Welcome to Saiyan Quest. This takes place shortly after the war against the Tuffles, as the Saiyans look for more foes to battle in the absence of their old enemies.

Voting will operate on a first to five system, at least for the time being.

Dialogue is allowed to be added to votes, as are actions (though I'll ignore what I consider shitposting)

During battles, options will usually have a number assigned to them. After that vote has won, players will roll a d100, and have three chances to match or beat that number.

If a 100 is rolled, it is considered a crit success (unless 100 was the number you had to match).

If a 1 is rolled, it is a crit failure, regardless of whether or not the other two rolls are high enough to succeed.

If, during a battle, players want to attempt a writein action, that is allowed, but I am the one who will assign the number to it, so use caution

You're a young male Saiyan who fought in the war with the Tuffles. You are an average fighter for now, but have the potential of one of the greatest warrior races to roam the universe flowing through your veins. There is no limit to what you can accomplish through blood, sweat, and tears.

For the past few hours, you have worked with the alien feline you captured in the jungle. While Soko killed and prepared the other creatures to be eaten, you continued working with your new pet.

Progress is not very rapid, but the creature has at least ceased its attempts to flee from you.

Soko watches you work with the creature, a look of barely-hidden disgust on his face.

"So, are you going to name it?"

You join Soko by the fire, and the two of you make quick work of the felines he's killed. Tamas eats his fill of his own meal, then curls up beside it and goes to sleep.

"So, what's the point of keeping that thing as a pet?" Soko asks before devouring a cat leg.

Soko spits out some hair from the creature he just ate, getting to his feet and looking at you like you're nuts.

"We're in a war here, and you decided to see if you could play with a cat," he comments. "You really aren't right in the head, are you?"

You hear roars in the distance, roars you can only vaguely remember from dreams and memories you can barely call to mind. Your scouter begins going haywire, and you instinctively turn it off before it short-circuits.

"Well, looks like it's time to get started," Soko tells you, flying above the trees.

You pick up your sleeping pet and run through the forest, not stopping until you come across a cave.

After scanning to make sure there's nothing inside that could potentially harm Tamas, you decide to leave him there, placing him down inside before heading towards the spot where the Saiyans previously gathered. Tossing your scouter aside, you join in the fun.

You rise above the trees and look into the sky, spotting a full moon illuminating the area. You also spot dozens of apelike creatures trampling through the forest towards the nearest city.

You feel a jolt go through your body, and your muscles begin to pulse and expand. Your chest grows and your clothes tear as you grow taller and taller, soon towering above the trees.

You feet touch the ground, and you let out an echoing roar as you begin marching towards the city with your friends.

You break off from the main group and head for the further city, taking to the air in order to make the trip a faster one.

You land with a loud crash outside of the city, and see swarms of Banassan warriors flying in your direction. What's more, you see a bunch of strange looking things with dark green skin, two large red eyes, small gray antennae, and oddly shaped heads come flying at you, though they're far more quiet than the Banassan warriors.

Going off on our own while still injured to shit was probably a bad idea but the power boost we get when we properly rest is going to be so sweet.

You open your mouth wide, and a massive beam of light explodes from your gullet, streaking across the night sky towards your oncoming opponents.

A few of them gasp or scream before the light engulfs them, continuing towards the city and creating a great explosion that topples several buildings.

The light fades, and nothing remains of the foes you destroyed. Letting out a howl, you beat your chest victoriously.

The Banassans aren't done, however, and they come by the hundreds, surrounding you and preparing to attack.

You look at your opponents and let out a mighty roar, holding your arms out above your head and forming a V with them.

Energy explodes from your body and shoots off in all directions, incinerating the majority of your foes and sending the few that remain somewhat intact crashing to the ground below.

You step forward into the city, the buildings you knocked out of the way temporarily making the path wider for you. You hear alarms going off throughout the city, and screams of terror.

However, you also hear battle cries as the Banassan Warriors prepare for battle.

You stop where you are, your ears alerting you to nearly everything happening in the city. Children and the elderly are fleeing from you, while countless warriors prepare to attack.

You hear dozens coming up on your right, and you turn, opening your mouth wide and blasting them into ashes. More buildings collapse from the explosion caused by your blast, and hundreds, perhaps even thousands, join the body count.

You look in front of yourself again to find more coming, and eradicate most of them with another mouth blast. However, a few manage to get out of the way and rush at you, firing blasts of energy that do absolutely nothing to you as they hit.

Roaring, you backhand a trio of Banassan Warriors, sending them flying out of sight before you swat the remaining three down, letting them crash and die on the ground in front of you.

More come from your left, and you quickly see to it that they suffer the same fate as their comrades.

Fires rage all around you, and panicked Banassans try their best to flee, though most remain and attempt to fight.

A bright light from above gets your attention, and you look up to see those strange creatures that were fighting alongside the Banassans hovering in the air, hands reaching towards you. There seems to be nearly a hundred of them, and all of their hands glow.

You raise one of your massive arms to shield yourself as the strange creatures fire beams of energy down at you. Each blast feels like little more than a bee sting, but it's still not a pleasant sensation, and you let out an angry roar before attacking.

Your mouth opens wide, and you begin firing blasts of energy, wiping out the strange creatures by the dozens until only a handful remain.

The survivors charge down at you, but you swat them out of the sky, watching them explode when they hit the ground, and chunks of them litter the streets.

The Banassan Warriors who were coming to attack you stop short at this display, and more than half of them turn and flee from you. You take a step forward, squashing several beneath your foot, and reach own, grabbing some kind of vehicle and hurling it at some of the fleeing aliens. You howl as the vehicle lands atop a trio of them, exploding and killing the three, as well as injuring a few more.

The enemy forces are in disarray, with most fleeing and those that remain too weak and few in number to stop you now.

As scores of Banassans attempt to flee the destruction of their city, you open your mouth wide and fire mighty blasts of energy that destroy them by the hundreds.

Explosions around the city light up the night, and the screams of your victims assail your ears. Your rampage does not remain a solitary event for long, however, as soon many of your fellows join in the assault.

The remainder of the night is spent destroying every settlement you can find, and soon, much like the Tuffles, the Banassans are wiped out.

The next morning finds pretty much everyone waiting in line outside of the rockets for clothing. It seems King Vegeta had the foresight to bring spare for everyone, which spares you and your fellow warriors from having to go around naked all the time.

Soon, you find yourself fitted with clothing and are free to do as you wish.

You head back into the forest, moving towards the spot where you abandoned your scouter. You can feel yourself beginning to make a slow recovery from the previous battles, and aren't sure whether to attribute that to the energy your great ape form gave you. In any case, you don't feel half-dead at the moment, and luckily, your scouter doesn't seem to have been tampered with.

Using your scouter, you're able to find your way to the cave where you left Tamas, and find the feline napping inside.

You begin to approach him, when your scouter alerts you to high power levels approaching.

There are more than two dozen of them, each with a power level over a thousand. The weakest is at 1500, and the strongest is at 2500. According to your scouter, they are somewhere in the sky above and descending fast.

Soon, you hear several loud crashes in the distance, and your scouter alerts you to several Saiyans, including the King, heading in that direction.

Tamas wakes up, looking around in confusion.

We're supposed to be part of a race of bloodthirsty, fight-loving barbarians. We should go to where there is gonna be a fight.

You grab Tamas and step out of the cave, taking to the air and flying as fast as you can towards the power levels on your scouter as your pet struggles in your grip.

You soon see your fellows gathering around a series of craters, at the bottom of which sit strange, white orbs. The orbs are quite large in size, and your scouter tells you that the power levels are coming from inside of them.

Most of the Saiyans have gathered now, including King Vegeta, Catseara, and Nappa. Hundreds of your kind surround the craters, staring down at the strange orbs, which slowly open, revealing an odd assortment of aliens.

The first one you spot, with a power level of 2,000 has purple red skin covered in black spots, and an octopus-like head. He looks up at you and the other Saiyans in confusion.

You watch other creatures rise from the craters; one is a female that looks a lot like a tailless Saiyan, with a power level of 1800 who seems to have some sort of blaster strapped to her right arm. Another is a teal-skinned, crocodile-like creature with a similar weapon and a power level of 2000.

The one that catches your attention the most, however, has a power level of 2500. He is tall and muscular, with light blue skin and three-small horns on his head. He has a scar over his left eye, and black hair along with a bushy beard.

"What's this?" he demands. "You lot aren't Banassans."

"No, we aren't," King Vegeta confirms, stepping forward.

"We are the Saiyans," Catseara adds. "And we just killed every last Banassan on this planet."

"What?" the blue-skinned alien demands.

"Uhh...Feijoa, what should we do?" the crocodile-like creature asks nervously.

"Our orders are the same as before!" Feijoa snaps. "We're to take this planet, and kill anyone who stands in our way."

"Then go ahead and try it!" Nappa challenges.

Throw Tamas in the middle, spooking everyone into starting a firefight.

You choose to remain silent, while a few other Saiyans make their support for Nappa known.

Feijoa snorts, thrusting his hand towards Nappa and firing a blast of energy. The large Saiyan yells, firing a blast of his own to intercept it. The two blasts collide in a large explosion, and several of the aliens rise into the air, firing energy blasts down at you and the others while the woman and crocodile-like alien fire their guns.

Dozens of Saiyans are dead in seconds, and Nappa rushes toward Feijoa, throwing a punch that catches the blue-skinned alien in the face. Feijoa kicks Nappa in the gut and elbows him in the face, knocking the large Saiyan back.

You hold your hands out, firing a pair of energy blasts that streak towards the two warriors on the ground.

Your aim is perfect, and the blasters on their arms are destroyers, the small explosion this results in disorienting the two fighters, and allowing them to fall victim to a volley of attacks from your fellow Saiyans.

Up above, Nappa continues to clash with Feijoa, seeming to have the upper hand as he forces his opponent on the defensive in the face of brutal assaults.

Catseara slams her leg into a warrior's throat, breaking her foe's neck and sending the lifeless body crashing to the ground. King Vegeta casually blasts another fighter out of the sky, and the two on the ground soon fall in the face of your people's onslaught.

This battle seems like it will be over soon.

A few Saiyans realized it was you that pretty much single-handedly wiped out that Banassan city, so you have a bit of a reputation among your fellow warriors for that. And many approve of what you just did to sabotage the two soldiers.

King Vegeta knows you exist. He sees you as a mere low level, but one that might be intelligent enough to make a useful servant.
