So, even if we subdue an abyssal, how do we keep it in captivity? They probably have the strength to break down walls and smash through doors, so a regular jail won't do much. My first instinct would be to just throw them in a big pit, kind of like a drydock, since they probably can't jump out, but who says they can't just punch holes in the pit wall to use as handholds? So my next idea is to tie them up and suspend them from the ceiling. We'll need to figure out what the best method to tie them up, use techniques that won't let them bust out with brute force while also ensuring they aren't injured. We'll also need some sturdy infrastructure so the whole thing doesn't collapse from the abyssal's weight, I assume.

tl;dr: Keeping an abyssal bound requires abyssal bondage scenes.

Arizona is using her extremely heavily modified, modernized form from the early 30's. If she had come back in her original 1915 form, complete with cage masts, no AA guns and a shitload of really wet 5" mounts, you might have an argument.

It's a lot different when they can speak and form their own opinions. We've already seen that some of the girls have bad reactions when exposed to basic tools like a power saw, for all we know we're pretty much asking them to mutilate themselves for power.

Planefag has spent most of these threads trying to nail in the fact that they're more than just ships or people and they have their own thoughts and fears that we can't anticipate because of that.
