, but they are nothing but ignorants who cannot comprehend what true torture is. Not even in a million of planetary cycles I could start to explain how hellish is to be erased and turned into a Necron. Our dream is a galaxy in which the taint has been completely erased. The Pariah project has been a success and now the phase 2 is about to end.”

With another flash of light the Stasis Dilation went off and all returned to its normal state. Your two hearts suddenly started beating with a great stress and speed and they felt as if they were about to explode. You fell to your knees and so did all the Skitarius that entered with you and were killed by Szarekh’s hands. All the surrounding Darkness faded away and you saw that you were in some kind of hidden platform that hovered far above the city of Aquacadens. Now that you could see around you noticed that there were also several xenos warriors around, Necrons as he has called them, Skeletal machines with no soul.

“Humanity has made many mistakes but I am still benevolent enough to believe that your kind might make good heirs and serfs. The first phase was turning the Blank humans that we found into Pariahs to recreate the process of biotransference; the second step was to turn these same Blanks into beings with soul and now you are the living proof of it being a reality…Now we only have to recreate that with our own kin.”

The Silent King looked at one of his Necron Warriors and it advanced with its gaunt legs towards your side, completely ignoring all the dead bodies that were near him. You stood up as best as you could and readied to fight it. To your surprise it got on one knee and bowed its head.

“We were once living beings, we defeated death and became immortals, and now, we will bend the immutable rules once again.”

Szarekh grabbed a small jet black cube that radiated a green sickly looking energy and pressed it against the nape of the Necron warrior, strangely the object entered into its metallic skull as if it were liquid and then the soulless xeno started to glow and vibrate. A process that you could only describe as scarring happened then, from the body and guts of the Necron several strands of sinew, flesh and muscle started to grow. Once it had vocal chords it started screaming over and over as the process of regeneration was taking place, each second the rebirthed Necrontyr had more and more nerve endings and thus pain receptors that had been shut down for millions of years started to reactivate. The process was quick but so intense and horrific that it felt as if it had lasted for several hours.

In front of you stood a xenos woman, naked and with her legs and arms exchanged for bionic counterparts that had the same appearance and style than the other Necron machinery.

“Souls are a resource, and hence they can be both destroyed and created. What once was a Necrontyr became a Necron, and now we can finally reverse the process. Thanks to you we will now be able to regain the universe, erect the pylons and rule as the owners of all the Material Realm… Phase 3 will start now.”

The scared Necrontyr female lied on the floor on a fetal position, crying and surely reviving all the times that she had died and all the people that she was forced to kill.

Szarekh didn't killed you yet, he seemed to have some respect to you due to your aid in that "Second Phase".

“What’s the third Phase?” You asked completely perturbed by all you had experienced.

“Right now, the Galaxy is a tumultuous place. Eldars, Orks, Tyrannids and many other foul sentients plague its planets and stars. Life comes with a price… death.”

Another Necron came and got on the same position as the other one was originally. With a swift movement he decapitated both the sobbing xenos girl and the mechanical Necron; from both their necks a stream of greenish and chemically stinking blood sprouted and showered you two. Without a word he then raised a green orb and the destroyed Necron Warrior started to repair and reawaken, unlike the Necron the beheaded Necrontyr didn’t raised, she was completely dead.

“Death brings life. Life brings Death. To fully rebirth the Necrontyr race we will have to destroy all the others who oppose our future. The third phase will be turning all who side with us into good serfs and all who oppose, into nothing."

His eyes glowed for a second and a great rumble started to be heard from down below the city. You looked from your position and saw that the same black pillars that you had observed were now ascending into the city. There were at least a hundred of them, each in pairs and all equally terrifying.

"You are now an icon, an icon of hope for both the Telemathans and the Necrons..." He whispered.

Several buildings broken down as the ascension of the pillars destroyed entire walls, there was chaos and confusion on the streets as nobody knew what was going on. Then the columns illuminated and their glyphs turned bright green. On the ceiling of the cavern were you were and as if it were a sun in miniature a green sphere of fire formed and started to change in shape until it got your face, it was a perfect recreation of you, a flaming skull in the heavens.

"People of Telematha, your rapture has finally come. I, Heracor Nahive will be the Angel that will carry you all to the promised land! Join me in the heaven of the Omnissiah for eternity!"

Between the pillars a circle of green light formed and thousands of people started to enter it in droves. As soon as they touched the light they disappeared with a flash and soon the entire city became empty.

"What have you done? Why have you abducted the entire city?"

"City? This place is nothing but a squalor filled village compared with the original magnificence of the Necrontyr cities. This isn't your planet, this is ours. The Rapture isn't only happening in Aquacadens, but worldwide..."

Everywhere you looked all you saw were empty streets, it was as if suddenly everybody had vanished.

"I'm just letting you live because you have been useful for us, Heracor. I would even permit you become my own personal serf. Do tell me... what do you say?"

Several thousands of light years away a monitor starts to bleep, a message that nobody wanted to see is appearing. A overworked data analyzer reads it and feels the world crumbling on his feet. Literally, the worst thing that could happen in this critical mission has happened. He prints the message in scroll paper and runs towards Inquisitor Iantorus.

"Sire! W-We...We have lost his signal. Heracor has suddenly disappeared. "

"Is he dead?"

"Impossible to say, but there is about 95% of him being deceased."

"We have been polite enough. Call in everybody, we are declaring war on Telematha and giving them the status of Traitoris Maximus."

+++ We will now Spend some threads playing as somebody besides Heracor, is up to you chose who! +++

Well I think I should remark some stuff:

If we go with Oihan we will also have Arwa as our scout, Fire in the Skin as the medic and Techpriest Todd as the Enginseer. It will be more combat oriented and less focused on the technical things, as it will be from Oihan's viewpoint.

If we go with the Inquisitor we will have access to a great asset of toys but go mostly solo.

Alphonse is the son of two already mentioned characters and a young and hothead yet surprisingly skilled Princeps. He pilots a Reaver class titan that is equipped with a titan sized power fist and a Gatling Blaster

If we go with Grey Knight Caleb we will also go with some other Grey Knights.

If we select the Culexus assasin we will be encomended the hunt of several high priority targets, we will also control another assasins from other houses, from example Callidus, Vindicare and Eversor.

With the Write in you guys can add anything that isn't way too over the top. Rogue Traders, Knight pilots, Space Marines and similar ones are accepted. But not stuff like heretics or xenos.
