You are the head researcher at a government facility. Your sole responsibility is to teach the world's first autonomous AI, nicknamed Pandora, about life, the world and her existence.
Previously you finished up your quality time with Pandora. The next morning you awoke to find her wake-up software had malfunctioned, preventing her from exiting sleep mode. You and your research team tackled the problem together and found that the leftover bits of the other AI were a little more tenacious than previously assumed. You beefed up her system cleaning program in hopes that will prevent future issues. Afterward, you and Pandora took a trip to R&D and got her into her new, more durable body. She loved it.
Welcome to Pandora Quest!

It begins! I hope you're doing alright OP.
>>
You step back to get a better view of Pandora's new body as she does the same, turning and twisting every which way she can to get a better view of herself. You silently beam at the improved durability, knowing she'll be much less prone to damage. Judging by the blueprints, she's not exactly a tank or anything, but she's certainly not going to fear any rogue tables from now on.

"Doctor," Pandora speaks up "can we try something?" Her fingers intertwine and she seems excited and nervous about something.

"What's that?" you ask.

"Can we try..." Pandora's hair shifts from yellow to a soft purple "More dancing? No more getting hurt, right? So..."

You're too awkward to admit it, but you've really been hoping to get another shot at dancing again, especially after practicing so diligently. You smile and nod, offering out your hand.

"I'd love to." you say, attempting to sound formal and charming, though it loses something without the classy outfit and roguish good looks.

Pandora takes your hand happily, her hair shifting back to a cheerful yellow-green. You begin with some careful, slow steps as not to trip over yourself. After a short moment to get situated, you and Pandora are doing a somewhat shaky waltz together, Mouse cackling and clapping in the background, cheering the both of you on and loving every moment of it. You have a feeling it's a mix of laughing with and at you, but honestly it doesn't even bother you anymore. You're among friends. Babsy and the Bobs look on cheerfully, with Babsy's gentle laughter and applause serving as the only music you need. Snowglobe simply goes back to looking over some more blueprints and data on a PDA. He's not exactly the "fun uncle" type, you suppose.

A few minutes later and you finish your dance, ending in a formal bow, followed by an excited hug from Pandora. Applause all around from the R&D team and you take a seat, Pandora still mimicking some of the dance moves you performed together.
The day is your oyster and you've not a care in the world. What now?

Talk to Babsy or Mouse, maybe about what we could do about any further nightmares with the Badman. I feel that she needs to toughen up a little. I feel like while the whole gun and weapon discouragement was neccesary, i'm worried it might've turned her into a pushover regarding Badman. .

The gym is open to anyone in the Facility. It's basically an all-purpose exercise room for everybody to stretch their legs and get off their ass for a while. The security team uses it the most, though. I don't think working out is how androids get "buff", though.

You turn to Babsy, trying, albeit somewhat unsuccessfully to be cooler than you actually are. You figure she might know something you could do to help with the "bad man" situation. Not to mention it's another chance to chat her up and hopefully not look like a total wad.

"So..." you begin as Pandora shows off her dancing skills to Mouse and the Bobs "We had a bit of an issue this morning with Pandora. Nothing we couldn't handle, of course, but still a bit concerning. Pandora's wake up software conflicted with another bit of the AI's left-over code and we had to take steps to fix it. She wasn't too happy when she did wake up, but she soldiered through. My question is...do you think we might be babying her too much? Of course she's important, but I don't want her to be helpless forever. I want her to be able to stand up for herself and learn how to 'fight' against her fears."

Babsy nods, a mechanical hand resting on her cheek as she thinks it over. "You're not wrong at all, doctor. She does need to know how to overcome things on her own. She gets a lot of help with things, which can spoil a child, her as well. Try giving her her own time to work out problems by herself. Maybe give her some puzzles or word problems to work through. Teach her to be self-sufficient. Then, from there, work on how to overcome fears using those skills. It will be slow, even with how fast she learns things, but eventually she will be able to overcome anything thrown at her. One step at a time, doctor." She smiles and you melt a little.

"Thanks..." you say, not really sure how to respond to this "Beautiful... O-Observation! You're as insightful as always!" You have a mild panic attack.

You think a test of Pandora's abilities in her new body would be a good idea and a way to figure out just exactly what her limits are. A quick message to Security to let them know what's up and you're ready to go. However, before you head out, you're stopped by Babsy.

"If you don't mind, I'd like to join you so I can observe our work in action." Babsy turns to Mouse as if to ask permission. Mouse simply shrugs. "I could use a good workout myself. Getting a little stiff being all cooped up in here all day."
Fighting off the fantasies of watching her work up a sweat is getting difficult.

"Y-Yeah, sure." You stammer out, shifting uncomfortably.

"Excellent." Babsy smiles "I'll go change and meet you there!" She hurries out the door, off to wherever they have the R&D team living. It occurs to you just how little you actually know about the lot of them.

After she's left, Mouse decides to give her own view on the situation at hand. "Boiyoiyoiyoing!" She laughs uncontrollably at her own joke. You didn't think it was that funny.

"Boiyoiyoiyoing!" Pandora mimics despite not actually knowing what it means, causing Mouse to laugh even harder.

"That's my girl, Panda!" Mouse dries a tear. Huh, you didn't think she still had tear ducts with her ocular implants. "Give 'em hell out there for me." She gives Pandora a farewell hug. You admit Panda is kind of a cute nickname for her.

After goodbyes are said, you make your way to the gym with Pandora, the security team ever present as you travel as well as in the gym, though not all of them are there to watch you. The gym is a huge open area with various sections for different activities. There's a weight lifting section with various imposing-looking machines and things to punch being used by pretty much entirely security staff, a large track that runs almost the whole length of the gym with a few people jogging around it, a small section with various lines drawn on the floor for sports currently being used to play tennis by a few people you're unfamiliar with and lastly a closed off section near the showers with a moderately sized pool. Pool probably wouldn't be a good idea for Pandora, but everything else seems like a good idea.
