Since the army has been sending people into the foodgeons regularly, they have lots of surplus materials now. Should we use those to improve national infraestructure, or distribute it to the poor?

Having decided to direct the extra resources towards improving infrastructure, they will be used to increase the number of rockitship docks across the empire, with the objective of creating a safe and affordable mass transit system unlike anything the world has seen before. Short of teleportation platforms, which would be expensive to use and keep, and thus only usable for emergencies, the rockitship should provide a strong, safe and reliable way for merchants and travelers of all types to cross the empire from a tip to the other, rising the standard of living all across the continent.

Thanfully, it seems the first six imperial rockitships are almost ready and about to leave the docks, so we are faced with a rather simple problem which Yin wanted us to deal with.

What should the first six rockitships be called? Should they be known as "Her Majesty's -insert name-"?

Do we want to name them ourselves, or get Ren to do it? there is some small worry that her highness may name them after whatever crosses her mind at the time, and a battleship named "Peaches" would not be as intimidating as it may otherwise be...

We could always call one "one of ours", right?

We stamp the documents for the new docks to be built across the nation, and roll the ball over towards the general, making it into his provilege to name the new ships.

Well, I am sure that the empire has its own naming traditions already, so it would be better if they were kept, right?

The rest of th work is administrative in nature, and there is nothing exceptional to deal with. With Aritsu, Lyann and Yin, we easily finish off the remaining work.

It is still an hour or so for sunset in the empire, thanks to the time zone difference, but back in Okaba's rockitship, it is late enough to be early. I wonder if we should head back already?

It feels as if we are cheating on them, doesn't it? I wonder what would Ren say about it.

The lionguards greet us and let us into the palace's Heavenly pavillion, where the empress' private chambers are.

Of course, this area LOOKS unguarded, but it is easy to guess that Ren's shadows must be around to keep silent watch over the place.

Then again, maybe not?

As we approach Ren's room, we can hear someone whining and laughing... these are very girly moans, you know? It doesn't sounds like Ren.

"Ah, can I come in?" -the sliding doors are made of light and extremely beautiful painted paper. The "door" is a masterwork that even we, with our rather square mind, can appreciate.

Knocking on it would be unthinkable.

"Come in" -Ren answers with a perfectly calm voice

Thus, we go in... Ren is tickling one of her shadows on the bed. The beautiful redheaded ninja is on all four on Ren's lap, tears falling off her face as Ren continues to tease her.

"Duke!" -the empress stops, for a moment, and then starts gently petting the girl without dismissing her.- "Come in."
"Ah... thank you. W-what are you doing?"
""We are tickling Mia"
"Right. Why?"
"Because she has the nicest laugh." -she says, as if she was stating something painfully obvious

The shadow looks at us with a silent plea.

The young empress looks at us with a very clear "I do not follow" expression on her face. She looks perfectly innocent and curious.

"But she is laughing. That means she is happy, right?"

Ah... just... right, Mako was terrified of strangers when she first went out of the palce and for about a year into her "exile", right? just how sheltered are these pricnesses?

"Ren, your shadows love you very much. Even if you were to hurt them, they would never complain, you know?"
"We are hurting her? but... tickling is fun."
"If I tickled you as long as I felt like without caring for your opinion on it. you wouldn't like it."

She looks at us with that "you lost me" expression again.

Mia takes a deep breath now that Ren has finally stopped tickling her, and sort of collapses/slides out from the bed. Still, she goes into stealth and we lose track of her as whe recovers.

With Ren's permission, we move closer to her and gently bottom and behind her back, pulling her into our lap, sitting her facing away from us.... ah, dangerous, dangerous, the young empress feels so soft and girly... it feels just like holding Mako in many ways...

"Then, with your permission..." -we slide a hand under her robe and start gently tickling and caressing her.
"Ah, Duke, you- a-ah!"

Soon, the beautiful empress is squirming and giggling. Her real laugh is quite nice. It is a very clear and girlish sound... it is quite different from her normal "ufufu".

"W-wait, duke, h-hold on...!" -she protest mildly
"Your highness said I could put her through the same as Mia."
"B-but..."

She starts squirming and struggling, softly at first, then more desperately. Well, the shadows have leveled her up so she is more than strong enough to survive a random attack should it somehow manage to reach her, but she's still quite the delicate and helpless girl compared to us...

Ah... dangerous, now we're the ones doing the bullying...

"D-duke, please s-st--!" -she manages to say a few words in between her laughing, squirming strongly now while we hold her wrists together above her with a hand and tickle her with the other.

"You know, it isn't nice to abuse your power like that. I am sure Mia also wanted you to stop."
"S-sh sid nhthng!" -she is crying a little bit as we continue to tickle her, and her tears start rolling off on the sheets and floor as they turn into pearls.

Ah... bullying a beauty by tickling her... its really fun, maybe we could, with Lyann... no, no, let's not.

We should work with General Li to prepare an expedition with a task force, so that Imperial and Coalition troops can gain experience fighting the [ERROR] when it appears.

"See? it's not as fun to be on the receiving end, is it?" - We gently hold her while she pants and gasps for breath, bright red.
"Ah..." -the black haired beauty is just panting for breath as she rests with a smile.

It looks like she actually had fun... t-that's dangerous on its own way. M-maybe we won't be able tp let Aritsu and Lyann rest, tonight? it feels rather awkward in our pants right now...

"Uhmm... well, anyway..." -we say while looking away from the excited, smiling empress in our lap- "The [ERROR]s will attack ..."

We explain the situation to her. She listens quietly to our whole explanation, much more calm by the end of it.

"Ah, then, we should evacuate the island, and have the army move in to wait for them." -Ren seems much more serious now, but she hasn't bothered fixing her clothes or adjusting her position in the least, making for quite the sensual sight and feel on our lap.

After a while, she agrees to letting the handling of the troops to the general, and to visit the island a few months before the evacuation starts, to calm and inspire the population.

"And you won't bully your shadows any more, right?"
"..."
"Right?"

"Ren, you won't bully your shadows anymore."
"...b-but it's fun..."
"Your highness!"

Is that how she sees them... wait, that's probably how they see themselves, too. It is part of their culture and way of life, right? we probably shouldn't touch that, but should instead try and tackle it in another way.

The empress blushes and looks down. Ah, she can actually blush like this... cute!

Eldric kisses her with a little smooch on the lips, and returns the fan to her.

She quickly grabs it, and her full body blush calms down almost instantly as she fans her face very very slowly. Honestly, she's just using her fan to hide her face behind it.

*cough* "Ah, well then, we will need to contact the general and inform him of the evacuation..." -she says calmly
"Right"

Thinking about it, all the shadows think of themselves as a part of Ren, and have nothing resembling a life beyond her, right? so, chances are, she's never been kissed before...

...after a few moments of a passionate kiss, we switch to a much kinder and gentler kiss, caressing and holding her chin as our lips meet.

In the end, we did end up eating her up with passionate and powerful kisses... she's quite soft and sweet while being kissed, and responds to us almost instantly, trying to emulate us as much as she can.

We separate after a while, and finally leave after saying our goodbyes to the young empress and her shadow.

Ah, this is bad. I really don't think Aritsu and Lyann are getting any rest tonight, after all!
