Exhausted as you are, you sleep in quite late. By the time you wake up, you have scarcely over an hour before your meeting with the Tsuchikage. You get up and eat breakfast quickly, then leave the Bakutsugi mansion along with Neji. Outside, you find Kurotsuchi waiting for you. She escorts the two of you just outside of the Tsuchikage's office, where you all stop.

"We should be called inside in a couple of minutes." Kurotsuchi says. "I'll come with you just to see if I can help out. Oh, but he'll probably try and chat a bit before you get to say your piece."

"I think I'll remain out here." Neji tells you, leaning against the wall. "I doubt having me with you would be doing you any favors."

Neji's right, if he came along the Tsuchikage would more than likely just give him a hard time.

"Yeah, that's probably for the best." you respond. "Keep an eye out just in case this is secretly a trap."

Neji rolls his eyes at your joke and goes off to a corner of the room. You think you can see him wobbling just a bit, so he might be doing his special training again.

After a few minutes, you're called into the Tsuchikage's office. The small old man is sitting behind his desk awaiting your arrival.

"Welcome, Kon." he greets you. "I hope you've found the Village Hidden in the Stone to be appropriately accommodating. The Bakustugi clan are all quite hospitable, so I'm sure you've been having a marvelous time."

After returning the Tsuchikage's greeting he goes on.

"I'm very curious about the impression my village has given off to you." Onoki makes a more serious face now. This clearly isn't just making small talk, he wants to judge you by your thoughts. "Tell me Kon, what do you think about my village?"

I've felt very welcome here, both my family and the others, but I can sense some suspicion of me among the senior members of the Clan, I suppose I can understand why, alot has happened in the past between our villages. "Sometimes" there is safety in old habits. This village seems to have a warm heart, but its body is so guarded for most outsiders it would be misconceived

You think for a while on your answer. You have many things you want to say, but need to say them in the right way.

"I've certainly been enjoying my visit." you start. "The Stone has it's good and bad points, much like the Leaf, but I've never felt more welcome. The Bakustugi clan has almost become like a second home. I could never have imagined that they would be so welcoming when I first learned of my origins. Though some of the older clan members seem a bit wary of me. It seems like in this village, old habits die hard."

The Tsuchikage mulls over your response before turning around in his chair and looking out the window behind him.

"I'm glad you're enjoying yourself, Kon." he begins. "You know, in this village we have our own monument, like your Hokage Mountain. It's a bit more modest however, just a simple stone. When I was a young lad like yourself I didn't think much of it, but my grandfather, the First Tsuchikage told me what it really meant. That stone is the heart of our village. It represents our unwavering and immovable will. No matter what comes our way, we will stand firm in our convictions. Ever since, I've held that ideal close to me, and my village has been able to prosper. But, you might be a bit young to understand."

If I may Sir, that Stone Monument is the core of this village, a representation of all you said. But I also feel it could be more, it could be the Key Stone to something more. it is simple and unmovable, yet what if it could do more? These simple pure ideals are what all nations strive for. I may be a little young sir but I believe that if we are too rooted in the superstitions of old we may never change, we will stagnate and grow apart from the world, more a witness to it than a part of it.

This Village is one of the Great Five, and in my opinion one of the most secure and seemingly prosperous. but my Lord alone here, in this blissful range you will become a remenant of the past, the sun may set on the past but a new day brings new chances and the Stone remains, give use a chance to move forward together?

The Tsuchikage's beliefs do resonate with you. You recall being taught similarly.

"No, I understand completely, Lord Tsuchikage." you reply. "My master, the Third Hokage, imparted a belief onto me as well. The Will of Fire. The belief that we have to protect future generations who will bring prosperity to the village. As long as the Will of Fire keeps burning, the village will continue to prosper."

The Tsuchikage turns back around to face you, with an eyebrow raised as you go on.

"That's why I think you may be taking your conviction a bit too far." you continue. "After all, in time even stones shift, and are eroded by wind, rain, and water. A stone has to change, but that's not a bad thing. Just as people are shaped over time."

"Hmph." the Tsuchikage snorts, rubbing his beard. "You indeed must have been trained by Sarutobi. I've often heard the same sentiment from him. Though you wouldn't expect it from the terror he wrought on the battlefield. Moving on to the main topic, you wish to see more cooperation between villages, correct? While the idea is tempting, I have my doubts. Any such relation before has only led to betrayal. Even one as young as you has experienced it. I trust you remember the Sand? My own people put their trust in me to guide them. I cannot so easily believe that outsiders have their best interests at heart. There is a reason that I haven't given away this position in over sixty years. The younger generation can't handle the burden of carrying this village on their backs. So I continue. And with all my experience, I deem such an alliance unwise."

You can see Kurotsuchi getting irritated. She's likely restraining from butting into the conversation.

>A.I don't think keeping your village isolated is wise either

>>43377364
>D. I was capable of fighting tailed beasts as a Chunin, but there was a single, rather glaring flaw that kept me from being a Jonin for years. I was under the belief that I had to do everything myself, finish any job presented to me until my body gave out. And it did, several times, and it put me and my teammates in danger. When I fought Kakuzu, I was so focused on winning the battle that I didn't even hesitate to fire my jutsu through my own squadmate...it was the biggest mistake I've made. And no offense, but I think that that stubbornness to a fault came from my father's side of the family.
>>
Fuck, this is a make or break moment and i got nothing
>>
>>43377555
We just gotta show him that they're is a bigger threat then old grudges.

We got a terrorist group that is using super-weapons for an unknown purpose against the villages. We need every village united or we die.
>>
>>43377364
>D. Other

I'm not sure how it works in the Stone, but a Team of Ninja is comprised of multiple members, whilst one leads, he must learn to trust his teammates to finish their assigned roles.

You mentioned the Sand, I had to fight Shukaku, the Bijuu of the Sand during the aftermath of the Chuunin exams. If I had done that alone, I would have surely been killed, a Ninja must learn to trust his teammates, and not try to do everything himself. Surely that can be extrapolated to the Leaders of the Villages too?

Sometimes threats to the villages will just be too big for one person to take the burden. Say Akatsuki attack with one of the beasts they captured. Maybe you could stop it yourself. But if you don't learn to trust your villagers, they probably won't be able to deal with other problems without you.
>>
>>43377364
>A.I don't think keeping your village isolated is wise either
i don't know their long term plans but with the war potential Akatsuki is gathering are you confident that your village will be able to weather this coming storm alone.
all the villages know the kind of devastation a single tailed beast can unleash would you really want to leave that power in the hands of single group unchallenged, i've fought a tailed beast before, but the idea of fighting nine of them fills me with dread.
lastly with just the Rinnegan user and the tailed bests they have already gathered they likely already have enough power to annihilate any single village without much trouble, and that is just likely the tip of what we know of their power.
>>
>>43377364
>C. I see what you mean, but you can be an ally without making yourself vulnerable

"I am not offering a perpetual alliance or anything of that nature. I'm not sure I'd even have the authority. But we can work together for the common good of both our villages.”

“The danger that Akatsuki represents if they gather all of the tailed beasts is obvious. Such power under a group who are mercenary at best and criminal at worst is dangerous to all villages. As such, surely it can be recognised that an alliance to take down Akatsuki is in the best interests of both our villages. Such an alliance carries little danger for the people of either village, but many benefits.”

(Basically, instead of going full talk-no-jutsu, try to appeal to his realist side.)
>>
>>43377364
>D
I can understand your sentiment my Lord, but might I make a suggestion? Let the people of the Village decide, form a bare bones alliance with the Leaf and enable our Sinobi to work together and slowly over time they will learn to trust again. The Sand betray my village to once, but I believe that not accepting what has happened and moving on forever we will be stuck in the past, never leaving the old hates and grudges behind.

Lord is there anything I could do to show you that the Leaf really does mean well and that together we could build a better future, one where the young don't die in war leaving grieving families, one where war wont force families apart. If we never open up to each other we will never move forward, because if we want to, we must do it together.

And i'm sure your aware the Akatski are growing stronger, whatever they are planning or weapon they intend to unleash, it will strike us all down in time, and when that time comes we will look back and wish we took the chance for good when we had it.

End the Old hate and grudges, let us move to this new era together.
>>
>>43377364
>D. Lord Tsuchikage, one of the hardest lessons I had to learn was that I didn't have to do everything on my own. I would hunt down until my body gave out, fight with everything I had, try to pace myself so I would have enough chakra to win whatever battle was ahead of me. I collapsed from exhaustion several times in the field, having no regard for my own limits, believing that my own life wasn't worth failing my principles. Trying to keep pushing even when I didn't have anything to push with. But I eventually realized that I couldn't do everything on my own. That I needed help from time to time didn't make me weaker. It made me wiser.

>The Akatsuki are a threat no one village can hope to overpower on its own, but we don't have to. They're a threat to all the villages. The Leaf, the Stone, the Cloud, the Sand, and the Mist. I believe that, working together, we can overcome any obstacle.
>>
>>43377364
>D. Even the Sand Village's betrayal was more a result of the Akatsuki than anything. It became apparent in the midst of the invasion that the Sand village had been manipulated by Orochimaru, one of the Sannin, and Sasori of the Red Sand. It was to satisfy Orochimaru's hatred for the village and capture the Sand Village Jinchuuriki, Gaara.
>>
You think hard about your response. What you say now may very well determine the course of the future for relations between the two villages. While you'd like the Tsuchikage to turn a new leaf, you decide that an outcome that cements chances for further progress is more important.

"I see what you mean, Lord Tsuchikage, but you can be an ally without making yourself vulnerable." you begin. "I'm not suggesting we create a perpetual alliance or anything, I can't decide such a thing anyway. We just need to have our shinobi work together for a common goal. The Akatsuki is by far the greatest threat to any village. With a Rinnegan wielder and six tailed beasts, they could likely take out any village they wished already. An alliance between the villages is necessary, we could never fight them alone. As long as Akatsuki keeps operating, we are all in danger. By pooling our talented shinobi, we can prevent a catastrophe before it occurs. We all know can devastating a single tailed beast can be. If they manage to gather all nine, the result will be far beyond the capability of any village to handle."

The Tsuchikage considers your words.

"You do have a point, young man." he says. "They are getting to be quite the worry. I dismissed the Rinnegan as a risk I would not be willing to face, but if they come for the village, the result would not be good for us. I suppose taking them out is in the interest of us all. I will dedicate some shinobi of this village to the cause. However, cohesion is likely to suffer. But it is only temporary. Once Akatsuki is dealt with, our alliance shall end."

At this, Kurotsuchi steps forward.

"That doesn't solve the problem, old man!" she shouts. "If we just go back to how things were, the village is going to suffer! You can't even consider that we could cooperate peacefully? Kon and the others from the Leaf have had no problems! If we stay holed up in our little corner, the world is going to move ahead without us!"

"I don't need you talking back to me, young lady!" the Tsuchikage shouts back. "I was referring to you, you know? You're supposed to succeed me, but you have no idea what a Kage has to deal with! You can't bear the burden of carrying village. As a Kage, you're responsible for the well being of all your villagers! You have to be wary of any threat to tham, even other people! You can pretend to get along with other villages, but they won't look after your people! It's up to you to do it yourself!"

"Yeah, right! You say you look after all the villagers, but what about Han and Roshi?" Kurotsuchi responds. "They were part of this village too, but you just left them to their own devices and it got them killed!"

"There were more important things at stake!" the Tsuchikage retorts. "As a Kage you need to make difficult decisions! Two men don't outweigh the needs of my village!"

"And now the village is in danger because of that decision!" Kurotsuchi yells back.

The situation is extremely headed. Kurotsuchi and her grandfather are at each other's throats.

Ask the Tsuchikage if we can take Kurotsuchi aside to talk to her privately for a moment.

Keeping her in this situation is not good for the potential alliance, or their personal relationship. Both need to calm the fuck down.
>>
>>43378170
>D. It doesn't matter. It's in the past and nothing we say can change it. We need to stop this from happening in the future, stop close mindedness from ruining chances to become greater, stop reluctance and arrogance from destroying the future we want for the ninja world. The Kage should be busy looking after their villagers, yes, but the villagers should be looking out for each other and those around them.
>The Stone has made some mistakes with the Akatsuki and their jinchuuriki, but so has the Leaf. This alliance is to fix those problems and stop similar things from happening again. It may not be a permanent alliance, but it also doesn't have to be a temporary one.

You're both being idiots. Kuro, the Tsuchikage has had to live through at least Two Shinobi wars, of course it's going to be difficult to trust other villages. Likewise Tsuchikage, if you can't share the burden of protecting your village with the people themselves, you're only weakening them for when Kurotsuchi takes over.

>>
>>43378170
>D. Kurotsuchi, perhaps instead of complaining about the decision he made, you could try and understand why he made it. I don't agree with his decision, but at the same time I can't fault him for making it. The Rinnegan is not a weapon to challenge lightly, and challenging them would result in dozens, if not hundreds of casualties. Think about your own friends here. How many of them would have died, if the Tsuchikage sent them to fight?
>>
>>43378430
I think the decision she's talking about was the one to keep Han and Roshi in the wilderness instead of accommodating them in the village
>>
>>43378466
Which again is understandable, if not the one we would have made. There is reasoning behind his decisions, and she is blatantly refusing to try and find it.
>>
You have to calm them down somehow. This situation is not only bad for a potential alliance, but for their relationship.

"It doesn't matter. It's in the past and there's nothing we can do to change it." you start, as the two of them stop to look in your direction. "The Tsuchikage made the decision that he felt was best, and things didn't work out. The Leaf has made mistakes regarding its Jinchuuriki as well. The fact is that we ended up having to cooperate against Akatsuki regardless. This alliance is our opportunity to fix any mistakes that may have been made before. Kurotsuchi, even if you don't agree with the Tsukage's decisions, they're still worthy of respect. You should just be learning from him, so you can make the right decisions in the future. Lord Tsuchikage, I know you've been through a lot, but even a Kage can't do everything on their own. I know I've had to face my limits several times. What's important is having other people to rely on when there are things you can't do. I think with this alliance, we can prove ourselves to you."

Kurotsuchi backs off. She looks a bit calmer, but still irritated.

"Sorry, I need to excuse myself." she says as she leaves the room.

The Tsuchikage turns to you.

"Kon, you're a fine young man, and I have faith in you. You're like your father." he starts. "But relying on other villages is not something I can so easily do. However I will try, for now. You have my cooperation."

The meeting over, you leave the office to find Neji outside.

"I saw Kurotsuchi leave in a hurry." he remarks. "Did the meeting go well?"

Though it certainly could have gone better, the result was better than you expected. It was easily worth coming here for.

"It went alright. We're not at war, anyway." you say with a grin. "The Tsuchikage agreed to a temporary alliance until Akatsuki is no longer a threat. He seemed unwilling to foster further relations with the Leaf, but hopefully we can sway him. Kurotsuchi was upset about his stubbornness though, so she left to go cool off, I guess. They are at odds with their methods, but they have the interest of their village at heart."

"Well, I'd say that's good news." Neji responds. "Without you, we may have been facing Akatsuki on our own. And I'd appreciate all the help we can get. You did a fine job. I'm sure the Leaf will surely come to value you as a diplomat in addition to your combat potential. Regardless, we'll be able to return and inform the Hokage of a job well done. I don't think we should dally. Let's leave tomorrow. We have another mission soon, after all. And this one may be even more important."

You decide that it'd be a good idea to check on Kurotsuchi. Maybe you can help her talk things out. Neji decides to leave you to it, and heads to the Bakutsugi mansion by himself.

It only takes you a few minutes to find Kurotsuchi, she didn't go far. You find her laying on the grass in a small park nearby. As you approach, she sits up.

"You came after me, huh Kon?" she asks with a smirk. "Sorry about blowing up in there. Ever since the whole situation with the Jinchuuriki, I've been butting heads with my grandfather. Maybe I'm just being stupid though. He's been Tsuchikage for over four times longer than I've been alive. Maybe I'm just wrong, and I don't have what it takes to be Tsuchikage. Maybe he should just give it to someone else. At least then it's not my problem anymore. After all, what do I know? I'll just keep following orders then."

Kurotsuchi sighs and lays back down with her hands behind her head.

You'll be different kinds of kages. There's no such thing as an absolute right and an absolute wrong. Your grandfather does not hold the only truth about this, nor do you. And being different is what's going to make you a great Tsuchikage. If you were the same as your grandfather, we wouldn't have such a good relationship, would we? I mean, the Leaf and the Stone.

She clearly needs some encouragement. You take a seat on the grass next to her.

"He's more experienced, but he doesn't know everything." you start. "He'll be right about some things and wrong about others. So would you. Neither way is absolutely right or wrong. But if you want to make the village better, you can't just step aside. We both know you could help this village quite a lot if you have the drive. You don't want to be the same as your grandfather anyway, with you as Tsuchikage, we could have a great relationship between our villages. Just prove yourself to your grandfather by holding true to your beliefs, and showing him how it can be a great change for the village. Then you'll make a great Tsuchikage someday. I even think you could pull off the hat."

Kurotsuchi stares for the sky a bit longer before sitting back up, a smile creeping on her face.

"Well, obviously I wasn't just going to give up." she grins. "I'll show him, and you, and everyone else how you really run a village. Just you wait. After I learn from everyone else of course."

The two of you get up off the grass, and Kurotsuchi turns away from you before speaking again.

"Anyway, thanks for that." she says a bit more quietly. "Let's hope we can keep improving our relations for a long time."

Once she turns back around, a grin rivaling your own is etched across her face.

"So Kon, you got any plans?" Kurotsuchi asks. "You're not going to be in the village much longer, are you?"

You don't really have anything to do. You basically were going to go back to the mansion and find some way to occupy your time.

"I have no plans at all." you admit. "Why?"

Kurotsuchi smiles again.

"Well, I'm sure I'll get plenty of time to see more of your release since we have a chance of working together now." she starts. "So I figured I'd show you around. Come on!"

Kurotsuchi leads you around the village, showing you all the sights. Of particular note is that the village has an abundance of interesting architecture. Every building has some unique feature that Kurotsuchi can point out to you. The village is all connected by a series of bridges, and each one is intricately carved with designs and patterns. The entire village was carved out from mountain, and no expense was spared on the details. The fact that Kurotsuchi knows every little facet of the village is astounding. The two of you get some snacks and munch on them as you tour around the village. You eventually come up to the Stone Monument that the Tsuchikage mentioned. It really is just a rock on a pedestal, but they certainly know how to make a rock look significant. As the day winds down, Kurotsuchi leads you to a mountain at the western edge of the village. She begins to scale it, and urges you to follow, insisting that you need to move quick.

After a good while climbing, the two of you reach the summit just as the sun begins to set. The view from your perch is absolutely breathtaking.

"Pretty cool spot, right?" Kurotsuchi asks. "Easily the best place to watch the sunset."

The two of you take a seat and relax as you watch the sky change colors with the fading light.

"Well, that's my village." Kurostuchi sighs. "It's not much, but it's home. I hope you found something about it to enjoy. I mean, you'll come back often, right?"

Between Kurotsuchi and your father's clan, they've really been able to sell you on this whole place.

"It's great, I'll be coming back as often as possible." you insist. "I've still got my responsibilities as a Leaf Jonin, but since I seem to be the only one who can convince your grandfather of anything, I think I'll get plenty of opportunities. Thanks for showing me around. Between you and my father's clan, this really does feel like a second home."

"Well, I'm glad you had a good time. I enjoyed myself as well." Kurotsuchi responds. "Hopefully the next time you visit it can be purely for leisure, and we don't have any issues like this time. I know I'm looking forward to it."

As the sun finishes setting, the two of you make your way back down the mountain and to the Bakutsugi mansion. Kurotsuchi has a mission tomorrow, and can't see you off, but she wishes you a good night and says that she hopes to see you again soon.

As you enter the mansion, you make your way to the common room to find Neji, Deikida, and Katsuki sitting at a table playing cards. Your relatives seem to be giving Neji a hard time about cheating using his byakugan, but they're laughing, so it's likely all in good fun.

Neji could easily cheat with the byakugan, but he's not the kind of guy who would do that. He's too straight-laced for that.

"Mind if I join?" you ask as you take a seat at the table.

"Not at all, Kon!" Katsuki says as he deals you a hand. "We're just giving Neji here a hard time, guy needs to loosen up a little!"

Deikida laughs as she leans toward Neji with her cards. "Hey, it's kind of a strain on my one eye to keep reading these cards hand after hand, so can you do it for me? I mean, your eyes can handle two people's worth of looking easy, I'm sure."

Despite everything, Neji's calm is as unwavering as ever. The four of you play through a few hands, before Deikida addresses you.

"So Kon, how'd the meeting go?" she asks. "Are we good to fight the Akatsuki? Tell me we are, I'm raring to go."

"Yes!" Deikida stands up and throws her winning hand down on the table. "Hey, I better get to come when you get a team together! Don't be leaving me out!"

"Relax, Deikida. It's probably a ways off yet." Katsuki insists. "We've got to wait for the old man, after all. Anyway, good job Kon. I knew you could do it. You are certainly becoming a bridge for our villages. Don't let the pressure get to you!"

Katsuki laughs, and you all continue to play. After a few more hands, you all decide to turn in for the night. You and Neji return to your guest room and make sure your things are in order for tomorrow morning. Before you both turn in for bed, Neji poses a question.

"Kon, you seem to be very comfortable here." he says. "Your family all treat you well, and you're even on good terms with the Tsuchikage and his granddaughter. I don't have much issue, but a ninja with such a connection to a village not his own is strange. I just want to know your thoughts. What are your plans for the future here?"

You're not exactly sure what you plan to do, but surely there's a way for everyone to benefit from the villages having one person who is in good with both.

"Well, they all like me, so I don't see why I shouldn't visit frequently." you start. "I could definitely be an asset for the village by being a go between. And well, I kind of like it here too."

"I see." Neji responds. "I know you have good intentions, and as far as I've seen, they're good people here. But you should be careful that people don't get the wrong idea. People have been accused of treason for less. I can guess at your feelings, though. No one can spurn a place where they're made to feel welcome. Just don't forget everyone at home in the Leaf."

It's weird to hear that kind of thing from Neji, he's never sentimental. He's usually as stoic in demeanor as he is stone-faced. The two of go to bed and get to sleep. The next morning, you eat breakfast and leave the mansion. Katsuki and Deikida see you off at the gate.

"Oi, come on back soon, you hear?" Deikida calls as she waves you off. "And not just you Kon, you come visit too, Neji! I'll get some fireworks together and we can set 'em off. We'll have a blast!"

"I'll see if I can make it down to the Leaf soon." Katsuki tells you. "I really want to meet this other uncle of yours. So keep a table open for me, you hear?"

You wave goodbye to the two of them, and head back towards the village. Once you get back, you'll have to get ready straight away again. It'll be time for your biggest mission yet.

I feel like we achieved stuff this time around. Assuming the Stonekage didn't just fob us off with a promise of aid with the intent to do *absolutely nothing*.

Also, it's easy to forget that Naruto essentially takes place in a what, five-way Cold War.
>>
>>43383043
Don't worry, Laze.

You can always tide anon over with a fic of Kuro schlicking herself to thoughts of Kon's "Kekkei Genkai". And by that I mean his actual kekkei genkai.
>>
>>43383043
Are we gonna have to Distract Naruto so that they can have their fight?

SOON

MODERATELY
>>
>>43383095
I don't think there's a time frame in existence that I could work up the motivation to write that

>>43383097
There will be quite a few things happening at once

As Mini likes to say

Things will get cuhrazy
>>
>>43383043
Something i have noticed Laze, the amount of music used in the background for the posts has dropped to near zilch.

I really liked the music so could you bring it back?
>>
>>43383171
>Mini
Needs to run his bloody quest more often.
>>
>>43383171
>As Mini likes to say

>cuhrazy

He doesn't get to use that word until he brings the CUHRAZEE back, even if his naruto quest IS good.

I need my cuhrayzee man. I need it. NEED IT. NEEED.
>>
>>43383179
I got really lazy

Like before, I could just use whatever was in the equivalent or a similar scene, but now I actually have to think about what to use, not to mention I didn't really watch much of Shippuden, so I'm missing a lot of context for the tracks

But I'll do it anon

Now that I know someone actually liked that and I wasn't wasting my time
>>
>>43383216
Do you want me to sift through shippuden songs of note and organize them according to where they could possibly be used / general theme?
>>
So at this rate, do we have a chance of stumbling into the position of Hokage? Not any time soon, but after Kakashi perhaps*
>>
>>43383314
So that you don't have to?
>>
>>43383330
Who said Kakashi is ever gonna be Hokage anon?
>>
>>43383314
That would actually be really helpful

>>43383330
Given how young Itachi is, Kakashi is not likely to become Hokage

As for you, you could make a bid for it if you want

But would you really do that to your little bro?
>>
Hey Laze what are the chances of us
A) learning 1 handed seals
B) use two at once to form a combo move
>>
>>43383361
>>43383378
I forgot Itachi was Hokage in this storyline. It'd be neat if we eventually become Konohamaru's bodyguard or Jonin Commander, which I think was brought up a while back.

Here's hoping our clan doesn't knife us before then.
>>
Does kuro have a little bit of a crush o use yet? Also is neji legit worried we are gonna go full turn coat, we are Leaf through and through?
>>
>>43383378
Well i cannot guarantee anything by Sunday, but i will make a list for you.

Get an ask account as well so A. people can ask questions at any time that can eventually get around to whenever, and B. i can PM you the list by submitting it as a question.

Kill two birds and all that.

I don't know of another way to PM you without you giving me something.
>>
>>43383477
He can change his settings on Twitter to allow people to message him that he isn't following, or he can follow you until everything's done.
>>
>>43383528
True enough.

But i don't want him to follow me, and have myself be revealed.

I guess i can just Give him an alt account
>>
>>43383438
If you put the time in, very good. Like I said, it could take months though

You could only use jutsu of two different natures at the same time if they are your components for your combination release, otherwise no

>>43383468
Maybe

Neji doesn't think so, he's just worried about what other people might think

Also in case you haven't noticed, you're awkwardly his best and only friend

>>43383477
Thanks

Do I really have to? I mean that's another thing for me to keep track of

Can't you just message the twitter?
>>
>>43383563
Change your setting so anyone can PM you and sure. Of course you have to figure that out...
>>
>>43383650
Alright, I set it
>>
>>43383563
...kek. Wow. We really need to train with him more often.
>>
>>43383719
All of the ANBU he works with are way older than him, and he never hangs out with anybody

He volunteered to come so he could hang out with you

He still felt weird calling himself your friend though, like he was lying
>>
>>43383776
Neji a cute
>>
>>43383776
God, girls would gobble that up.
>>
>>43383776
He should come with us more often. I could totally see him and Kon being assigned an A-rank mission like 'Protect Official From Assassins.'

Which would also be fun to play out.
>>
>>43383776
Maybe he feels like he hasn't done enough to actually call himself our friend. Sad, Neji has been a pretty cool guy in this story, i guess he is just lonely being both a hyuuga non-main branch member and an ANBU.

>>43383687
Sweet, will PM stuff at some point when i stop listening and start organizing.
>>
Ok plan for the Future, chill with neji some more to give him friends, learn 1 handed seals so we can solo combo moves (like learn water+lightning)

Train with Tenten, give Rock Lee a rematch and learn tome team work moves with Sauske and Kiba
>>
Do we have a theme song for Kon yet
>>
>>43383852
We should also chill with Shino at some point, if we have the time. Guy needs more love. And I suppose if we want to get with Tenten it would be good to be friendly with her team mates.
>>

This is for when inevitably Kon goes full angry Monkey mode and starts to wreak shit.

Is this pretty much a fair ranking of the villages as of right now?

>High tier
Konoha, Kumo

>Mid tier
Iwa

>Low tier
Suna, Kiri

>Rainshit tier
Ame
>>
>>43384023
I'd say so, Sand has it a bit worse than Mist though
>>
>>43384053
And Hanzo the Coward is still alive, yes?
>>
>>43384061
Why would he be alive
>>
>>43384104
Wasn't he alive up until only a few weeks before Pain's invasion? I dunno.
>>
>>43384127
No, he was dead before the timeskip
>>
>>43384143
Is Gato's murder ever gonna come back on us?
>>
>>43384183
>murder
>>
>>43384183
Not likely

The only people that care are members of crime rings that you will likely never interact with

And it's not like the Leaf is really going to miss the little bit of business they could potentially have offered
>>
>>43384023
Kumo should be mid-tier. Konoha only becomes on par with them after Pain's invasion.
>>
>>43384228
But I think it'd be cute to just get ambushed on one of our trips by a bunch of grunts who think they're people.

>>
>>43384865
Honestly with Tenten approaching Shirou density, I'd be hard pressed not to say Kurotsuchi at this point. I mean maybe if Tenten managed to be involved in the narrative again, or showed any interest in anything about Kon without needing him to literally show up at her house she'd still be an option.
>>
>>43387381
she has literally no interest in Kon, Laze has even had to spell it out for you.
>>
>>43387400
I'm not contesting the fact. Just pointing out that a girl so oblivious to and uninvolved with the protagonist would be a shit romance option anyway.
>>
>>43387452
>tfw rooting for Fuu
>Tfw Shino got her first

oh well..
>>

>>
>>43387697
Might as well hold out for waifuing Kaguya at the rate things are going.

With Temari never having been an option, Tayuya being dead, Fuu getting Shino'd, Tenten being oblivious, Anko being married, and our protagonist being born like a hundred years too late for Mito, what alternative is there?
>>
>>43387452
Somehow I get the feeling that that whole development exists just so we didn't waifu so early
>>
>>43387864
>Temari never having been an option
She probably could have been, but people were too content to let nature run its course on that one

That was back when everyone thought we were gonna be on perpetual rails parallel to the series too
>>
>>43387917
I was hoping for all those filler villains to go up against...
>>
>>43387917
Granted I'm in no way upset that Temari and Shikamaru seem to be playing out as in canon, but that's part of why she was never an option. Too many people actually like that pairing, because there was groundwork for it in canon.
>>
Do you think Naruto is implanting the Zero-Tails into Hinata? Creepy masked Hinata with byakugan and a power spirit empowering her. Scary.
>>
>>43388070
Given Laze's apparent deathly allergy with non canon material I doubt it

Getting him to even do the movie was like pulling teeth
