In a blink more than a week had passed. You were starting to get used to be surrounded by your personnel and living in such corridors. The sight of armed people was now common, even the lowliest techpriests was now carrying a combat knife and a laspistol with the necessary trigger training to become efficient enough with the use of such weapons.

After you had deal with the dispute between the two ranks of the Mechanicus and erased any kind of discord the harmony started to return to the daily life. There was an overall change of mentality among those people, something that they were completely unused to after years of monotone study and repetitive schedules. They were even starting to make small supervised fights between them after their classes and work were done, a sanctioned fight club.

Slowly you dragged yourself out of your bathtub, feeling somewhat annoyed at the fact that you couldn’t fit inside anymore. You would have to order the construction of one with greater dimensions. Walking with a firm and steady step you reached the Command Bridge and saw the usual people working in their usual positions. All was fine.

>Train to get used to your new body and bionics. [ rolled 51 ]
>Invite Nathaniella to train with us.

The training grounds got incredibly crowded at late evening but at these morning hours they were mostly empty. You decided to hit the gym and test your new body to see how far could they go and how much punishment could they take. You messaged Nathaniella and suggested her training together as both a mean to become physically stronger but also to strengthen your bonds.

Thanks to your upgraded and longer legs you were able to reach the place pretty fast. Once you were down there you saw that indeed, the area was mostly devoid of life and the few ones that where in there were servitors that were calibrating the training machinery and collecting the different weights and apparatuses.

You removed your robe and armor and ended with only some elastic briefs as the only cover. They covered the only part that was mostly untouched of your body, your genitalia had been covered with teslaskin and electoos and had its blood vessels filled with the hermetic serum, they had their pelvic bones and muscles upgraded but still, they felt pretty human looking to you, and since the flesh is weak you thought that covering such part was appropriate.

With your new body you were able to raise more than 300 lbs with some ease. And your fists were able to rip punching bags out of their chain hinges with a mere heavy punch. As you destroyed your third sand filled punch bag Nathaniella appeared. She was once more wearing her armor and mask but it was obvious that spending nine days on bed and only ingesting serum and other liquid based diets had weakened her somewhat.
>>
>>43521434

During the following hours you and trained together and helped each other. She was really helpful when it came to teaching you hand to hand combat as she had some training with the use of a power fist and thus knew several techniques and tricks when it came to unarmed brawling.

You were very lucky of having her among your army, she was strong and a great ally, someone who will fiercely fight and command her men for you towards the glory at the sacred orders of the Omnissiah.

Due to her weakened status she more than once got out of breath but still she continued pushing herself further and further, trying to return to her former self as soon as possible.

After three hours of training she commented that she couldn't go further and decided to end it for the day. You two showered together, your frame was so ample and big that you required two shower heads to properly clean yourself.

"Hey, check this out!" Nathaniella says as she turns a strange black valve.

Suddenly all the pipes tremble and from the showers the water flow ceases, only to be exchanged for a warm and transparent sacred oil.

"Amazing isn't it? Oil baths. This oil is good for both machinery and flesh. We offer it to Skitarii that have proved themselves in the shooting range or the combat mats. I didn't knew if you were aware of it so well, this was a pretty good option to say it right?"

Nathaniella's curvy body soon started to get shiny under the thin layer of aromatic oil that started to cover her. Feeling nervous and strangely anxious you scrubbed yourself with oil while avoiding eye contact and then dried yourself before leaving the showers.

>Your crafting skills are somewhat rusty. Study and try to recover your past dexterity. [ rolled 77 ]

You weren't really sure of why did you felt so anxious, it wasn't because of her naked body, that for sure. All the Electro-priests of the ship had their chests naked to proudly show their electoo designs and among their ranks there were several females which didn't had any trouble to have their chests completely exposed. Looking at it from an logical way it was something fair and logic, why should they have their adipose sacks covered while the males don't?

To try to calm and focus you decided to dress up once more and head into the Schola. Maybe their librariums and archives will be able to clear your mind.

Once inside you found that sadly, this place wasn't as calm and empty as the training grounds. There were several young students that were on their first steps to becoming true techpriests and among them there were several recently graduated rune-priests that still hanged around the same school that taught them because they became pretty attached to it.

You also started as a Rune-priest, back in Telematha...yet you have no memory of attending any school not having any feeling of attachment to any particular building. Could it be because you were a clone and all your life was nothing than a constructed lie? Such thought made your black blood boil with rage and gave you even more determination to fulfill your vengeance.

This determination was the necessary trigger to make you study for hours and not only recover most of your old forgotten skills, but also learn new techniques and improve yourself. You wouldn't be as skilled or dexterous as your daughter but sill you were once more an agent of creation, and not only destruction.

After about four hours of study and practice you decided to end it for the day and return to the Command Bridge.

The two rolls go together. The best one was 51, 77. Sorry bud.

>Read any message that the crewsmen might have written to you.

Once you sat on your chair the servoarms activated and gave you a stream of data and options. You selected to read your new messages and saw two new ones, one from Geourgius, the leader of the Electro-Priests that was shimmering with excitation about your incoming fight. There was also some work orders about printing a modified version of the Imperial Infantryman Uplifting Primer that had been adapted by the Mechanicus to be shared among the Techpriests. You accepted it and closed the session.

>Check how the upgrade of your wings is going

Right after that you decided to message the Magii that had been tasked with the Study of your wings and the attempt to improve them to make them be able to let you fly with your new added weight. Apparently they had spent those days calculating the new dimensions that your wings will need to posses. According to their calculus they will require at least 35 feet each to properly maintain you suspended on the air. They are now working on trying to make such great wings into a compact storage and also turning them into something that will synergy with your electoos and other electricity conducting bionics so you truly become the Luminangelus once more.
>>
>>43521488
>Write the first diary log for your Daughter Alaria.

Knowing that everything was good you decided to call to your servoskull and write the first video-diary.

"Dear Alaria...I know I look different but it is really me, your father. The avatars of destiny have taken me to a dangerous path, you know it better than anyone for you have lost me not only once, but twice. I have to fight monsters and for that I had to become one, I hope you can forgive me some day."

You rested on the chair and let it continue recording.

"These days have been really difficult. I don't know if I can be a good leader. I have always been a wayward vagabond, moving from one group to another and never being able to truly stick with one for long. All my friends are either dead or light years away. Those people need a leader and I feel like an abomination... You are the only reason of why I know that I am not a complete monster, you are the living example of that I am human after all. I know that I can't send you those messages, for the distance that we share is way too great but I hope you will be able to read them some day and feel proud of me. I love you Alaria."

With the message recorded you simply shrugged and hoped to see her again soon enough.

I forget if we have any of the schematics we had on our old ship, our skitarii would love the armor for sure. Maybe more melta weapons? especially usefully in confined quarters like a ship.

Oh and that was the lasy one off the top of my head. I imagine we'll still spend a few hours every day training everyone and managing still regardless right? Oh and we need heracor to get in some more situations with Nathaniella haha.

These three will require a d100 dice roll each to see how well it goes. Also, what do you want me to create? A weapon, an armor or what? Be more specific.

>I forget if we have any of the schematics we had on our old ship, our skitarii would love the armor for sure. Maybe more melta weapons? especially usefully in confined quarters like a ship.

We don't have the old schematics, they were destroyed along when Karelia's cruiser was purged. This frigate has the capability of creating Meltaguns thought, albeit for ship interior combat they don't use meltas, but shotguns. Meltas would completely destroy the hull, they want to avoid that.

Shotguns are used because they kill of invaders but leave the hull relatively undamaged.

Oh I was just listing options, but for forging something could we do a very long range weapon? I know in the fluff some lasrifles, long las specifically, are suppose to fire in the nonvisible spectrum to be stealthy. Could we do that with how we twinlinked lasrifles before to have a hard hitting stealth killer?
If not acceptable feel free to pick something else for the weapon. Also regarding the roll:
WITNESS ME!

I'm feeling generous and since the quest is reaching its last arc I wont be a dickhead. We will get our Meltapistol and Longlas. Still, our character will be munchkin as fuck, for real, the Swiss knife of the Mechanicus.

It will have:
[- Explosioves -]

[- Pistols -]
>One Phospex Pistol
>One Arc Pistol
>One Electric Melta Pistol

>>43521506

The following days Nathaniella took over the training of the Techpriests and Skitarii and you simply aided her from time to time. The warp route continued stable and thus you decided to reject the Navigator's suggestion of heading into the possible shortcut, besides, 21 days of travel was pretty short in comparison with the yearlong journeys that some vessels can take. You had also strengthened your bonds with the rest of the crew and specially the generals that will command your forces. You wouldn't consider them friends, but they at least seem to trust you now. During that time you let the Skitarii look at your body and discover that while bizarre and strange at first, it was made from the same materials as theirs, you showed them that changing oneself might be hard but that it was a necessary sacrifice. You also gave some classes to the Techpriests, specially about weapon maintenance and with your regained skills they became able to learn that oneself has to be adaptable and not only focus in one aspect like combat or construction. They were techpriests, complex workers, not monotask servitors after all.
>>
>>43522726

You were starting to believe that indeed you might be a chosen of the Omnissiah. You had always had preference for energy based weapons and it cannot be just casualty that when you reached Psykerdom you gained electric dominance. So far you had used flamers, plasma, arc and las weaponry but never a melta. Now that you had a new bulkier frame you considered that you could carry a couple of more weapons with you, not something too bulky, maybe a pistol and a rifle or something. Now that you had regained your crafting skills you also decided to turn that idea into a reality and spent several days into the Making of a portable Melta Pistol that also had the capability of electrifying the surfaces it melted and thus fend off any possible person that might be guarding behind cover, you were also able to craft a laser rifle that had a great amplifying scope and whose photonic beam was in the infrared spectrum and was thus totally invisible to the unaugmented human eye.

You also tried to get used to the operation of the ship but that was a task that required a complete life to be learned and thus you could only get the most basic grasp of it. Maybe in the future, if you survived this, you might be able to live enough to learn how to pilot a ship.
>>
>>43522744

On the few free time that you had you also spent some time with Oronn Revanor, the eccentric Magos Biologis. It ended being a way nicer person than you expected, since you had changed your body so much and exchanged your blood for serum it had been able to feel somewhat more identified with you and thus became more amicable. The moment you had accepted changing your body and being its patient it had also gotten access to your DNA and thus learn all your secrets. You were unsure if your blankness was something artificial or genetic but you were hopping that he wouldn't discover your secret. At the end it revealed to you that it was born a man, but that it had been centuries since he had lost any trace of gender. Some Techpriests lose their sexual identitiy thanks to mechanical augmentations but he lost it after decades of injecting female DNA, at the end his genitalia simply ceased to work and he decided to remove his sexual organs, as they were now simply a sack of unnecessary limpy flesh.

At the end of the 18th day the Magii had managed to craft your improved wings. They were wings whose skeletal structure was made from a shiny silver and golden metallic substance that was both light and strong and was covered in thousands of long and thin crimson feathers that became gray looking in the tip. You later were revealed that the composition of those feathers was made with millions of small cilia like cables that were able to conduct heat and electricity and that the tip of each feather had been covered with a small layer of platinum to increase the conductivity on those small segments.
>>
>>43522759

These long and massive wings could cover you and intertwine together, giving it the appearance of a feathery robe that hid your entire body.

The moment you activated your electoos and luminen capacitors those wings started to glow with a great intensity and to accumulate energy that they later discharged in the form of cracking electric arcs. It indeed gave you a holy aura and made you look like the living image of an angel of glowing wings.

Finally the fight with the leader of the Electro-priests was today. Everybody spoke about it and for the sake of the moment you allowed to make bets and also released the Skitarii and Techpriests that had been jailed the first days.

You descended towards the training grounds, which had been adapted and altered, it now had a hanging metallic cage with several energy capacitors that wouldn't let any electricity escape and would ricochet it all across the interior. It was a Faraday Cage Match, two Electro-techpriests would enter and liberate their stored energy and none of it would be able to escape. The fight would be made without weapons, only fists and electricity.

There were several thousands of people surrounding the cage and also dozens of servoskulls that had been adapted to be able to sustain the possible levels of ionized air and electrostatic energy that will be around.

With the aid of your wings you became able to leap into the air with an unnatural grace that left most people speechless. Gracefully you got on top of the cage and then with a somersault entered inside. People started clapping you, something that infuriated Georgius, because he enjoyed being the core of the attention and you were now the one who was stealing his protagonism.
>>
>>43522774

Georgius Simonohm was a short and stocky man who discharged energy in the mean of electrical arcs every few seconds; he was so overcharged that its sole presence seemed to interfere with some machinery. All of the Electro-priests that you had known so far were completely bald and hairless due to the electric voltage that was constantly crossing their bodies burned their hair follicles but still he had somehow managed to keep having body hair and even a well-trimmed beard, some people believed that it was because his father was an abhuman subtype known as Squat, but due to him being a general nobody dared to ask if it was true. As for weaponry he had a mix of an Electrostatic Gauntlets and a Electroleech Stave that was ended in a Warhammer head and whose handle was almost as tall as he was and was connected to a massive power generator and at the same time to a series of energy coils that were united to his neck and wrists. He seemed to be an incredibly formidable combatant.

He had no wings but sill he managed to ascend into the cage in a crude yet effective fashion. One of the least known properties of magnetism is that it affects all the materials, not only the metallic ones. With enough force one could create a magnet able to attract or repel a human body. Using that same principle he started to send a great quantity of energy across his naked soles and started to ascend across a metallic column, the electricity magnetized the ferric surface and this one became strong enough to create an attraction between his feet and the surface. That way he was able to walk on any metallic surface. When he was at about your height its magnetic field became even more noticeable, for it was so big that all the hanging cage started to till and move in his general direction. At the end he simply jumped and let the same electromagnetic field guide him towards the interior of the jail. The two combatants were now ready to fight.

>Use the Ferric Lure Implants to try to disarm him.

When the ring that indicates that the combat has started sounds with its echoing chime Georgius jumps towards you with his eyes spewing great quantities of energy and his muscle completely tensing as he readies to land a punch on your face.

As you activate the Implants you feel a vibration all across your arms that quickly reaches your metallic bones and quickly descends across your spine as if it were a highways towards your thighs and bionic legs.

Then as if it were an invisible whip on your arms a magnetic field appears and suddenly pushes him towards you. You sink your feet into a steady position and got ready to counter his attack.

As he uncontrollably accelerated you moved away and instead landed a punch into its stomach. Even when attacked his body was able to send some energy towards its attacker and after punching him you felt your body stung by his passive energy discharge.
>>
>>43523322

After the impact he spun in mid air and did a barrel roll to avoid being hit by you more times and also to roll out of his reach, then with a jump he got back on his feet and rested his back against the bars of the cage.

"You got the first hit that for sure. But war's aren't won with a single strike!"

Then he proceeded to grab the bars and electrify them, he somehow managed to concentrate all his energy into a single point instead of sending it all across the metallic surface of the cage. Slowly the structure started to tilt once more, it was being bent towards the metallic ceiling by turning it into a massive electromagnet.

Choose your option and roll 1d100. If your roll is higher than mine then is a success.

Before it is too late you run towards the same side of the cage that he is in and grab one of the bars that are being electrocuted and turned into a magnet. Your ferric hands have a lot of trouble to grab them due to being repelled but at the end your sheer force and determination make you be able to hold onto them. Georgius is next to you wondering what are you up to but too focused on tilting the cage to fight back.

With your free hand you grabbed his beard and started transmitting his own electric energy back towards him and creating a organic short circuit. He grinned his teeth in frustration, both because he was being zapped and also because you had dared to touch his beard.

Just as the cage was about to reach the ceiling of the area his beard started to catch fire and he instinctively releases the cage.

"My beard! It matters not now! It will regrow thicker and longer! And now you will fall!"

The cage was so close to the ceiling that the sudden release made it descend as if it were a massive pendulum. Georgius covered his body in electricity and turned himself into a massive electromagnet, his surroundings were all metallic and thus he simply became a body that ricocheted all across the interior while spewing massive amounts of electricity. You had both to avoid touching him and crashing once the cage completely descends with all its force.

Aww shit. I bet with us having a much greater mass and armor than our opponent with the both of us shooting around like pin balls he's gonna get the worst of it. Maybe we even manipulate the magnetism so well we use it to shoot him into the ground right as we hit it haha.

>Activate your teslaskin, luminen capacitors, wings and all your electoos. Like Georgius turn into a body of pure untouchable electricity.

Georgius is in a fetal position, turned into a magnetic ball of blue cracking energy that rebounds against the walls of the cage nonstop like an uncontrolled electron. You proceed to charge yourself and get covered in red electricity, soon enough you feel your body floating from its own sheer magnetic field. You curl into a ball, and then it happens.

As if it were a class between two atoms inside a large hadron collider you two impact against each other and clash nonstop. From the outside the only thing that can be seen are two balls of energy, one red and the other blue, fighting and clashing nonstop, nobody truly understand what is going on and honestly you don't either.

From your perspective all you can see and feel is an overwhelming energy that invades all your body and a eternal light that cannot be blocked no matter how hard you close your eyes. Sometimes you feel a soft push in some direction of your body and other times you feel a punch like sensation followed by an electric sting. You think that the soft push is when your magnetic field rebounds against the metallic bars or the floor and the punch is when you clash against him, still, this combat is something that only the most knowable Magii could grasp to understand.

You didn't knew it but you were winning. His electric energy output was bigger but you were bigger and heavier and thus with each impact you were damaging and stopping him more and more. It was pretty obvious looked from outside.

At the end the final confrontation happened, you two clashed against each other and poured all your electric energies together. The concentration of magnetic and electric energy was so big that it ended in a explosion of ionized air and light that carried whiting a magnetic shockwave that was so big that it completely destroyed all the bars that formed the cage and sent its lower floor directly towards the floor.

Suddenly in a second you two found yourselves on the air, you had wings but he had not. Like a sparrow you managed to dive into the air and grab him from the forearm before he smashed himself against the ground.

>End the fight now.
>Only the lower part of the cell has been destroyed, go to the upper and combat there
>Continue the fight on the floor level.

In an act of Mercy you decided to slowly descend him to the ground and continue grabbing his arm, a gesture that slowly turned into a firm handshake.

You two were warriors of the Motive-force, the third of the Omnissiah's trinity, and believed that all life and motion owes its continued existence to that ineffable divinity. For an instant you two had became living embodiment of the vitae that powers all the Machinery of the Omnissiah, your fight had been quick yet intense, just like electric energy is.

On his eyes and expression you could see that he thanked you having saved his life and considered himself defeated but that he was desiring for a rematch.

"One day we will clash again...friend." He ended saying.

You looked around and noticed that the few servitors and personnel that still had hair on their bodies had them completely tensed and raised, the electricity had flooded the ambient and made everybody became charged with electrostatic energy. There were even some fried servoskulls that had succumbed the energies that you two expelled, a hard reboot should be enough to return them to their former shelves.

People all around were either in shock about what happened or completely in disbelief. Slowly they all managed to understand what had happened and a chorus of applause soon surrounded you two.

Besides from some small burns and bruises you two were unharmed, still the insistence of the Magos Biologis to be taken care for made you be forced to spend the penultimate day resting on bed instead of with the excited people that wanted to ask a million questions about what had happened.

+[ DAY 21 of 21 ]+

The final day you walked towards the Command Bridge as usual. The people were awaiting for you instead of looking at their screens and machines. There would be still some hours until the ship reached the Materium.

"What can we expect from Telematha, boss?" Said one of the data analyzers.

>Ask them to gather all the Information that they have about the planet, there might have been some changes while you were out.

You gathered all your commanders and let everybody else out, this was a private meeting.

"Everybody gather all the intel that we can about the planet, search all across the databanks and the hard copy books and scrolls."

After some hours they all had gathered all the information that they could and directed it to the holgraphic screen that rested on the center of the Command Bridge. It showed a crude image of your planet, that lacked a lot of details and was more informative and representative.

>Tell them all you know about the planet.

You looked at all the data and saw that those were numbers and little more, they didn't truly caught the spirit of that Forge World.

"Telematha is a very arid a dry world that orbits a white star. Its only deposits of water are deep underground in the form of lakes or the "Everflow"...the Everflow is a massive circular ocean that encircles the planet's crust and is on a constant movement, thus explaining its name. Its surface is filled with plains and hills, it barely has any mountain or other geographic phenomena. Those hills are mostly covered in mercantile warehouses, spaceports or fields filled with solar panels in all directions as far as the eye can see. The Magii that created the first forge weren't interested in the surface, they wanted to dig deep underground were the untapped reserves of water were located, those were ideal to be used as a dumping ground for dangerous materials like nuclear waste or also as a way to cool down machines that tended to overheat, the Everflow was also immediately filled with hydroelectric power plants that gave them way more energy that they could spend on their entire lifetimes."

With your hands you pointed at the Holographic depiction and showed a massive chimney that poked out of the planet's surface and ascended up until it pierced the weak atmosphere and reached to the stars.
>>
>>43525726

"You see, the planet is divided in two levels, the underground in where the Techpriests live and the surface that is were the merchants land their ships and buy our products. These members from outside the Mechanicus are forbidden from descending and honestly, they don't seem to mind much. Both levels live pretty nearby but they rarely meet, in fact it wasn't until I left my planet that I saw its sky for the first time. At first the many underground forges had chimneys that ascended into the surface and simply spewed their smog towards the atmosphere, still since it was so weak it would have turned the planet into a dead inhabitable world in only two decades. The Techpriests that lived underground didn't cared much for it didn't affected them directly but the merchants outside would be radically affected. There were two options...one was to completely adapt the millions of warehouses, solar fields and spaceports that cover the planet , the other was to build the Core Needle."

You zoomed the chimney and placed a schematic of the planet's underground, it showed a great web of pipes that united on the Core Needle.

"The Core Needle is a supermassive chimney that spews all the smoke and vapors from the entire planet. It is filled with jet engines that help the gasses ascend and at its peak point it reaches outer space. In fact it is so high that it also works as a Spaceport and a Space Elevator. Luckily for us there is a Black hole pretty close to the system and thus the mix of the acidic vapors, smoke and other chemicals is directed there and sucked into oblivion."

>Now that you trust them and they trust you tell them the entire truth, about your anima chips and the strange experiments that they are creating.

"Does, any of you know what a blank, a soulless person is?"

"Like...a criminal?" Asks Nathaniella.

"No, I am literal, someone who lacks a soul yet is able to control a body."
>>
>>43525741

"That's impossible!" Yells Georgius "The Soul is like the spark that activates the machines, without soul there can be no life."

"I'm sorry, but you are wrong."

You walked towards him and grabbed his hand to shake it while you looked at him to the eyes, then you deactivated your anima chip and let him see firsthand how your fake soul died and your true self revealed. As if you were covered in blisters and plagued he suddenly removed his hand from yours.

"What have...what are you!?"

"I am a monster, not because of my body, but due to my lack of soul. I am a creation at the hands of some monsters of Telematha. This isn't a mission to be crowned a hero but to find the real reason of my existence and to bring death to all those who once participated or came with the plan of my creation."

You once again activated your anima chip and slowly regained the little specks of humanity that you had left.

"I wasn't only crafted in some genetic vat and then had my soul extracted, but I was also given a chip that was able to somehow give me a soul of some sort. When I became the Luminangelus was because my soul was so overcharged that I reached psykerdom! We aren't going to face only people who experiment with human clones, but Heretics of the highest order that are playing to be gods. So far I only know of two Magos that are involved, Magos Artisan Hellenica, the crafter of the chip and Magos Biologis Axsiselios, the one who implanted me the device. There is a great chance of this becoming into a massive skirmish, to end with Skitarii fighting Skitarii, but we have no other choice. If whatever they are doing run amok we could have a planet full of uncontrolled psykers, and we all know how dangerous that could be...This is a secret mission backed by the Inquisition, in case this ends as an armed conflict we will have them on our side, we won't be alone. So...who is with me?"

One by one they all agreed to join you. Georgius was somewhat sad because he had just bent told that what happened wasn't a miracle of the Omnissiah, but a result of your chip. Still, the impression that gave your show left him scarred enough to despise the Telemathans that created you, and thus even he joined your side.

Shortly after that a great rumble filled the entire ship and it left the Warp, in front of you lied your old planet, Telematha. It was good to be back.

>Had me dying at Faraday cage match!
I'm glad! I am always kind of worried about my combat scenes being confusing and not up to par. Besides I was secretly hoping that none of you is an electric engineer or something, I bet I have said lots of impossible or ridiculous things, my knowledge about electricity is pretty basic.
>>

Studying engineering but not electrical so don't worry. Just go by the rule of cool.
>>
Sonofa - I just missed it.

Well, good run Ax. Glad to see our own side won't explode at us if we flip on the blank mode. Do we have many blank gadgets to make us better at that?
