Karelia was gone; the strange entity that inhabited the Warpsteel mask had possessed her entirely and now controlled her mutated body. She floated above us with an air of grandiosity but a face that was twisted in a constant expression of frustration. She was now a creature from beyond this material plane and completely out of human comprehension. Karelia wasn’t a daemon but was pretty close to becoming one. She still had her humanoid form but it was now altered and mutated.

What using to be her body now became taller and lither, still she had some visible muscle mass on herself, on what once was a pale skin there was now an azure dermis that was covered by diamantine protrusions that appeared on the forearms, elbows and shoulders, those strange diamonds were able to reflect light in blinding manners and created a kaleidoscopic and migraine inducing lux with each movement. Her naked hands and feet were covered in a violet chitinous bio-organic armor that ended in several clawed fingers and toes that were covered with a strange greenish light and cracked with energy as if they were a power weapon. Her face was still covered with the Warpsteel and it looked as if it had turned into a second skin, her overall shape became thinner and her almond eyes were now dotted with two iridescent pink eyes that seemed to be able to pierce your flesh and look into your soul, secrets and fears. Several irregular wings plagued her back; they were formed by a mix of flesh, sinew and an insect like exoskeleton. Since it was the imperfect fusion of several alien races there were many other details here and there that gave her an asymmetric and confusing appearance.

She screamed in frustration for not being complete. She was just a step away from achieving daemonhood and your sabotage was the reason for her failure. So far she had just ignored you; you were little more than a nuisance but now it was personal.
>>
>>43035170
Karelia locked her supernatural eyes on you and it made you feel a chilling sensation that made all your limbs go numb and shivery, shortly after you started segregating a cold sweat and feeling an increasing terror that paralyzed you. The rest of the world seemed to disappear; all you could see was her directing her anger and frustration at you.

You felt completely in shock as you saw her flying towards you. Then, as if it were a miracle several explosions and the sound of chainswords took you out from your trance. Several Deathwatch Astartes clad in regular and Terminator Power Armor made their appearance and proceeded to unload their salvo of bolter and plasma fire onto Karelia and the few mutated remnants of the collapsed tower.

>Fly and clash with Karelia, duel her on the air.

Your own feelings betrayed you. You tried to fight your fears and succeeded in doing so but as you jumped and started ascending towards her you noticed that you lacked any kind of close combat weapon that could be useful to duel her, your entire right arm that used to hold your powerblade was now inside the debris of the mutated machine and your old chainsword is now on the ruins of an invaded Eldar craftworld.

Not wanting to turn back you grabbed your arc pistol and threw several bolts of pure electricity into her. She reacted back with the agility of an Eldar and countered your attack with energy spheres of her own. When they impacted they exploded into a ball of warpfire that floated on the air for some seconds and spewed whispering secrets and irradiated a ghostly light that covered an ample spectrum of colors.

"You!" She screamed.

"I don't even know why the voices wanted to keep you near me! You are an anathema to all I know and want! A mistake on what was used to be a perfect plan! Since I knew you I wanted for you to die! I was happy to know of the crimes that you had committed and took that as an opportunity to get rid of you!"

She looked completely deranged, her metallic face showed a thousand eyes at one second and mutated into a massive gaping jaw the next instant. Looking at it was simply maddening.

"Still you had to survive! Well, if the Materium couldn't kill you, then the Warp will do!"

Her entire body glowed and she started to chant some strange sorcery. Just in that moment you took advantage and tried to shoot at her now that she was busy. In a fraction of a second the exchange of blows happened, for an instant you two became connected by your respective attacks as your arc of electricity impacted her and Karelia's blast of warpenergy collided with the right part of your chest.
>>
>>43035876

Both you and she became affected by the attack and sudden explosion and shockwave. She managed to continue flying in the air, you fell backwards in a clumsy fashion.

It was strange, you felt different, very different. By the time you stood up you noticed a couple of Marines next to you.

"By the Emperor..." said one in disbelief.

You looked at what once was the stump where your right arm used to be and now you found a new limb that was formed by pure electrical energy. This new arm was fast, incredibly fast, as fast as light and seemed to be incorporeal to some degree. Soon you noticed several other different things on you, your four eyes also glowed and were able to cast electrical rays and overall an aura of static energy surrounded you and your bionics, overcharging them to a never seen degree.

The Astartes that noticed your changes aimed their bolters and weapons at you, unsure of what happened and if you were a mutant. Luckily for you there was a Librarian nearby that had seen and sensed everything. He easily overpowered you and ignored the fight that was developing to use his powers on you. By placing his palm on your head he somehow scanned your mind in the search of impurities and mutation, and he found none.

"You have become a psyker...this is indeed a sorcerous result or you have been a latent psyker all your life." He answered both curious and worried, it seems that the mere fact of touching you had overcharged his power armor and made him end temporally without energy, in fact he had to remove his own helmet to say those words because his vox-caster was fried.
>>
>>43035889
Confusion and other strange feelings invaded you as things were becoming more and more bizarre as the minutes passed. On the distance Karelia was still flying and using her powers on the Marines, her agility and telekinetic powers were enough to let her avoid most of the Bolter rounds and shield the few ones that were about to impact her. From time to time and as if this were a mere game she launches several bombs of mutating energy, the ones who are impacted turn into mutants filled with alien features like what happened before.

The Scions who mutate are no match for the Astartes that are next to them but the few Space Marines that become affected are a massive threat to anybody who is close, be it Scion or Astartes.

Hello Ax! Glad suprise to see you running this evening, hope your doing well. Woho Heretek time!

>Try to use your newly acquired powers with the mutant Scions and Marines.

The Astartes were here to save us, that was their duty, that was the reason they were created for, you better act as a support for the few surviving Scions in their clash against their mutant brethren.

"Perhaps the Emperor has been fit to bless me on this day. Whatever the reason is immaterial, right now all I must do is use whatever is at my disposal to rid this world of enemies of the Imperium."

You tried to grab your plasma gun and noticed that it was impossible, your energy arm was intangible enough to not being able to hold it at all. Still, you noticed that every time you touched the weapon with your electric fingers its coils illuminated even more, you were able to recharge its fuel cells and overcharge its power.

Such magnificent energy made you remember the True Stormblade and the Powerblade that you used to have attached to your arm. As if it were a living being the energy of your arm shapeshifted and took the form of a blade of concentrated energy that would be able to cut as well as a power weapon.

Not knowing how to call such a creation you decided to call it Bioelectric Armblade for now. Using your overcharged legs you managed to run at a dashing speed, leaving behind a trail of dust and sparks. It was time to attack your enemies, you got your eyes on a mutated marine, it had been almost completly invaded by tyranid mutations and it had a very few remaining humanity on it left. From its adamantium and ceramite armor several chitinous spikes and even a new couple of arms that ended in two bone made swords appeared.

The Tyranid Marine was a massive danger that was quickly dwindling our forces. Under his mutated hooves there were several Scions and a couple of Astartes, one of them being a Terminator. You had to kill it, no matter the cost.
>>
You know I think we might actually make it to the end of the 'heretek' quest remaining loyal.

That aside, speculation on our newfound psychic powers?

We were an artificial blank right? Perhaps that was done to quell some latent psychic powers the magi had noticed, or perhaps rather than simply quell the powers they required a psyker for their experiments rather than just any old person. Can't be a lot of psykers on a forge world quite so readily available to them as a lowly techpriest.

Or is this possibly Tzeentech doing his thing since Karelia botched the ascension? His favour has moved more directly onto us since we're constantly able to scrape through and he now wants to make us his latest champion, starting by bestowing psychic powers amidst the warped mutagenic confusion? From here the voices in our head will take care of the rest and we'll find some means to ascend ourselves?
>>
>>43036552
---

Using a mix of your magnetic soles and your wings you impulsed yourself in the air with such force and strength that you almost managed to touch the ceiling and the arcs that formed it. Descending like an electric meteor you managed to land on the chest of the unsuspecting Tyranoid, you then plunged your energy blade deep into the weak point of its neck, just like what you did with the Raptor Sorcerer.

The sword managed to pierce its armor, it wasn't truly solid and thus it was able to rip almost anything that got in its way. Then as if it were a Tesla goad the creature started to suffer an electric shock of at least four thousand volts. Due to the effects of the energy discharge its two hearts were being constantly defibrillator and its armor was suffering an internal overcharge, it wasn't until its body caught fire that you retracted the sword.

You jumped from its chest and saw it falling on its back and bleeding profusely from several points and smoke coming out from its entire frame. Then you fell to your knees.

Your bionics might be overcharged but you are still a being of flesh, you were tired and already felt cramped.

So far we know the following:

>Heracor knows almost nothing of its past before having the brain chip installed.
>The brain chip supposedly turned him into a work drone, akin to a servitor
>One day, for unknown reasons the chip ceases to function <== Quest starting point
>Two Magos were the responsible of the creation and installation of the Chip
>Magos Hellenica, a woman who wears an entire suit of armor similar to a dreadnought, she was the one who designed the chip, and Magos Axsiselios, a member of the Biologis caste who has a near perfect body and knows everything about medicine and the human form, he was the one who installed it.
>Heracor's homeworld, Telematha is a forge world that has no water on the surface and relies on underground water seas and deposits to dump shit and cool machines.
>At first psychic powers were completely useless with him, to the point of deflecting back with violent results.
>As time passes and he becomes more social and grows in bonds this Blankness seems to start fading away.
>While taking care of his adopted daughter he starts sleeping in a bathtub to leave her the bed. He comments that he might be vat-grown because those who have been artificially created usually sleep better in bathtubs instead on regular beds.
>We have now become a Psyker.

So yeah, any theories about what do I have planned? Keep in mind that after this arc it will come the last one and everything will be explained it there.

>>43036658

>getting close to the mutagenic warp source without ally fire to distract it whilst being a psyker

>>43036705
So what, the magi wanted to mass produce psykers or something? We were the first test subject, but their attempts to directly control their creation (via the servitor-esque brainchip) had the effect of quashing the psychic powers themselves?

Or did they take some guy and strip his brain of synapses in an effort to rewire it far more, thus imbuing it with strong psyker powers? They thought they failed with Heracor, and so shoved him to servitortude because waste not want not bodies?

Then it turns out that actually it was successful, but required several years of emotional development to grow the synapses?

>Right now you are like an overclocked computer, you have to continue enduring until the end. Continue fighting the mutants.

You turned around and found your next target. Pain was just a mental state, machines do not feel pain, be like a machine.

The closest mutant was a Scion whose mutation didn't became stable and ended turning into what looked like an amorphous blob of flesh. The only nonmutated parts of its body were his head and his right arm. He was apparently unable to move and was trying to drag itself towards his own equipment, that had apparently been violently and unintentionally hurled when he suffered the spasm of mutation. When he noticed your presence he looked at you.

"Please good sir! KILL ME! I WOULD DO IT MYSELF BUT I CANNOT REACH MY WEAPONS!"

The mutation didn't seemed to have reached its mind but still, such a creature couldn't live in this world. You had to euthanize it. With a mental order and as if it were a regular bionic you exchanged your armblade and turned it into a hand once again, then you slowly walked towards him and let your intangible arm go inside its skull. You would overcharge his brain, make him die without pain.
>>
>>43037228

As soon as his brain was at your reach you clenched your fist and felt how your rage turned into energy discharges that made him spasm violently and die quickly. It reached internal peace shortly after that; the instant you removed your hand from its head its nose and ears started bleeding profusely.

You looked at your hand for a second and focused on the fingers, it was a weapon, you were a weapon. The moment you became and Skitarii you turned into a weapon of the Omnissiah. The moment you thought that your fingers turned into long claws that reached at least twenty inches in lenght. You slashed the air a couple of times and noticed that your claws left behind a trail of ionized air.

As an Skitarii you were a weapon of the Omnissiah, and the Omnissiah had blessed your missing arm by giving you and exchange that can become into a power weapon of almost any form.

Once again you ran and dashed towards your enemies, this time with your claw cutting the air as you quickly strode. You killed every mutant that you found by piercing their heart or brain, the overcharge of those two vital organs made them die near instantly.

Your last victim was an Astartes that had gotten Crystalline and Kroot features, it was agile and resilient enough to become a danger to even the other Marines. You activated your Noise Dampener and ran towards him. Somehow, surely by subsonic vibrations that he was able to sense due to its crystalline core, it was able to detect you. Still, you were way too fast for him and you became able to plunge your fist deep inside its two hearts, you grabbed each one inside your clawed palm and pressed them until they entered into a heart attack, then you sank your arm even more and vertically slashed its spine until you reached his brain. In an instant you had left him with a double cardiac arrest, a paralysis and a hemorrhaging brain.
>>
>>43037247
>In an instant you had left him with a double cardiac arrest, a paralysis and a hemorrhaging brain.
Fuckin' brutal.

It also occurs to me that we might be really good at invasive surgery without having to be invasive.
>>
>>43037247
After his death you looked at Karelia, she was still acting as if this were a simple game but it was obvious that the constant rain of Bolter and Plasma Fire was affecting her. The marines were winning, there were now dozens of dead bodies of mutated victims on the floor and there were more Marines coming along the way. As you overlooked the area you found the dead body of the Inquisitor Dhroznak, he never managed to see his dream come true.

Then, Karelia started laughing, she raised her arms and all the mutants, be it deceased or alive started floating and gravitating around her. The Marines thought this was a defensive measure and started shooting at those bodies but it was to no effort, they weren't living shields, they were just a genetic appetizer.

"OPEN FIRE!" Screamed a Marine Sergeant. Among the Marines that raised their weapons and opened fire there was Juliannus. You were only able to recognize him due him wielding the CombiBolter that you had crafted for him.

With the twist of a hand she turned them all into a fine mist and absorbed them all onto herself...

Once all the remnants of the mutants were on herself she somehow caught fire, it wasn't a normal fire thought, it had a cerulean coloration and from itself several poking arms and spectral faces could be seen, all laughing and whispering secrets that none should hear.

Creating a massive disk the fire suddenly expanded and covered the entire ceiling of the chamber we were at. From that chamber more fire arms and faces appeared and even a tentacle and a wing or two.

The walls and the floor started collapsing, if she died she would take us all with us.

"Warriors of the Deathwatch!" Screamed an Astartes in terminator armor from the Salamanders.

"If we are going to die we will die with honor, for we are the alien hunters and today our foe is nothing but a conglomerate of all we hate and despise!"

He raised his thunder hammer and defiantly pointed it at Karelia, that was still floating but now looked somewhat tired.

"Scions! Hammer of the Emperor! You still might have a live to life. You all have done enough to gain the respect of the God Emperor and a side next to him on the other side. Feel free to leave now and experience the future that you deserve!"

A couple of Scions were taken out, they weren't cowards but the ones who were more wounded and knew that they weren't in shape to fight and would become a nuisance. Some others also left when they had the chance.

I'm not the guy who posted that, and from a fluff and story perspective it makes perfect sense, after all we've been tangling with some nasty shit throughout the quest. Its just from a mechanics perspective it is quite annoying, and seems to constantly drain us of options. It seems whenever we upgrade we do more replacing than the other, even though I'm sure if I were to review the archives it would probably be the opposite, it just feels that way. Lastly, and this is a little meaningless nitpick, whenever we lose limbs or parts so fast it takes away from the tension abit naratively. I mean you've done an excellent job of illustrating when heracor's in trouble and heavily damaged as opposed to just functionally wounded, but in both cases he seems to have the same amount of limb or function loss. Its just slightly arbitrary. In any case I love this quest and your storry so keep on keeping on.

Unable to truly grab your heavier plasma weaponry you decide to use your Arc and Phospex Pistols to shoot at her until your ammo deplenish. All you want is for this madness to end and return with your only family, Alaria.

It seems that the fire above her is exerting a distortion effect of some sort. Several laser beams, plasma bolts and Bolter rounds end bending mid air and not hitting her at all.

You looked at your right energy arm and saw it turn into a blade once again, this time thought it was way longer and broader. Your entire body started illuminating with energy as if you were a supernova. You extended your arms and wings while covered in light, sparks and electrical arcs.

Your figure was so imposing and holy looking that even the Astartes moved out of your way. With a jump you felt as if you a bolt of energy that could move in every direction with the speed of light.

On your back the warriors started shooting, in front of you Karelia also sent a salvo of warpfire and mutagenic energy blasts directed at you. To you, everything looked as if it moved in a slow motion of some sort. Without a sweat you were able to avoid and dodge all the projectiles that were coming from your back and towards you. For everybody else it looked as if you had turned into a bolt of light that crossed the distance in a erratic manner.
>>
>>43038593
Electromancy is fun
>>

When you reached her time returned to its normal flow. Now that you were so close you were able to notice her warped body in detail, she might look like Karelia but she was gone. There wasn't nothing good from her inside anymore.

"Karelia! You are a hypocrite! You have always treated me like dirt and abandoned me at the first chance! You thought I was the worst for committing crimes and now you have become and arch-heretic!"

She got in shock for a moment the moment you mentioned that and now that you knew that she was gone you completely ceased having any kind of remorse and started to unload a rain of fists on her muscular body. Your left and physical arm was able to punch her while your right one shocked and paralyzed her with every impact. A multicolored blood started to sprout from her nose and mouth, your attack was being effective. Then, she suddenly reacted and fought back.

"Heretic? I might be an heretic, but also a Martyr! I have been a victim my whole life for the blessing that I have had and If my death is enough to bring a better future for all the oppressed of the Imperium then be it because in the end the Mutants and Psykers will heir the Galaxy!"

You had enough! First you have to abandon Oihan and her crew, then you have to move away from Liwet, the only person you have loved! After that you are abandoned by the only person that seemed to care about you and now that same person has started a crusade against all you believe and have fought for!

After your breakdown somehow, all your powers disappeared suddenly. In fact you ended being thrown back by an energy shock, similar to the ones that you unconsciously created when you were attacked with a psychical energy. The launch was so big that you flew backwards with enough force to make you land on the floor and feel completely paralyzed from the pain. Feeling on the verge of the unconsciousness you became able to witness how the support from the Scions and the Astartes was starting to breach her defenses. They managed to blown her left arm and overall damaged several other points of her body. The more weakened she was the more violent the blue fire became.

It seemed that for some unknown reason, you had become completely blank again, being so close to her when this happened managed to disrupt her defenses and thus she isn't able to deflect the attacks anymore.
Shortly after Juliannus, an Apothecary of the Blood Ravens and a Scion field medic came to your aid. Since the Apothecary was more versed in Astartes anatomy he decided to leave the human medic in charge and acted as a nurse of some sort under his command something that amused me to some degree and filled the medic with pride and honor. They ended placing some muscle relaxants on your body, some bio gel to threat the wounds and a few blessed bandages.

"This man is stabilized but he needs to properly rest and be looked upon. I'll call some of my men to take you to the Cruiser in orbit."

"No." Said Juliannus. "I'll do it."

The medic became pretty surprised but ended nodding in agreement and then returned to the aid of his companions.

Juliannus hold you into his arms as if you were a small boy and kicking a massive Logic Engine out of the way he started ascending into the exit.

>Ask him what will happen now.
>Tell him that you can fight for a little longer, observe how the battle develops.
>Stay silent, try to rest.
>Write in.

We need to be sure this ends without any further warp shenanigans.
>>
>>43038633

I want to watch it end.
>>
>>43038633
>>Ask him what will happen now.

Always listen to the medics, they're telling you shit for a reason
>>
>>43038633
>Tell him that you can fight for a little longer, observe how the battle develops.

"No...no!"

Now that your powers were gone you only had one arm once more, using it you punched Juliannus on the chest, you needed to get his attention.

"I need to see...I need to see." You couldn't end the phrase, a mix of exhaustion and apathy invaded you.

With a sight the marine descended and entered once again into the chamber.

"I guess it doesn't matters anymore." He cryptically said.

The lasers, plasma, bolter rounds and psyker attacks were stating to become way too much for Karelia. From time to time she managed to cast a ball of energy with her only remaining hand but even if she managed to launch it the few unlucky ones who ended mutated were quickly finished before they could wreak havoc.

At the end they managed to explode her two legs and part of her waist. The fire above her became more and more violent and the ground trembled with force, the pyramid was starting to collapse, soon the damage would reach the nuclear power plants and the catastrophe would reach apocalyptic levels. Karelia ended dying, or thats what you thought seeing with your tired eyes. It wasn't a laser, a plasma ball or a Bolter round the projectile that ended killing her, but her own sorcery.

Apparently the magic fire ended knowing that Karelia was about to be defeated and decided to take her as a payment of some sort. A couple of avian like and fire covered hands appeared from the ceiling and grabbed her mutilated body. She screamed in pain and desperation while yelling something about needing only more time. Just as she grabbed her the Warpsteel mask on her face left her and became a viscous mass that slid towards the fingers of the giant bird hands and turned into a ring that rested on the base of the creature's left index finger. Then she became completely dragged into the jaws of hell and the blue warpfire collapsed onto itself, leaving behind nothing but a charred and melted vault that couldn't hold its own weight.

Everybody started evacuating using the different exits. Juliannus grabbed you and ran upwards along with several other Scions and Astartes.

"Why did you say it didn't mattered now...we have risked our lives by looking how she perished."

He became mute, you were unsure if he had heard you so you started asking a second time but he muted and ran in another direction.

It was strange why he did move away from the evacuation flow. You could see behind him many people running and trying to save their lives. The level you were at was pretty high and pretty near to were the spaceport were the evacuation aircraft was located.

"You see..." He started to explain, pretty calmly.

"This Deathwatch Station is a lighthouse in a sea of darkness. It is the last Imperial Bastion in this particular part of the Universe, up ahead there are only countless of Ork Klans and Tyranid Fleets. It was the reason of why it was so secret...they were the defenders of a gate that the enemy was desiring to cross but couldn't even find."

He started walking towards one of the windows, it was a glass panel that showed the depiction of an Astartes killing an Eldar farseer.

"With the destruction of this Gate it will be only a matter of years for the Orks, Tyranids or both to flood onto this breach and mine the Imperium...and it has been thanks to you."

"W-what!?" You screamed. Juliannus stopped nursing you and grabbed you from the neck with his massive fist.

"You truly believed my story!? That I was an Astartes that couldn't be transported into its personal prison and that is why I had given a cell in the deepest part of the HQ? That by chance I am the last one of my Chapter?"

He calmly walked towards the Glass panel, with you still on his fist, being so tired as you were and with only one arm there was nothing you could do.

"Thanks Heracor, but your usefulness ends here. Hydra Dominatus!"

As if you were a dead weight he launched you across the glass panel and broke it in a thousand pieces. Just as you were falling you managed to see several Aquila Landers and other transports going towards the upper atmosphere. Then, a massive hole ripped the sky and from it appeared the Explorator Cruiser, the Lux Illustrans Inventionis. Still, it didn't mattered because now you were surely falling to your death, even if you managed to survive the fall you would have to deal with an exploding nuclear powerplant, a collapsing pyramid of gargantuan dimensions and not drowning on the sea that surrounds it all.

Everyone is betraying us! Alpha scum!
>>
>>43039289
Alpha Legionaire who corrupted Karelia and possibly Mellizune, Alaria, Liwet and everyone else on our old ship?
>>
I bet the moment we finally return to Liwet and Alaria the former will turn out to be a daemonette and the latter will have secretly been a tyranid ripper in a clever disguise all along.
>>
>>43039289
Damn. Thanks for running Ax! I was not expecting that at all.
>>
>>43039348
This is the end of this Arc, the moment we return we will see Alaria and Mellizune changed. Can't spoil if it will be a good or bad change.

Liwet will finally return. Hell, all the characters will return, its the last arc after all.

Have all a sad and grumpy Karelia who is binge eating ice cream after being defeated.
>>
>>43039412
is this the part where we get the giant mecha and punch chaos to death in awesome robot battles?
>>
>>43039460
This next story arc will have Titans yeah. We have had enough of chaos tho. We won't be facing them.
>>
>>43039412
After this I Assume Alaria has gone full heretek on us and Mellizune is a mini-Karelia. Liwet returns only to explode into Noctum and Oihan and her troops get shot down by an elder Cruiser just before we meet them.
>>
>>43039331
He corrupted Karelia, the rest were expendable at best, and that included us.
>>
>>43039451
Karelia will always remain best girl in my heart.
>>
Well now Heracor has someone else to seek revenge against.

You are welcome
>>
>>43039507
So I take that as a yes then, since it'd make sense for him to turn everyone he could to make it that much worse. He ignored us because of our demi blankdom, but I imagine he could twist Melli and Liwet easily enough, especially considering Karelia's proclivity for mind rape.
>>
>>43039569
I don't think it's really worth risking at this point. The entire ship crew is basically in need of eradication, including alas the girls.
>>
Shit, you guys make me want to spoil and explain how I have things planned. Still, I cannot, I am sorry.
>>
>>43039625
NOPE. TOO LATE. BROKE OUR TRUST, EVERYONE DIES NOW.
>>
>>43039609
Jeez, man. Check first, or you're just like one of those extremely puritan inquisitors that no one likes.
>>
>>43039625
Well by this point everyone on the ship is going to be killed as>>43039609 points out. Since Karelia was a powerful mind rapey Inquisitor BEFORE she fell and she could easily have turned the entire ship in our absence. Meaning everyone on it and anyone bearing her name are going to be executed. Heracor is the only one who MIGHT get out of it since he wasn't there for the last bit, was instrumental in beating her and is psy resistant. This is pre-supposing we don't die. The Imperium and any pure SM would not give them the chance. "There is no such thing as innocence, only degrees of guilt" Is Imperial creed for a reason.
>>
>>43039648
Karelia was fairly puritan but not puritan enough. AND LOOK WHERE THAT GOT HER.
>>
>>43039681
Well, considering we've been pumped full of not-dying solution, still have our wings and gear, and now have another thing to feel revengance for, I think we have a fighting chance
>>
>>43039681
As newly appointed Magos Errant and probably the highest ranked person around now, we have the authority to check and then blow it up. Plus we didn't blow up an Explorator Cruiser in a Space Hulk, we may as well recover valuables first.
>>
>>43039646
JEEZ SORRY

>>43039681
Well, our character is a vengeance seeker, and whats a better motivator to fight than a dead daughter.

>>43039713
Dude Karelia was paranoid and obsessively observed people as much as he could as if it all were a Sims game. She was on Tzeentch's game since the start, she just didn't knew it, and neither did we.
>>
>>43039759
>whats a better motivator to fight than a dead daughter.
A dead daughter that died by our own hands as we have to put her down due to her heresy

>paranoid
If being paranoid made you a pawn of Tzeentch the only logical conclusion is that he's been the emperor all along. The Imperium is paranoia incarnate.
>>
>>43039759
You aren't going to change what happened on the ship just because of what everyone's saying, right? That would be cheap. I, for one, do not have a grimdark despair diet. I take it in doses.
>>
>>43039648
Given who fell, what just happened, mind rape was her schtick before she fell, and her daughter could easily do a repeat if she did indoctrinate her, and there is no easy way to tell if she did. Yeah it's getting purged.

>>43039731
Given we got tossed through something that takes hits from tank sized waves, and Axsisel's love of our shit breaking, I'm assuming all our wings are broken along with our back and skull.

>>43039754
Magos have less than no authority over Space Marines. Given what happened they would be the ones purging the ship, or just shooting it out of the sky.

>>43039759
>Well, our character is a vengeance seeker, and whats a better motivator to fight than a dead daughter.
Except we'll never find the culprit(cause lol Alpha legion) and Heracor would likely get put down by a Space Marine even if he did survive his fall. he ahs no authority over them and if they think he's tainted they'd shoot him without a second thought.

Also Paranoia and micro management do not automatically make someone tzeentchian.

>>43039837
Same here, but it's the only logical thing in the framework of the setting.
>>
All your questions will be answered on the next quest thread this Wednesday! Until then, good night!
