It's been a week since you were taken under Master Tikran's wing formally, the woman continuing to train you in the ways of the Force and in lightsaber combat. Every day you've been growing by leaps and bounds, many in the Academy are concerned or amazed with how fast you've actually been developing your skills, wondering just what you really are. From a new Apprentice to an actual Padawan within two weeks of coming to the Academy, it's practically unheard of, the process normally taking months, if not years to be made official.

Tikran has said that she will not be the only one training you though, not just yet at least. As much time as you have been spending together, she does have several council duties to attend to, while the woman is still currently on Tython, she's not able to train you every day, instead entrusting your training, for the moment, to a friend of hers.

Master Vesu.

While the man isn't on the Jedi Council, he's still a tremendous force to be reckoned with, having told you several stories about his time fighting against the Sith during the war, how many he defeated because they allowed themselves to fall to their anger. Aside from telling you those stories though, or correcting your style in Makashi, he doesn't speak all that much.

As you finishing sparring with Renari, the girl still currently your only friend at the Academy, Vesu speaks up from the sideline.

It's been like this for the past two days, the two of you training under Master Vesu. Renari hasn't been officially taken on by Tikran yet, not like you were, but from the way the woman was speaking, it wouldn't be too long before that could change, and you'd have a Co-Padawan under your Master.

Friendly sparring matches against people who are going easy on you, or simply dont know what to do.

This makes it difficult to compare him to Xanth, as they work with very much different criteria

"So are we done for the day Master? We normally finish up with the sparring after all?" Renari asks as the two of you de-activate your lightsabers and put them away. You were about to ask the same thing, it's about dinner time, your favorite time of the day, next to breakfast, and lunch.

You still really haven't gotten over the whole food thing that the Academy does, all of it is free and so long as you aren't being a glutton, you're free to eat as much as you want. Really different from the streets of Nar Shadda, where you had to scrounge for every scrap you could get your boney little hands on. Even in just the small amount of time you've been here, you've bulked up a bit, the constant physical training along with all the food you've had access to, it's done wonders for your physicality.

"That will be the case for today, I was going to end things soon anyways, there was a meeting scheduled for the present Masters this evening, I didn't want to draw things out too close to it." The Zabrak replies.

"Though I will answer any last minute questions you have, if there are any left."

"I'll consider it, you're an impressive fighter Zev, but you still have much to learn if you're going to be a true Jedi. Flesh Raiders might not be too much of a challenge for you at this point, but don't go thinking you're the next Revan." Vesu says, before waving the two of you away. "Now, go on, I've some business to take care of before the meeting."

Dismissed by your teacher, you and Renari are left wandering the halls of the Academy once again.

With a sigh, the girl rolls her eyes at you. This has become the common routine for the two of you. Wake up in her bed, food, training, more food, bit more training, bed. Day in and day out it's prtty much been the same sort of activities though you certainly haven't complained about it yet.

It's not too much longer before the two of you have your trays and are taking a seat at a table, once again making it just in time before the rest of the Academy pretty much starts flooding in, though with a distinct lack of Masters in charge of the room today... could make things pretty interesting if the 'kids' are being left to their own devices for a while.

Chowing down on a bowl of chili with some kind of 'mystery' meat in it, you know it's probably best not to ask too many questions about where it came from.

Renari doesn't seem too pleased with it either, but you're still going to eat every bit of it, no sense in wasting food after all.

"Hey Rena? Master Vesu mentioned someone back there, someone named Revan, who was that? Sounded like he was pretty important." You question the girl as you eat another bite of your chili. The name sounds kinda familiar for some reason, but you really can't place why that is.

"Revan was..." The girl starts, before tapping her chin a few times, looking up as she appears to be thinking. "Revan was evidently one of the strongest Force users that ever lived. He was a Jedi that fell to the dark side, almost destroyed the Republic, was betrayed by his apprentice and brought back to the light side, and saved the Republic from his former apprentice. Not long after that he just sorta... vanished."

Shrugging, Renari continues "Can't tell you how much of that is actually true of course, it's been a long time since he was around, but evidently Grand Master Shan is his descendent, could explain why she's so strong in the force. When powerful force users have children, the child tends to be strong as well."

Huh, well that's fairly interesting, sounds like Revan was quite the powerful Jedi and Sith.

"So what do you think the Masters are talking about in their meeting?" Your next question comes.

"Probably what planet they're going to exile us to, my guess is gonna be Tatooine, nasty planet that one is I've heard."

Renari keeps talking about not being afraid of the dark side, or being Sith, but after Master Tikran taught you how to refine your sensing, it became a lot easier to realize the girl really, really wasn't that attuned to the dark side. She was more in a... middling spot in regards to everyone else you felt so far.

Tikran says the same about you, though with a touch more 'warmth' in you, representing the Light that you have.

"We're not gonna get exiled, besides, even if we do, that just gives us more of a chance to go and explore the galaxy, have some real fun!" You say with a grin, clasping your hand on the girl's shoulder.

"It's good you're so eager to accept your fate, rat, you and the Sith aren't going to be around for much longer, then the real Apprentices can go back to recieving our proper praises." A voice comes from behind you.

You say in an even voice, giving Renari a wink as you do so, taking a drink of your blue milk afterwards, don't know where it comes from, don't wanna know.

"See, Jerridan was right, they really are planning an escape! We gotta go tell the masters!" A female voice says, speaking low, as though it's not right behind you.

"Boy the Jedi sure do pick some smart ones for their lot. It's called sarcasm, ya scav fodder, now what do you buncha nerf herders want with me and my friend?" You ask as you spin around in your seat to face the group behind you.

It's a group of several Apprentices, varied races and genders, but there's only one of them that you actually recognize, and he's leading the pack, looking at you with quite the angry face. Either that or he's about to make a mess of his pants.

The kid that you pretty much humilated on your first day here, Jerridan, seems to have gathered his own little posse of like minded individuals.

"Oh but of course dear, we'll tell the Sith about all their naughty little secrets, I'll even let you do that one thing you like on our shuttle ride out of this backwater world... you know the one~" Rena says in a cheery voice as she leans over and kisses you on the cheek, resting her elbows looking at the group.

"Well I am a sith lover, at least in one way, ain't that right Rena?" Shooting a grin and blowing a kiss back to the redhead.

"Hnn~ Oh you better believe he is, all night and whenever else we want... Master Zev is always trying to punish me for my misdeeds~" She says with a giggle, and you can tell that it's made several of the apprentices look very uncomfortable, hints of red on their faces as they look between you and Jerridan.

"Enough! Draw your sword and fight me, I'll pay you back for last time!" The teenager commands of you.

"Put away your weapon idiot... else I'm gonna make you put it away." You warn him.

Instead of doing the smart thing, Jerridan ignites his blade, the green coming to life and halting just before your face. "Fine, if you won't take this seriously, have at you!" He cries and swings his weapon at you.

It looks like the boy is practically swinging in slow motion as he attacks you, you're easily able to slip to the side and let his blade smack into the table you had just been sitting at. Growling with frustration, he charges at you, again and again trying to slash or stab at you, but it's all too simple for you to duck, weave, and dodge his blows.

"C'mon kid, you can do better than this, can't ya?" You ask with a grin as he keeps trying to attack you.

"Don't just stand there, help me, we have to teach them a lesson!" Jerridan yells to his friends, who nervously look to each other before reaching in for their training sabers.

I think that would be a bit overpowered. We would just create a wave of mega-crits whenever we critted. However, on our next training roll, we could spend a point to boost our gains.
