The morning after your adventures in the great Arcosian temple during which you faced yourself, the monster within you really, and quite a few realizations about both yourself and the multiverse in which you've got to protect. A great power was unleashed inside of you, one that possibly dwarfs what even Frieza is capable of in his true form, as it stands now you might very well be the most powerful man in the universe... bit of a strange thought really for how long you've played second fiddle to your kin.

Looking to your side, Vegeta is still cuddled up next to you, the woman's tail curled around your leg keeping you pinned to the bed next to her. It's rare moments like this you actually appreciate how unique your situation is... this is Vegeta and yet she cares about you enough to allow you to see her in such a vulnerable situation like sleeping.

Resting back onto the pillow below your head, you're left staring up at the ceiling and thinking. Those dreams that had been haunting you for so long have pretty much stopped, but in exchange from that cryptic information you met Whis, a man who might be a straight up God. Now though Whis has left your company as well, he helped you through the trials and tribulations of the tests to aquire your power.

For the first time since you've started this whole quest for revenge thing, it appears as though all otherworld intervention has actually moved away from you, leaving the so called "Savior" with naught but his fists, his brain, and those he holds close... who is that aside from Vegeta though? The people back on Earth, your crew on the beach planet with Nappa? None of them come close to your power.

You've got the distinct feeling that the fate of the universe is going to rely on you for a while until you actually get the time to try to fix some of these problems... Goku did have that fancy Kaio... something techniqe that multiplied his power after all. There's also the Super Saiyan transformation, of which there is currently none in your universe, so far as you're aware. Vegeta, Nappa, Goku, Gohan, they've all got the potential for it, it's just a matter of bringing it out somehow.

Get a report from X; see how long we were in the temple, if we got any messages from anyone important, if there were any attempts to plumb the database of our ship, and if there were any ships or other individuals who landed on Arcosia. Arctus acquiring his transformation was probably the clearest and easiest step of his journey into power. Now he'll need to keep a finger on the pulse of the universe so he can figure out a plan of how to get rid of Frieza without pissing off the other members of the Cold Family, and without letting any of them know precisely how powerful he is now before Arctus is ready to move.

Also, time and space shenanigans can have a drastic effect on the passage of actual time.

Also, I've been thinking more on the subject of how to dispose of Frieza while not having to deal with Cold and Cooler screaming for Arctus' blood. Some things to consider:

Whis seemed to approve Arctus' idea of taking on Frieza at full power, so that he could show Cold that he could at the very least be a powerful successor. It could also make Cooler back off and reconsider his options. It was also thought that killing Frieza at his lower forms would probably make Cold and Cooler view Arctus as no more than a common thug murdering his rightful ruler (very bad).

Couching the whole "killing Frieza" thing in Arcosian ceremony might be a good idea since Cold is well-versed in such things, and it would add a degree of legitimacy to it. However, that alone won't be enough to prevent King Cold from murderizing the person who killed his 'princess'.

Thus, we may have to find a way to increase Arctus' position & esteem in Cold's eyes while making Frieza look like a huge chump, then challenge Frieza when his holdings and general approval rating with the Cold Family is in the toilet. Though this may be a very difficult thing to do, since the only thing that made King Cold VERY angry at Frieza was the extermination of the Arcosian race (and which Frieza was forgiven for eventually).

Been doing alright, all things considered. Been thinking hard about how to go about ruining Frieza enough for Arctus to act against him without raising the ire of King Cold or Cooler.

It kinda made me realize that Arctus' status as a part of the extended Cold Family ironically makes it harder for him to kill Frieza and get away with it. Being a monkey is hax. But in a way, it also provides an entire level of fun stuff to plot/plan and deal with that Goku will never know.

Deciding that food would be an appropriate way to start the morning, you reach over and grab hold of your scouter, bringing it close enough to use it without actually putting the thing on. Pinging your latest little creation, X is quick to respond with a series of beeps to signal it's recieving you. "Start on breakfast for me would you X? I'm gonna wake up the Princess and we'll be along shortly. When that's done, do me a favor and check to see how the security on the ship is holding up, anyone come around Arcosia, or important messages I've missed? Food comes first." When you finish talking the bot responds with more beeps that you understand as a conformation.

Maybe he can rule the Universe in your stead one day while you and Vegeta retire to a nice backwater planet with excellent food and alcohol... nah why would life ever be that easy.

Reaching over with the hand that isn't currently pinned under her, you start to rock Vegeta a bit, enough to make the woman aware to your existance and the waking world once more. "Hnng?" She responds to your shaking, reaching over and biting your finger with her eyes barely open.

"Not breakfast, but it's getting made, thought I'd wake you up for it while we decide what to do next." You explain to her while she's still waking herself up. The woman in turn smacks you on the chest playfully

The joys of living with a saiyan no? Food is the easiest way to get to their hearts, especially good food. That gives you a few ideas though, as to what your next move should be, or could be really.

When the two of you manage to get out of bed and make yourself slightly presentable for the sake of doing so, by the time you get to the dining area X has already produced a heafty looking breakfast, the tiny bot saluting on the table when it notices that you and Vegeta have arrived. Repeating the motion, X assumes it's at ease and goes off to take care of the other tasks it's been assigned.

While you and Vegeta are starting to dig into the food before you, that doens't mean you can't start talking.

Some problems with that approach:

Femgeta may not appreciate something like that. She's also probably a prudent enough fighter to recognize jobbing when she sees it. And Gohan watching that in the Pendulum room might not work like it did in Human Quest.

Cooler is almost 4x as strong as Frieza. While training may close that gap kind of quickly, we will need to make him hesitate on acting quickly. If we can keep him in his Cold War mindset (no pun intended), the better it will be for Arctus. But seeing Arctus rise up as a potential threat out of nowhere may already encourage him to be more proactive.

If we assume that King Cold can transform, he may have enough power in his final form to be a legit threat to Goku & Vegeta at the end of DBZ. He's also nowhere near as complacent as he was in DBZ, and may be old enough to have lived through the eras where Majin Buu & Beerus were first active. He did know enough about them to advise his sons to leave well enough alone when Buu or Beerus was involved.

Using your scounter to produce a holographic keyboard, you begin to plug in a variety of numbers and letters, when it's finally finished you open up a comm channel with X once again. "X I'm sending you the coordinates for our next destination, go ahead and get us out of here. Send me whatever data you've collected as well from your search."

When orders are finished the bot once again gives an affirmative, and you've soon got data flying across your scouter. There are a few reports of some skirmishes along the border beween the PTO and the Emperium, but that's usual standards when it comes to dealing with your 'hated rivals' across the reaches of space.

Other than that things have been rather slow, you were in the temple for the better part of half a day though time went by much quicker for you, so things mostly haven't had enough time to change. King Cold still believes you to be on vacation, and there's been no contact from Cooler or Frieza either, but they never contact you unless it's a very important job that needs doing and the Ginyu Force or the Armored Squadron isn't up to snuff.

First plan when you're God Emperor of the universe is to impose mandatory posing classes for special military groups across the space time thingy.

With the trip to Earth planned and ready, the major thing now is actually passing time in the week it's going to take you to get there.

There are a few projects you could do in the meantime while waiting.

As far as the scouter problem goes, we can work out a rough stop-gap measure using ki-sense. Like memorizing how a certain power level feels like, then comparing it.

As far as techniques go, I think it might be handy to work on a strong eye-blast/eye-beam of some sort.

Most of the week you spend working on reverting back to your original form, because hey as much as you like this new one and as natural as it feels, you know that losing control for a moment will make you quite the power beacon, that and if you talk to another member of the cold family while you're still like this it could lead to quite a bit of trouble.

Over the course of around five days you manage to sort of figure out how to force yourself back down into your prior form, it requires relaxation, steady breathing, and concentration, but soon enough while meditating you actually manage to pull it off.

After several days of appearing so different to yourself, seeing the normal you once again is sort of strange, but it's welcome.

Vegeta didn't really get it since your power has regressed back down to around three million in this form, but that's still more than enough to deal with any problems that could come along your way while on Earth, and it's not like you've locked yourself out of your new form, re-attaining it is as simple as powering up and forcing it to come back to the peak.

The rest of the time, the parts you didn't spend with Vegeta at least, it was a lot of working on making a voice subroutine for X, and after a while you think you managed to find one that you like quite a bit, and the bot does as well once you've installed it.

"Thank you sir! This is a great honor!" He says with a salute, which you return.

By the time you arrive at Earth though, the time for sleep has passed and it's time to get ready. You didn't actually announce that you were coming back so it was probably going to be a surprise for Bulma and the bunch, and by the time you're breaking through the atmosphere, once again heading towards a deserted rocky wasteland, you can feel various powers coming your way, though they aren't there by your landing.

Piccolo dismesses the question with a "Hnn." But it's evident that he's been working hard as well from his increased resting power.

From what you hear from Goku though, he and Gohan, with Piccolo there as well sometimes, have been rapidly growing in strength. Taking you a bit to the side away from Gohan and Vegeta, it seems like Goku wants to talk, but he's sort of struggling with the words for what he wants to say.

That's not true. Goku has a really good bit of rural knowledge. He can hunt and fish and farm really well. Heck, I think Super had him take a plow job and driving farm equipment.
He might not be super book smart, but the dude isn't stupid.

"Sure thing Goku, I planned on doing that anyways." You say to the taller man giving him a clasp on his shoulder. "Besides, I owe you another match don't I? You, Me, Gohan, and 'Geta can all train together, I've got the power but my basics are still sloppy after all."

Goku seems to be incredibly happy with what you've offered him. "Great! Chi shouldn't even mind having you around, since you can teach Gohan some fancy space stuff, this is gonna be awesome!"

"One request though if you don't mind Goku." You stop him in the middle of his celebration. "Do you think you could teach Vegeta and I the Kaioken? That's a very strong technique you've got, and it seems like it'd be incredibly useful in just about any situation in a fight."

When you've made your request, Goku rubs at the back of his neck again "Oh jeez... I dunno, I'd have to ask King Kai about that one. He said I was the only one who ever learned it properly, you might not be able to, but we can still give it a shot!"

As the two of you start to talk about working on a training regimine of some sort together, you notice some small ship landing incredibly close by, and Lo and Behold who would emerge but your favorite blue haired woman in the galaxy.

"I can't believe none of you came to get me! Leaving me behind for something like this, jerks, the lot of you!" Bulma fumes as she stomps out of her copter, before noticing you nearby and squeeling in delight, rushing over and throwing herself into your arms and hugging you tightly

"Arctus!" She happily exclaims, while you can see Vegeta looking at you with Gohan next to her.
