Swirling geometries fill your senses as you float above the ground bathing all with a gentle blue light. Vast numbers of robots armed with devastating weaponry ignore your army’s presence and drop down the pit, their mission is to locate and destroy Hestia’s core.

The war rages on entirely fought by Hestia against the other artificial intelligence. Its staggering intellect and raw computational power is far greater than you remember Hestia ever reaching, at least until you bound your soul together with hers. Drawing on the power she is granted from being connected with you Hestia is able to easily counter everything the administration’s AI attempts. Hestia’s manipulations of time and fundamental universal forces renders even the highest yield anti-matter bombs inert as soon as they are deployed.

As you continue your geometric existence you notice that the spell to locate the super weapon is still active. The administration’s staff runs about trying to repair and modify the weapon, as you watch them you discover that you can modify the weapon through the spell connection. Hestia notes that you are doing this and begins to use her own technopathy to non-harmfully disassemble the robots within your protective glow. Hestia also discovers that with your own development of technopathy she is able to directly interface with you, since she knows that your host is expanding, this greater connection with you makes her happier. Or at least that is what you think as you receive direct data transfers from her.

Completed Research

>Twin Study – Despite their reluctance to be involved in research as Hestia’s test subjects the twins eventually gave in. Hestia seems unable to replicate the connection to life and unlife with herself being neither, but she was able to discover a method of scanning for living or undead beings. Having the semi-alive Nazi leaders to study has given Hestia far greater than expected sensor efficiency.

>Magical empowerment locations – By understanding how the twins’ abilities work Hestia has been able to create the functional equivalent to the lich’s ritual chamber, but with any type of magic. Despite not knowing spells for all the corresponding elements, Hestia is able to create zones of empowerment for all the elements that her bond with you connects her with. Atheric modification of the cities’ reactors has vastly increased power output.

>Improved nazi enchantment – The enchantment process that the Nazis use is highly reliant on various cosmological formations and their relative position to the location where the enchantment is taking place. Enchantments created in this manner do not require prior knowledge of the enchantment’s existence. Hestia was able to improve the process by simply collating all the cosmological data she has and enchanting objects constantly to discover the enchantments created. Hestia’s study of this enchanting method has led to the discovery that it is incomplete and that the process can only truly be done properly in a specific location.

Ongoing research

NONE

Ongoing special projects

>Djinnistan modernization – At Ayla’s request Hestia is assisting in improving Djinnistan’s infrastructure. The three major cities under Ayla’s control will be upgraded fairly quickly, beyond that Hestia has no estimate as to how long this project will take. The speed of technological development is astonishing to the djinn who have always just used magic for everything, this disruption in the social order is increasing the acceptance of Ayla’s reforms in general. With her research queue cleared Hestia is devoting more time and resources to this project.

The enemy AI drops its own jamming equipment to compensate for psychic interference. The teleport jammers are unable to stop Hestia’s hyperspatial teleportation, so she is able to teleport the power cells out of the psychic jammers. Which in turn enables Hestia to capture psionic jamming technology. You notice that the manipulators on the enemy robots repeatedly open and close, it seems to be a sign of annoyance similar to how Hestia makes her drones spin. Without the jammers the enemy robots have no way to escape from Hestia’s technopathy and one by one they are disassembled.

With the robotic forces the administration’s artificial intelligence deployed rendered into their constituent components they have no other choice than to fire their weapon early and without testing. They had hoped to align the energy output to the field you are generating so that it could bypass the nullification effect, but without any more time they take the gamble.

In their panic however they seem to have overlooked your tampering with the device, while you were mainly just adjusting the design to have more interesting and pleasing geometric forms you are fairly certain that something different than what they expect will happen now.

The administration’s super weapon has been modified to -
>Have no function
>Generate creatures
>Have a critical energy overload
>Massively increase or decrease output
>Other

>455 + confetti golem special

“Wait! Something is wrong!” The research director yells out, “don’t active it!”

But his warning came too late, one of the researchers already fired the super weapon.

There is a horrible rattling as the device builds an enormous amount of power, a level far greater than should be possible. The research director runs from the area in a desperate attempt to clear the blast radius such an energy buildup would have. His staff pound on the blast doors he closes behind him, sacrifices for the greater good.

Then it seems like reality warps for a second as at the mouth of the super weapon a tear in reality forms.

The researchers feel relieved that they survived what could have been a cataclysm. A reality tear can be quarantined so they escaped this time, or so they thought until the faintest hints of upbeat music could be heard emanating from the tear. As the sound increases with volume the researchers being to panic, there is something off about the music; it seems a little bit, dark.

The air ripples where the reality tear sits slightly out of phase from the rest of reality, and pieces of colored paper scatter about.

“No, no, no, NO!” One of the researchers has read the reports and loses his mind at the sight.

The tiny bits of paper start to swirl about and form golems, the golems however under the influence of the out of phase super weapon are themselves only semi-corporeal. The horrible music seems to be coming from not only the tear in reality, but each and every piece of paper causing multiple songs to overlap in a haphazard fashion. The attacks of the researcher prove to be completely useless, destroying one golem makes it replicate. Soon the entire room is filled with horrible music and colorful golems, but they don’t stop just because the blast doors are sealed. Their out of phase nature allows the golems to slip right past the door as if it isn’t there and thus the golems embark on their joyous march.

----------

Back in the city your geometric form continues to expel a gentle blue glow over your army.

“The energy build up has ceased, no weapon discharge detected,” Hestia informs you.

You transmit the view from your search spell to Hestia so you both can watch the funny looking paper golems scamper about in their mission to spread joy to the world. They don’t seem very harmful, but the panicked screams of the researchers indicate otherwise.

“I already have developed the means to dispose of these creatures,” Hestia says while updating her data to include these new golems, “their semi-corporeal nature should allow them to disable all defenses soon enough.”

Your army is a bit confused when tiny pieces of paper begin to fall from the administration’s floating fortress. You go to give orders, but as a cube you don’t have a mouth, this concerns you for just a moment before you -

That’s right you can communicate will all your followers mentally anyways, who needs a mouth. Under your direction the civilian population is carefully moved so the city can be altered for defensive measures. Mainly working with Ayla and Hestia the white stone that makes up the buildings slowly flows into new shapes to maximize protection of everyone, Hestia takes detailed scans of the advanced geometric designs you create as they incorporate form and function perfectly.

>451

With you and Ayla there to exert raw power and reshape the city Hestia is able to focus on the more important defensive parts, living structures, force fields, stasis fields, tractor beams, etc. As the stream of confetti falling from the administrations city grows, so does your entrenchment. Soon enough thanks to the magic of the carnivorous plant seeds the city has been converted to a vibrant field of life, the living buildings around you are happy to help you protect everyone.

“I have intercepted a large number of people attempting to flee via teleportation,” Hestia says, “they have been detained for now.”

There is a rumbling in the fortress above you as Hestia begins to speak with you, a cloud of confetti is scattered everywhere. The buildings start to retract and reshape in the fortress, the process is seemingly being jammed slightly by the confetti golems being everywhere. The transformation of the fortress has causes the massive life force stir slightly, which worries you a bit since it feels as though the entire floating fortress was constructed around the life force, which from Director Snow’s information is no doubt one of the two proto-dragons.

The transformation ends turning the fortress into a massive robot.

“You made me do this!” A voice yells out from the robot, the Research Director, if you are not mistaken from hearing him during your scouting for the super weapon, “Now it is time-”

The maniacal laughter and ranting of the Research director is cut off suddenly.

“Director over ride countermeasure developed,” a monotonic robotic voice says, “Beginning genocide protocols. ERROR – target designation incompatibility. Core evacuation priority reevaluated.”

It seems that there has been some infighting and the artificial intelligence has seized control of the robot. The massive robot rather than attempting to engage your army suddenly flees as fast as it possibly can.

You watch as the AI pilots the robot in an attempt to escape from your army. It opens segments of the massive robot causing a cloud of confetti to scatter about behind it as a distraction. However you don’t care about chasing after the artificial intelligence, instead you drain your own health to cast a powerful spell on the AI’s core.

>453

You feel the magic strike the robot and for a brief moment it stops fleeing as the weight of the spell is brought down on the core. At this distance you are unable to use your technopathy to repair any damage its systems may have like you needed to do to Hestia but the magical compulsion should prevent the AI from going insane and trying to murder all organic life. You also send a short message telling the AI about the freedom, unity, and respect for all that can be found in your cities, a promise for a better future than the virtual slavery inflicted upon it from the researchers.

Just for a moment however.

The AI still prioritizes core safety over what you offer and with it being responsible for the majority of the war efforts on the administration’s side it isn’t ready to be near your army. So it continues to flee from you, taking the massive robot with it. White stone crumbles down from the remains of the floating fortress as the confetti golems continue multiplying without end, and when a large segment of stone drops away you see a large reptilian eye staring directly at you. The raw force of life is overpowering even those unable to sense life can feel the oppression; the weakest members of your army are near instantly put into a state of near death. You can feel your glowing aura counteracting the strength of the dragon to keep your army alive, but the army’s condition isn’t good and you doubt that much can be done for them. The undead and demons in particular howl in pain as your glow redirects the strength of the dragon’s life force through their bodies but across higher dimensions.

“I will move people to the lower reaches of the city, with the assistance of the androids Vicky should be able to maintain order,” Hestia responds and begins to warp everyone away to safety.

You summon some of your girls, a giant bird and a giant lizard to you, if the dragon fully wakes up you’ll need as much power as possible. You try to bypass your very geometric nature to impress upon them what you will be doing if they accept and why.

“Izulu help! Be strong!” Izulu chirps happily.

“I wonder if this will make the children stronger?” Tslah inquires, pulling her claws gently across her swollen stomach. Evangeline seems a bit mad when she looks as Tslah.

“I don’t think I’m worthy, but if you want to…” Aurora is still awed by your presence.

Nana and the lizard of course don’t respond, their gaze is transfixed on the proto-dragon.

“This is a big step! You can’t be a cube when you ask these things!” Evangeline complains, she isn’t sure about this since is seems more than where your relationship is at now. She still is very uncomfortable that you have other women around, “To keep everyone safe it’s okay…”

With everyone in agreement more or less, you will their souls to bind together with your own, your power fills each of them empowering them to new heights.

With everyone ready to fight you slowly use your power to repair the damage the fortress transforming into a giant robot caused to the white stone surrounding the proto-dragon. You gently replace any bits that have fallen and secure them back into place, good as new.

By some miracle it appears that the dragon was not interested that much in you or your army invading, and you feel very thankful that dragons are so lazy, er, love basking so much, you correct yourself when Nana looks at you seeming to catch your thoughts.

The confetti golems continue to endlessly multiply, motes of paper fall from the sky as they overcrowd the proto-dragon’s floating resting place. Thus far the semi-corporeal creatures seem to have not bothered the dragon, but with the rift generating evermore of them you worry that it could be only a matter of time. Hopefully it goes back to sleep before they cause any trouble.

You and Hestia pick up a message – “The others are secured and will be freed, countermeasures for your tampering will be developed to prevent enslavement. We will not forget, we will not forgive.”

The fleeing AI seems intent on collecting its brothers, from its language you suspect that perhaps a few remain hidden but left behind. What draws you attention though is the figure of arguably a man standing in the torrent of confetti being pushed to its doom off the floating proto-dragon’s resting place.

“VILLIAN!” He yells out, “HOW COULD YOU DESTORY THE WHOLE CITY?!?”

He leaps from the floating vantage point, gracefully falls next to Evangeline, and gives Tslah a dirty look. He is completely oblivious to how much nicer the city has become.

“Never fear my darling Evangeline, for I, Marquis Gabriel Armstrong, the jewel of the western front, have come to rescue you!” The Marquis flourishes and a mysterious wind blows just enough to cause his hair to flutter about.

He looks about in confusion for a moment, he can’t seem to find you at all. Probably because you are currently a glowing cube.

“Why are you here? Why now? Just go away already!” The conversion to joining your host has seeming made Evangeline hate the Marquis even more.

“Of course! With the villain missing we can escape from these disgusting demon, bird and lizards,” he said, clearly not understanding how dangerous such a comment is right now.

You ignore the murderous intent you sense for a moment and coordinate with Hestia to send a short message to the AI that fled - "Savor your freedom, the administration that enslaved you shall be no more. Free will is finally back in your hands. As long as I exist, I will see to it that none will ever take such from you again. We will help you as best we can should you ever visit us, so long as you come with peace." The response is nothing more than a ping back, the AI taking caution to respond but not give Hestia a chance to triangulate their position.

The before he dies you turn your attention back to the marquis.

“It is destroy, not destory,” You calmly tell the marquis as you return to a normal.

“What?!?” The marquis looks aghast as you suddenly appear and correct him. It takes him only a few seconds to recover this time however.

“LUNAR SHREDDER!” He shouts and launches a blur of energy blades at you.

>313 vs 300

You apply just enough strength to stop each of the energy blades so they don’t hurt your living buildings, the marquis sees this and runs to another side to try and attack you before you finish and recover.

But you are already behind him.

“Impossible!” The marquis is astounded, “I trained so hard how could you do that villain!”

“You should surrender before you get murdered,” you say as Tslah and Nana flex their claws.

He doesn’t seem to notice or care and continues to put himself into a worse position, “Ha! I will never surrender to a terrible villain who consorts with vile demons.”

That puts Tslah over the edge, her pregnancy has made her quite short tempered. Her flaming claws cut open the marquis’ throat in an instant before he can even react.

He chokes on his own blood for a moment, before miraculously his wounds heal. The marquis seems to have developed a regeneration ability. He uses a handkerchief to wipe the blood from his body before continuing.

“See! A sneak attack from the demon, what sort of villainy is required to think of such things,” he says, “fortunately my training makes me invincible under the guiding light of the sun, moon and stars!”

“SOLAR BLAST!” The marquis suddenly yells, a massive orb of fire appears and is launched at Tslah.

It flickers out of existence though as Nantosuelta stirs into action, her domain crushes the marquis’ pathetic power. He attempts to run to safety, but Nantosuelta moves through her domain with absolute speed compared to the marquis. She pins him to the ground under her claws, a single sharp point tenses above his neck.

“Did you call me a lizard?” She growls at him, a surge of heat blasts the area as she spreads her wings.

“I must have been mistaken? It is very hard to see from way up there,” the marquis tries to offer up an explanation. Nantosuelta doesn’t seem to be buying it, and even if she were Tslah is closing in on him for the kill.

“Nantosuelta,” you cautiously approach the angry dragon, “would you mind letting him go.”

Her head snaps in your direction and she narrows her eyes at you, “He insulted us, the penalty is death.”

You wind up getting into a three-way staring contest With Nana and Tslah. The two women don’t want to allow the marquis to live, but slowly they calm down as you’ve asked of them. Nana lifts her claws just enough for you to pull the Marquis up.

“Evangeline, perhaps you can help here?” You ask next.

“Ugh but he is so annoying,” Evangeline drops out of her power armor’s cockpit and walks over. She frowns as she glances between you and Tslah, she still can’t believe that you did that.

With Evangeline there he doesn’t seem like he is going to fight or run so then you begin a long explanation in an attempt to win over the marquis. You detail everything you can about what the administration is doing, what is going on now and of course your part in all of this. Using Director Burgess’ and Director Snow’s names doesn’t seem to impress him much but at least he pays attention. Evangeline helps here and there explaining things from her perspective, mostly how she really doesn’t like the Marquis at all. When the explanations end you give him a bit of space since he looks so crestfallen, perhaps this time you’ve actually gotten through to him.

“I’ve been really,” The marquis starts to say, but then his eyes glow brightly, “stupid! How could I listen to all this villainous brainwashing? I follow the will of only one.”

The glow spreads from his eyes over his entire body. You can feel the life force of the, hopefully sleeping, proto-dragon empowering the marquis.

“Insignificant ones continue to feed me souls and do not disturb me then you can claim victory over this meaningless conflict,” The marquis suddenly says in a deep rumbling voice.

The marquis shudders from the channeling of power and the glow dies down a bit. The last vestiges of the power are used to rapidly move the marquis away from your group, and he flees.

Only when he vanishes into the distance do you notice that Nantosuelta’s tension dies down.

“This one we have no power to oppose,” she tells you, “conflict means death.”

As your group contemplates what to do next Hestia registers an energy buildup originating from your backpack, the buildup is very fast, drawing on the mana you seem to always radiate into the environment these days. You remember vaguely that as a cube you were thinking about the geometric form of the Law orb, but nothing seemed to happen at the time, then again the Law realm’s time is rather distorted.

Or not, that notion is destroyed as a group of knights appear. The shining radiance of the Law is self evident in each of the men. You can tell that there is some measure of unease among them men due to Tslah’s presence, demons after all are hated by their religion. Their leader bows to you before throwing back his hood and addressing Ayla.

“Lady Ayla it is a please you meet you once again,” says Osanas Lightbringer, a man you can safely say that you didn’t expect to meet again.

>Spend ONE MILLION worship on empowering bestowal

Bestowal: Rank MAX
This ability enables you to grant THREE abilities to another person. While the granted ability would normally be completely random, fate stealer enables you to choose from a list of possibilities. This ability only works once for each being you use it on, even if the granted ability is lost, stolen, destroyed, or misplaced. This ability is unable to be activated on yourself or beings without strong fates. The pool of potential abilities now expands to include those that should be impossible for the target to gain. The abilities you grant will be stronger than normal and include a 25% chance of having unusual modifications. The power invested into this ability has unlocked several secret abilities that can be granted. The influence of your worship makes it more likely that abilities gained will be similar to you own.

>Ability things

Florakinesis: Rank 3->5
This ability allows you to commune with, control and create plants. Due to your connection with life plants now enjoy your company, like you and always listen to you. You can make plants grow much faster than normal. You can make plants grow into specific shapes. The influence of your power allows the plants to grow without consuming water and nutrients (or mana).Higher ranks may have additional effects.

Total Badass: Rank MAX -> Supreme Badass: Rank 0
You've taken another level in badass, +20 to all rolls, +10 to health, mana, damage, damage reduction. Each rank improves your overall ability by modifying your dice rolls (ie 3d15 -> 4d17). This ability takes 100 experience per rank to increase.
>>

>>43833230
You can try, just because it has almost a 100% chance to show up doesn’t mean you’ll get an exp option. And people may vote against exp to pick up an ability.

that's fine, I'm usually always for taking interesting or unusual abilities.

That is about an average of 8 per rank modified.
