since i wasnt here last thread i would just like to take this moment while we all wait and point out how stupid you all where for choosing the carrier option, did some of you forget that we are in a crossover with METAL GEAR where the US goverment is always corrupt and/or part of a conspiracy, not to mention the fact that one should never trust the goverment in this kind of story. “That is true.” Charlotte replies. “But what is this about a super carrier?” Charlotte asks.

“Must be the 7th fleet.” you answer.

“The Medivac has just come over the horizon.” Reinforce tells you while wordlessly telling you the location and heading.

“Already? That was quicker than I thought.” you reply, hiding the worry at just how close the CBG is.

“That's not what I mean. What is a US Navy super carrier doing here?” Charlotte ask again.

“Yes, what are they doing here? And why were we not informed about this?” Cecilia adds to Charlotte's question.

“I want to say they were here to observe. But, they might have been the contingency plan in case we failed.” you answer in a somewhat cold tone.

Charlotte, Cecilia, Houki and Rin are taken aback by your answer. Only Laura seems unaffected by your answer. She might be the only one besides you that understands how the military works in times like these.

“Impossible. There is no non-IS weapon system that can even compete.” Cecilia states confidently while hiding a hint of uncertainty.

“I wouldn't be so sure of that. With a military budget as large as the US, there is bound to be some Black projects with essentially limitless budgets operating in complete secrecy.” Laura replies with a matter of fact tone.

You can slowly see the joy of victory from the girls' faces drain as more and more weight of the situation they are in bears down on them. It must have never crossed their minds just how far reaching this is.

The girls' complexions slightly improve but their gloom doesn't disappear at all. Their first mission and they were thrown into a massive clusterfuck. They must be completely stressing out right now.

“From what I guess from the situation, the 7th Fleet was ordered to stop the situation from progressing any further. I'm guessing that the plan was to launch something called the Icarus protocol.” you begin to explain.

Charlotte, Rin and Cecilia grimace at your explanation. Houki is visibly shocked at your words while Laura listens closely.

“I don't know any of the details but you can only guess that the Icarus protocol is some sort of anti-IS plan or weapons system. Orimura-sensei told me that Walken was delaying it as long as he could. That probably explains why he was the one to ask to return Natasha.” you continue to explain.

“Then what about Gospel's support crew? And all that equipment couldn't have been moved so quickly.” Charlotte asks.

“Why didn't Orimura-sensei tell us all about it?” Cecilia asks, her voice somewhat stressed at the new information.

“American logistics is the best in the world. Moving people and material across the Pacific would be trivial. As for why Orimura-sensei only told me, probably because of how you are reacting now. She wanted all of you to concentrate on the task at hand. Constantly looking over your shoulder for something over the horizon would have only distracted you.” you answer.

“That still doesn't explain how quickly the 7th fleet was able to move.” Laura points out.

“They probably mobilized as soon as they figured out Gospel was heading for Japan.” you reply.

“Doesn't this all sound fishy? First Doctor Shinonono drops in to give Houki a new IS and then an experimental American IS goes crazy which heads straight for us. This sounds way too convenient for everyone.” Rin asks after much thought.

She certainly is right, way too many pieces conveniently line up for this situation.

“Alright, but I need to put Natasha down.” you yell so you could be heard over the rotor wash.

The Para-rescue captain nods in acknowledgment. The other two para-rescue men lay out the stretcher in front of you. You gently place Natasha down as the Pjs quickly check her condition.

“Are you really going along with them?” Charlotte asks, worry in her voice.

“I want to make sure she will be all right.” you answer before undeploying the Maeve.

You softly drop down to the ground next to the working Pjs. They have already strapped her down to the stretcher and have applied a saline drip to her arm.

“I'm going with you.” Laura tells you after she undeploys her Schwarzer Regen.

“Me too.” Cecilia says in reply, also undeploying her Blue Tears.

Laura and Cecilia both runs to your side before each taking one of your arms.

Houki clears her throat before saying, “John is right. We should make sure our charge is safely delivered.”

Houki drops down after she undeploys her Akatsubaki reaches out to hold onto the back of your IS uniform in her hand.

“We also have to make sure you are safe.” Houki mumbles out, the rotor wash making her barely audible.

Charlotte sighs, “I suppose if you are going, we should go together.”

The para-rescue captain gives you a thumbs up as the other two pick up the stretcher with Natasha.

“You coming with us Rin?” you ask as you follow the captain.

“Someone has to reign in your lunacy!” Rin yells at you with an accusing voice.

Rin quickly follows you into the Medivac. You take a seat next to where Natasha is set down. Cecilia to your right, Houki to your left. Charlotte sits on the opposite side of Cecilia while Rin takes a seat on the other side of Natasha, next to a PJ monitoring Natasha's condition. Laura finally takes a seat on your lap.

“Laura.” you calmly state.

“This is fine.” Laura replies with no embarrassment.

You can hear the Crew Chief and PJ Captain whisper to each other before all the other men begin snickering and quietly laughing. You can feel your face become warm. You gently push Laura off your lap to your left.

Now that everyone is safely seated, the Medivac quickly lurches skyward to her mother carrier. Half way in the flight, Natasha fitfully regains consciousness.

“Where am I?” Natasha weakly asks, disoriented from the whole ordeal.

“You're on a Medivac heading to USN Enterprise. Don't worry, you're safe here. They were able to save you.” the PJ monitoring Natasha's condition answers her.

You lean over so Natasha can see you before saying, “Don't worry, we were able to stop Gospel by depleting all of its energy. The three of you are safe.”

The monitoring PJ gives you an odd look when you say 3 but otherwise continues to do his job.

“I'm happy to hear that. Mary and Silverio Gospel are safe.” Natasha replies as waves of relief wash over her.

You see her relax and fall back into a more restful sleep. Everyone stays quiet for the rest of the flight, mindful of how strenuous it was for Natasha.

Barely even 5 minutes later, you can see the Carrier Battle Group. Far too close. You quickly pass over the attending missile destroyers and land without delay onto the Enterprise. Bold white number at the front of the super carrier flight deck indicate that this is the CVN-80 Enterprise.

After landing safely onto the flight deck, you can hear the engine spool down. The Crew Chief doesn't open the doors, instead waiting for the entire Medivac to be wheeled onto the elevator and brought down into the interior hanger of the Enterprise. You aren't sure what is going on but you wait and see. Once completely inside, the Crew Chief opens to Medivac doors to two groups of attending people, one wearing civilian clothes and the other wearing medical scrubs. Natasha is quickly taken out and placed onto a waiting gurney. The group with civilian clothes gently take off the deactivated Silverio Gospel around Natasha's neck towards a cordoned off area of the hangers in the opposite direction.

You see the two groups head off in different directions. You decide to follow the civilian group holding onto the deactivated Silverio Gospel.

“You should go with Natasha. I need to handle something first.” you tell the girls.

“Denied.” Laura replies without hesitation or doubt.

“That's right. We came here to make sure both of you are fine.” Charlotte adds with some iron in her voice.

“It would be pointless if we didn't follow you all the way.” Houki tells you while making sure her grip on your sleeve is firm.

“We are in this together. All the way to the end.” Cecilia announces as she firmly keeps your arm in between her cleavage.

Rin just hangs her head at the display.

Following the civilian group to the cordoned off area, you are stopped by a pair of MP guarding the entrance to the area hidden by drapes. The pair of Mps look at you with a mix of jealousy and duty as they guard the entrance. Cecilia and Laura hold onto your arm a bit tighter in response to their stares.

“It's fine. They can pass.” Walken tells the two Mps.

“Yes sir.” the leading MP responds, letting you pass. His eyes are still full of jealousy as you pass.

“Sorry if it took me a while to get here. I've never been on a carrier before.” Walken tells you with a smile.

You notice Walken is actually in uniform. A pair of oak leaves on his USAF uniform.

“A Major.” you state as Walken leads you into the cordoned off part of the hanger.

“They wouldn't leave this to someone inexperienced or without the necessary clearance.” Walken replies.

Behind the curtain, a hastily installed IS dock is surrounded by some new equipment you haven't seen before. The person holding the deactivated Silverio Gospel places down the silver cross onto the center of a horizontal IS mount. A tech operating an attached terminal deploys Gospel. Gospel is firmly locked down onto the mount.

“You all did a fine job. You did worry us there for a second there.” Walken tells you as you all watch this going on.

“That is right. You should not worry us with being unable to respond to our comms.” Cecilia adds, keeping your arm firmly in between her breasts.

“You should first remove the IS core.” you tell what you assume is Gospel's support crew.

The support crew hesitates at first before ignoring you.

“You heard him. Remove the core.” Walken commands.

The support crew instantly reacts and begins to remove the core. They reach past the armored chest piece down and removes the gently glowing IS core. The tech then places the core into a piece of equipment that can monitor the it.

“Would you mind telling us why the core should be removed?” Walken asks you, now looking at you.
