Welcome to Saiyan Quest. This takes place shortly after the war against the Tuffles, as the Saiyans look for more foes to battle in the absence of their old enemies.

Voting will operate on a first to five system, at least for the time being.

Dialogue is allowed to be added to votes, as are actions (though I'll ignore what I consider shitposting)

During battles, options will usually have a number assigned to them. After that vote has won, players will roll a d100, and have three chances to match or beat that number.

If a 100 is rolled, it is considered a crit success (unless 100 was the number you had to match).

If a 1 is rolled, it is a crit failure, regardless of whether or not the other two rolls are high enough to succeed.

If, during a battle, players want to attempt a writein action, that is allowed, but I am the one who will assign the number to it, so use caution

You're a young male Saiyan who fought in the war with the Tuffles. You are an average fighter for now, but have the potential of one of the greatest warrior races to roam the universe flowing through your veins. There is no limit to what you can accomplish through blood, sweat, and tears.

The aliens are losing, and they seem to know it.

Their attacks become more frenzied and panicked as your fellow Saiyans, smelling blood in the water, swarm and relentlessly strike, overwhelming their more powerful foes with sheer numbers and ferocity.

Most of the airborne aliens have either been killed or forced to ground, though their leader continues to fight a losing battle against Nappa, despite his superior strength.

Not too far ahead of you, one of the enemy fighters blasts a group of Saiyans back, breathing heavily as he fights against exhaustion.

You extend your right hand toward the tired fighter, firing a blast of energy that catches him off-guard and strikes him in the face.

At your power level, it isn't enough to do any serious damage, but it hurts him and disorients him long enough for your fellow Saiyans to attack.

As he falls, the leader of your enemies is knocked from the sky. Looking up, you watch Nappa gather up his energy and fire a powerful blast down at his grounded foe.

The alien yells in shock before being struck by the blast, and the ground shakes with the impact. To your surprise, he picks himself back up.

However, he doesn't last long, as Nappa rushes down and punches the alien in the throat. Letting out a strangled gasp, he falls back and lands on the ground before being finished off by another blast from Nappa.

The aliens have been defeated.

With your enemies dead, you descend into one of the craters, approaching one of the large pods the aliens arrived in.

The vessel remains open, and you peak around inside. It isn't particularly roomy, but the seating looks comfortable enough. Coordinates seem to be locked in to the ship's computer, though you aren't sure if they're for here, or for wherever they came from.

You don't see anything of value, but you suppose Saiyan scientists can make use of these ships.

You decide to be a good little Saiyan and wait for orders from King Vegeta.

You step out of the crater, watching some of the Saiyans celebrate while others investigate the ships. Your scouter quickly alerts you to more power levels approaching, but they're so weak you immediately recognize them as the Arcosians.

Sure enough, one of their vessels soon lands close to the assembled Saiyans, and Emperor Polaron himself steps out, flanked by a dozen soldiers and followed by a group of Arcosians pushing large crates.

"King Vegeta," Emperor Polaron begins. "You and your warriors have far exceeded my expectations. In a single day, you conquered Planet Banassa. Its resources will serve my people well, and your people shall be well compensated for all that you have done."

He nods toward one of the Arcosians, who opens a crate to reveal countless scouters.

"We have mass-produced this device, as per your instructions," he explains. "And we have brought a great deal of money, as well. I believe this to be the start of a wonderful partnership between our peoples."

King Vegeta approaches the Emperor, and the pair shake hands.

Your fellow Saiyans erupt into cheers.

You approach the crate while everyone else celebrates.

Just as Polaron said, there are many scouters in the crate. They also seem to come in many colors; green, like yours, blue, red, pink, and purple.

You pull out one of the blue scouters, putting it on and activating it to make sure it works. Satisfied that it does, you step away from the crate.

The rest of the day is spent in celebration. The Arcosian people begin to arrive on planet in large groups, and they bring a great deal of drinks and some food. Naturally, you and your people help yourselves.

You decide to investigate the corpses of fallen aliens. Unfortunately, most of them have been eaten or destroyed.

You do, however, find one that seems relatively undisturbed. Searching the corpse, you find some sort of money on it, which you take for yourself.

All that remains is armor.

You remove it from the alien's corpse, and place it upon your body. It's not a perfect fit, but you should be able to move around in it just fine. And, hopefully it will protect you in your next battle.

You rejoin the party, talking with the other Saiyans about the battle that has just passed, and speculating on what the future will bring.

Tamas takes some time to get used to all of the Saiyans, and you make sure nobody tries to eat him. At the same time, you search for some food for yourself.

For several hours, everything is grand, and you enjoy your time with your fellow warriors. But, something soon happens.

Your scouter starts going nuts, struggling to read a power level.

You try to focus on the power level, but your scouter short-circuits and explodes in your face.

Looking around, you see many other Saiyans undergoing the same experience, looking around in confusion. At first you think that the Arcosians made shoddy scouters, but even King Vegeta, who had yet to get a new one, looks around in surprise after his own device explodes.

Gasps and murmurs surround you, and Tamas lets out a low growl as a shadow looms over all of you.

You look up into the sky, seeing a massive shape slowly descending toward the ground. The warriors look up in confusion as the shape gets closer and closer, revealing itself to be a large ship.

The craft touches down not far from the Saiyans and Arcosians, and as soon as it does, dozens, perhaps even hundreds of warriors dressed like the ones you and the other warriors just killed emerge from the craft.

From the top of the craft emerges a small hovercraft of some kind, atop which sits a small, horned creature with pink and white skin, and a tail. At his left stands a tall, green-haired alien with light blue skin and a cape. To his right stands a large, pink, spike-covered alien with a bald head.

King Vegeta steps to the front of the crowd, joined by Catseara and Nappa.

The airborne warriors part ways, giving room for the hovercraft to pass. The pink alien and the blue alien float by its side, eyeing your people with contempt.

"None of you are Banassans," the small alien in the hovercraft observes. "Saiyans and Arcosians on Banassa...what an interesting discovery. One that begs the question of what exactly you are doing here."

"And who's asking?" King Vegeta demands.

"Watch your tone!" the pink alien demands.

"Now, now, Dodoria, he doesn't mean any harm," the small alien placates. "It's a fair question."

He gives the king a mocking bow. "My name is Frieza. My associates and I are here because a group we sent to secure this planet went missing. Your work, I assume?"

"Yes," King Vegeta answers.

"That shouldn't be possible," the green-haired alien comments. "We scanned your planet, and none of you should have had the strength to take Banassa, much less our soldiers."

"We don't answer to you!" a warrior shouts from the back of the crowd.

Many other Saiyans roar in agreement.

Frieza chuckles. "Oh, this defiance is quite amusing. I don't believe you comprehend just how outmatched you are. I would advise you act a bit more polite towards those who could destroy you and your entire world without a thought."

"You arrogant-" Nappa starts before King Vegeta tells him to stop.

Other Saiyans, however, take to the air and rush towards the aliens.

As the other warriors rush towards the aliens, Dodoria steps forward, taking a deep breath and unleashing a blast of energy from his gullet.

Every last warrior is destroyed in an instant.
