You had a dreamless and pretty irregular sleep. Your experience as a starship captain was inexistent and thus you could barely rest at all. Even the smallest noise or disruption was enough to wake you in a startled manner and question yourself if there was something wrong. The fears of something failing and a catastrophe happening were haunted you all night. At the end it was the morning siren the one that completely awakened you. Tired and restless you slowly arched your back and felt all your bones and your adamantium spine creaking like a rust filled gearwheel.

A red light scanned you from a head to toes a couple of times and after detecting your complete awakening several mechanical servos and articulated arms activated and placed several screens in front of you. Today was a new day.

You were the person of highest status and the one who hold the highest power on that vessel yet you didn’t have any real task nor work. From your chair you could command everything and everybody. Today was a new day, and now you were the administrator. What would you do now?
+[ DAY 2 ]+
+[ TIME: 8:00 AM ]+
>Look at the travel path. See how many days are left before you reach your destination.
>Check Nathaniella in the infirmary and train her men while she recovers.
>You have said more than once that you consider everybody on board a warrior. Go to the Forges and order the creation of combat knives and laspistols for everybody. Then order them all to two hours of training each day. Be the one who trains them.
>Descend to the Forges and check your private forge. Decide if you want to create any weapon or try to improve any existing one.
>Check the Bionic forging capabilities of this vessel and see if there is any augmentation that you might want to install on yourself.
>Read any message that the crewsmen might have written to you.

Sensible first things to do. No sense making everyone train twice a day if we only have a week.

>Look at the travel path. See how many days are left before you reach your destination.

Reading the travel charts might be the most sensible thing to do, that way you won't be caught off guard if anything strange and avoidable happens. After selecting the travel chart a holodepiction appears, it shows the origin and destination of the journey the frigate is doing, obviously it doesn't shows a holographic recreation of the warp around you, as that would be both impossible and a terrible idea. Instead it shows the Inquisitorial Space Station from which you departed and Telematha, your frigate rested in between them.

On each side an array of data appaeared, on the left it showed the real information, like the real distance, in light years, between the Station and Telematha and the date of Departure, while the right side showed possible outcomes, like how much has the ship advanced so far and how many days of travel had happened in the Material plane. This second column of information was always changing, for the nature of the warp was impossible to calculate and thus that data was incredibly random and hard to measure.

It was gratifying to see that the ship was still inside an stable Warp route and that there had not been any kind of deviation whatsoever. If all went according to the plan the ship would need about three weeks to reach its destination and only a few days would have passed in the Materium.

>Read any message that the crewsmen might have written to you

After that you relaxed started to read your incoming messages. The first one was a order confirmation that said that your servoskull was already started to get constructed and that you would receive it tomorrow. Since your combat with the Skitarii leader and your show of both combat honor and mercy several other people had dared to challenge you, both to prove themselves and also to gain your respect.
>>
>>43503000
The first one was Georgius Simonohm, the leader and commander of the local Electro-priest cult and a apparently a strong warrior. He asked you to a Faraday Cage Match in witch you two would have to fight inside a hanging cage that would absorb and reflect all the discharged energy. Georgious was one of the many people that joined your cause after he saw the leaked video-recording of you becoming an Electromancing psyker. Surely he was wishing to see you become the Luminangelus once more.

A group of regular skitarii also wanted to fight you, they were hoping to prove themselves and also make their commander proud. It seemed that they had Nathaniella in great esteem and thus they felt somewhat down when they saw her defeated at your hands.

The days in which you were a scared thing weakling were now gone, you weren't afraid of combat anymore, it was good to have people wanting to fight you.

>Accept the challenge of Geourgius
>Accept the challenge of the Skitarii

Sounds good to me.
Not sure that 3 weeks will be enough to really get the untrained up to speed, but it will be enough to impress upon the combat ready our style and values of fighting

Supporting >>43503064
Hi Ax, how's it going?
>>
>>43503026
>Tell Geourgius that you accept its challenge but that it won't happen until everybody is armed and trained enough

Your metallic fingers quickly pressed the mechanic keyrunes and started to write an answer towards the stocky and fierce warrior.

++I accept, yet I want it to be an impressing act that will motivate and reach the spirits of all the inhabitants of this frigate. During the next three weeks I'll equip and train everybody so they can fight with combat knives and laspistols, I want them all to have some combat mentality ingrained in their brains. The last day of our journey I will get everybody and fight you, everybody, to the last one will see our glorious clash and feel our warring energy across their skin and bionics. See you in three weeks, I give you the chance to train until then.++

With that said you hoped that his energetic spirit would become excited and even somewhat enraged. You had undervalued him on purpose to turn him into an even better warrior. The fact of losing against him was even popping in your brain but still, this fight might be so fierce and intense that everybody will be impressed and scarred in a good way. They will experience the might of the Omnissiah in its purest form.

>You have said more than once that you consider everybody on board a warrior. Go to the Forges and order the creation of combat knives and laspistols for everybody. Then order them all to two hours of training each day. Be the one who trains them.

The instant you started to stand up from your command throne all the screens quickly moved away and let you walk away. Quickly you descended into the forgeries once more, ignoring all the curious looks and answering the respectful salutes with a quick formal greet.
>>
>>43503614

Once down there you once again and accessed a work terminal to write the order. It was an easy order, combat knives and laspistols for everybody. After pressing the ENTER rune the message was fragmented in several data packets and sent all across the workstations. Quickly everybody, to the last working techpriest received a message on their personal cogitators or work terminals. As if it were a blessing they all became pretty happy to know what you just did, as they would get them busy during all the journey. After that you also sent a memo.

++ Greetings. Captain Heracor Nahive speaking. From now on all the forging techpriests will have to work for only ten hours, then they will have two hours of combat training and another two of combat study, the resting ten hours will be to rest, eat and study in your own free time. ++

Since the day had just started in about ten hours you would have to train them all. Let's see how though they are.

>Check Nathaniella in the infirmary and train her men while she recovers.

With that done you ascended into the Infirmary and entered into Nathaniella's room. She was awake but somewhat confused from the painkillers and other chemical medicines and pills that she was being healed with. She wasn't wearing any armor not bionics, only a thin patient gown, it was the first time you were able to see her face since she didn't had her mask now. She was a olive skinned woman with very dark eyes and high You sat next to her and very high cheekbones. She had a very short auburn hair and a tattooed barcode all across her neck, it was impossible to know where the tattoo started and where it ended. Now that she lacked bionics she didn't had arms nor legs, her pudgy chest breathed slowly and peacefully.

>Try to completely awake her
>Go to train her men now
>Spend time taking care of her. Train her men along the regular techpriests
>Try to find the bizarre Biologis and ask him about her state and his weird investigations

>Spend time taking care of her. Train her men along the regular techpriests.

The following hours you were next to her, looking that she was fine and well attended. You even got a combat manual and read it aloud for her to keep her both entertained and awakened. She surely didn't managed to get much of it due to her half awakened half asleep state but nevertheless you thought that it was polite and a detail that she would appreciate.

Honestly, you thought that taking care of her would be way more monotone and boring but reading and looking at her from time to time was pretty relaxing and enjoyable. At the end the ten hours until the training time began came quickly and thus you had to leave her to the care of the nurses and descend into the training grounds.

Along with you a great number of Skitarii and regular techpriests came. Obviously not all of them did. Only one third of all of them came, the rest would be either working hard during their forge shift or either resting or studying.

There were so many people concentrated on a single place that you thought that the frigate could even tilt from the sudden added weight. All the techpriests that had come to your training were already equipped with their lasguns and combat knifes, they were all shiny and immaculate, the proof that they were recently crafted.

For the next six hours you would have to train them all, the classes would be given by other Magii that would show them the proper weapon maintenance rituals and use. According to one of the Skitarii there might be some digital copy of the Imperial Infantryman Uplifting Primer, they could shorten it and add some new chapters about the Omnissiah before printing it all for them to study.

There was a great tension between the regular techpriests and the hardened Skitarius. The first ones suffered from a great spectrum of emotions right now, being complete apathy, excitation and fear the most predominant ones, while the warriors were calm as they should be.

The fact of being near so many armed and untrained people made the Skitarius unease and nervous, they knew how dangerous a emotion ridden person could become if it was armed enough and the fear of some skirmish exploding or having some stray shot was increasing at every second.

Along with that came the crowding, the Skitarius were many, yes. But they were still a minority along the general populace. Such density and personal space invasion made many of them somewhat anxious.

It didn't took long until many of the warriors of the Omnissiah asked to have their training separated from the regular techpriests. This caused several reactions among them, the ones who were excited about the idea of the weapon training felt discriminated and insulted, the ones who were scared of having weapons among them agreed with the fear inducing Skitarii and the apathetic ones simply shrugged as they didn't truly had a opinion on their own.
>>
>>43504660

The inevitable happened and at the end a fight between Skitarii and Techpriests erupted. Obviously the hardened warriors had the advantage, they could easily overpower the techpriests and kick their weapons out of their hands. Still, they were greatly inferior in number and at the end the sheer quantity of Techpriests seemed to give them the winning hand.

"ENOUGH!"

You roared across the vox system with a modulated voice that sounded like a cancer ridden throat and was as loud one thousand exploding bombs and cracked like a hundred of breaking crystals.

With your wings extended you flew upwards with some difficulty. Your new armor and weapons gave it a new weight that it could barely sustain right now. When you were high enough you simply let yourself fall and broke the combat before any casualty or real damage happened.

"We are brothers in arms!"

You grabbed the laspistol from a techpriests hand and saw him retracting in fear.

"This is a tool of the Omnissiah, an extension of your own body. You all will learn to use these weapons with the respect they deserve!"

After saying that you located the Skitarii and Techpriests that started to fight and forced them to shake their hands and transmit it towards all the screens that were on the ship before having them arrested and locked away during the rest of the journey. They needed to be a living example of what will happen if they didn't cooperated.

With them sealed on the Penitatorium you made groups that had several dozens of Techpriests and a couple of Skitarii that would train and teach them. From time to time you also personally taught them personal tips and tricks that you had learned like using your own lenses to blind the enemy.
>>
>>43504672

Luckily for you the Skitarii and Techpriests of the second and third rounds had seen the combat and how firmly you ended it and where thus way more cooperative and helpful one with another.

You ended feeling pretty happy with the result, most the techpriests who were excited found the training really interesting and helpful and considered the idea of becoming Skitarii, about half of the Apathetic ones also got interest on in and most of the ones that were scared of the weapons ceased to be, for they learned that they were just another part of their bodies, and one doesn't has to be scared of their own body.

After the three turns six hours had passed. It was midnight now. Time to go to bed.

>Read any message that the crewsmen might have written to you.
In this occasion you opted to sleep on your own bed. Your room was pretty ample and decorated with several scrolls and blueprints along with gears and other holy machinery. Still, once again you couldn't truly sleep well until you headed into your personal bathroom and rested on the bathtub.

The next morning you woke up and discovered a servoskull floating on in front of your door. It had been equipped with both a picture and voice recorder and a increased memory databank to properly store it all. Since the day had just started you didn't had much to say and thus you only established yourself as its master and ordered it to follow you. After that you went to the Command Bridge.

>Read any message that the crewsmen might have written to you

Surprisingly enough there wasn't any new message, maybe people were scared of you after your act and how you sent those men to the penitatorium. Somewhat annoyed of not having any kind of message you instead decided to see what kind of bionics this frigate could construct and install.
>>
>>43505285
>Check the Bionic forging capabilities of this vessel and see if there is any augmentation that you might want to install on yourself:

Not many implants appeared, it was either because the frigate was new and its bionic list was pretty recent or maybe because since it was so combat oriented the necessary bionics were just implanted weapons, electoos and extra armor. Those were the ones that you could install on yourself.

>Ferric Lure Implants.
Powerful electromagnets are implanted in the user, allowing him to cast forth a net of invisible energy and call an unsecured metal object into his hand.

>Luminen Capacitors
The user’s internal energies, either through biological or artificial sources, are channelled into capacitors buried into the flesh where they can be tapped to recharge items or even released in devastating attacks. They will turn Heracor’s Electoos into a greater force and in case he regains his psyker Electromancy powers he will be further powered.

>Skeletal Petrification.
More a chemical treatment than an implant, metallic fluids are injected into bone marrow in a series of painful operations. The skeletal system incorporates them into the bone structure, making them heavier, stronger, and more damage resistant.

>Skeletal Ferrification. ( Req: Skeletal Petrification )
Covers the bones with a mix of adamantium and silver to give them even more durability and strength. It will make Heracor way heavier.

(cont)
>>
>>43505301

>Synthmuscle
Ropey strands of vat-grown muscle tissue, thick with slurried nutrients and laced with flakweave, are woven into existing muscle groups granting increased strength of varying levels. The user will have some trouble to adapt to his new body due to its increased size and unnatural shape.

Hermetic Infusion
The infuser system replaces human blood and blood processing organs with a far more efficient biomechanical serum, the most advanced forms of which contain legions of microscopic homunculitic machines that can search out and repair damage on a cellular level with frightening speed. Aside from a greying of the flesh and visible withering of the tissues, Hermetic Infusion has one marked side effect: the tech-priest’s body can no longer use human blood, and so cannot be treated for Blood Loss or severe injuries by transfusion or regular medical treatments.

>Auger Array
These implanted devices duplicate the effects of sensor systems that go beyond the human horizons of perception. They are located in the cranium and back and let the user see further and sense enemies even beyond walls.

(cont)
>>
>>43505319

>Servo-Harness ( Not compatible with the Wings )
A metallic cuirass that will grant the user six powerful servo-arms that will be powered with a nu-reactor core and in case of an emergency power failure with the user’s own bio-energy. Those servo-arms will are equipped with powerful pistons and chain drives along with reactive servorotors that will grant them a great strength and agility along with the capability of turning independently and turn 360º. Those arms are also modular and can be equipped with several devices to fit the user’s requirement.

>Servo arms modulations:

>Tool-configuration: Each arm will be equipped with a highly advanced tool that will grant the user a wide spectrum of technical capabilities and the chance of repairing, hacking and breaking most mechanical apparatuses.

>Auto-configuration: It will equip the arms with autoguns of several dimensions, caliber and power, they are all belt feed so they don’t need to reload unless the ammo is completely exhausted.
++Quad-auto: It equips four autoguns on the arms and uses the other two to hold the ammo backpack and feeding mechanisms.
++Binary-Stubber: Two heavy stubbers, one in each shoulder. The two other arms are used to properly move and aim and the last four to carry the ammo and feed it.
++Singular-Rotarii: A great rotor cannon that rests on the user’s left shoulder. The rest other two arms on the left side of the user’s back are used to aim the weapon while the three ones in the right side are used to carry the massive ammo and feeding mechanism.

(cont)
>>
>>43505355

>Las-configuration: It will equip the arms with two different kinds of Laser weapons and the neccesary power pack to power them. The power pack can be feed with a cable or by autonomous and regular lasgun power packs.
++Quad-Lasgun: Four Lasguns that will be able to aim and move in autonomously. Two arms to direct the power.
++Binary-Lascannon: Two lascannons that will rests on the user's shoulders. The other four arms will hold the power pack and necessary cables.

>Plasma-Configuration: Plasma weapons, somewhat more limited because they require both coolant and electric power.
++Binary-Plasma: Two Plasma guns, one in each shoulder. The other four arms will be used to hold both the necessary coolant and cables and aim the weapons.
++Singular-Plasmacannon: A plasma cannon that rests on the user's left shoulder, the rest of the arms are used to store and direct the power and aim.

>Flamer-Configuration: Flame induced weapons, lethal to both armoured and unaurmored enemies but ineffective against buildings or vehicles.
++Binary-Flamer: Two flamers, one in each shoulder. The rest of the arms are used to store the neccesary promethium deposit and the cables.
++Singular-HeavyFlamer: A heavy flamer that rests on the user's left shoulder. The rests of the servo arms are used to store, direct and aim the fuel and the weapon.

(cont)
>>
>>43505372

>Melta-Configuration:
+Binary-Melta: Two Meltaguns, one in each shoulder. The rest of the servoarms are used to aim the weapon and store the ammo and coolant.
+Singular-Heavy Melta: A heavy meltagun, the rest of the servo arms store the energy and coolant along with helping to aim the weapon.

>Shield-Configuration:
+Quad-Shield: Four shields that create a protective bubble around the user when needed. The other two will be used to store the power pack that it requires.

>Sword-Configuration:
+Hexa-Sword: Six regular steel swords, they all can move independently and will be able to fend and kill several enemies if used efficiently.
+Quad-Chainsword: Four chainswords that will be able to move independently. The other two arms will be used to store the necessary fuel to feed them.
+Dual-Powersword: Two powerswords that will rest on the back and be released when the arms activate. The other four arms will be used to store the energy power needed to feed them.

Hmmm I'll put my vote towards the full body transformation. Seems a fitting way to upgrade ourselves, honoring the image of man with these upgrades.

We have different options in there. Some of those bionics will make Heracor way too heavy to use the wings, if this happens we will have either to upgrade or ditch them. Upgrading the wings along with training the crew will leave us with no time to meet our generals and get them to trust us.

What do?

Yeah, the wings are on their limit. If we install any of these we will need to work on our wings to upgrade them and barely have time to meet the rest of the generals. The other, more painful, option is to ditch the wings and get the servo-harness or other three dendrites.

Still...there could be a third option. Trusting the Magii and letting them study and try to upgrade the Wings on their own, that would let him have more time. Everybody roll 1d100. The first five rolls count, the higher the better, lets see how well the Magii would do it.

Bionics to install:

>Skeletal Ferrification
>Synthmuscle
>Hermetic Infusion
>Ferric Lure Implants.
>Auger Array

Your chest is still mostly flesh, and the flesh is weak! You better try to turn your internal components into something as hardy and durable as steel. Instintively you touch your ribcage and remember how the now deceased Eldar Esciallan healed and installed some wraithbone ribs when you had part of your chest busted due to an Ork harpoon launcher. Surely the Inquisitor Iantorus had discovered your xeno component when he studied you while keeping you drugged and on stasis, maybe that was the way he discovered that you had Eldar contacts and got in touch with Elyadien. Your own body had betrayed you, but no more, you would turn it into a trustworthy piece of machinery that wouldn't fail you.

First you would cover your bone tissue with a chemical that would make your skeleton stronger and more durable. Then on top of that and as if it were a heavily armoured vehicle you would cover those same bones with a layer of adamantine silver that would turn those bones into something near indestructible.

Then you would remove your skin and muscle tissue to exchange them with an artificial substitute that would be stronger and make you into a more hulking and intimidating creature. After that you would have to cover your new muscular body with the old teslaskin, which will have to be stretched because this frigate doesn't has the means of creating new one.
>>
>>43507722
At the same time as your entire body is being upgraded you will have all our blood exchanged for a more efficient hermetic serum.

Along with those biomechanical upgrades you would also install an Auger array directly on your cranium and spine and have a new spectrum of eyes and visions that organic eyes could never recreate or posses. You would also install Ferric Lure implants and Luminen capacitors on your arms and legs to greatly increase the power of your electoos and let you magnetically grab objects from a distance. Those bionics will make you look even bigger and more intimidating, something that you want, as fear is another weapon itself.

All those bionics will surely make you way too heavy to properly maintain a steady flight, during yesterday's fight between techpriests and skitarii you had become almost unable to maintain yourself on the air. You had to either try to upgrade those weapons yourself or let the rest of the Magii work with them and discover their secrets to unlock their true potential. A flashback of how , a few days ago you worked with Alaria, and how you were pretty clumsy with the delicate work while she was excellent came to you. You might had been once good with technology but you had focused on combat so much that the rest of your skills had deteriorated to the point of becoming not adept. With a grunt you stood up and removed your six wings and afterwards sent a message to all the Magi, giving them permission to study the wings and urging them to improve their design to make them be able to not only held you in the air, but also maintain a quick and agile flight.

When the selection of the bionics is over you are given a greenlight to head into the medicae bay whenever you wish. To not lose more time you headed immediately.

Surely the operation would take more than one day, as you descended you logged in a public cogitator and sent a message to all the Techpriests and Skitarii explaining that you would not be able to attend the training for at least a couple of days.

You were worried, you were a strong person, yes. But unity was a great element of what makes something strong enough. You are nothing without your warriors, techpriests and Magii. What if they think that you cannot be trustworthy because you have failed them after only one day of training? What if the Magii think that you are near heretek due to urging them to improve sacred tech?

Trying to not focus on those thoughts you finally headed into the Medicae Bay and entered into the operation room. Here awaited the Magos Biologis Oronn Revanor, the hunched madman of indeterminate gender who was obsessed with extracting strange fluids from people and injecting them on itself. Maybe...maybe you were kind of like him, only with weapons and mechanical augmentation instead of biological one.

This operation couldn't be done with annesthesia. The sleeping gas would have interfered in the chemical treatment. You were placed in an antigrav table that maintained you steadily floating, then you were given a muscle relaxant and a neural neuterer, you would see and feel everything but become unable to control your body.

As the operation began you were able to see several medical servitors and odd techpriests that joined the Magos and started to slowly cut your skin with some laser scalpels and to pull it out of your own muscle. Several drops of blood started to float around you due to the antigrav effect, they were all quickly sucked by a servoskull that carried a vacuum cleaner of some sort.

During the following hours you had to see how several needles, some of which were as thick as half inch in diameter, entered into your bones and perforated until they reached the bone narrow, only to inject a substance that burned you from inside out and made you feel as if you were being stabbed millions of times per second all around your body. You want to scream but you have no mouth.

Then your muscles are opened and a strange machine starts pouring the metallic alloy over your bones, to have the alloy malleable it had to be red hot and it felt as if you had been covered in magma, after the metal was poured a laser came and polished the surface of any impurities, making it be shiny and smooth.

That process had taken several hours that felt like an unending eternity to you. During that time the vat-muscles had been forming and were now ready to be implanted. Your old muscles were placed above the still hot metal and quickly sewn together. When your body was completely sewn the ritual of muscle bonding started and you were fused with new muscles that made your body look bulging and inhuman. Placing the new muscles was painful, but bearable compared with the rest of the process, it was the final touch what was really painful, the nerve connections between the old muscles and the new ones was something so painful that you lost your consciousness and recovered it from the shock of pain several continuous times in a very short period of time.

With the muscles all placed you were suddenly stabbed by more than a dozen needles, half of them proceeded to suck you drain of your blood while the rest started pouring a black serum that would now compose your new blood. You felt like loosing your consciousness more than once but it never happened, you were always on the limit, feeling like dying but never doing so.
>>
>>43507816
When it was over the last operation felt like a blessing, as the mechanical components didn't required you to suffer from any pain and were pretty easy. This was just another reason of why the flesh is weak and machines are superior.

You were wrong about your time stipulation. It took about five entire days until you were recovered enough to leave at your own will.

Your new body gave you a way different appearance, you were now close to the 8 feet in eight and your entire frame, with all your weapons and armor, surpassed the tonne easily. Your new muscles gave you a somewhat hunched figure, your skin was now even grayer and pallid and the black blood that flowed only gave you a more sick looking appareance. Your armor had to be reshaped to accommodate your new body and now you had to bow to be able to enter most doors, you felt as if all the pain had been worth it, you were, once more a new man. A true warrior of the Omnissiah!

I assume since they replaced all our muscles we longer have genitalia.
>>

I was just thinking about that. I mean, a dick is not a muscle so I guess they didn't touched it. Which could mean that his only original part is his cock.

I want him to become unvirgin at some point dammit.

>Look at the travel path. See how many days are left before you reach your destination.

Your feet are heavier now, they had to be extended and reinforced to adapt your new dimensions, the same with your arms and your powerblade, they are now wider and longer. With heavy clunking steps you ascend into your chair and sit in there as careful as you can, it doesn't matters your care, it still creaks and squeaks under your heavy weight. As soon as the commanding screens appear you select the travelling datagraph to see how well the journey is going.

Everybody around you looks nervously with the corner of their eyes at you. You had informed of your operation and been out for almost an entire week but yet, it seems that they weren't prepared for your drastic change. They are afraid, you can see it on their movements and on how they look at you.

When the Travelling Datagraph finally boots up you see that there is a message from the Navigator questioning you about a possible shortcut that she has seen about a day away from travel. Her description is pretty vague and esoteric but she seems to say that her heart tells her that this particular path is a direct shortcut towards Telematha and is asking you if we should take it or not.

It was still too soon to decide so you choose to meditate about it and tell her when you have came with an opinion.

>Read any message that the crewsmen might have written to you.

During those five days you have received over a hundred of messages, most of them of infuriated Skitarii, both because you didn't accepted their challenge and also for letting them down with the training. Apparently there have been several attempts to teach and train them but without you several new fights have erupted...there has even been casualties on both groups and they kind of think that you are guilty to some degree.
>>
>>43508496
On their own words you have made those Techpriests taste was being powerful is and then didn't taught them responsibilities and discipline, which has resulted in thousands of inexperienced Techpriests believing themselves to be great warriors. And with their dangerous mentality came the fights and the deaths.

You will have to work and fight hard to regain those people's respect and trust.

Somewhat infuriated you pushed the computers away and broke a couple of screens and fried one power source. It wasn't your fault that your body needed so much time to regain from the operation, it was just your weak flesh that needed all that time, not you!

>Check Nathaniella in the infirmary and train her men while she recovers.

You better see Nathaniella, she might be under you on the hierarchy but she has surely more experience when it comes to leading troops and having them motivated and with a high morale.

With long striding steps you crossed the corridors with your body blocking most part of the pathways in most of the areas that you crossed. Then you finally reached the Infirmarium and sat on the floor, you doubted that the chair would be able to hold your weight.

Nathaniella was asleep but since it was daytime you thought that waking her up was acceptable. Softly you placed your hand on her shoulder and tapped it to awaken her.

"Mmmnh?"

"Greetings, Nathaniella. It is I, Heracor Nahive, your captain."

Slowly she came back to her senses and you became able to speak to her.

>Tell her about your operations and what happened, ask her opinion.
>You feel like you can trust her.Explain her everything, including your psyker powers and such. Ask her opinion
>Ask her how she feels and when is she going to be fully healed.
>Write in.

"Seems like you aren't the only one who has been on those medical facilities..."

She looked at you and blinked several times in disbelief. Then she nodded with a odd expression on her face.

"Indeed...you were already strong? Why go further?"

"I feel...I feel like it isn't enough. I don't know what will I face in my future, but I want to be able to fight and defeat it."

"Heracor, you cannot be a one man Army. Not even the mighty Astartes can defeat everything on their own. You and I are gears, we cannot work on our won but united we can create a mechanism that will win against the enemies of the Imperium..."

"I... I always have been a loner, that is why I was kind of forced to adopt Alaria."

"I barely know anything about you, tell me about her."

"Years ago I used to command a small Skitarii force on an Inquisitorial Cruiser. Attached to our cruiser there was a frigate that had been almost destroyed when a planet was subjected to Exterminatus...It's a long story."

You arched your back when remembering all those things.

"You see, while we were travelling on the warp we had the frigate attached with magnetic anchors, it was protected by the Cruiser's own Geller field and thus I was ordered by the Inquisitor..."

You had trouble to say the following words, the mere fact of remembering Karelia felt sickening.

"I was ordered to clean and repair it to its optimal status. What once was a simple scouting and repairing mission became a nightmare when we discovered a...alien plague."

You lied.
>>
>>43508950
"We had to defeat all those aliens and avoid them entering into the Cruiser. At the end we discovered that fire was effective against them and used several flamers to completely purge them. There were casualties, and among them there was the genetic parents of Alaria, which was just a small girl back in the day."

You breathed and felt your artificial lungs being filled with the stale air of the ship.

"I was also a loner back in the day. Their leader but not someone they could trust. I was way too cold and apathetic. I now know why I was like that...Thing is that I was give the custody of Alaria because a couple of Skitarius believed that she would help me becoming less antisocial. As time passed she managed to have success to some degree, I became more open and felt emotions that I didn't even knew that existed yet... Just when I discovered that I loved her I had to lose her for a great amount of years. I have recently meet her again, she is a lovely girl but I cannot avoid finding her like a complete stranger... I guess that I have returned to the old lonely ways."

"I will help you Heracor. You will be our tank, our weapon of war, we will be the ones that united will make you work."

She smiled at you and for the first time in several days you felt as if something wasn't truly afraid of you.
>>
>>43508967
>Ask her how she feels and when is she going to be fully healed.

"How is your health status? Did I really hit you so hard?"

"Don't worry, its just that I have apparently inhaled a lot of smoke and promethium vapours and are trying to clean my system. It is a slow process but they are already ending it. I will be able to return to work tomorrow! I will help you guide those men and women and achieve peace among them and hell among our enemies."

You ended expending with her several hours, speaking about combat techniques and abilities. At the end, you didn't had more option but to call everybody to the training, you had returned and even if you were pretty scary looking you were the one who was afraid of having to confront all those warriors who right now disliked you so much.

The moment you enter into the training grounds a eerie silence forms and surrounds everybody like a mist. Everybody wants to talk, yet nobody cans.

Since you were augmented and left the hospital not many people had seen you and now that you were in front of them all a general sensation of shock had formed.

"I see that many people are angry at me for leaving the training...I understand it. But you should have seen it as both a test and a opportunity. Out there, in the battlefield you won't always have your commander to guide you, there might be chances in which you might find yourself alone and surrounded by enemies in all directions, I speak from the experience, for I was once inside a Space Hulk while surrounded by Heretics, Orks and Eldar for more than a month."

You showed them your hands.

"Those hands have been the cause of death of heretics, aliens and creatures from beyond. Both alone and accompanied I had to fight and choose on my own. You are disappointing with me? Well I am seriously disappointed with you all..."

You advanced among them until you were completely surrounded by Techpriests and Skitarii alike.

"As beings of flesh and blood we are flawed. I could have noticed my leave, indeed, but you had already received a class of training and knew how to do it. I was just a supervisor, you Skitarii were the true teachers, and you have failed me."

With that said you simply divided the techpriests in groups and assigned a couple of Skitarii to each like in the first time. Then the classes when surprisingly good. They all seemed to have agreed with you and decided to man up and act like the warriors that you wanted them to be, it was true that they were somewhat rusted, but still, they were your warriors.

The day ended happily but with a somewhat bitter end. As you headed to your batthub to sleep you discovered that, you didn't fitted inside anymore. You would have to do something about it.

Alright, I will end for today, as usual 30 minutes for questions and such.

Fuck, I have got it all wrong. This thread is number 77, whatever.

>Pic somewhat related, its how I imagine that his body looks now. Bizarre yet muscular and vaguely human looking.

We should really brush up on our skills again. Losing our technological abilities is a great loss for us.
>>
>>43509549

Agreed, I thought fixing stuff during the Work races would help keep our skills up to par
>>
>>43509549
>>43509665
Thing is that he is just rusty. He has a new body that he has to get used to and he hasn't been able to work on anything technologically related in years.

It's not like he's completely unable to work anymore.
>>
>>43509714

Makes sense, so it would be good to work on our fine motor skills before we reach Telematha
