Cain paused for a second "We will find you something in Mile 46. For now, hold on. I got my eye on you."

"Thanks Cain."

You ignored your thirst for Jet as the caravan started to move again.

"Hmmm...." she kept muttering something to herself to the point that she completely forgot about your conversation.

The clear skies above soon shifted to something more Malicious. The mules were starting to get agitated out of the sudden. A blizzard was making its way to you, perhaps something even worse.. there were some disorderly among the caravan with everyone spouting his or her opinion.

your suggestion added more incoherent noise to this chaos.
"SHUT THE FUCK UP!!! SHUUUUTTTT UP, LET MISS BOSS SPEAKS!!!" Chick cried out loud. his booming voice did the trick.

Everyone huddled around boss to hear her as the incoming blizzard grew nearer. Boss suggested sending a scout to scour the area before it was too late. Janus volunteered.

The woman came back after an hour. she spoke of a large crater that could shelter the caravan. While Brahmins obliged the harsh treatment to move onwards. The bighorners didn't; they were too stubborn to move. there were little time to ask for orders. You, Clark, Flow and Anglo were having the same problem. The others were slowly getting far from the four of you. you were 100% that the Brahmin carried all the caps.

"Chick! Chick!" but it was useless; you were already in the heart of the Blizzard.

"It is useless! Leave the horners before it is too late." Anglo shouted. you wanted to ask about cattle rods but it was too late for that. you barely could see what was ahead of you. Guiding a stubborn beast in this weather was futile.

The four of you stuck to each other. Each step you took was a struggle of its own.
"Do you see anything?!!!" Anglo shouted

"There!" you exclaimed, you saw an outline of something ahead. it turned out to be the mountain which had the crater. It was fucking huge. a good chunk of the mountain was gone from the bomb.

The rest of the gang where rejoiced to see the four of you alive. None talked about the missing Bighorners.

It was too fucking cold by then. You were shivering by now.

you used the last of your fuel. it didn't stay lit for long in this dreadful weather. you had to reignite it a couple of time until it ran out of juice.

The storm persisted for a few more hours but it soon ended. the Brahmins were fine too. you were surprised when a Bighorner crawled to the to the crater. it looked like shit.

Suddenly the mule was lifted to the air and then squished under a tremendous force. you felt the ground shaking as a flaming giant Yao Guai materialized out of no where. The crater would fill it just fine.

Walks-Many-Cubs put herself between the group and the giant beast. She flailed her arms and said more of her savage Gibberish. "DON SHOOK!! DON SHOOK!! ME HINDL!!"

Boss had the same thoughts "Hold your fire! she know what she is doing!" the rest of the Mercs wasn't very happy to Oblige but everyone knew that it won't matter either way. They were in the mercy of a giant bear and a savage.

Walks spent the next five minutes dancing and flailing her arms left and right. She pulled some powder from her pockets and started to throw it around her. The beast watched in silence occasionally sniffing the air.

The tribal approached one of the Brahmin. she herded it next to the beast where she slit its throats violently. the beast seemed to understand the woman or at least her intention. It grabbed the dead Brahmin and then it disappeared once more. it finally left the place.

Everyone gathered around the hero of the day. some gave her a reluctant shake while other , like Clark, over-expressed their gratitude. She squeezed her with a powerful hug.

Mile, being the asshole he was, sat alone by himself. He wasn't going to hurt his o mighty ego and pride for a savage. Boss was the only one who fully understood her. Both engaged in lots of signs and gestures.

The woman smiled "Yo, gid" the hand shaking felt awkward after a while. You had to Let go.

The caravan was ready to move on, after a couple of hours, it was nighttime.

you did your best to focus on your duty but the tremors and shakes went rampart. it was perhaps the first time you haven't taken jet regularly for months.

you collapsed on the floor as you couldn't contain the tremors. You soon found Janus staring at you from top. Her face spoke of disgust "Stand up and i will heal your broken body. Stand up you pathetic excuse for a man."

With some effort to control the tremors, you defied yourself and stood up "This proves nothing. you are still a degenerate in my eyes but I value my words above all else."

The woman leaned you against an rusty car while she prepared herself. "Take these, they will make you look more of a man than a trembling rat." she gave something strange to drink. It was so fucking bitter that you drank some water after it to cleanse your palate.

"We are not done yet." She crushed some seeds together. you were in no shape to identify them. they formed a yellow mesh "Eat this and don't whine." the bitter drink was nothing against this foul medicine. Brahmin shit would probably taste better than this. you swallowed it with disgust.

You felt woozy afterwards, the tremors were mostly gone "You need some sleep, you are in no shape to guard at any way. I will cover you, try to be a better man the next time you wake up."

"like you have a choice. you are too relaxed now. Give in like you always do" she crossed her arm. Confidence was obvious in her words

You felt really sleepy. Once you lied down on a nice spot. you drifted into a nice sleep.

You woke up feeling much, much better. the sun rose with a new hope for a new day. After marching for a couple of hours, the town of couriers was in the horizon.
