Hey guys sorry about starting late, also have some stuff later today as well.

>Last thread: http://suptg.thisisnotatrueending.com/archive/43072516/

>Last game we ran from our hunters, killed a father and son, fled again, and explored our new-found home.

Whispers at the edges on your minds, shapes darker than this total darkness swim in your vision. And then a voice, deep from centuries of thoughts on sustained and cronic b

When your mind returns to you; you are gasping for breath at the entrance of the cave. Night is half way through. You are feeling a bit peckish.

Yes.

I don't think we'll be able to keep on a steady path to a goal considering the nature of quests on /tg/...

Finding it imperative to gather fresh meat now while you can, as dawn is approaching and the cold mountain air will keep your collected meat right now from rotting too quickly. You grab the bow and dagger that you stol- hem hem- allocated from the father and son that you killed. You take a few steps from the entrance of the cave and examine the surrounding pines. Upon closer inspection, one of the trees reveals a hidden clue- deer rubbings from where bucks will scratch their antlers on the bark of trees to spread their scent! You can see a clear, frequently used trail to the right of it... being this high up with so few humans it would have to be a deer trail.

After continuing down the into the trail you see more and more evidence of a deer be present here, be it tufts of fur on low, snagging branches, or hoof prints in mud. You begin to take slower, and more precise steps to do your best to make as little sound as possible.

Then you hear it.....that tell-tale snort.... the sight of the pale bone antlers sticking above a bush like sharp dead branches. You hold your stance. Knock an arrow...oh he may of heard that... You hold your breath for a good few minutes until he puts his head back down into the brush and continues to eat. Then you draw back the arrow to your cheek and hope your aim is true.

*TWANG*

The arrow flies through the air, quick and eager to deliver the message of death that it carries on its lips. The arrow sticks itself into the deer's flank, a bit behind the shoulder blade, piercing the deer's heart. The buck panics, and tries to escape from the unseen predatory that struck with whistling death through the air followed by a cutting pain. However it soon collapses a few feet from where it originated and lets out its dying gasp.

Rushing to the beast, you quickly field dress it, doing you best to cleaning remove all the non-edible organs. Stringing up the buck by his jaw, you haul him up the slope, back to your cave. Once at home sweet home, you prepare a meal of venison and watch as the sun's rays rise to greet the world.

You are full, the sun has risen, and their is calling with in the cave's deep crevices.

Thinking of ways to better improve your new found home you settle on some creature comforts. Taking hide, sinew, and bones you set to work.

You spent about 3 hours cleaning and preparing the hide for proper working, and while it was sitting in brine you began to carve bones into sharp shapes. Making quick ventures outside to grab some wood to work with, you make some stakes and a frame.

Cutting the hide in half you create a simple bed to keep you off the cold cave floor, a noticable improvement for your back. For the other half you fashioned a rudimentary door to prevent icy cold winds from sweeping into your mountain sanctuary, and for a bit of defense purposes you take wooden stakes and bone to make a rudimentary alarm system; if someone hits the bit of twine at ankle height, then bones strung in the trees will then fall creating a great mass of rattles. To polish everything off you plant some stakes at the entrance to ward off any possible predators.

It is about noon with the sun high in the sky, whispers still come from the deep regions of the cave.

With another stroke of creativity striking you; you begin to work on the clothes you took off the father's corpse. While they are bloodstain, wonder where that came from... and a bit small, they should serve as a good base for clothing instead of just your loincloth.

Using the remaining hide you patch any holes in the main garment of the chest and add on longer sleaves and an fur collar. With a feeling of curiosity you mess around with the deer's skull, antlers and all, and manage to attach it to a shawl that you can pull on and off. You did have to do some work on the skull to allow you to see clearly though. Pulling on your new clothing you instantly feel warmth enter regions that were being numbed by the mountain's bite.

To finish the job you use a strip of hide to make a simple blanket for your bed. Dusk is almost here. You feel a twing of hunger. The whispers from the depths of the cave grow with the dark.

Night has finally fallen. After eating a portion of the boy; you set down into the depths of the cave system... to meet with the dark presence from before.

You travel down the lightless cavern once again, your hand grazing the side of the corridor to keep track of where you are. Eventully you reach the antechamber once again, and from there the Abyssal corridor from where the voice emerges... you do not even have to enter the tunnel to hear it this time.

"Hello little one. I see you hath fashioned yourself clothes of hide. What brings you here into my cavern?"

"To speak with you, stop whispering and bothering my waking hours. Kindly fuck off please!"

The being was struck with shock. Then a feeling of humor was over you. "Never in all my years has a little welp like yourself thought of themselves high enough to speak out of line like that," then a crushing force like your soul was being forced out the soles of your feet pressed down upon you, and images impossible to every be or should be swam across your vision. "See to it that it doesn't happen again."

With this force you found yourself forced to your knees. "Wha-who a-are you?" You stammer through clenched teeth.

The being gives of the a feeling of mirth. "You, welp, may call me Father. Seeing as I will be aiding you." This leaves the image of a large, monsterous grin, full of sharp teeth.
