>Casino gang – With Hestia’s guidance goblins and androids are reinforcing the gang. The weapons you are giving them have allowed them to more confidently control their turf. Rumors have started about the lights people can see climbing upwards slowly from the pit.

>Administration – Your presence has not gone unnoticed, patrols in the higher floors have been dramatically increased and the gangs holding turf in floors above three hundred are being crushed slowly but surely. Level 200 has been fully secured and the patrols have begun to evacuate the population on the levels between 250 and 299 forcing them downwards.

>Refugee crisis – A massive amount of people are flooding into the territory under your control, the casino gang is having difficulties passing out food and water quickly enough, the sheer desperation of the situation has caused the people to start accepting good from even the goblins.


A procession of ornate carriages starts traveling through the city, it looks like a delegation of nobles are coming to the palace. You follow Ayla’s thoughts to find her, you come to a massive throne room. It looks set up to be an audience chamber, Ayla is busy admonishing several djinn guards for being mean to phoenixes. It appears that she won’t get over that for a while.

“Master~” Ayla notices your approach, so you drop the elements in your aura except the ones that match hers and let her tackle into you.

“Can you believe that they really don’t like cute phoenixes?” Ayla asks as she hugs you tightly, the djinn are clearly becoming more and more uncomfortable by the situation.

“They are worried about overpopulation,” you try to explain your understanding of the situation you gathered from the stolen memories.

“That is no excuse!” Ayla complains.


Another guard floats into the room, “Pardon my interruptions your majesty, but the nobles have begun to arrive.”


The next several hours are spent waiting for all the nobles to arrive, the audience / throne room is jam packed with djinn by the time all interested parties have arrived. The room is filled with the roar of conversation and the disconnect between how everyone is trying to ignore you and the lavish praise and attention thrown at Ayla makes the situation a bit awkward for you.

Oddly, eva is still listed as currently a prisoner. Her goal is also still to convince her dad that shes one, but hey she might keep it after not being one, who knows.

A particularly suspicious looking djinn that the others refer to only as the court mage then oversees the entire ceremony. Ayla is first tested to ensure that she really is a marid, the djinn nobility murmur in excitement when she displays her power over earth, air, fire and water.

The djinni court mage nearly fumbles the entire ceremony when Ayla continues on and displays her command of electricity as well. The crowded room falls silent as every is now seriously paying attention. Next a strange crystal orb is presented to Ayla and the mage asks her to put mana into it. You can sense that as she does so the material of the crystal is inhibiting the flow of mana like a resistor.


It doesn’t bother Ayla much at all, as she pumps the orb full of mana. The orb begins to glow brightly and there is polite clapping, until Ayla goes over board and puts too much mana into the orb and it explodes sending shards of crystals everywhere. She is hurt by the blast, but you just heal her before anyone else notices.

Ayla is too busy smiling at you to notice that the mage decides to skip a few parts after seeing that and just places a crown on her head and declares her to be the true ruler of all djinn.


The crowd erupts into thunderous applause and then the whole room starts to empty out as the mage takes Ayla outside to address the masses.

“Master come on,” Ayla catches your eye and thinks to you.


Out on a vast balcony Ayla and the mage stand overlooking a massive crowed square, the mage introduces her and beckons her to give a speech.

Believe in magical Djinni waifu.

Before Ayla starts her speech you extend a domain of light, sound, and air. You attempt to greatly amplify not only what she says but how impressive she looks.

Ayla notices and nods at you.


But something strange happens, you feel your domain start to be pulled on. It is as though the city itself is altering what you are attempting to do. The amber around you glows and suddenly you feel as though your domain is limitless, encompassing all of Djinnistan at once.


As Ayla steps up to the edge to look over the vast gathered crowd a giant illusion of her appears in the sky above. The illusion booms out with her voice as she begins to speak.


“Greeting people of Amberabad and Djinnistan!” Ayla waves to the gathered crowd, they cheer when she addresses them, “the bad tyrant king has been killed!”


“We will begin a new era of peace and happiness!” The crowd goes wild at her announcement.

“The first change will be that no longer will we allow slavery or the mistreatment of phoenixes,” Ayla continues, “For if you truly believe you are superior then you are above such behavior.”

You notice that while the djinn are looking upset about this development a few of the slaves that you can spot are crying and hugging each other.


As Ayla drops the thin veneer of nobility she was trying to keep up and starts talking about everything she likes the illusion above fades away and your domain snaps back to your immediate surroundings. The mage is a bit worried about things as Ayla babbles to the crowd in full blown idol mode, but doesn’t dare interrupt.


Eventually Ayla gets bored and ends the speech and comes to talk with you.

“SO COOL!~” Ayla exclaims, “How did you make a giant me master?”

“It was only partly me, the city did something,” you go to point out the glowing amber you notice that it has faded away too leaving no traces of what transpired.


“Suuuure, but what are we going to do now?” Ayla wonders.

“We could explore the city,” you offer to Ayla.

“Your majesty there are some things that you should do-” the court mage says.


“Let’s go master!” Ayla grabs you and jumps off the balcony into the crowd.

To stop them from mobbing the pair of you, you summon the giant lizard and Izulu to your side.

The crowd parts to allow Izulu’s large form to stalk through the square and you lift Ayla up onto the giant lizard and abscond with her.

As you help her escape the duties of being ruler, she reaches out to touch the hands of the people of try to crowd around.


The guards from the palace follow at a distance, deciding that trying to stop you is pointless.


There are slaves that crowd alleyways trying to catch a view of you passing through the city. They are estaic that Ayla announced the end of slavery.

“Ayla, the old king said the tunnels were closed, maybe we could ask if the paths can be resotred,” you say.

“To let the slaves go home right?” Ayla asks, “I’ll do it later.”

You hear a snickering and catch sight of a familiar looking skull a few times, but you can’t seem to pin the water djinn down in the crowd. He eventually leaves you alone as you wander about the city.


In the middle of the city there is a vast open air market, goods flow around the area as though water. When your group arrives the cacophony of trade dies down as everyone gawks at Ayla. Looking behind you for a moment you see that there is a parade of people flowing behind you, the bobing struts Izulu makes is a clear marker of your location. You doubt that you will be able to explore in peace at this rate.

Wandering through the market you spot that skull again and immediately pull it towards you with a combination of gravity and telekinesis.


The surprised djinn shifts away from a humanoid form back into a compete skeletal serpent once more.

“Ahhahaha, Shahbadu and consort, good to meet you once more,” the djinni stammers out.

“Were you really helping or did you try to murder us?” you question the djinni

“Yes,” it responds.

“Here, here, yes no tricks you are clearly the stronger one, a gift,” the djinni drops a magical bone to the ground.


The djinn then starts fading away, you are about to force him to stop when Ayla taps your shoulder.


“Its ok master just let him go, he helped us,” Ayla says.

The djinn vanishes, not invisible, he teleported away since there is no sign of his life any more.

With that over with you continue your wandering around the market area. You buy a pile of gifts, mostly flowing silk dresses for all your girls. Unsure of what Nana likes you also get some jewelry crafted by the djinn out of pure flawless gems. Pausing to buy Izulu and the giant lizard food, you spot what looks like a dusty old magic shop so you make your way to go and look around inside.

The giant lizard is happy to bask in the sun outside and eat meat while you go inside, but Izulu protests.

“Izulu wants to go! But inside small!” She complains over your mental link.

“It will just be a short time, we will be right out,” you tell her.


“No!” Izulu cries out.


She then flaps her wings a few times and raises her wings up over her beak and starts pulling hard. Lighting is discharged as she tries to do something for the first time.


There is a sudden explosion of electricity and you get yanked off the giant lizard and pulled into a hug, by some woman you’ve never seen before.

“Izulu goes now!” She declares and Ayla giggles wildly as she joins in smothering you with hugs.


Looking over the woman who replaced Izulu’s bird form you see that she needs clothing, so you make her wear one of the silk dresses you bought. The fabric catches a bit on her hair or is it still feathers, no it feels like some sort of combination.

You enter the magic shop with Izulu and Ayla both wrapped around an arm and look around for things to buy. There are a few objects on prominent display, but they are all marked as not being for sale. So instead you look at the –

Piling up all the goods you want for the shop keeper to look over she counts out your total price. 67,969 gold, she gives you a look that says she doesn’t think you have enough money. You start emptying your money pouch out and come up with only 16,266 gold. That gets you a bit worried, but then you grab for the platinum coins and wrangle up 1731 coins.

The djinni shopkeeper takes 670 platinum and 969 gold from you and sends you on your way.

“Come back anytime!” She cackles as you leave.

You’ll need to determine how to divide up all that you bought later, or you can just let Ayla distribute it, if she shares.


Upon exiting the shop Izulu turns back into a giant bird and ruffles her feathers, “Outside big!” she echos across the mental link happily.

Four fairy tale books – These books each tell the tale of the titular world, Alfheim, Muspelheim, Svartalfheim and Jotunheim. Ayla warns that if you read the books it feels like you will be taken away somewhere.

Djinni Bone – This bone is filled with arcane power, whoever snaps it will gain knowledge of the unknown spell hidden away inside.

Crimson and pale ice blue transparent crystal – If crafted into a item to be worn it grants +10 luck, +30 mana and wards it against evil.

You decide to head back to the palace so you ride the lizard back through the city. As you leave the shop behind a crowed of djinn storm the building trying to see just what made the shop special enough to gain Ayla’s attention. There is a lot of screaming and some djinn are sent scattering away from the shop horribly injured.


Guards open the palace at your arrival, allows Ayla to pass. They still don’t seem to much care for you.

“This fight would be to the death, don’t throw your lives away,” you try to discourage them.

“If you know that much, then you also know that by accepting you have cast your lot against all three of us!” The demonic djinni taunts you.

“Being old forever isn’t a good thing lad, at least let me go down in a blaze of glory,” the old djinni comments.

“Enough talk, we fight for Shahbadu Ayla’s hand!” The hammer djinni yells out.


By now there are guards posted everywhere, watching your decision intently.


“Fine I will accept your challenge,” you say.

The djinni with the hammer hefts it above his head, ready to strike. The demonic djinni and the older djinni pull swords and prepare to battle you.


At least the old guy seems reasonable, so you give him a second to rethink his choice. Then you step without stepping, move without moving and slam into the hammer djinni and demonic djinni instantly, your form just flickers as you return to where you started nearly faster than light. Damn it, you did it again without realizing what happened. All you have to show for it is two soul gems, one shiny blue and the other a dull vile looking red and black.


As the two other djinn corpses burn out into their constituent elements the old djinn takes a deep breath. He steels himself to battle the impossible as you let your aura grow to its full might, the pulsing power of your elements has all the djinn present on edge.

“I guess it was youth before beauty then?” the old djinni chuckles to himself.

“If you concede you can walk away,” you tell the old djinni as you filter through the memories you took trying to find an out for him.


“Lad, I’ve been old for too long,” he rushes in to attack you, your skin shatters his blade as his body is corroded by the force of your aura.

“At least this way I get my name in the history books right?” He whispers so only you can hear.


He then brings his surprisingly potent power of air down to strike you, the howling winds roar against you, an immovable object.

His body burns away unable to withstand your aura, and his crystal clear soul orb falls to the ground, rolling to a stop against your foot.


The djinn guards furtively exchange money, a few of them bet on the long shot that you would lose.


“Could we please not do this every time master comes around?” Ayla asks the guards and the court mage.

“Of course your majesty, the human,” the mage looks a bit unsure about that, “is very important to you we all see that, yes. So now about the rebels you wanted to go talk to them?”

“Oh, right, yes we can all be happy and peaceful if they stop the war right?” Ayla asks him.

“Even the rebels surely would accept you of course, of course,” the mage assures her.

“We need a guide or a map to get to the rebel cities, this is our first time in Djinnistan,” you tell the mage.


“Not having been anywhere before does make things more difficult, I can just teleport you there, it is much easier,” the mage says.

“Tch, humans,” the court mage mutters under his breath, but you can clearly hear it.


He creates a map and hands it to you, then he teleports you away without another word.


You arrive on a path paved with pure gold leading to a brilliant shining green city, unrolling your map you run through the memories you took and notice that the djinni noble never left his house because you don’t recognize anything on the map. Even in death the djinni noble is annoying you.

You notice that the court mage failed to send Izulu and the giant lizard along with you as you take a closer look at your surroundings.

A vast temperate forest is behind you and it opens into rolling plains with interspersed trees. Fields of flowers grow freely among the grassy hills. The city itself rises in the distance its glimmering spires crafted from pure flawless emerald. You see just outside the gate there are two forces of djinni engaged in battle, the two sides seem equally matched.


“What? I’m shahbadu, the road is technically mine,” Ayla says when you see her trying to pry up one of the gold bricks that make up the road.


You just sigh and stow the map, you still have no idea where you are but from what you saw both Jabulqa and Jabulsa are very distant from Amberabad.

You call on the giant lizard and Izulu again. They appear at your side ready to do your will, or bask.

Izulu was in her human form when summoned, but she reverts to her normal bird form immediately and leaps into the air. She starts flying in lazy circles above you waiting for you to want something.

You pull Ayla up onto the giant lizard and begin your trip down the golden road before she takes the entire thing.


The giant lizard stalks down the road much faster than before, and you find yourself nearly upon the battle in no time at all.


“Ayla could you talk to them and get the battle to stop?” You ask.

“Good idea master, I’ll try,” Ayla agrees so you begin manipulating sound and air to cause her voice to carry over the sound of the fighting.

“I, Shahbadu Ayla, command you to stop!” Ayla’s voice booms out causing even the ground to rumble with its force.


The djinn immediately freeze, the two sides quickly separate into distinct groups once they recover from the shock of your sudden appearance. One of the groups looks more like professional soldiers is being led by one of the soldiers you turned rebel and the other group looks to be lower ranked djinn levied into a militia. The militia side is much larger, having only held on by their force of numbers.

The rebellion leader and a djinni woman approach you to speak with Ayla.

“Wait, you look familiar,” the soldier says as he gets closer, he is trying to remember where he saw you both before.


“Welcome Shahbadu Ayla, to our humble city of Jabulsa,” the djinni woman drops to a deep bow, she smells like a ghul to you, the distinct scent of myrrh and frankincense waft forth from her.


“Why are you fighting?” Alya asks them.

“These jann scum tried to upset the order of the city!” The soldier claims, there is some truth to his words as you see the illusion of Ayla giving her speech appeared over this city as well. It caused the people to revolt against the rebellion’s rule.


“We only seek to cast out the rebels to accept you my Shahbadu, they continue their forced rule even though the false king has been disposed,” the woman claims, and again partial truth. The militia has been quite destructive in their quest to scatter the rebel forces.


Ayla looks at you expectantly hoping that you will decide the right course of action here.
