And so, we meet with the rpoter in a rather nice café downtown. It is a rather high class place, but not so much as to be considered snobbish. Well, to begin with, Newhope its a small city si there's simply not enough people for places to cater to too specific a group unless its the common everyday type.

This is a nice place. You can come by from time to time and enjoy a good meal and service with your family or friends. That's the kind of feeling it gives.

Since they were off duty right now, both Cedric and Elliezabella were wearing normal clothes. Cedric was wearing a cuit (not a particularly expensive one, but it did fit him very nicely) while Ellie was wearing a very girly looking miniskirt and a turtle neck sweater.

Well, honestly, the weather is quite cold right now, but it doesn't seems to bother her at all.

The reporter himself was wearing the same suit he was wearing in the morning. These are probably his work clothes, right?

"Thanks for agreeing to see me." -he says
"It seems you made quite a fuss, so the sergeant asked us to, himself." -Cedric said while shaking the reporter's hand
"Ah, sorry about that." -he says with a smile. He doesn't looks very sorry at all

He introduces himself as Thomas Flowers, a reporter for the HOUND News network. Now that some time has passed since the arrival of the otherworld immigrants, a new group of them has been discovered, or so it seems.

Since Ellie is one of the better known cases of integration from among the elves, he wanted to talk with her since the audience was likely to remember her face.

Somehow, the elves seem to have stayed away from the entertainment industry, you know?

"I'll explain when we are home." -says Cedric
"Alright."

They have some of their coffee and treats. Ellie is enjoying a slice of chocolate cake, while Cedric is having a hot cheese and ham sandwich.

The reporter, mister Flowers, is not having anything to eat, just the coffee.

"Then, that would make the goblins into stowaways?" -he asks
"Ah, who would have thought we would end up bringing those pests into the new world. I feel so ashemed." -says Ellie
"Settlers bringing bugs with them into new lands? I am sure that has never happened, right?" -says Cedric in a tone that is a sigh, while looking at the reporter
"Right... but pests, uh? are they disease carriers?"

"Congress? jokes aside, that does sound pretty bad, but segregating them... that will be a very controversial idea."
"Why?" -Ellie asked in a completely innocent manner while twitching her ears

Both men look at eachother, wondering how to explain this to the new comer...

"Ah, humans tend to do stupid things, like decide this or that group of people are bad because their skin color is different from theirs. I'm sure your people wouldn't do that, right?"

Elliezabella thinks of a certain group of elves... but she doesn't dare say anything.

"Well, I guess I will try and pull some strings to invite the researchers and the staff taking care of the goblins to give their opinions on camera."
"Actually, the elven elders were hoping for that, as well. Maybe Ellie could arrange a meeting between you and them?"
"Oh! that would be great. Could you do that, miss?"
"Yes" -she says simply while covering her mouth with a hand.

Well, her mouth's full of chocolate cake right now.

"Please take my card, then. It has my contact information, including twitter and phone number."

Cedric receives it and stores it away. The rest of the interview was more normal than that, with mr flowers asking Ellie about her job and every day life, how her community had reacted to her wedding, all the things you would expect him to.

Well, he was a bit forceful in order to get this interview, but he doesn't seem like a bad person.

Now that we have a few hours free, what should we do?

A little bit into the movie, she's giggling and trying to keep quiet after realizing the monsters are people in suits.

Ah, I wanted her to think they were real, and ask something about dragons, but we do have a tv at home, so the concept isnt that hard to her.

Ellie had a fun time at the movies. The actors were so serious and ... bad, that the movie was extremely funny from start to end.

"Japan must be a very funny place"
"I think they actually take themselves quite seriously, you know?"
"I thought they were having fun in the movie."
"No, no, they don't think that way at all..."
"That sort of makes it funnier."
"Don't ever let me take you to japan" -sighs Cedric, and gives her a little kiss before starting the truck

On the way home, they stop by a minimarket to buy some fresh milk and some doggie treats, then finally make it back and relax together on the couch.

Cedric hugs her and pulls her down unto it with himself so she's lying on top of him while they kiss.

Ah, this is really comfy, isn't it? one could get addicted to it.

Of course, the puppy is doing its best trying to climb unto the couch to play with mommy and daddy. Any day now, she'll have no problem doing so.

*smooch* "Do you want to do anything before bed?" -asks Ellie
"I could go to sleep like this" -answers Cedric with a smile as he gently rubs his wife's back

*whine* the puppy keeps trying to climb up

"This weekend, we'll take the elders hunting. At some point during the week, they should get their hunting permits."
"I'll call them and let them know" -she says
"Alright" -he kisses her- "What do you want for dinner?"
"Sphaghetti and meat balls"
"As you wish. But first, let's stay like this for a little longer..." -he kisses her again-
"..alright" -she says smiling
