“King strong!” The goblin paladin Xamr says as you continue to spar with him. Hours have passed since Hestia locked herself and Director Snow into a bubble of highly accelerated time. From their perspective it must have been four months by now. You can see the swelling of pregnancy now on Hestia’s organic body. From what you can sense Director Snow has been quite forthcoming with Hestia and is telling her everything she wants to know. Hestia immediately reprograms the androids and robots to protect from the coming invasion from the administration.

You learn that the shadow infiltrators were a special unit created from the cooperation of the research and internal divisions. The success rate and compatibility of the process meant that only the two sent to spy on you could be created, at least that was what was reported. The flesh creature the goblins encounter in the city that was hunting down Evangeline Director Snow doesn’t know about, but since Evangeline is Director Burgess’ daughter such encounters should have occurred more often. Hestia is not happy that there were any infiltrations and you can feel her adjusting the city’s traps and sensors, making them even more powerful.

Hestia is determined to extract the most important information, so you also learn what Snow meant by proto-dragon. They claim to be the first life forms and recovered records indicate that dragons do in fact seem to have always existed, the proto-dragons are the oldest of their kind, with their extreme age their power is seemingly without measure, even deities take caution around them. Director Snow knew of exactly two, the current leader of the administration and what you refer to as the void prisoner. The third one that suddenly appeared, which is apparently you in cosmic dragon form, has thrown the administration into chaos during its brief appearance.

(1/5)
>>
The fact that the void could be felt for a brief moment was the biggest problem for the administration, since the black stone prison was created specifically to seal the power of one of the proto-dragons. Director Snow seems happy that you’ve broken a hole into the void and that it is open enough for void conduits to form. She even goes on to suggest evacuating everyone and tearing it open more, she is adamant that the resulting apocalypse from the dragons fighting will be better than the ongoing treatment of the souls. The administration’s practice regarding souls is very much opposed by Director Snow, the reason she works in personnel is to circumvent the administration and reincarnate as many people as possible in the way that was done when the Indians were in control. Hestia tries to skirt around learning much about Director Snow since that information is irrelevant right now.

Unsurprisingly if you were taken in by the Hell Gate you would have gone to hell, this phenomenon is apparently very rare; there have been times when it doesn’t appear even for astoundingly evil people, you do learn that the man you encountered that time is named Taro Oishi. His location has been unknown since the research ring incident, but since no attempt to locate him has been made he is either dead or he is being kept somewhere. As for the internals, they are just heavily modified humans specialized in infiltration with the process to make them giving a predisposition to unusual psionic abilities.

While you are left out of the time dilation field and so excluded from Hestia’s interrogation of Director Snow, you come to know all this when Hestia shares her reports with you.

Completed Research

>Optimized worship methods – As Hestia explored your ability to gain immaterial power from your followers she was contacted by Aurora. Aurora told Hestia to change nearly everything without any explanation other than ‘it feels better this way’. Aurora has set the shaman’s up to be spiritual leaders for the population, and as taken it upon herself to guide worship of you and convert others. With Aurora’s interference you can now feel the stream of energy from your followers being solidified and more directed. The previous gentle nagging feeling that your followers wanted something has intensified and despite mostly ignoring it before now you can feel everything your followers are attributing to you. Overall this process has generate an additional 530,089 worship for you.

>Invitation magic – By combining her understanding of the hell invitations, the faerie tale books, and hyperspatial teleportation Hestia was able to create an improved version of the enchantments. For vastly less computation time and slightly more mana Hestia can create warp scrolls to any locations she knows of. This transfer must be done willingly; further study may enable lifting of this restriction.

>Boon – An inverse enchantment of bane, this grants a general increase in ability for a specific species allowing Hestia to custom tailor equipment for your growing armies, where the slight edge offered makes the largest possible impact.

>Spell weapons – Based on the lightning sword, Hestia has cataloged the effect and method of creating weaponry made from spells. Power word Annihilate is unable to be shaped into a weapon in this fashion as it destroys itself and everything nearby when the process is attempted. Hestia’s favorite spell to use to craft weapons is Discord, the unknown effects of the spell creates a never ending stream of novel data. She has created a sword for you, but warns it may be unwise to use near allies, new weapon acquired – Blade of Discord: (random effect generated when used, wielder protected from generated effects, ghost touch).

Ongoing research

Improved nazi enchantment
Magical empowerment locations
Twin study

Ongoing special projects

>Djinnistan modernization – At Ayla’s request Hestia is assisting in improving Djinnistan’s infrastructure. The three major cities under Ayla’s control will be upgraded fairly quickly, beyond that Hestia has no estimate as to how long this project will take. The speed of technological development is astonishing to the djinn who have always just used magic for everything, this disruption in the social order is increasing the acceptance of Ayla’s reforms in general. The scope of this project is delaying your research speed.

Important notes

>Administration activity – Despite the chaos inflicted by the confetti golems eventually a method of removing the golems was created and the administration troops are beginning their attack.

>Visitor – Director Burgess has once again dropped down into the pit to visit, while it appears that he came to see you he is currently with Evangeline.

When Hestia ends her interrogation you know that she now has complete detailed information on even the minutest operations of the administration, the months long it took to satisfy Hestia’s voracious appetite for information has left Director Snow looking haggard. She catches your eye for a moment before turning away.

Hestia’s interrogation seems to be a bit much for Snow, months without sleep and constant questions has her looking in worse shape than your zombie dinosaurs.

“If you truly want to save everyone then worship me,” you tell Director Snow, “even a little bit more power could make the difference.”

“That is impossible,” Director Snow flatly tells you, “if you have truly started becoming deific then it’s impossible. Ascendant beings are unable to worship, I have tried before to enlist such aid.”

“I will begin operations above,” Hestia informs you, “if you do not mind, I would like to study this place in more depth.”

“I have not made much, but if you think it will help then go ahead,” you say and a pair of drones teleport in. The drones float about the vast empty nothingness scanning and dutifully recording nothing.

You do need to decide what to do with Director Snow, she doesn’t seem willing to fight you – pulling her into your realm seems to have had a profound effect on her. There is a faint whisper in the back of your head, encouraging you to kill her, to get revenge. Could it be Iblis, or since you know of him are you just being paranoid? If it were Iblis what could he possibly have to gain?

First off, let's test the effectiveness of using worship to improve ourselves.

50,000 worship into improving strength, and 50,000 into improving Deific Blast.

After that,

>Visit Evangeline
>>
>>43808046
I think we should see if we can use worship to make the goblin city itself worship us. It's alive and somewhat sapient, iirc.
>>
>>43807792
>>Go see what Director Burgess wants
>tell her she's going to tell us every thing she knows about our father

You know Evangeline is with Director Burgess right?

Right go see Director Burgess.

>>43808046
Effectiveness may change if you want something permanent vs temporary.
>>
>>43808066

I am certainly down with creative uses of worship like that, but I really think we should see the effectiveness of worship on ourselves. Especially our stats. We haven't used experience on stats basically since we reached 100 intelligence. If we can substitute worship there, we may have a way to quickly reach our new caps.
>>
>>43808104

I was referring to permanent. I just want Reginald to know how effective worship for permanent improvements is. That way we can know if we want to invest more later.
>>
>>43808104
>Let Hestia look after her
>Create a place for her in your realm
Hestia can watch her with drones, after all.
>>
>>43808104
>>Take Director Snow with you

i know this can go all sorts of wrong but it just has such great potential to be hilarious
>>
>>43808104
>Take Director Snow with you
or
>Create a place for her in your realm
Either works really
>>
>>43808104

>Create a place for her in your realm.
>>
As you consider what to do with Director Snow you let the power of the worship you’ve gathered crystallize into improving yourself. With your connection with life you can feel as mostly the adoration the goblins and succubi have for you enters your musculature and starts to strengthen it. Hestia’s drones even stop scanning your realm to focus attention on you for a moment. You focus right now is just raw power; you want the strength to at least stop Nantosuelta from taking charge all the time. That isn’t all though, you also try to strengthen what seems to be your strongest attack since if you are fighting super powerful dragons you are going to need more power. It’s a bit tricky since you are trying to make the ability stronger not use it. Eventually you think that it works, but are unsure if anything really happened.

>Lost 100,000 worship. New total: 713736
>Gained 481 Strength
>Deific blast: Rank 4->8 Max rank 10 -> 20 You can now target any being you know of, so long as they are on the same plane as you.

The power of your worship settles down and leaves you feeling much stronger and Hestia returns to investigating the secrets of the empty space of your realm.

Director Snow on the other hand is looking very surprised and worried.

(1/2)
>>
“Hestia, Xamr, please keep an eye on Director Snow, she will be staying here for now,” you decide.

“Yes King!” the goblin shouts.

“I must advise against this course of action,” Hestia says, “this place is an extension of you, why would you let her stay here?”

“Do you have a better idea?”

“Anywhere but here, this place is special.”

You get a brief impression of you and Hestia with children staying here forever together before it is scrubbed away by stream of data and calculations.

“I think this is why Evangeline complains about mind reading,” Hestia says.

“That’s right, Evangeline is with you, if you hurt her…” Director Snow says with her voice cold, until she remembers that she can’t really do anything. She sighs in resignation.

Without further complaints you expand the floating landmass with Xamr’s barracks and a small house comes into being, all the amenities should work because you will them to. You consider how odd your realm will look if you keep adding piecewise to it like this, perhaps if would be better to generate an entire landscape to fill the empty white space all at once.

“There, you can stay here for now,” you tell Director Snow as you will open a path back to the goblin city.

As the rift between planes closes behind you look around and see that you’ve managed to come back right near Evangeline’s fountain. When asked Hestia directs you back to your house, Evangeline is currently training with her father inside the best training room there is, it just happens to be in your house.

What you see when you enter is astonishing.

Director Burgess is actually being pressured by Evangeline. She can’t compete with speed, power or skill but for some reason she knows exactly what her father is going to do. She seems incredibly happy right now, the power you and Hestia have granted her is putting her on a level high enough to get this far.

>Evangeline happiness + 20

When Director Burgess notices that you are watching he ends the fight, despite her precognition Evangeline can’t compete with her father when he puts all his effort into the fight. There is a lot of complaining when Evangeline gets teased about ‘her boyfriend’ and you see her frown when she looks at you.

>Evangeline happiness -15

She is still mad, very mad in fact, that you suddenly left for days without a word. You feel that she’s feeling better now that she knows how strong she’s gotten.

“You got yourself a kill order out on you,” Director Burgess tells you, “I think it’s time to settle things.”

“Wait, at least say hello first?” Evangeline tries to stop him.

“Men speak with their fists!” He declares and cracks his knuckles.

“You gave me the first strike last time, so you can take it this time,” you tell Director Burgess.

“You got some balls now?” He taunts you before accepting the gesture.

He moves as if he is teleporting, after images flash through the air as he encircles and closes in on you. You however can feel his exact location at all time through his life and the displacement of the air around you.

Then you feel his fists connect with the base of your skull all around your spine, pain shoots through your head as a single drop of blood drips out of your nose.

Director Burgess’ fists glow with weak deific power, and he seems genuinely surprised that you’re still standing. Not as surprised as when you begin the fight in earnest.

>308 vs dc 300

You drop your strength to a level manageable for Director Burgess, each strike you make he seems to be able to use his vast experience to block, avoid or counter. His attacks hurt, but not enough to do any serious damage and while you could use your full strength to finish the fight instead you have fun fighting.

The pair of you trade blows as Evangeline watches on with a sad smile. She seems happy that the two of you are getting along, but she is worried that the kill order will mean that someone is going to die here today.

At some point your tireless and nigh invincible body has put enough pressure on Director Burgess that he starts to use some abilities you’ve never seen before, enhancements for strength, speed, and numerous other physical attributes are all stacked to push his ability to the limit. You feel that the limitations of your skill are slowly being erased as you try to counter all of Director Burgess’ attacks. Even if he is unable to hurt you much, the pain from the bursts of deific energy is still intense.

(1/3)
>>
“One last punch to finish things,” Director Burgess says once the battle’s flow gets back to a stalemate.

The deific power in his fists multiplies by several times as he pumps all her remaining magical power into this next attack. And you know what you have to do.

You meet the attack head on.

While delivering your own punch at full strength.

There is a crack and a scream as your punches simultaneously collide with each other’s faces.

Evangeline comes running up to you two crying, she knew this was going to happen.

Director Burgess’ neck snapped from the force of your blow.

He collapses to the ground, just barely alive.

“Looks like you pass,” he groans as his regeneration is unable to overcome the severity of the inflicted damage.

Evangeline cries and babbles incoherently as she watches Director Burgess about to die, or so she thinks for a brief moment.

As soon as you hit him you’ve been monitoring Director Burgess’ health and keeping him safely from the edge of death, you were just waiting for him to not want to continue the fight. Bones crack as your healing snaps them back into place, you have to be careful to not heal scars since they may be points of pride for him but in no time at all he is back to top condition.

“Evangeline mentioned this before,” Director Burgess says not even concerned, he jumps up to his feet and flexes a bit, “Damn what did you do, cure old age too?”

“You-you,” Evangeline stutters for a moment, in her panic she forgot that you could heal people, “YOU IDIOTS!”

>>43810012
>He reads the ask
>>
(3/3)

It takes her awhile to calm down after that outburst.

“So what is this about a kill order?” You ask when things clear up.

“Dumbasses can’t be bothered to read reports so they think that we have to capacity to kill you, but it’s clear now that that won’t be happening,” Director Burgess says, “but more importantly it is that Evangeline will be safe here.”

“I can protect myself!” Evangeline says, she’s a little upset that the psychic power still isn’t good enough.

“So you’ve got my blessing, it would be better if Snow were here too, because I’m a bit wary with all these succubi around,” Director Burgess continues while ignoring Evangeline’s protests, “She just up and vanished a few hours ago though, someone said she was talking to herself about the time being wrong.”

“There are thousands of them! They all converted to worship him after…”Evangeline turns red and can’t continue this line of conversation.

“About that, a few hours ago, no it’s probably easier to show you,” you say.

The Burgess father and daughter pair are confused as to what you mean as you focus your power to open a portal to your realm once more. You try to open the portal near Snow and it seems that it responds to your will as the portal opens to in inside of the house you made. Director Snow turns and looks your way.

“SNOW!” Evangeline shouts out and runs recklessly through the portal to hug Director Snow. Director Snow sort of freezes and lets Evangeline hug her, as if she doesn’t know how to respond.

“Wait where is this?” Evangeline asks you, “How do you know her?”

“Damn it I should have guessed you would have been involved,” Director Burgess says, clasping his hand on your shoulder, “this doesn’t seem like magic, undetectable huh?”

“Is this a part of your plan?” Director Burgess asks Snow.

“No, at this point everything has failed,” Director Snow replies.

“What plan?” Evangeline asks.

“Revolution,” Hestia’s drone says.

“What? Hestia you are a part of it?” Evangeline is confused.

“No, but it seems that our current path will develop naturally to that end anyways,” Hestia states.

The fatigue of the intense questioning seems to fade away from Director Snow as she listens to Evangeline chatter about everything that has happened since they last met. A few parts of the story gets you glares and/or smiles from the women. Director Burgess looks like he is about to kill himself, his eyes are accusing you for letting this happen he doesn’t want to deal with gossip and talking for hours.

“I’m heading back, I have shit to do and an army to coordinate enough so you don’t kill them all,” Director Burgess says, “don’t worry about the internals though not much human left in them.”

Then rather unceremoniously Director Burgess leaves you alone with Evangeline and Snow.

(1/2)
>>
(2/2)

“That is just his way of saying he is going to help,” Director Snow says.

“But why are you here?” Evangeline asks, she is worried that you are going to try to pick up Director Snow next. Evangeline doesn’t think that she has a chance if that happens because she thinks that Director Snow is amazing.

“You will have to ask your, boyfriend, as your father says.”

Evangeline blushes at Director Snow’s comment and turns to you for an explanation. You have to waste some time explaining the mishap with the sword and how you accidently pulled Director Snow across the planes instead of just solidifying the communication spell. Snow comments here and there to clarify what she thought was happening due to the sword’s connection with her. In the end Evangeline is happy that she could meet up with Director Snow and explore your realm.

“Well it’s still not fair that Snow got to come here first,” Evangeline says.

“Tribe first!” Xamr shouts out, “yous tribe too so yous first!”

Evangeline considers this but thinks that it isn’t quite the same.

“I should go help Hestia deal with the invasion,” you say.

“I apologize for what I said before,” Director Snow says reluctantly, “it seems that Evangeline is happy here, the reports said she was captured and held prisoner.”

“He did kidnap me!” Evangeline says, “but then I guess…”

Evangeline thinks about her time here in the goblin city, it has been an intense time.

“Wait, um, is it okay if I go too?” Evangeline asks, “Also if it’s alight would you let me visit from time to time?”
Allow Evangeline to visit Director Snow?

I don't think it's worth ~350000 worship for an ability we are likely to use only here. I could support 50000 for a temporary buff.

Don't forget that our deific abilities get stronger by hoarding Worship. We have to hold on to that and not go on a crazy spending spree.

>>

>Yes

>>
>>43812571

The point being that this is the only time we are really going to put the ability through its paces, and temporary buffs are more effective per worship point.
>>
>>43812741
Well, you're wrong.
Ascendant leadership passes buffs onto both our armies and our girls.
And hestia is really, really good to buff.
Besides, we have void conduits to deal with next. And other afterlives. And probably something we have yet to see.
>>
>>43812439
I have an itch that tells me we should summon giant confetti golems to fight with us! And some giant paper clip golems, too! Heck a whole bunch of office supply golems! Paper clips, staplers, pencils, maybe even some copy machine tanks!
>>
>>43812801

How about the point that the ability is already at rank 8, and grants allies bonuses to their rolls more than half the bonus we get for most of our own rolls? It's a waste to permanently buff it, because it is already more than sufficient. We take care of the vast majority of our enemies without ever having to worry about what our armies are doing.

It is literally only in this sort of scenario, where a concerted army is attacking our city, when Ascendant Leadership can be considered to be very useful.
>>
Cast maxmana all but one hp with a pool of bolstered blood to sublimate for extra effectiveness, spells to bolster the shit out of our armies for the next fight.
>>
>>43813052
Still wrong. It's always useful.
>>
>>43812999
>tfw the little paper golems are apparently endgame tier apocalyptic foes for the administration
>>
>>43813088

Our allies hardly ever have to fight anything. Only those with character sheets ever come with us on our fun adventures, and their stats are high enough that they don't even need the bonus. And again, rank 8 is already sufficient. +120 to rolls is enough, we don't need to use worship on it.
>>
>>43813295
Wrong.
Our entire force does a lot when we aren't there. For evidence, see goblin halloween.
>>
>>43813336

Which they handily solved with rank 5 Ascendant Leadership. Which provides less than half the bonus we have now.

They don't need the bonus.

“Yes that is fine,” you tell Evangeline, “Now let us go win this war.”

Recalling your use of worship to empower yourself before you do it again, focusing on bolstering your abilities and the will to use them as much as possible.

>300000 worship lost. New total 413736.

>Willpower increases by 960

>Deific Doman: Rank 7 ->Max Your realm becomes nearly impenetrable to unwanted beings and/or their influence, and you can eject anything inside your realm at anytime. Your domain has significantly expanded and grown in power. Normally impossible things created in your realm or domain now are stable enough to exist without the influence of the domain’s or realm’s influence.

>Ascendant leadership: Rank 5->17 (Max rank 30) Follower bonus increased to +30. Overshadowing worshipers no longer has a chance to burn them out. You can now overshadow followers. When you personally lead followers in battle they gain 1% of your stats as health and mana.

>100 oh dear

You never really considered active communication with your followers much before but since you are about to go to war it is time to put out the call to arms. Your will reaches across the planes to the circles of hell under your control. Everyone everywhere heads your call. The demons of hell work with the ghaele and mobilize under the command of Tslah and Soza. The undead armies groan and rattle their bones as the Lich and knight commander put aside their differences. The shamans organize the goblins and you have one last idea.

You lock your mind onto Aurora and Hestia and then act as a conduit for Hestia to channel the information received from both Hestia’s scans and Director Snow. With you acting as a buffer Aurora’s mind is able to filter through the information several times faster than Hestia can calculate and a plan is developed. The strain knocks Aurora out of condition to fight, but she is supported by the shamans to still help lead and direct your troops.

>28, 92, 5, 88, 13,

The next few hours are a blur as Hestia teleports wave after wave of your army up into the city above. Due to the information collected and the plan Aurora has intuitively created your armies crush the administration without any casualties. You note that personnel from Director Burgess’ and Director Snow’s control are conspicuously absent as your armies take higher floors. With you acting as a figurehead for the army and Aurora’s guidance from behind the internals’ psychic domination is nullified, occasionally you see entire swaths of tentacled faceless humans being vaporized by blasts of laser or lightning.

When the administration tries to counterattack several floors into your conquest, their magical forces are routed before you even get to them. Confetti golems managed to sneak into their supplies and endlessly multiply. The administration mages breakdown and are totally unable to resist from the trauma of past experiences with the golems.

The last stand seems to come from ragtag bands of unusual looking creatures. The so called ‘External’ Division. Creatures similar to the internals you are familiar with already apparently psychically dominate exo-planar creatures to use in ‘unofficial’ missions. Unfortunately for them, their skill and power gained while traveling the planes is no match for the might of your army. Zombies and skeletons work as meat shields, their bodies break but before they can be killed the goblins unleash blasts of elemental power, magic and graviton beams.

As your army marches higher and higher the surrounding city shifts from old rundown buildings to fantastic pure white stone that radiates with holy energy, a counterpart to the curse-like black stone of the pit.

(2/3)
>>
(3/3)

The richest humans who can afford to live in the highest reaches of the city above watch aghast as your terrible army seizes control of everything. Hestia’s robots spend most of their time coordinating your strange forces in accordance to the administration’s plan. At this point the goblins are returning to their normal size so that they can assist Hestia’s robots in watching over the population that has suddenly found itself under occupation.

“Wait, it should be here,” Aurora warns.

“I agree the weapon that was used on the ghaele is strangely missing,” Hestia informs you through a nearby drone.

“I think something is going to happen, there is something in the sky above” Evangeline reports in over the comms. Evangeline is mad at you now, again something about claws and necks. No doubt triggered by Tslahs’ appearance, she is around six month pregnant – something to do with the blood you created for her.

Hestia spreads drones out over the city, searching for the administration’s weapon. There is no sign of it however despite Evangeline’s feeling.

Floating over the middle of the pit is the final holdings of the administration, a gleaming city of white stone and technological components; you can see from the high walls and massive arrays of shields that this fortress city is holding the key to the administration. There is also an intense feeling of life coming from the city, far greater than Nantosuelta’s.

You squint into the distance and try to see if there is anything in the sky above. You don’t see anything however, and a glace over to Nana shows you that she is not in a rush to fly up and check, she is fighting more with her biological urge to protect her eggs than with the administration.

Use a spell that seeks out the weapon, based on what we know about it. Use 30000 health, and 50000 mana.

I ran out of space, but you have gained 581 soul charges. Due to the effectiveness of Aurora’s intuitive plan the casualties on your side is none. Casualties on the enemies’ side were also vastly reduced as much of their people have been captured alive. Thus you now have 150 million captives, and not counting robots approximately half the total capacity of their forces has been eliminated. The other half is likely to be Director Burgess’ and Director Snow’s forces who have withdrawn.

Scout for the weapon sure thing, or you could try to magic up something as per >>43814357

“Hestia, how long would it take to evacuate?” you ask a bit worried about the absence of the super weapon.

“I could evacuate all our forces here before their weapon could strike,” Hestia says with some pride.

“And our city?”

“I doubt that they would risk attacking for fear of breaking the seal and opening the way to the void,” Hestia starts calculating something, “I could save everyone but the destruction of infrastructure is the main concern.”

“That’s fine, we can rebuild from hell if it came down to it as long as everyone makes it out safely.”

With emergency plans created you commit to finding the weapon.

>144

With your eyes and expanded senses you find nothing, not even the slightest disturbance in the air far away. You consider sending scouting forces into the air so Hestia could expand sensor range. Magic is the answer here however, so you use your own life force and most of your mana to generate a surge of magical energy dedicated to locating the weapon. Magical and technological concealments are no match for the magical might you bring to the search and you sense the weapon being hidden within a powerful domain while being out of phase. The weapon is also ready to fire on your position, and from the surroundings you see that some sort of machinery is in place to bring the energy discharge into phase and teleport it far above you.

When the weapon fires your spell is able to withstand the force and you can see that the weapon has been vastly improved so its firing time has been reduced to enable it to fire much more rapidly. As the energy discharge teleports into the sky above, Hestia notes that the discharge is targeting your army and it is much stronger than previously recorded. Once again the administration is willing to sacrifice the population in the city you’ve taken control of.

You shift the focus of your domain away from supporting your troops, you prepare your domain to protect from the force of the blast, to redirect it away from the city is possible. The discharged energy is vast and you are not entirely sure you can catch it all with only your domain so you need to do more.

“Hestia can you ensure that no one can see me, I need to use more power to stop this,” you say.

“We can evacuate, losing your mind for days is not required,” Hestia starts to argue, but as she feels your power increasing she changes her mind and starts using her robots to move everyone to safety. Despite her protests even Ayla takes cover as you assume the full power of your deific form. This time however the dragon is not much help, so you focus on absolute protection, to defend against any attack.

>313

As before when you take on the form of the dragon you feel your mind shift along with your body. Your flesh gives way to pure energy and you begin to swell as you float up to meet the energy attack head on. Brilliant light floods the area as your power continues to grow, as you become an unstoppable force. A lone woman is all that dares to stand before the majesty of your power. The deific radiance seems to fill her but not harm her, she seems to fully accept the nature of your existence without reservation.

“Wait what are you doing?” Aurora asks, “How can we be safe if we can’t see you?”

She is of course right even with the strength to stop anything if your presence kills those you protect then you have truly protected nothing. The power of her prayer for protection reaches your mind despite its changing nature. Your deific form continues to alter, influenced by what is now home, safety. Your blinding light is replaced by a gentle blue glow and your shape settles on a large, yet infinitely compressed tesseract.

As the energy attack falls onto the city, its force is nullified by your glow. The energy simply ceases to exist. You seem to know now that within the domain of your aura nothing harmful can happen, from massive scale down to microscopic your protection is absolute. However you feel that in doing so your new form is unable to attack in anyway either.

>New deific form created – Cube of Protection. You can now become a hyper dimensional cube with a gentle blue glow. Within this glow nothing harmful can happen, as a side effect this deific form causes no harm to mortals. While using this form your domain is unable to be used. Anything protected by you while in this form may experience uncomfortable reactions as your geometric nature can cause the use of incompatible geometries to enact the protection.

Your scouting spell still lingers and you can watch as the administration’s super weapon is fired time and time again. Yet every time the attack reaches your glow it is negated one way or another. Shifting through hyperspace until it dissipates, being redirected into itself to negate the energy’s waveform, scattering harmlessly into higher or lower dimensions, and so much more. The pattern continues until the super weapon exceeds operational tolerance and critical components are destroyed from overheating.

Led back to your side by Aurora the troops are amazed by your new look, Hestia seems particularly interested in what she sees.

As your people gather, an army of robots teleports to face you, their weapons are of course rendered completely useless within your glow. Even antimatter bombs explosions are reduced to a gentle breeze.

A heavily modified adaptive robot is then teleported in next.

“Unknown entity detected, beginning countermeasure development,” a monotone robotic voice says over the robot’s speakers.

(2/3)
>>
With a surprisingly slow speed, something uses a vast amount of power to attempt to forcibly teleport you away. The energies of the teleport are not harmful so they pass through your protection field without issue, but Hestia doesn’t just watch, she teleports in jamming equipment faster than the hostile teleport can resolve to keep you here. Yes, that is more like the speed of teleportation you’ve grown accustomed to.

“Not so fast, he is mine,” Hestia’s states.

“Master look! I am a cube too!~” Ayla morphs into a replica of your shape, she can’t make the same protection field but she does play around with light to glow different colors.

“Interference from artificial intelligence detected, beginning countermeasure development,” the adaptive robot calmly states.

>Abilities gained

Bestowal: Rank MAX
This ability enables you to grant TWO abilities to another person. While the granted ability would normally be completely random, fate stealer enables you to choose from a small list of possibilities. This ability only works once for each being you use it on, even if the granted ability is lost, stolen, destroyed, or misplaced. This ability is unable to be activated on yourself or beings without strong fates.

Creation: Rank MAX
This ability allows for the creation of material objects from mana.

Banishment: Rank MAX
This ability allows you to cast a target into the abyss, even powerful beings have difficulty resisting this effect. Your skill in this ability enables it to affect multiple targets at once. If desired you can banish yourself even. This ability is absolute within your domain, and is extraordinarily hard to resist within your domain. Your deific power enables you to banish to planes other than the abyss if you know the target plane well enough. Potential alternate targets known: Djinnistan, Ice world, Hell 1-3,

Celerity: Rank MAX
This ability allows you to control your own speed, enabling you at act as though hasted at all times. Your maximum movement speed is increased by TWO times your ranks in this ability. Your skill in this ability enables you to accelerate others without harming them. Your high speed movement can be focused to move with enough speed to leave behind after images.
>>
Technopathy: Rank MAX
This ability grants you the power to remotely connect with technological devices and it also allows for the reprogramming and manipulation of the functions of such devices with pure will alone. You can also manipulate technological components to remotely construct new things or to alter their form. It is possible to use this ability to create things that are normally impossible to create due to physical limitations.

Chaos Creation: Rank MAX
This ability enables you to create objects from nothing. Objects created require no prior knowledge of their existence, and may even be things that shouldn’t be possible to exist. Objects created in this way may not always be what is expected. If you fuel this ability with mana it becomes stable enough to create exactly what you desire, but you can only create items that can normally exist.
