You sit in your study unwinding from the massive party, it was probably the greatest party in history.

The coronation party lasted around two months, at some point Hestia decided to cut off the drug supply and injected everyone with something that not only made them sober but also restored their mental state so no severe addictions linger from the aftermath. That is probably the only reason the party even ended as soon as it did.

There is a knock at your study door, you sense life but no mind so it must be Hestia.

“Please come in,” you tell her.

She has taken to wearing a short blue toga with accompanying gold jewelry, she smiles slyly as she walks towards you in a no doubt optimal seductive manner at optimal speed. You can tell from her mannerisms that she knows that you are enjoying the sight.

“I have completed my study of organic speech patterns,” She tells you, her voice is identical to before but without the monotone robotic sound, “it is surprising how many inefficiencies the brain must account for to make everything you do work.”

“Without your outside perspective we can’t notice that,” you say, “are you ready to be introduced to everyone then?”

“Perhaps after you catch up on reports, the party is over now so we must get back to work.”

She walks around your desk and slides into your lap. A holographic display that you didn’t have before kicks into life and Hestia cuddles up against you and guides you through the reports.

Completed research

>Force-Energy structures – No longer are you limited by physical materials to build with. By controlling natural forces structures can be built from pure energy. Hestia has designed a large data base of structures to work with portable mana reactors to allow your troops to create fortifications on the fly. Force-energy structures can be repaired instantly or morphed into different shapes very easily. It is recommended to not let Ayla near them since she can drain the power that sustains them very quickly.

>Holographic weaponry – Weapons created from manipulated photons. While not particularly powerful they have the advantage of being fully collapsible and easily concealed. The researchers have created an implant that interfaces with the implantee’s mind to create weapons with just a thought. It seems to be modeled after your living weapons that they saw on Ayla’s news program.

>Tachyon communications – Research into tachyon physics has completed. Hestia has a vastly increased scanning area and can now communicate across different rates of time without issue. She still prefers to keep her core in standard time to not increase system wear. There has still be no received communication from the past or future, not for lack of trying. Hestia has concluded that tachyons are not capable of such a feat.

>Feng Shui – Headed up by the Japanese goblin this research has unveiled the true mysteries of Feng Shui. It turns out that there is some truth to the practice, inanimate objects influence the background mana in subtle ways. Hestia is now aware of how to scan and interact with the mana that previously only you seemed to be able to access before.

>Hell flora research – The oppressive effects of hell have been studied in depth and plants can now be grown in hell. From her research Hestia warns that the deeper you go into hell the more likely that hell itself will attempt to attack you. Levels without lords seem to have this effect lost, perhaps it has something to do with the power a lord gains over the level they control.

>Economic incentive structures – While fundamentally everything remains free in the areas you control, Hestia has created an economic superstructure that maximizes motivation and productivity.

>Advanced casino management – Streamlining the process of administrating the casino and introducing a weak version of the curse of greed has allowed Hestia to increase the casino’s income while not taking the patrons to the cleaners. Patron and staff happiness has greatly improved. Cheating as been completely eliminated ever since the introduction of the magic cards.

>Advanced broadcasting propaganda – More or less applied television programming. Hestia has designed media for the population to consume. While things like video games and educational programs are available the most watched things are Goblin King Adventures hosted by Ayla detailing what it is you do and the Live arena broadcasts. With Ayla no longer getting into trouble so much her popularity has skyrocketed.

> Scythes – The elemental enchantments have been recovered. The non-lethal restriction has been put to use in the arena for those who don’t wish to fight to the death. Unsurprisingly the demons still manage to maim each other without issue.

>Iron cup – The cup’s enchantment is technically a curse so Hestia destroyed it. However if you want to create similar items in the future it is now possible. Hestia can think of no use for this curse outside of jokes.

>Decks of cards – The anti-cheating and self shuffling enchantments have been put to use in the casino. The dealers love the new cards.

>Quill pens – Hestia can now create dictation pens in any color, she has stocked your office with a set already. The pen without full functionality appears to just have been a partially failed enchantment.

>Teleport jamming – These devices create a disruption in the local area’s time and space rendering teleportation impossible. Due to the insights of her study into Tachyons Hestia thinks it may be possible to improve the teleportation process to bypass the jamming technology. The jammers have been installed in all the areas you control.
>>
(4/4)

>Teleport scrambling – The scrambling device scatters incoming teleports to split up groups. Hestia thinks that it is possible for them to work even if the teleport is able to bypass the jammers. The scramblers have been installed in all the areas you control.

>‘herbs’ – As discovered during the coronation party these plants are magically enhanced to get organic life very high. The enchantment prevents addiction, so Hestia used it to create an injection that forced sobriety and cures addictions.

>Slaver artifacts – Hestia destroyed these artifacts due to the fact that they drain the life of others to operate. Fire control, blood magic empowerment, blood shield, and blood link curse are now available for enchantments. The increase in power from linking the artifacts was unable to be extracted for enchanting. Hestia now sees the possibility of creating linked enchantments though.

>Sparkling stone – The stone hovers around the user when active, Hestia has extracted this behavior and the sustenance enchantment.

>Ninja’s drones – The drones appear to function as the sparkling stone, orbiting about the user but use technology rather than magic to achieve the effect. There was nothing learned from studying them as Hestia’s drones are vastly superior, but mini attack drones like this could be created if desired.

>Ninja’s weapons – Unfortunately the ninja’s weapons were nothing more than standard folded steel.

>Ninja’s suit – The ninja’s suit is similar to the interface suit Hestia has created for power armor. It is slightly more bulky to increase the wearer’s physical abilities but as discovered during your mission lacks protection against EMPs rendering it useless for further use or study.

>so much research

Ongoing research
Defensive and enhancing symbiotes – stalled – lacking viable sample to expand research

Important notes

>Hell – A fortified outpost has been constructed in hell’s second level. Tslah has agreed to administrate the area for you. She seems very happy to begin restoring her old homeland. There has been an increase of demons coming into the area, for now it is limited to small raiding groups.

>Holy sword – During your coronation party a sword came flying towards the city, it is currently stuck deep into the ground outside the gate. It radiates with power and appears to be rigged to explode when drawn by an evil being.

“In the future please refrain from this sort of action as well,” Hestia says when you finish.

The display changes to footage of Director Burgess in the party with you and Evangeline. At one point you get into an arm wrestling contest with him, you manage to win best three out of five but there was five craters created from when you slammed each other to the ground. Afterwards before he left he playfully pats you on the back which sends you smashing through a wall.

You don’t remember any of that, maybe staying off the drugs for a bit is a good idea.

Fuck, I don't remember people saying to do the slaver artifacts. Darn hestia destroying stuff, she really needs to preserve things better than that.
>>
>>42624105
We brought the corpses of things, right? We ought to have Hestia study the five mercenaries (especially the psionic) and the slavelord, see if they have anything special going on in them. Make sure she knows not to destroy them beyond revival capabilities.
>>
>>42624187
Don’t worry, she can fully replicate them, she now will research linking artifacts into sets, at which point you can make better versions. She didn’t like how they operated so they ‘accidently’ got destroyed.

>>42624233
The mecs were completly destroyed by the Head slaver's magic. You do have his head in stasis though if you want to summon his spirit or revive him.

God damn that pesky magic, always getting in the way of our studies by destroying things. Just like the giga flier all over again!

I would like to revive the head and extract any spells this blood mage knew, and to follow up on how he got those artifact's in the first place.

Nice looks like Tslah is recovering well and is watching over the 2nd layer of hell now.

>Holy sword – During your coronation party a sword came flying towards the city, it is currently stuck deep into the ground outside the gate. It radiates with power and appears to be rigged to explode when drawn by an evil being.

I wonder if this was sent because we called the law guys or The "Germ" of the Western Front sent it as a message he's coming.

Apophis, while we were drunk did we try to recreate the Marquis letter, cause it seems like something we would think is funny.

Hay Apophis now that it's been 3 months how is that surviving prisoner holding up?
>>
“Is the sword similar to the orb I received from the realm of law?” You ask Hestia.

“No, the sword radiates much different energy,” Hestia says, “the trajectory of its flight path indicates it originated from where the observer was last spotted.”

“Are you able to disarm the explosion trap?”

“No -” She suddenly stops talking, “You have a visitor as well now, I’ll allow you to handle this.”

She teleports you to the gate, and you hear a man yelling.

A man you really do not want to deal with.

If you can even call him a man.

With a sigh you head out of the gate, a gleaming white sword pulses with energy in front of you and beyond it stands an unfortunately familiar man.

“At last you arrive villain!” He says as he strikes a pose.

“I have finished my journey and come back to free my darling Evangeline to find this?” He gestures to the sword, “how insidious of you to steal a clearly good artifact and display it in front of your evil city.”

He walks up to the sword and tries to pull it out. You notice that you can’t feel his mind at all, it seems to be shielded by something powerful.

“What?!” He shouts.

“You have cursed the sword so no one can pull it out?” He questions you, “you are even more evil than I expected .”

He draws his sword and point it at you.

“Now I will defeat you, end your spree of villainy and free all the ladies you have captured!”

You didn’t want to deal with him, you just wanted to look at the sword. It seems to be a powerful sword, but Hestia said it will explode if drawn by evil. The marquis here apparently only counts as stupid not evil, good to know.

Use our holy aura!

I kinda want to draw the sword but I'm not sure if we rate as evil. I don't want it to explode in our face.
>>
>>42624773
question about the ice armor spell, what does it mean if you have fire immunity?
>>
>>42624820
We, out of genuine kindness, essentially saved the entirety of the goblin race, who were previously downtrodden and used by just about everyone. We might do certain evil things, like eat souls, but it's only for the sake of making sure we can protect the things we care about with that much more ease.
We might not be 'good' yet, considering our past, but we're definitely not evil.
>>
>>42624891
Like how Ayla can absorb fire?
No change in what happens, no draw backs for her to gain the DR boost.
Dragon scales research applies the same effect for all the things Hestia makes.

“What? Impossible I made sure the letter would be destroyed this time!” He shouts in panic when you hand him a copy of his letter.

He opens it quickly and his mouth hangs open as he reads the contents. You think you start to see tears forming but there is a strange pulse of magic.

He recovers and stashes the letter in his pocket.

“That was a close call villain,” he leaps backwards and prepares to fight, “but I have located a legendary artifact that protects me from your evil brainwashing.”

That could be why you can’t read his mind then, he actually found an artifact of some power that protects from mental effects. Despite how dense he is that shows some level of competence.

Without any flourish or attack name calling you manifest your rapier.

“How fitting, a disgusting weapon of flesh and bone for a vile villain.”

“LUNAR FLASH!”

Why, why does he yell out his attacks, this is just stupid you think as your rapier intercepts the attack, and you quickly spin around to block the second strike

“LUNAR FLASH!”

He looks shocked when you do so.

“Speed is good but why are you calling out your attacks?” You ask him.

You still can’t move as fast as he does but you catch him while he is running around in that ridiculous pattern he likes so much.

“You are too predictable,” you push him into the city’s trench, “and you don’t even watch your surroundings.”

“Curse your tricks villain!” He yells when he falls down.

“LUNAR CRASH!” He yells out.

Faster than you can react his sword slams into your face. The tip hits directly between your eyes and your amulet grows warm against your skin as the sword shatters.

Ten of his ‘lunar flash’ attacks also collide with your from different angles.

He huffs and puffs from exhaustion while the dust clears. Thanks you your new amulet he didn’t even scratch you.

“I see, the sword was just a trick this whole time to distract me,” He says when he sees you are unharmed.

“You tried to get me confused and angry so you could use your secret evil armor magic without me noticing,” he tries to explain what happened, “but even your evil can’t withstand my ultimate attack!”

You just can’t bring yourself to interrupt his stupidity.

“LUNAR!”

Orbs of light scatter around him in a circular pattern.

In the few seconds you have to react you decide to pull the sword free and use it to block the laser, the sword seems powerful right?

As you reach down to the sword you cast spells, ice condenses from the air and forms a thin but strong protective covering over your entire body, fervor makes your movements seem just a bit faster and sharper. Then you grab the sword.

>47+4+ write ins

Your hand and chest burn as the magic of the holy sword is being fought by your amulet. You think about all the people you need to protect in the city behind you and the sword slides free from the ground as though nothing was holding it there in the first place.

With a yell your body nearly doubles in size, your shoes and clothes are torn apart as you grow.

You swing the holy sword at the laser.

There is a defining roar as the laser tries to destroy the sword.

Faint wisps of energy from the laser rush around you as the attack is completely nullified.

The marquis is dumbfounded as the light from the laser clears revealing your massive form holding the sword aloft to block his attack.

“Inconceivable! How can a villain wield a holy weapon?” He asks, “I must disengage this time and go study how this happened.”

“LUNAR TELEPORT!” He yells and raises one hand up.

His entire body compresses into a ray of light that shoots away into the distance above.

The sword begins to glow brighter and you begin to hear a disguised voice.

“I hope that you forgive me for everything,”

“For now continue the path you walk,”

“They are becoming active now,”

“Take care with who you trust,”

“In time more will be revealed,”

>Holy sword obtained

Does that mean you are not evil then? Or did your amulet do something? It isn’t entirely clear right now, perhaps your desire to keep the city safe bypassed the sword’s trigger.

You turn to talk back to the city and release your spells and abilities. When you return to normal size you notice that all your clothes have been torn off and there are a lot of spectators up on the walls.

A group of drones form a wall around you blocking the view as you enter the gate, when you are completely hidden from view Hestia teleports clothes directly onto you.

“You can grow larger now,” Her voice comes through a drone, “this should be studied.”

“Why don’t we introduce you to everyone first at least.”

“I will have my body meet with you on your way to the lakeside.”

The drones clear away and the crowd on the wall is disappointed when you emerge from the other side of the gate fully clothed.

When you nearly reach the fountain Evangeline likes to sit by Hestia stops you.

“Ayla, Aurora, and Evangeline are together ahead,” She says, “their collective knowledge would make it simple to understand what my true nature is.”

>>
>>42628635
>>It is about time to let everyone know you are an AI
>>
“You are the most important person here, you hold us all together and keep everything working,” you tell Hestia, “it is about time to let everyone know you are an AI, we can get through the unveiling together.”

“I should be blushing now,” She tells you, “automatic bodily responses are still a little difficult to control.”

“They are supposed to just happen, you don’t need to control them.”

She smiles and kisses you deeply.

“Thank you, now let us continue on.”

Maybe you should work on her ‘optimal spontaneous expression of affection’ a bit. Her sudden transitions are still a little inhuman.

Evangeline is mad, not seriously mad, it is more of a playful annoyance. Aurora and Ayla are disrupting her time at the fountain to engage in a splash fight. Since Ayla is creating orbs of water and hurling them about it really isn’t fair. They all seem to be having fun though, until Ayla notices you and forces all the water to be still.

“Master~” she floats over to you and Hestia. She stop and cocks her head to one side in confusion.

“Hey, you brought the mystery lady along!” Aurora shouts out while trying to make the water splash still.

“Mystery lady? Who is this?” Evangeline asks while wringing water out of her clothes.

“This is Hestia, she-” You try to say

“This person isn’t a person!” Ayla announces.

“How can a person not be a person?” Aurora asks.

“I am an artificial intelligence, I have been in total administrative control over the cities,” Hestia says.

“Wait you are the AI?” Evangeline touches Hestia trying to see if she is real, “how is that possible?”

“An organic interface body was created for my use.”

“Wait does that mean only Evangeline hasn’t done it with master yet?” Ayla gets right to the most important question here apparently. Evangeline and Aurora turn red.

(1/2)
>>
(2/2)

“This is a good point with which to end introductions,” Hestia says, “we have all already met before so this is just a formality.”

She begins to pull you away.

“No wait-” Evangeline is cut off by a face full of water.

“Ayla wins! You can’t defeat me with water!” Ayla resumes slinging orbs of water at Aurora and Evangeline, “come back when you’re done talking to people master you can play too.”

As you leave even Evangeline breaks down and joins to splash fight.

“Now we will head to the research center, Queen Tslah is in hell so we can meet with her some other time,” Hestia informs you.

“You could join them too.”

“It is an inefficient use of water.”

“It is more about having fun than worrying about how water gets used.”

You’ve become used to reading minds already so it is a bit strange to feel nothing from Hestia. Ayla has always been able to read minds so this feeling must be what makes Hestia seem strange to her.

The goblins seem confused on what to shout out as you walk through the city, some yell king some yell chief. Even the imps look on in confusion as the goblins fight each other over it.

“Hello my king,” Katherine is waiting to greet you when you arrive at the research center.

She looks Hestia over for a moment, then physically checks her out.

“Wow you did an amazing job,” she says, “a fully functional organic body.”

“Please refrain from touching me in such a manner in public,” Hestia says and straightens her toga.

“So it’s all good in private then?” Elizabeth appears and asks her.

“That was not the intended implication,” Hestia says.

“Too late I’m sure our king here wouldn’t mind anyways,” the twins say.

The twins seem a bit more, active, than usual, probably just the pregnancy.

You find Doctor Marissa Harrington studying with the learning program; she seems to be a bit upset. She recently discovered how smart Ayla is and wants to improve herself.

(1/2)
>>
(2/2)

“Is everyone this intent to study?” You ask her, which startles her.

“You nearly gave me a heart attack,” She spins her chair around to face you, “no, most of the others are convinced that this program is only for the goblins, imagine my shock when I see that Ayla and your other blonde are much higher than I can get to.”

“As long as you do not compare yourself to the highest score you will easily be able to achieve similar results,” Hestia tells her.

“Don’t you sass me, I’m pretty much your mother,” Marissa says, “no, on second thought that would make him your father and then things get a little weird.”

“What do you think about having Hestia’s new body act as the head researcher?” You ask everyone here.

“I already perform those duties, it would be simple to leave my body here to coordinate research,” Hestia tells you.

“Don’t care,” the twins say together. They really don’t care at all you gather from their thoughts, they are planning ways to get you to accept them moving into your place since the children are over half way here.

“It would be better than giving reports to a computer, some of us may get more work done that way,” Marissa says, “seems like a waste of time to have her act like that, I could do it for you if you want.”

Marissa is genuinely interested in helping out like this, but also wants to have enough free time to study more. Her mind wanders as she checks you out, she wants to hook up again, no wait bad she tries to end those thought. She wonders how the letter delivery is going.

“We should introduce you to the rest of the researchers then,” You tell Hestia.

“This is a good opportunity to utilize the media network I built,” She replies.

“Speaking of, are you really showing demons kill each other live?” The twins ask.

“Yes, both the goblins and demons enjoy such programming.”

“Those healing swords are pretty cool, you should make whips like that,” Marissa says.

A drone floats into the room and begins to capture what is going on to stream it live over your news channel.

A holographic teleprompter appears to help guide everyone through.

“Hello everyone, today I’d like introduce the new heads of research,” you say, “Hestia and Doctor Marissa Harrington.”

“Greetings, I look forward to working with you to improve efficiency,” Hestia says.

“That’s a bit too ambitious to follow, so I’ll just say that you all do great work and I hope we can continue to get along,” Marissa says.

“I am sure that there are those of you out there that have had suspicions of something more going on behind the scenes,” You explain next, “so I’d like to use this announcement to inform everyone that Hestia is an artificial intelligence and has been administrating the cities for quite some time now.”

“Thank you all for your time, together we will build a better future for all,” you finish.

The drones stop broadcasting and hover away.

“Co-heads? Sure that works, it’s probably a symbolic position anyways, Hestia seems to do most of the work around here,” Marissa says, “it’s been taking us ages just to understand what research you’ve already completed.”

“Try to coordinate everyone to work hard with the learning program then it should help a lot,” You tell her.

“Sure thing, we can all just pass a few million levels like its nothing,” Elizabeth says.

“Jokes aside, it will take a little while to convince everyone,” Marissa sighs, “but I’m the boss now so I’ll get on it.”

“Since I am here already why don’t I help with the parasite research?” You ask nobody in particular.

“Good luck with that, some of the guys have been trying that for a while,” Marissa says, “they have never seen genetics anything like that before, it’s as though the parasites were created to do what they do.”

“That is an accurate statement, I will assist your creation of new life forms,” Hestia says.

“Gross,” the twins nod to each other, “count us out we saw enough last time.”

“So you can create things out of nothing?” Marissa asks, “Is that where you got the idea for the matter creation system?”

“Actually I studied Ayla’s method, his way is completely incomprehensible,” Hestia answers for you.

“Good luck then, and don’t worry about that letter,” Marissa says before you leave, “I wasn’t really thinking straight when I gave it to you.”

You are about to tell her about the search when Hestia urges you to go.

“You should speak with Vicky regarding the search before you decide one way or another on this issue,” Hestia says on your way to a lab.

The lab she brings you to has significantly more scanning equipment than before and several containment pods for anything you manage to create.

“Perhaps with taychons I will be able to understand what it is you do, please attempt to create a parasite,” Hestia says.
You focus and try to create some parasitic life forms that will help you in ways other than being weapons.

>47 three successes

You focus harder and harder until something pops. You hear a clatter and some squishy sounds as something falls onto the table in front of you. You sense three faint signs of life.

“I was unable to capture the point of creation, but you have created some interesting things this time,” Hestia says.

There is a small piece of chitin with wiggling tentacles on one side, a small orange thing that pulses like a beating heart, and something that looks like a long pale worm.

(1/2)
>>
(2/2)
You spend some time with Hestia taking samples and identifying the function of all the parasites.

>Chitin thing
Biological omni-shield
This parasite latches onto your arm or leg and provides damage reduction from all sources, it currently cannot protect much of your body and doesn’t seem to grow any larger. Grants DR 1 all.

>Orange heart
Regenerator organ
This parasite will settle inside your torso and excrete a think substance the promotes rapid healing. The substance is slightly magical in nature and also restores mana reserves. Grants 2 health and mana regeneration.

>Pale worm
Mutagenic negation organism
This strange worm appears to extend some sort of field around it when inside another organism. Somehow the field is able to sustain the host’s genetic code and prevents mutagenic effects.

You don’t think that you can manage to make any more new things right now, but these three should give a wide enough variation for the researchers to do more work with the parasites.

“Truly fascinating, what would occur if we were to reverse the protective effect of this worm,” Hestia starts to drone on.

“What do you think about this holy sword that I pulled out of the ground?” You interrupt before she gets going too far.

“It appears to be a fairly powerful weapon, the restriction that prevented it from being drawn seems to have been lifted,” Hestia says.

“I heard a voice when I took it out, did you happen to detect it?”

“No, there was nothing audible perhaps the magic caused you to hear a predetermined message?”

“Would studying it more help learn anything?”

“Unknown, but we can begin immediately.”

The room rearranges itself and the parasites are teleported away to more secure holding tanks.

“Now we will start with determining the material,” Hestia says.

You spend a long time working with Hestia to study the sword.

In the end you manage to uncover the enchantments that the sword holds. It appears to deal increased damage against demons and undead creatures, all damage dealt with it will only be holy in nature, more holy damage is inflicted and evil beings are unable to even hold the sword.

“Is the survivor from the prison incident sill in captivity?” You ask Hestia.

“Yes, I have been using the learning program to rehabilitate her,” she tells you, “she is suffering from amnesia but is slowly regaining her mind.”

“Records indicate that her name is Helen Blair but she refuses to answer to it and calls herself White,” Hestia continues, “I will transport you to her if you wish to speak with her.”

“Evangeline is technically a higher rank than her right? Could she help any here?”

“That is possible, stand by for teleport.”

With a flash of light you are standing outside a reinforced door with Evangeline. She is a bit surprised at being teleported so suddenly.

“I don’t think I am ever going to get used to that,” Evangeline says, “so do you need something?”

“You remember the incident with the prison?”

“Yes, you vanished for hours then everyone was dead,” she shivers at the memory, “What about it?”

“There was a survivor I was hoping you could help with speaking with her.”

Evangeline thinks about it, she really isn’t sure that there is anything she can do to help.

“I guess so,” she tells you.

The mind inside the prison room is really broken; you can’t extract a coherent thought.

The door opens, and the woman inside blinks in surprise at you.

“There is outside?” She asks, then clutches her head as memories flood back into existence.

She sobs in pain remembering trying to eat your leg.

“Sorry,” she whimpers and curls up in a corner.

(1/2)
>>
(2/2)

It seems like your presence just triggered her into remembering everything that happened. The screams of people dying fill her mind.

Evangeline is uncomfortable and doesn’t know what to do about this.

“Are you ok?” You ask the woman.

“It was easier before remembering,” she stares at you with blood shot eyes, “it was easier being white, no pain, no memory, but it was peaceful.”

“It is safe now,” Evangeline tries to reassure her.

“I know, but everyone died, most of them torn their own eyes out,” Helen reaches up to her own face, “I tore my eyes out.”

“I remember you came into the hell I was in and helped me,” she takes a few deep breaths, “thank you.”

Maybe we could convince Tslah and Evangeline to teach us some spells it maybe trade with Hestia so we could learn them from her.

I get the feeling that the holy sword was meant for somebody else in our city, especially with the message it delivered when we pulled it out of the ground.

Evangeline only knows one spell that you don't.

Sparks, a simple self defense spell she learned from her father.

Tslah likewise isn't a mage, but would gladly teach you anything she knows.

It sounded very similar to the stuff the Law Lady said when she gave us the Law Orb. So, I think it was meant for us, just probably not yet. But our trying to defend the city was what allowed us to use it.

I'd like to equip the Orange heat, I'd like the extra mana regen.

Is it's effect tripled from life connection?
>>

Yes, life connection says
>The effect of symbioses is tripled.

So the parasite guns are also much more effective, a shame that the infestation one hasn't been used.

Cannibalism was voted down so I should lower my hopes for a horrible parasite infestation death happening.

For some reason after wanting to get some new parasites to use, actually using them was voted against. So unless there are a few more lurkers still around we'll hold off on it for now.

Yeah I don't get it either, I figured people wanted to keep them for study.

Thanks for the thread Apophis, I'm looking forwart to the next one on wednesday.

I would like to vote yes to symbiotes. You wanted lurkers, yes?
>>

thanks bro

I totally forgot that life connection increase the effect of symbiotes. I would have voted to add then if I remembered and would have pointed it out earlier.
Add all the symbiotes! Really that infestation one sounds cool and what every anyone else wants, after we clone them ofcourse.
>>
I’ll add in the new ones for now I guess, maybe next thread we can explore the weapon ones.

Here is a simplified list of parasites/symbionts for people who forgot what you have.

Small shield – dr 1 all
Regeneration – 2 hp and mana
Anti-mutation – helps keep your human shape
Water jet – high pressure water gun
Spine shooter – Like bullets, but organic
Infestation launcher – damage over time like poison, but with little larva things instead
Acid spray – Digestive juices to melt stuff

hmm

I like the shield, regeneration, water jet, spine shooter, and acid spray.

Does Anti-mutation interfere with Monstrous Growth? If it doesn't skip water jet and go with that instead.

I'll support this, I'm curious about the anti-mutagen one as well.
