Cael'la chuckles and shakes her head once more.

She muses gazing at the hilt once more. Slowly she presses the button that activates the blade and a pillar of red light emits from the hilt causing Nivah to jump ever so slightly. The blade hums, a low droning noise. Flashbacks of the stories Xanth heard in the mines during his youth from old soldiers who had fought force users in combat. Some of them were still haunted by that deep hum.

Cael'la stands slowly and gives the blade a few swings, clearly thrown off by the nonexistent weight of the blade as she moves with it.

"It's strange swinging a blade with no weight. I've heard that you're meant to use the force to help guide the blade and ensure you don't harm yourself or others."

Nivah activates hers as well and the same vibrant red color springs to life and she also swings clearly putting too much power into it and throwing her weight.

You activate both of your sabers and the red glow of the blades spring to life, you feel an absent smile spread across your face. A loud noise rings out at the impact, and you push outward, forcing Cael'la backward.

The remaining month of your training is varied only slightly when compared to those apprentices dedicated to becoming scientists, politicans, or diplomats in Nivah's case. Your classroom time is dedicated mostly to lessons in tactics, small scale operations, and information on the Republic and other smaller factions of the galaxy, while your combat training begins to focus on wielding your lightsaber and various techniques, including throwing your sabers, returning them to your grip as well as blocking blaster fire.

You are allotted precious little of your remaning time to travelling with Master Yval, and you will be able to learn or improve upon two Force Powers.

You train again with Master Yval, and once again the plays games with your, ducking and dodging you every blow, but after having tangled with your rage before you manage to hold out longer you did in your previous training session. Luckily it seems that minor annoyances no longer seem to be able to push you over the edge, however once Master Yval is satisfied that you can hold your focus her tactics change. She begins taunting you.

In the blink of an eye your last day is upon you, the day of your graduation. You wake slowly, realizing this is the last time you will wake from this bunk. It's silly that such a thing should bring you melancholy, yet nearly a years worth of time spent made you fond of what was your first real bed. Your peers seem to feel similarly, funny how a place where your classmates were also your competition could also be a place of sentiment.

You rise and ready yourself before donning your training robes for the last time. The trip to the cafeteria is a slow one and you find Nivah and Cael'la both there to greet you. Becoming a perfect all around badass is what you do when you hit the peak in something. We wanna get gud at one thing first, THEN shore up everything else, not constantly be shit until the deep endgame.

Also Force Spark is only Force Spark because we haven't upgraded it much. We should still focus on upgrading shit we actually have before we go trying to learn blasters and shit just because you're insecure about not being a godly ubermensch in every field right from the start.
