This place makes no fucking sense.

It wasn't so bad at first – in fact, you'd just assumed you'd wandered into another patch of the corruption that has leaked into the city – but when the buildings to either side receded into the vague and formless distance and the ground dropped away beneath your feet, you knew something was wrong. You turned back, then, but the path you followed led you nowhere – not out of the chaos, not anywhere. Just to more endlessly elongated darkness. A perfect maze, and you blundered right into it.

Your name is Deathseeker Petra, and-

Wait, no. That's not your name – not the name you were born with anyway. Your birth name was one of the first things HE took from you when you first made the pact. Since then, it's been a long slow collapse, traces of your past chewed up and discarded at HIS discretion. Soon, there will be nothing left of you but a hollow shell, dragged along by the desire to spill blood. Maybe it won't even get that far – you might die here, in this labyrinth, with your work unfinished.

It's just not fair. You've got weapons and armour sufficient to kill anything that you come across, but you might starve to death here. It's almost enough to make you want to throw down your arms and surrender yourself to the vile demons that skulk in the shadows. At least then you could die with some shred of pride intact.
>>
>>42886456

With no other choice, you press on through the labyrinth until the formless masses around you gather up and return to some semblance of shape. Not the familiar buildings you were hoping to see, but twisted structures that seem to exist in opposition to logic and reason. Once, you saw a collection of drawings, sketches really, by an artist whose name has been taken from you – just another thing you can blame HIM for. They were insane things, impossible buildings and staircases that formed perfect loops. It is those drawings that come to mind when you look at the structures surrounding you.

Sighing, you make your way into a crooked doorway and slump to the ground. After a pause, you take your most prized possession out and stare at it, studying your distorted reflection in the polished surface. A chunk of what might be volcanic glass, perfectly shaped to fit in your open palm, and glinting with an enigmatic inner light. The Deathstone – said to offer power over death itself. If only you could figure out how to harness its power!

You were told once, you think, but the memories have long since been stripped from your mind – HIS doing, of course.

“A fine mess you've got us into,” a sneering voice calls out to you, coming from some distant corner of the void, “Lost. Hungry. Hopeless.”

That's the last thing you need, HIS bitter complaints ringing in your ear whenever you try and think about your next move. Staring deeper into the Deathstone's inky depths, you try to focus your mind on how it came into your possession. Something stirs in your memory, some scrap that HE is yet to devour. Not quite an answer, but a hint – how did you get the Deathstone?

Yes, you remember now. You'd been resting in the burned out husk of a church – even with the damage, it was still the most secure building around – but you'd woken up in the middle of the night. There had been a man there, a priest, and he had been the one to give you the stone. The power to oppose both God and Lucifer, he had claimed, and that had been enough for you. Taking something like that from a nameless stranger – you'd been naïve, then, in the early days of the new world. Trusting. Foolish, perhaps. Maybe it was all a pleasant lie, something to give you something to set your sights on.

In either case you remember talking with the priest for a while, exchanging words under the full moon. What you talked about, however, you cannot recall. Had there been violence, by the end of it? No, you don't think so – HE seems content to leave you with the memory of your violent acts. Perhaps you were told how to use the damn thing, but that information is lost to you now. Just another sick joke HE played on you – the bastard.

You never saw the priest again, you can say that much with certainty. It's been a long time since, more than a month, and you've seen hardly any other humans. Just the various breeds of filth that crawl through the city, laying a claim to buildings that they could never create. Parasites. Scum. The thought alone is enough to bring a new rush of strength to your limbs, and you pull yourself to your feet. Time to hunt.

...If only leaving this damn maze was as easy as that. Scowling hard at the glowing path beneath your feet, you pick a random direction and begin to walk.
>>
>>42886747

You wander for a while longer, with no change in scenery or sign that you might be getting anywhere, before an unexpected noise causes you to halt. A voice, rendered ethereal by distance and distortion, calling out to you.

“Hello?” the voice calls out, “Is someone there? Please, I just want to help you!”

You never expected to hear another human voice, least of all in a place like this. For a moment, you're so blinded by optimism – hope, even – that you find yourself taking a few eager steps towards the source of the voice. Then, you force yourself to stop. Think carefully, you tell yourself. In a place like this, any offer that sounds too good to be true probably is. Then again, if this is a trap of some kind, it might at least lead you to the master of this awful realm. Once you've found them, it's just a matter of killing them until you're free.

“Are you really that stupid?” HE asks you, HIS drawling voice low in your ear, “Do you want to die? The master of this realm, the being that's made a plaything out of you, and you're hurrying to challenge them? You really are a fool.”

Maybe you are a fool – only an idiot would have made a pact with HIM in the first place. Then again, you shouldn't complain. You knew exactly what you were getting into. From the moment you became the Black God's sword, you knew that you were doomed. Still, you hadn't expected this – the erosion of your memories, and the constant pain as HE gnaws on your bones like a cancer. Only stupidity or desperation could drive someone to make a bargain like that.

In your case, it was desperation – but for what?

In the early days of the new world, before you were capable of defending yourself, you needed any edge you could get. Not for any higher goal or just cause, but solely for survival. Even if taking HIS bargain meant you'd die young, you preferred that to the alternative. Now, you're not so sure – living each day with HIS malevolent hunger eating you up from the inside is hardly fit to be called living at all, even without your slowly deteriorating mind. A heavy price to pay, indeed.

You ignore HIS sneering words and head towards the source of that distant voice. Maybe salvation, maybe destruction, but anything is better than rotting away in some desolate corner. If HE doesn't like it, he can just fucking deal with it – you're in charge here, despite what HE might think.

“Oh, you're getting closer now,” the voice croons, “Just follow my voice, follow the sound of my voice. Only I know the true path, so come to me...”

Definitely a trap, you think to yourself with a bitter smirk. Whoever is luring you to your fate must be confident – they're not even pretending to be subtle any more. You'll play along for now, and wait for them to show themselves. When they do, you'll show that bastard that humans like you are hardly toothless. Your hand strays to the rusted, tarnished blade at your hip with an unconscious eagerness, preparing for battle with your tormentor.

“Fool,” HE sighs, “Foolish human, always ignoring the advice of your betters. Don't say you weren't warned.”

Whatever, you snap back as you listen for the next set of “encouraging” words. You're getting close now.

A few corners later – although when you look behind you, the path seems to have changed completely – you see a light in the distance. Not just the light of whatever mystical path you've been following, but a proper light. In the surrounding darkness, it burns as brightly as a lantern held in an unwavering grip. A more trusting person would see that light and rush towards it, praising their saviour with desperate, doomed words.

You are not a trusting person.

“Is that you?” the comforting voice – somewhat less comforting without a visible source despite the proximity – calls out to you, “It's so dark out there, I can't see you. You'll have to come closer, come to me so I can guide you from this place. Please!”

Smirking at the blatant ruse, you draw Blight from your belt and take a few steps closer. As you approach, the radiant light reforms, resolving itself into a vaguely human blur. The figure beckons you closer, urging to into its open arms with a pleading gesture. A few steps more, and the figure vanishes completely, leaving you in a sudden darkness.

“I found you at last...” a guttural growl, like something coming from countless voices, rumbles out of the gloom, “Ah, food...”

Before your eyes adjust to the new darkness, a terrible stench assaults your senses, harsh enough that your stomach twists inside you. Next, you hear a slick sound of movement like a length of oiled rope uncoiling slowly. Then, at long last, your eyes allow you to see the monstrosity before you. Frankly, you would have been better staying blind.

The snarling mass of wings, jaws and tentacles unfolds before you, reaching out to claim your stunned body with dripping feelers. So – this is the master of this place?

You're staring down a hideous creature ripped from some primordial nightmare. You're trapped in a maze without end that changes whenever you turn your back on it. Your own demonic patron is eating you from within and tearing away any semblance of happy memories you have. Right now, there's only one appropriate response.

Whatever.

You hack at the closest tendril, cleaving it in half with your tainted, poisonous machete and causing the nightmare beast to rear back in shock, squealing a shrill cry that pierces your eardrums. With that momentary distraction, you touch a finger to the improvised keypad on your other wrist and summon one of your demons. You prefer not having to use these things – mankind should stand or die alone, in your opinion – but something this grotesque doesn't deserve to live. This calls for fire.

Cerberus roars in barely contained fury as you summon the hellhound, languid tongues of fire curling out from its slavering jaws to light up the area. The new found visibility only makes the formless enemy more awful to look at, but you'll take that risk. Recovering from the unexpected wound, the creature oozes towards you with countless tentacles, teeth and spines bristling with a sinister hunger. The single large mouth in the centre looks large enough to swallow a man whole, although the forest of fangs glistening there means that it would never need to.

Again, whatever. You've seen worse. You've killed worse.

For all of its size and hideous aura, the creature is actually pretty slow and clumsy. You dodge the first few lashing tendrils with ease, chopping each one off at the root with a single stroke from your weapon. Strange – normally the poison would be taking effect by now. Perhaps this abomination is so far from humanity – or any normal form of life – that it's immune to such things. Troublesome.

It's not immune to fire, though. Cerberus yawns wide and belches a blazing ball of fire at the looming horror, the sphere exploding on contact. Every fragment of flaming shrapnel that lands on the creature catches, starting countless smaller fires that feast hungrily on the unclean flesh. It hardly smells better burning than it did raw, but you're beyond caring about such petty concerns. Instead, you wade in deeper and start hacking away at the thing, cutting off great lumps of rubbery flesh and hurling them away. The wounds close up – sluggishly knitting flesh back together – but wherever the fire touches, the wounds remain open.

Helpless. The damn thing is helpless. It's almost disappointing, the lack of resistance it offers you. Your bitter smirk soon turns into a snarl as you lose yourself in the crude act of butchery, chopping away in search of some vital organ, something that you can destroy to end this stupid fucking fight. Die, you shout at the squealing monster, just die already!

You're so involved in your grim task that you almost miss the limb that slashes out at you, all the creature's failing strength devoted to one last blow.

You see the flailing claw, but too late – and not for very long. It catches you in the face, slicing upwards from your chin. The heavy metal collar around your jaw – the Oni's Fangs – deflects some of the damage, but not much. The claws rip through your skin, shredding flesh and parting muscle, and fling you back. Even with adrenaline numbing the pain, it's still a horrific wound, one that grips you with the kind of agony that could cripple a strong man. Even through the blazing, terrible pain in your face, you dimly register your landing as a dull pain rippling through your back.

Christ, you're blind. You're fucking blind.

“I'll devour you,” the mutilated creature roars, its wretched voice gurgling wetly in your ears, “Tear you apart, eat you slow!”

Like hell, you spit, pulling out your pistol and firing wildly at the source of the voice. You might be blind, your hands might be trembling badly enough that most of your shots will miss the target, but you refuse to go quietly! Each shot from your oversized, dragon mouthed pistol sends a painful spasm of recoil up your arm, but you're past the point of caring. How the hell are you supposed to care about something that petty when your eye is drooling down your face in bloody streams?

A roar, then, as Cerberus lunges forwards to defend you. You can only guess what happens next, but the thick scent of burning flesh fills the air and the monster's squealing stops abruptly. Silence falls, heavy and oppressive, as you struggle to rise. With your body weak and your legs trembling, it's an impossible task. For now, you're going to be crawling – if you can move at all.

Maybe, just for a moment, you'll rest here. Just until you've got your breath back.

So this is the labyrinth the New Way was relying on to keep their enclave safe? You look around with curious eyes, taking in every detail of the strangely featureless buildings and their impossible shapes. Was this something they constructed, you ask yourself quietly, or simply something they used for their own devices? It's strange – in a way, this place reminds you of the black void you felt after touching the cornerstones. It's not an exact match, but... there's something similar. Some unearthly feeling.

Probably because you're not on Earth any more.

You walk, more or less at random, until you hear a distant flurry of gunfire. You flinch against the sound – even now, you still feel ill at ease around guns – but hurry towards the source. You don't even think about the danger involved, merely thinking of the girl you came here to find. What you do once you've found her, well... you'll cross that bridge when you get to it.

After running through winding corridors and twisting alleys, ducking between impossible buildings and looming shapes, for an unknown and unmeasurable length of time, you come across a strange sight. The remains of some demon, a really nasty looking one, and a smeared trail of blood. The blood looks uncanny, pooling on the invisible floor. Easy to spot, and even easier to follow the trail.

You follow the smeared trail of blood to one of the looming buildings, and soon you spot a human form, slumped in the meagre shelter. Her hair is in disarray, hanging low over her face, and her entire posture suggests pain, fatigue and defeat. Still, you notice a certain tension entering her body when you get closer. A few steps more, and she looks up wildly, pointing a decorative gun in your general direction.

“You as well? I'll kill you, like I killed your friend!” the girl snarls, despite the blood seeping from her face. She sounds more angered than pained, although her hand trembles with the effort of resistance. Taking care to be as quiet as possible, you take a few steps to the side until her gun points at nothing but empty air. “I don't need eyes to fight!” she insists, despite the obvious evidence to the contrary.

Well. This is going to be easier than you thought. You could put a bullet in her head right here, and you could even call it an act of mercy. Or, you could grab her and use the New Way ring to return you both to reality – but what chance does a blind girl have in this new world?

Frowning deeply at her attitude – is pointing a gun at someone like saying “hello” wherever she's from? - you approach her until you're standing just at her side. Then, with a sudden lunge, you snatch the gun out of her hand. You'll be taking THIS until she can be trusted not to shoot wildly in your general direction at the slightest provocation.

Settle down, you tell her sternly as she scrabbles for another weapon, and you might see about healing that wound of hers.

“Human?” the girl croaks after a pause, although it's clear that she's still on alert.

That's right, you assure her as you summon both Undine and Pixie, giving the pair of humans a hard look to end any argument before it begins. Now, if she'll just sit still for a minute, you'll see if you can fix those eyes. Then, glancing at your worried looking demons, you ask if that's even possible.

“Ah,” Undine wrings her hands, “Well, it's not that easy, boss. Humans are tricky. Demons, well, you can just stick them back together, no questions asked. You humans aren't like that.”

“She's right, for once,” Pixie nods, ignoring the vile glare Undine sends her way, “Our magic can only do so much. These bruises here, or the cuts, we can fix. Growing a pair of new eyes though...”

Damn. You look at Petra and feel a sudden wave of pity. She's really stuck like this, blind and helpless forever? You'd rather die then end up like that, relying on everyone around you for the most basic tasks. Maybe in a world without rampaging angels and marauding demons, you could adapt, but these days? Fat chance.

“I'm fine,” Petra murmurs, “Just... fine. Worry about yourself. Idiot... you're stuck here as well.”

You can't heal her. You're sorry, you tell Petra, trying to ignore the piteous sight of her shoulders slumping in despair. You can't heal her, but you can get her out of here. You can get both of you out of this labyrinth.

“What?” Petra looks up in surprise, following the sound of your voice to point her ruined face your way, “You... can get in and out, just like that? I see...” her voice turns bitter, “So this is your trap, is it?”

What? Of course not! You recoil in offended shock – what kind of scheme does she think you're running here? You came in here specifically to help her, not deal with her terrible attitude! You glare at Petra for a moment longer – the urge to give her rude gestures is almost too much to resist – before standing and helping her to her feet. It seems like you're giving a lot of people your shoulder to lean on lately, you think bitterly to yourself as you fumble the New Way ring out of your pocket and slip it onto your finger. The world around you... shudders slightly. That's it?

Well, no matter. Push forwards, and you'll find a way, right? Grimacing slightly, glad that Petra can't see your uneasy expression, you press on into the gloom, following the glowing path. As you walk, the terrain around you quickly regains definition and texture, growing solid and rational. Within a matter of minutes, you can already recognise some of the buildings you passed on the way in. Looks like this little piece of costume jewellery is good for something after all.

Almost there, you tell Petra with an attempt at a reassuring voice, you're almost out of here. In fact, by the time you finish your sentence, you can see the first signs of the red angry sky. Hey, you really are out! A wide smile breaks out on your face at the sight of the real world, and even Petra laughs a little.
>>
>>42889030

“I feel wind,” she murmurs gratefully, “Never thought I'd feel it again.”

You privately agree, glad that the ring Joseph gave you did exactly what it was supposed to. For a moment, you'd been struck by horrible visions of being trapped in that place by a sabotaged ring. Taking a deep breath of the cool air – the air inside the labyrinth was awful, warm and cloying, with the scent of decay everywhere you went – you begin to walk back to the fairy kingdom. As you walk, you decide to chat with Petra for a bit, maybe raise her spirits somewhat.

You know people, you tell her, people with powerful healing magic. If they can't help heal her eyes, you've got another contact that might offer a solution. An unorthodox solution, perhaps, but she's never let you down yet. Scathach, you tell her, noticing a sudden change in Petra's expression.

“The witch?” she asks, “I know of her. She made my weapons, my armour. A valuable friend to have.”

Well, you've seen her weapons alright – a little too much for your liking – but you take another look at her armour. She has what looks like a bear trap around her mouth, a set of great iron jaws that give her a savage look. Her torso, by contrast, is shielded by a dull armour of similar design to an insect's carapace, segmented and slender. Very impressive, all told.

So, now that the mood has lightened somewhat, you decide to ask her about the Deathstone. It was either that or waiting until she passed out and then rummaging through her belongings, after all.

“That? Trash,” Petra's voice is blunt, dismissive, “I've bathed it in rivers of blood, but nothing happens. If there's some trick to it, I don't know of it.”

Well, if it's really so useless, you'd be happy to take it off her hands. You casually float the suggestion out there, waiting a moment as you try to gauge Petra's reaction. No immediate denials or refusals, but her furrowed brow doesn't offer much hope for success. You could bash it against a rock or something, you joke, and see what happens.

“You know something,” Petra states flatly as you hobble along together, “You've got information.”

Okay, so she's no fool. Then again, it wasn't exactly a masterful attempt at deception. You nod, before – realising your mistake – agreeing out loud. You might have certain knowledge at your disposal, friends in high places with access to all kinds of research materials. Without him, you would have never achieved what you've managed to achieve.

“Oh?” the blind girl sounds amused here, “And what have you done?”

Taken three of the four cosmic cornerstones, you answer casually, and defeated a number of both Archangels and Archdukes of Hell. So, you add after a moment, you're kind of a big deal.

Petra is silent for a long time, and then she starts to murmur to herself. “Shut up. No, you listen to me – this is serious. Shut up, damn you,” another moment of silence, “I don't care if you don't trust her.”

That's, uh, different. You glance across at the blind girl, her ruined face mere inches from your own, and try to guess what's going on in that head of hers. Perhaps sensing your attention, Petra stops muttering immediately, her lips pressed into a hard line behind her mask. You... don't even want to ask. She's had a severe injury, so some unusual behaviour is to be expected from her. Right.

Nevertheless, you keep silent until you reach the gates to the fairy kingdom.
>>
>>42889594

As you're entering the foyer, Petra speaks up suddenly. “You can have it. I have no use for the stone, not... like this.” Her voice is bitter, and thick with resignation. The voice of a girl who's lost hope for the future, and has set her mind on accepting a bleak fate as soon as possible. “You said you might help, and I hope you can, but we must be realistic. You have the allies and the resources to use the stone. I have nothing.”

Hell, there's no point in getting all gloomy, is there? You said you'd see what you can do, and you're going to stick to that promise. You're thinking of some other way to reassure her when Cu Chulainn approaches to greet you. How long had he been standing there, watching you drag the wounded girl about without helping?

“Amelia,” he says, with a typically smooth greeting, “I see you've brought back another stray. I'm afraid we don't have any rooms made up, but... your old quarters, perhaps? They're a little bare, but in a pinch...”

Actually, you shoot back, this “stray” - as he called her – is pretty badly injured. Could Titania take a look, see if there's anything she can do to help? A moment of hesitation, here, as you replay the words in your head. Not, ah, “see”, but... take a look? No, wait.

“Yes, yes,” Petra sighs, “Blind jokes. Whatever. I must rest now, if that's possible.”

“Of course,” Cu Chulainn hurries to take Petra from you, easily supporting her weight on his arm. He grins briefly at you, like a man who's just added another girl to his harem, and begins to lead her away. “Ah, Amelia, I'll ask the queen if she can spare a moment. It might not be soon, though.”

No rush, you think to yourself, Petra isn't getting any more blind. Still, that means you've got some spare time on your hands.

Yeah this is a lsit of keepers
Heartless(starter and dps, plus he gives no lip)
Eligor(good guard, and powerhouse all around with only 1 weakness)
Valkyrie(only fire user we have)
Cernunnos(immune insta kills and good in a fight)
Undine(our spymaster, errand runner, and decent enough in a fight)
Hrejsvral(strong demon, flier and a mount)

Gurr troll and Pixie are expendable but I'd item gurr and troll first. Having a back up healer is just smart.

I'd keep Gurr cause not only is he our only Wind user he is also better at Lightning than Pixie. Not to mention an extra Physical powerhouse.

Well, you're in the neighbourhood, so you might as well see if Cassandra is feeling up to a little trip out to your favourite witch. You've got business with her, and Petra's injuries are enough to convince you that going anywhere alone isn't such a great idea, if there's another option. Still, things are all going better than you expected, so you find yourself humming softly as you make your way to Cassandra's room. Knocking lightly, you let yourself in.

“Oh, hello!” Cassandra is awake when you arrive, and looking alert. A little pale, perhaps, but that hardly means anything. She just needs a little sun, that's all.

...You've not seen the sun in over a month, not since the world ended. When was the last time you thought about that? Shaking your head to clear your thoughts, you return Cassandra's greeting. She looks better – and not even slightly hungover!

“Well,” Cassandra offers you a lopsided smile, “Maybe a little. So much for, uh, water being the healthy option, right? No, I mean, I'm well. I'm okay. A little bored, actually, so I was wondering if...”

If you were going out on business? Well, funny she should ask, you were just about to ask if she wanted to get some exercise. Just a nice, easy trip out to the hospital to talk with Scathach, that's all.

“Sounds good to me!” throwing her sheets back, Cassandra practically leaps out of bed and vanishes into a side room to dress. What on earth happened while you were away, you wonder, to give her so much energy? You could do with some of what she's been getting – maybe it's just the effects of a good long rest?

Cassandra still has a spring in her step when you leave the fairy kingdom, and it takes a rather gruesome account of Petra's injuries to calm her down. Not that you deliberately soured her mood or anything – although you'd be entirely justified in taking a little bit of the wind out of her sails – but you don't want her getting carried away or taking needless risks. The mood is heavy, after that, until she speaks up in curiosity.

“So Petra was talking to someone? Do you think it was a demon?” Cassandra touches a finger to her chin in thought, “That sounds useful. We've got to summon our demons to speak with them.”

True, but at least that means you can choose when you talk to them. The thought of having Heartless snarling and raving in your ear every moment of the day is a horrible one. Still, it raises an interesting issue – what makes some demons capable of intruding on their summoner's minds? Or does it depend on the summoner, rather than the demon? Joseph had that sceptre device, while Petra's tool looked like something she'd pieced together with scraps. It's an issue worth investigating, you decide. Later though, once you're finished with Scathach.

The witch, as you expected, is waiting in the hospital basement. Before you can say anything, and without needing to turn around, she greets you. “Welcome cursed one,” a pause, “And you too, Cassandra.”

“Why don't I get a nickname?” Cassandra mutters, but you can only spare her a shrug before Scathach continues.

“Interesting times at court, I hear,” Scathach announces, “I suppose I'll have to visit soon, to do my duties. But enough about me... what brings you here, humans?”

What, exactly, are her duties?

“Oh, presenting myself to the new queen and swearing allegiance mostly. A formality, really, but we must observe traditions, yes?” Scathach sighs, finally turning to face you, “And soon, a child shall be born. I must be there to bless him with eternal youth and beauty – and to curse him with eternal youth.”

She just described Oberon, right down to the last detail. Wait, you hold up a hand, is she saying what you think she's saying?

“Yes, the cycle continues,” Scathach nods, her voice somehow sad, “Inevitable, really, but I wouldn't worry about it. It'll be many years yet before Oberon aspires to the throne again, and even more time until the cracks begin to form. I wonder how things will unfold, without someone like you around? Interesting times...” A soft laugh escapes Scathach, “Never mind that, what can I do for you? Do you seek my skill in forging demons?”

Actually, you were about to ask about that. You've got this Troll – it's a good Troll, one careful owner – and you were wondering what she could do with it. Maybe something with its regeneration ability? A ring, perhaps?

“You don't ask for much, do you?” Scathach hums to herself for a moment, “It's certainly possible though. Bring forth the offering!”

You glance back at Cassandra and shrug, a little bemused by Scathach's theatrical attitude. Maybe she's been bored without having you around causing trouble. You approach the burning altar and place your phone on the rim. Now, all you have to do is close your eyes, right?

“That's right, close your eyes and think of the ring you desire,” a note of amusement enters Scathach's voice, “Hmm, have you asked your Troll for his opinion? He seems eager to help... something about a service you provided once?”

The tongue thing? Trolls have long memories. Well, if he's happy, you're happy.
>>

>The tongue thing? Trolls have long memories. Well, if he's happy, you're happy.

My only regret was that he didn't help fuck up Forneus, but that was a close fight as it is.

Speaking of Cu Chulainn fucking, he fucked a lot of people. He cheated on his wife all the time but she was cool with it as long as he only "loved" her. Cu Chulainn is a haremfag, so watch out!
>>
>>42890892

“Good, good,” Scathach purrs, “Now focus on the ring. Picture your flesh knitting together, your wounds closing up under their own power. Don't look away now...”

Grimacing a little, you let the rush of grotesque images flood into your mind, concentrating on them until they are distilled down to a single point – a small ring, made from a greasy lump of... you're not sure, actually. Something fleshy, but you'd rather not know for sure. That's some nasty ass stuff either way.

When you open your eyes, that same ring is lying in the palm of your hand, the oily sensation leaving you feeling dirty just from touching it. Well... maybe you'll get used to it? You slide the ring on and, to distract yourself as much as anything else, ask if Cassandra wanted to use Scathach's services. Heidi was spying on her, after all, but with Oberon dead...

“Oh, her,” Cassandra purses her lips, “We've reached an, ah, agreement. Well actually, uh, Ose threatened to eat her wings if she did anything like that again. So yes, um, we're fine. Everything is fine.”

That's... Right, you're fine as well. Everybody's fine. Except for Petra, of course, who could really use a new pair of eyes. That's why you're here actually, you tell Scathach. You've got this friend who's suffered a rather serious injury. Both eyes gouged out, although one wound is far older than the other. You've heard that there's no way to heal damage like that in a human – is that true and, if so, is there anything Scathach can do instead?

“An interesting solution. So long as the wound is fresh, I might be able to do something. Provided you acquire the appropriate... resources,” Scathach's eyes are bright and amused as she says that last, vague word.

She's asking you to find someone and gouge out their eyes instead, isn't she?

You're actually impressed. No matter what happens, you'll always find some new low to sink to. Harvesting eyes for some macabre operation? That's disgusting, and you waste little time in telling Scathach that.

Just like you waste little time in asking if she needs any kind of eyes in particular. Human, or demon? If demon, would anything do, or does she need something close to human? There are a great many variables to consider here.

“Any eye would suffice,” Scathach tells you, “Although I would recommend against using material gathered from... low quality donors. A demon would suffice, but it would a permanent wound. Permanent, I should say, until the eye is returned to the original host. Of course, if the idea is so distasteful to you...”

Well. You're considering your options – that's all you're willing to say for now. You need to see what Petra has to say about this, and that's before you can consider looking for a suitable, uh, donor. Where do you even begin to look for that? What makes a “good” eye, compared with a “bad” eye? Honestly, the more you think about this procedure, the more disgusting it sounds.

Not that that'll stop you going through with it, of course.

Petra isn't crazy in the sense of hearing voices - Chernobog really does talk constantly to her. It's because she made a pact with him, kind of like Amelia made a brief pact with Black Frost. Cu Chulainn begins an affair with Scathach's daughter Uathach, but accidentally breaks her fingers. She screams, calling her lover Cochar Croibhe to the room. Despite Uathach's protests, he challenges Cu Chulainn to a duel; Cu Chulainn dispatches him easily.

To make it up to Uathach and Scathach, Cu Chulainn assumes Cochar's duties, and becomes Uathach's lover. Scathach eventually promises her daughter to him, without requiring the traditional bride price. Scathach also grants Cu Chulainn the "friendship of her thighs" (they have sex) when his training is almost complete. When her rival, the warrior woman Aífe, threatens her territory, Cu Chulainn defeats her in battle and forces her to make peace. Aífe also sleeps with Cu Chulainn, producing his son Connla, who Cu Chulainn kills years later without realizing he is his son.

Also, cu chulainn's lord NEEDS to enact first night, but he fears sleeping with cu chulainn's wife because cu chulainn might kill him. So what the lord does is sleep with Cu Chulainn's wife, but also sleeps with Cu Chulainn's father. And when I mean sleep, I literally mean sleep. The lord sleeps with cu chulainn's dad sleeping between him and Cu Chulainn's wife so he won't be tempted to fuck her and risk Cu Chulainn's wrath.

We're going to have to get the details out of her one way or another. The gossip must flow!
>>
>>42893502
Yeah we'll have to ask her about it.

I don't know guys, I mean

She's a pretty blatant attempt at getting the yuri subtext audience.
>>
>>42893539
Damnit Pat.

You forgot 'tbh' you wacky shitposter.
>>
>>42893539
Except Amelia(and strangely all but 1-2 players) haven't though that at all. She's our friend and one of the few we have left. I think Amelia wants the D but there are no guys worthy/willing to court her. It's lonely at the top, and in the middle.
>>
>>42893539
Well, CuCu is usually described as beautiful rather than handsome. Obviously it's just an attempt at suppressing her natural homolust!
>>
>>42893581
Okay. Look we do have options.

>Heartless
>Cu Chulainn
>Cernunnos (The D is literally RIGHT THERE)
>Lucifer
>Super Demon Leon (my choice, tbh fam)

>>42893612

That's the funny thing about Cu Chulainn. He is specifically described as being pretty and while not looking like a woman, he's not, y'know, got that Conan vibe. He's even described as kinda short and skinny.

Now that's better.
>>
>>42893638
>>Lucifer
Nigga's the size of a mountain. What I'm saying is, Amelia couldn't take that girth
>>
>>42893638
>Heartless
Tainting the summoner bro bond with him. No thanks.
>Cu Chulainn
He and Cass are already falling for each other, and frankly not worth it.
>Cernunnos (The D is literally RIGHT THERE)
Too headstrong and foolhardy, besides he'd kill us on accident when he put it in with his berserk at the smell of blood tendencies.
>Lucifer
Haha, no. He's a douche and ugly as fuck to boot. He'd only fuck us to fuck us over.
>Super Demon Leon (my choice, tbh fam)
he's dead Jim.
>Titania (If you want to be a fucking faggot)
I'd rather take any of the other options of Nylarhotep
>>
>>42893692
>He and Cass are already falling for each other,

Have you not read everything I've posted. Cu Chulainn is a haremfag. You think he's going to stop at Cass? Hah, watch him fuck everybody.
>>
>>42893709
He'd try, until Cass threatened to emasculate him.
>>
>>42893728
Oh shit, we should fuck Ose.
>>
>>42893728
He saw what she did to Mara. I hope he knows what he is doing.
>>
>>42893728
>Cass
>Assertive

Cassandra is the physical embodiment of the phrase "please respond".

And blatant yuri bait tbh

Things have never been the same after Damp, I see.

I know. Remember that time we had a sleepover. And became friends. I bet we've even held hands at some point. Seriously, I'm tired of the shipping Moloch

>>42893767
Welcome back! Just having fun.
>>
>>42893760
see>>42893748 she reacts oddly to dicks.

I think this is the longest thread in the whole quest.

Like >>42893106 said, it'd be a fun experiment to watch people with no prior knowledge go forward in a quest like that.

Cass gets the 'First Girl' points since she is the first one Setanta meets.
>>
>>42894137
Obviously Cass would win

Ameliafags BTFO
>>
>>42894194
Cu Chulainn is a haremfag. When will you people learn? Every girl can win!
>>
>>42894225
>Implying Cass wouldn't emasculate him for violating Matrimony
Look at what she did to Mara man!
>>
>>42894225
In the hypothetical Cu Chu Quest you think anons would go for that or fight to the death over their one waifu? The former would be surprising, but the latter would be hilarious.
>>
>>42893814
Lessons in Knighthood Quest, where the Captain was more of a harem protag than the MC, with the court wizard(girl) and prince(not a trap) madly in love with her, 1-2 colleges she has a LONG working relationship with, and a cute little kohai(MC) with hidden secrets.
>>
>>42894252
Hypothetically speaking, which waifu would be the most lewd?
>>
>>42894326
Cernunnos or Titania.
>>
>>42894326
Probably Titania.

At first. Then after some time in the relationship Cass would take that spot.
>>
>>42894326
I hear good christian girls tend to have a lot of frustration...
>>
>>42894350
>Cernunnos
He doesn't need trousers. He's always ready to party!
