Right away you could tell he was a man in love with Maya. "Ah... Maybe I should tell him how Maya likes lewd games?" You thought about it and he probably wouldn't believe you.

Before answering, you decide to ask him why he wanted to know first. "I'm curious, but why do you want to know my relationship with her?" The way you asked him so directly must've caught him off-guard. It took him a couple of seconds to think about his answer.

"Well, I'm just curious since you've been hanging around a lot the last few days..." Shin was usually really well-spoken, but this time he was stuttering and choking on his words. "And I guess I'm a bit concerned since... I..." You already knew the answer, almost everybody in your class knew the answer. Shin liked Maya. "I kinda have feelings for her..."

Unfortunately for Shin, Maya was dense. "Ah, I see..." You put your hands on his shoulders. "Well, don't worry about it then." You give him a smile. "I'm just a friend of hers. I don't even know if you could call me a friend... I guess you can call me her neighbour?"

"Really?" The look of relief on Shin's face was quite obvious. "So you really have no feelings for Maya then huh?"

"Nope, not at all."

Shin was quite impressed. "Wow, every guy I have talked to has seen her as attractive... I guess you just have pretty weird tastes in women huh?" Then, his eyes light up like he just thought of something great. "Hey, I feel like I can trust you since you don't like Maya in that way... How about you help me go out with her? What do you say?"

You apologize to him. "Ah, sorry." It wasn't that you didn't want to help him because you didnt like him. On the contrary, you didn't want to help him because you did like him. You've seen situations like this many times before and the girl will only misunderstand and start to hate the guy who asked for other's help. "I don't think I can help you."

"Eh? Why not?" Shin protests.

You explain to him in a concise manner that you really aren't good with women, 3D women that is. "I have very little experience with girls as you can probably tell." And that there are some things that he has to do himself. "Plus, you should probably try and capture her heart by yourself. Imagine what she would think if she found out you were asking me for help to get her to love you. It might even backfire."

Slowly Shin starts to get what you were saying. "Besides, I told you right? We just happened to live close by to each other. I'm not that close to her."

"I see..." Shin tells you. "I guess you are right. Thanks for your encouragement." He bows to you to show you his gratitude.

It felt awkward. "Ah, you don't have to bow to me or anything... I'm just telling you what I feel..."

The look on Shin's eyes were shining as he left the roof. "You've inspired me Aomine... I'm going to confess to her tomorrow."

"R-Really? Good luck then." You show him an awkward smile of encouragement as he left. Once you were alone you let out a sigh. "Ah... That damn Maya... Ever since I found out her secret everyday has been a hassle..."

Luckily, Maya had a meeting with the student council that day. You were able to go home alone and get some of your peace and quiet back. "I can finally relax." You whisper to yourself.

Unfortunately, on your way home you receive a text. It was an unknown number to you. It wasn't your younger sister's number or your parents. "What the... Who the hell is this?"

You open up the text and read the message.

"Hey Aomine! This is Maya. I'm sorry for asking you so suddenly but can you come over to my house today? I think something is wrong with my computer and I want your help on it!"

You were surprised. "How the hell did she get my number?" You don't remember giving it to her or exchanging numbers with her. You send her a response asking exactly that question.

"Where did you get this number?"

"Oh, I got it yesterday when you went over to my house. You left your phone out at the counter when you went to the bathroom so I took a little peek!" She even sent the emoticon of a smiley sticking it's tongue out. "Anyways, I'll see you at my house later okay?"

Your plan was to go home early that day and work on your blog. Unfortunately you will have to take a quick detour. "I'll fix her computer, scold her and teach her some manners and go home." That was your plan and you were going to stick with it.

Once you reach her apartment building you go up the stairs and to the front of her apartment room. To your surprise however, you found a tall gentleman mumbling something to himself as he stood in front of Maya's door. "That damn woman... I'll make her pay..." You didn't recognize his uniform so you knew he wasn't going to your school.

Then it hit you. "Crap... Is it one of Maya's stalkers?" You've heard rumours before that Maya had a lot of fans even in other schools. This is the first time you've seen one in person though. "What should I do... Is he dangerous?" Looking at him from afar he didn't seem too dangerous but if he is brave enough to confront the girl he is stalking up close, then he might have brought a weapon of some sort...

It would probably not be the best idea to make assumptions. "Hmm I should probably just wait for Maya at the bottom of the stairs." You whisper to yourself. As quietly as you could, you sneak back down the stairs to wait for Maya.

Fortunately it didn't take too long. "Ah! You are here!" Maya gives you a smile. "Are you done with my computer? I just got this new game that I want to play so..."

"Not yet, theres a guy in front of your apartment that seems to be pissed off at you." Immediately she grows concerned. "Did you piss off anybody or something?"

"Eh!? Absolutely not!" At first she was confident in her answer. However, as she thinks about it her confidence grew thin. "At least I don't think I have..." She takes a deep breath. "Anyways let's check it out, besides if he is pissed off at me you can fight him off right?"

You laugh at her with contempt. "Fat chance, if he attacks you, I'm leaving. I don't want to get hurt."

She gasps in shock. "Hey! That's not how you treat a beautiful, popular and smart girl like me! You should protect me!" Maya pouts in dissatisfaction to your answer. You were still amazed how Maya can make the transformation from gentle, kind, and nice to self-absorbed, spoiled, and rotten. It was quite an amazing observation to make.

You help Maya up the stairs since she still had crutches after all. Then, the two of you slowly peek around the corner to try and see what the stalker is up to. Maya was hiding behind you, ready to use you as a meat shield at a moment's notice. "There he is... Do you recognize him?" You ask the girl behind you.

"Hmm... Let's see..." She squints her eyes. When she recognizes him she starts to laugh. "Ah there's no need to worry Aomine, that's just my stupid brother." She gets out from hiding behind your back and she goes up to him and calls out to him. "Hey there Kou!"

Unfortunately, her enthusiasm and happiness at seeing her brother wasn't mutual. "You stupid woman... I can't believe you made me go through with that! I swear... I have the stupidest sister ever!" He snaps at her as he digs through his bag.

"What do you mean? This is something all girls need. Plus I sprained my ankle so it's only natural for a brother to take care of his smart, beautiful sister right?" The way they interacted almost felt like she was bullying him.

It was the first time you've met Kou, Maya's brother. Although you've been to her house twice, it's the first time you've seen Kou in person. Following Maya, Kou finally notices you. "Who is he?" Kou asks Maya.

"Him?" Maya looks at you as she pauses.

"Yeah, is he another one of your fanclub members?" Kou seems to be incredibly tired of dealing with his sister's crap. "Ah... What a hassle." When he said those words, you knew Kou understood what you go through everyday with dealing with Maya. You found someone who can understand you.

"Awesome. I can't really tell you how much you've helped me this past couple of days." He tells you as the two of you go into their apartment.

"Helped you?" You were confused, you weren't doing anything particularly special. In fact, all you've done really is walk to school with Maya, eat lunch with her, and then walk home with her.

"Yeah, you probably won't know this but yesterday was the first time I've seen my sister actually clean up after herself." The look on Kou's face looked like a proud mother. "Usually, her clothes would be everywhere even her underwear... She really has no idea how to act like a girl..."

You found it quite funny that Kou seemed to be the more responsible one. It almost as if he was the older sister and Maya was the younger sister. "Is that so?" You let out a smile.

"Yep, so please, as much as you can please come over anytime!"

Then, from the corner of your eye, you saw Maya peeking around the corner. "What are you two doing. Kou you better not be telling him embarrassing secrets that I trusted you to keep!" One glare from Maya immediately puts fear into Kou.

"I-I wasn't saying anything at all!" You could tell that Maya has conditioned Kou to listen to her quite well. "I was just thanking Aomine that's all! Anyways, I'l get started on dinner." He then digs through his bag. He takes out a box and throws it at Maya. "Here you go, it's the thing that you wanted me to buy."

Almost immediately, Maya's eyes widen with shock. "Y-You idiot! Don't just take that out! You are so stupid!" Maya's face turns red.

Maya tries to catch it but she was too flustered. The box hits her right on the face and bounces off. It bounces a couple of times and rolls towards your feet. The look on Maya's face was pure shock. She couldn't believe it. "H-Hold on! Do not! Absolutely do not look at that Aomine!" She then starts to hop over to you as fast as she could to try and pick up the small box herself.

The way she was hopping over like that made you worry. "What the hell are you talking about?" You didn't see what the big deal is. It was just a box wasn't it? Bending over you pick it up and you examine the box.

Luckily, with your cat-like reflexes and quick reactions, you were able to prevent her from getting seriously injured. Maya was in your arms. Your face was quite close to hers, close enough that you could feel her breath on your lips. "I can't believe you would do something so reckless!" You scold her. "What if you got hurt again? What would you have done?" You continue.

However, Maya didn't seem to be listening to you. With a red face she asks you if you saw the box. "D-Did you see it... Do you know what's inside it?" She asks you in a timid voice.

"I did." You tell her. Truthfully, you saw no reason for her to be embarassed like that, after all it was just natural. "It's just a feminine hygiene product, I don't see what the big deal is."

The computer issue she had was quite an easy fix. It only took you 15 minutes to fix it. "There we go, done."

"Ah! Thank you so much Aomine!" She looked relieved. "When it comes to these kinds of things Kou is useless... I'm glad I have you now!" She pats you on the back a couple of times. Then, she puts in a game. "I've been waiting to play this all day... I hate student council stuff..."

You sit at the living room table which was quite close to her computer. "If you hate it so much why don't you just stop doing work for them? You aren't part of it aren't you?"

"Nope... But I've kinda known the student council president for a while so I've been doing him some little favours." She lets out a small laugh. It illicited a feeling in you, something you haven't really felt before.

"Eh... Really? Are you two quite close?"

"Hmm not really... I guess it's good to be around him to keep my facade at school going though." You didn't know why, but you felt relief at that moment. "Oh yeah, by the way, I heard Shin talked to you after school." She turns to you with a lewd look in her eyes. Coupled with the two nearly naked guys on her computer screen you could already tell what she was thinking. "W-What did he want huh?"

"It's not what you are thinking for sure." You shut down her dreams before it can even take hold.

"Eh... Stingy..." She pouts at you. "But what did Shin want anyways?" She started to sound a bit guilty. "It's not because I've been hanging around you lately is it?" It surprised you that she seems to be sensitive and concerned for your well being.

You were surprised that she even considers your feelings. "No need." You tell her.

The two of them are both popular, they both have good grades, He was the class representative for the guys and she was the one for the girls. They are both equal, social standing-wise, you saw no reason for her to reject him.

To your surprise however, she just moans out in dissatisfaction. "Ah... How bothersome..."

"Bothersome?" You were surprised that her reaction was like that. You pictured her being more enthusiastic, after all Shin was quite rich. He could fund her BL games without much trouble.

"Yeah... It's bothersome. Now I have to think of an excuse to reject him."

After talking for a while, Kou finally serves dinner. "Dinner is served you guys!" Both you and Maya go into the kitchen and you could see just how much Kou spoils her older sister.

"Ah! Hamburger steak!" She gasps out loud. "You really know what I like Kou!" Although it was only the three of you eating dinner it was still quite fun.

After dinner was over however it was time for you to go home. "Well, I'll see you tomorrow." You tell Maya. However, before you leave, you didn't forget to scold her a bit for taking a peek on your phone without asking. "Actually, Maya I need to talk to you about something..."

Like a puppy going up to it's owner, Maya walks up to you. "Hmm? What is it?" She had a huge smile on her face as she looks up to you. Now that you thought of it, Maya was quite small.

She had no idea what was coming to her. Slowly, you raise your right hand up to her forehead. Then, you give her a quick flick on her forehead. Immediately she puts her two hands over where you struck her. "W-What was that for?! You shouldn't just flick people on their head like that you know! It might turn them to an idiot!"

"Well, this is payback for looking on my phone without asking me. That's pretty rude you know."

Although she looked like she understood what she did wrong, she had too much pride to admit it. "Ah it doesn't matter, it's not like you had anything to hide there! You only had three numbers as your contact!" She was right, but you still felt a bit insulted. One was your father, one was your mother, and the last was your sister.

"Well, if you do it again, I'll take a look through your phone without you knowing." You start to bluff. "I'm pretty good at hacking into computers and phones too you know."

She completely believes your bluff and becomes terrified. Her eyes widen with shock and almost immediately she apologizes. "O-Oh gosh... I'm sorry... I promise I won't do it again..." She tells you.

"Good! That's a good girl." You give her a pat on the head before leaving. On your way home however you ran into a girl that looked lost. You've never seen her before but she did have an aura of elegance around her. "Hmm this must be one of those rich girls I keep hearing about..."

Her long, jet black hair was tied together elegantly. Her huge doe-like eyes gave her the look of innocence. However it was hidden behind huge glasses that covered half her face.

The girl jumps up as if startled. It was understandable that she would be on edge. After all she looked like she was new to the city and it was getting dark. Slowly she turns to you. "Are you talking to me?" She asks in a timid voice.

"Yes. I was wondering since you look lost." You try your best to maintain a smile on your face.

"Ah... Thank goodness... I lost my phone so I couldn't call uncle. I didn't really know how to ask for help either." She had a relieved smile on her face. "Anyways, this is the address I'm looking for." She smiles at you as she hands you a piece of paper. Her fingers were slender, and her smile felt warm.

"Let's see here..." You whisper to yourself as you open up the piece of paper. "So you are looking for this place huh?"

"Yes. That is where I'm going to be living from now on."

"Ah, so new house huh." Ever since being with Maya, you've learned the basics on interacting with girls. "Must be exciting huh?" You look at the address she provided you. Your eyes widen with shock as you find your own address on the paper.

"Yep, it's pretty exciting. I heard my auntie and uncle have a guy my age so I'm excited to meet him too!" She says in her soft, gentle voice.

You didn't know what to do. You didn't know what to say. Right before your eyes, your only sanctuary of peace is crumbling. Then, you hear your mother's voice behind you. "Ah! Hori! You are here. Sorry I couldn't pick you up at the train station."

The lost girl smiles at seeing your mother. "Ah don't worry about it auntie. I made it here safe and sound right? That's all that matters." Your mother gives her an embrace as she leads her to your apartment.

"Ah, Aomine, bring up the bags she brought okay?"

"Yes... Mom." You respond to her while still out of it. When you get to your house it was a big celebration. Your mom and dad were gathered around Hori like she was a celebrity. Although, from the way she looked, she could easily be mistaken for a model.

"Ah, Aomine, bring up those bags to our guest room upstairs okay?" Your dad tells you.

"Yes." They didn't even invite you to join them for dinner. Not that it mattered, after all you already ate dinner at Maya's house.

After dropping off her bags at the guest room you go straight into your room. To forget the invader, you go on the internet to relax.

As you browse through your favourites tab you accidentally clicked the website to promote your very first self-published game.

It was such a long time ago that you didn't even remember you made that website. "Huh... That brings back a lot of memories actually." It was a site you specifically made to promote your very first game that you made. Your nostalgia gets a hold of you and you logon to the email address that the "Contact us!" Link led to. Nobody ever sent you mail before so you were expecting it to still be empty.

"W-What the..." To your shock however there was 259 unread email sent to that address spanning back to about 6 months. All of them coming from one email address.

"DAnumberonefan huh?" DA was your pseudonym, it came from your name. Daichi Aomine. The name you published all your games under. "I guess this guy is my only fan so he will be number one..."

That was when you heard a knock on your door. "Umm... Daichi, I was wondering if you could help me unpack..." You go up to the door and you were surprised to see Hori standing there. "Hello." She says to you with a warm smile. "Are you busy right now?"

[ ] "Not really." Help her unpack her things. If you are going to be living with her from now on, you might as well get along with her.

[ ] "Yeah, I'm a bit busy right now." She has to learn that you aren't very sociable. The faster she learns that, the better is for the both of you.

"Umm... Sure, just let me check my email for a second okay?" You tell her.

"Oh okay." Unlike Maya, Hori seems to be a bit more sensitive. "I hope I'm not bothering you too much... It's just some of the stuff I have is a bit heavy and I can't really life it." She lets out a girlish giggle. Then she gasps as if she just remembered something important. "Ah! That's right! I'll be transferring to your school tomorrow too!" She bows. "Please take care of me, unless you want me to act like I don't know you."

"Huh?" You ask her confused.

"Well you know... It might start rumours about us right? Us living together?" She seems to be enjoying the thought of your classmates talking about the two of you. "It'll be like those visual novels you know. A guy and a girl living in the same roof!" Hori seems to have a very active imagination.

"I... I don't think it's necessary really."

"Ah really?" When you don't seem to share her enthusiasm, she immediately stops as to not creep you out or bother you. "Hmm I guess you are right, we are cousins after all." Then she takes out her phone. "Anyways, we should exchange contact information. After all we are going to be close to each other."

"I guess so." You take out your phone and you send each other your contact info through your phone's special sensor.

Everything looked normal to you until you saw her email address. "Wait... This is your email address? DAnumberonefan@ezweb.ne.jp?"

I don't want to sound desperate or anything like that, but I have tried multiple times to make the current anonkun work. I don't know every time I run there it just ends up with silence and I panic and I lose interest. I see all the other stories that get a ton of interaction and I just can't help but feel like I'm doing something wrong.

I know the risk moving around so much and I don't really blame my past readers if they hate me. At the end of the day though, I have to do what makes writing enjoyable so I can keep myself invested in it.
